Great pizza, but everything is digitalized and therefore very impersonal. The waiters are very stressed, and the short time slots put pressure on guests to hurry. Therefore, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

We had very high expectations based on the many good reviews, which unfortunately were not met. The service was friendly. The drinks only arrived after the meal. We wanted to sit outside, but that wasn't possible because all the tables were reserved, many of which remained empty until we left. You have to pay an extra 5 euros for the gluten-free base. And this base wasn't so crispy as it was very soft and not worth the price. We've experienced things differently at other pizzerias. This is the highest extra price we've ever had to pay. The "regular" pizza was okay, but unfortunately, nothing more. For us, the value for money here isn't right. What a shame.

Food: I ordered the focaccia with garlic dip and the bresaola pizza. The focaccia was unfortunately cold and not crispy at all. It simply didn't taste fresh. The pizza, on the other hand, was good. Nothing more, nothing less. I've eaten much better pizzas in Leipzig. Additional note: The very good quality of the food was definitely noticeable, but unfortunately, the final product on the plate wasn't quite as high. Service: Despite the restaurant not being overcrowded, the service wasn't particularly good. The dips were forgotten, and we had to wait a very long time to pay. Conclusion: I had high expectations of the pizzeria, which unfortunately weren't met. Maybe it was just a bad day, but I don't have a positive memory of the visit.

Great pizza, good wines, excellent beer, and a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks. The appetizers weren't exactly my favorite, but that's really all there is to it. The service was also extremely attentive and friendly! I'll be back!

Visited here during a short vacation in Leipzig. Table reservations were easy online, and the experience continued digitally on-site. Ordering was quick and easy using a QR code at the table. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that they offer various pizza variations outside the mainstream. I opted for the version with Leipzig's noble mushrooms and didn't regret it. They prepare a Neapolitan-style pizza here, meaning it has a correspondingly wide crust. Don't be afraid of the term sourdough pizza; it has nothing to do with sourness. I'm a big fan of this version and felt very well looked after here. You can pay by card or cash, so the evening can also end digitally if you wish.

Great food! It's not a quiet place; it's very lively, dynamic, but also very vibrant. And the food is world-class!

First of all: My boyfriend's pizza was very good. Unfortunately, I chose a different one, which had three very solid, carelessly thrown-on pieces of artichoke on it. Apart from that, there were also two olives and a sprinkle of cheese on top. Maybe I just don't understand the idea behind this kind of pizza, but for €16, I found it a bit meager. Furthermore, we spent practically the entire meal sitting on our table neighbors' laps, and unfortunately, we now know their private lives inside and out. The aioli dip, however, was fantastic. Maybe we just have to try it again.

It's nice to sit at Karli, but the pizza itself isn't convincing. The comparatively coarser flavor of the sourdough isn't balanced by the toppings. The fantastic feeling of biting into a truly well-balanced pizza composition is missing; you taste the ingredients and the dough individually, but you don't get that experience of everything being finely balanced. Even special features like marinated red onions (didn't fit with their coarse crunch and acidity) or eggplant ragù instead of slices on the Parmigiana (mushy) are subpar. I was particularly disappointed, considering the pizzeria's name is "Capra," and also by the barely noticeable goat cheese cream. The consistency of the dough is good, otherwise. The hybrid ordering system, which allows you to dynamically switch between ordering with the staff and via the online ordering system at the table, is super customer-friendly. This way, you never have to wait and order whatever is quickest at the time. Payment is then split: the online order immediately upon placing it, and the rest in person. This meant we could quickly order a drink via smartphone while we were enjoying our meal, without having to constantly look around to see if anyone was coming. All in all, it's a nice place to meet up and sit in the Karli, but I wouldn't go for the pizza.

If you're looking for delicious sourdough pizza and love great combinations (especially really good vegetarian/vegan options), this is the place for you. Plus, they have incredibly good green olives and a garlic dip for the crust, fast service, and friendly staff...I always enjoy coming here!

I visited twice, as I live nearby. The pizza is solid, but nothing more. The prices are a bit over the top, in my opinion; they could have reduced the price by a euro, but the local bobos will certainly pay for it. Otherwise, the pizza could have used a little more topping. I was really dissatisfied with the service staff both times, though. Everyone seemed rushed, there were hardly any friendly words, and, worst of all, they didn't ask any questions. Whether it was about the quality of the food or if I wanted to order more drinks. It's a shame.

We made a reservation and spontaneously needed an extra seat, which was no problem! The occasion was a birthday 🎈, and we found a decorated table, which we were delighted to see! The pizza 🍕, the service, and simply everything was perfect 👌🏼! We also don't want to forget the free tiramisu for the "birthday girl"... delicious! We'll be back! See you soon :)

We were here on a Thursday evening. The sourdough pizzas are delicious and juicy. There are some unusual creations, as well as classics for those who prefer them. Gluten-free pizzas are also available for an additional charge. The drinks and tiramisu were also really good. The service staff was friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant, although the tables are quite close together outside, so the noise level is quite high. Highly recommended for an evening with friends, but not for a quiet date.

Mid Pizza , we did a pizza run in the city , went to all the supposedly great pizzas but this one seriously disappointed us, the dough was super thick around the edges and the crust in the middle was so thin that there was only cheese holding it , Above All , the chilli oil tasted as though it was Lao Gan Ma ( chinese chilli crisp ) with extra olive oil added to it and generally it is incredible but should never be used for pizza , it’s meant for noodles or rice or something along these lines , which gave it an unpleasant twang. However the staff was very friendly and polite, pity the pizza doesn’t live up to it .

Very, very tasty pizza. The starter – bruschetta – was also incredibly delicious. Overall, a nice atmosphere right on the hip Karl Heine Street, but the seating is quite cramped these days. We sat outside, so it was fine. But sitting "in the middle" would have been too close to the other guests for us. But that's certainly very subjective. We'll be back anyway :) Be sure to make a reservation in advance – it's super easy online. It always seems to be full!

Fantastic pizzas that not only cover the standard versions but also feature innovative recipes on the constantly changing menu. The sides and seasonal starters and desserts are also something special. The location is chic, the outdoor seating facing the street creates an authentic Plagwitz atmosphere, and the service is also top-notch. We'd be happy to return!

The sourdough pizza was quite good, but it just lacked a bit of pizzazz. The service was very poor. We were passed three times before being greeted and shown a table (we had a reservation). Even so, the tone was more rude than friendly, and there was a bucket of cleaning supplies right next to us... not very inviting. They also serve some delicious pizzas. It's good to have tried it, but not one to return to.

A cozy pizzeria with very, very good pizzas and friendly, prompt service. A touch of Italy in Leipzig ;) The chairs weren't particularly comfortable after an hour, and we missed a small salad on the menu, but overall, a definite recommendation!

I've been there many times now, and making reservations online is super easy. The pizza, appetizers, and desserts are all delicious and of high quality. That's exactly why I don't understand why they serve such terrible soft-serve ice cream, and the sauces that go with it aren't good at all. It doesn't fit in with the rest of the pizzeria at all. Unfortunately, we've had to wait a long time to place further orders twice now, and the last two times we ordered things that never arrived, even though we repeatedly reminded them that they hadn't been served yet. Not great for such a great place!

A DREAM!), there's something for everyone. All the staff were charming, friendly, and attentive, and our outdoor seating was cozy and quiet, despite the location on the main street. But be warned: RESERVATIONS ARE ESSENTIAL, especially in the evenings :) Enjoy your meal!

We tried to make a last-minute reservation by phone, but were only met by an automated message that seemed to be trying in vain to reach the restaurant. So we decided to place a takeout order. When we arrived at the restaurant, our order wasn't ready, and there seemed to be a few tables available. So I politely asked at the bar if it might be possible to eat in. The man at the bar explained to us, rather ironically, that this wasn't possible, but referred us to his wife. She was much friendlier and allowed us to sit at one of the bistro tables inside. We really enjoyed the ambiance with the art and decor – however, the small table was a bit impractical, as the plates slipped easily while cutting. I had a pizza bianca, which tasted good but could have used a bit more sauce and a crispier texture. It was also, unfortunately, a bit cold. My companion had a gluten-free pizza (for a €5 surcharge), which impressed with its homemade dough and fresh ingredients – the prosciutto was particularly excellent. One small disappointment was an incident at the neighboring table, where a guest politely asked for Tabasco and was met with a rather brusque "No!" from the waiter. Overall, our visit was fine – however, in such a stylishly decorated restaurant, we would have appreciated a little more attention to detail and hospitality in some areas.

Pizzeria Capra is a great place to eat Neapolitana pizza! The menu is small but delicious and changes seasonally. Many vegetarian options are available, with optional carnivore add-ons.

Overall, we had hoped for a bit more from the pizza; it was okay, but unfortunately, just standard. There were two servers. One was quite nice, the other, apparently the owner, was unfortunately quite rude – little conversation, little attention. All in all, it's okay, but not worth the money.

Great restaurant with delicious sourdough pizzas! The menu is nice and compact, yet there should be something for everyone. You can sit inside or outside, both offering a lovely ambiance. The service is very friendly and attentive. You should make a reservation in advance, especially on weekends and during peak times. You can do this easily online.

When I was there, they were out of cooked ham. We were asked if we wanted Parma ham instead. We said if the other one was out, we'd just have that. But then they charged us for it! Then it's better to say that the pizza can't be served. It's a shame. Unfortunately, we only noticed this when we did the math at home, because we couldn't get a receipt due to a cash register issue.

Pizza top, service flop – a culinary roller coaster ride The pizza? A poem! Crispy base, wonderful topping – the taste buds dance the polka. The ambience is also convincing: cozy, harmonious, a place to feel good. If it hadn't been for the service page - because unfortunately it was more “freestyle”. While we - and the neighboring tables - waited with empty plates, the waitress was comfortably typing on her cell phone and recording a voice message in the middle of the dining room. The hope of eye contact was as promising as a parking space in the city center - non-existent. A second drink therefore remained a dream. I finally went to the counter myself to pay. Conclusion: Great food, nice atmosphere, service needs improvement. Maybe next time we'll catch a waiter with less cell phone battery.

We came here for dinner as a group of five and were immediately greeted in a very friendly manner - that made a good first impression. From a culinary point of view, the highlight was definitely the pizza, especially the “Capra”, which for me personally is one of the best I have ever eaten. We also enjoyed the starters. However, the Bruschetta Napoli has a rather special taste – certainly not for everyone. I liked it a lot, as did the focaccia with toum, which was also really tasty. At the end there was of course a tiramisu, which was completely convincing in terms of taste. Unfortunately, a few things spoiled the visit a little: Although we had reserved as a group of 6, only four knives and forks were prepared at the table - a rather unfortunate start. Additionally, the table we sat at was very uncomfortable for taller people. I'm 1.92m tall and could hardly sit normally - the table was quite low and the chairs were too high, so I was constantly lifting the table with my knees. Unfortunately, that was quite unpleasant in the long run. Overall, the food was great and the service was friendly, but there was definitely room for improvement when it came to the equipment and preparation for groups.

Actually Capra is a 5/5 whenever we went there they had fantastic pizzas. Well, unfortunately now the online ordering is a complete disaster. Order number BM6FD4 Pizza Marinara Napoli and Foresta. Foresta alone 4/5 because cold. Pizza Marinara appeared incompletely cold and looked like it had fallen down. 1 small piece of anchovies still came with olives that could be counted on one hand (1/5). Overall 2/5. For a pizza experience, go and eat there.

Yesterday, April 11th, 2025, we went to the concert in the Felsenkeller. Stopped here at the pizzaria beforehand. Absolutely the best pizza I've eaten so far, really top and can only be recommended. It was really crowded there in the evening, but I still managed to get a seat because of the concert. The service is very nice, answers questions and also makes recommendations. Reservation: I made the reservation online. The time slots are perfectly selectable. We chose 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM. However, you should be aware that after about 2.5 hours of dining, you'll be charged. That's usually enough time to have a pleasant time here. Service & Food: The service is highly recommended, and the food is very good. The pizzas are of good quality and have a very tasty pizza base. The dips for the pizza base are highly recommended. The garlic dip and the pesto dip are particularly delicious. Atmosphere: What I don't like are the table arrangements and the type of tables and chairs. They're too close together. The tables and chairs are too small. At least inside. It feels a bit like a school daycare. 🤭 Overall Conclusion: Very tasty sourdough pizzas with fresh ingredients. The price/performance ratio is good for me. The service is fast and reliable. It's worth eating here.

We were here on a Saturday evening with 7 people and had reserved a table from 7-9 p.m. We also received a confirmation email with the corresponding time. Quite surprisingly, we were hit hard at 8:20 p.m. One person hadn't even finished their pizza yet. The service person wouldn't let us talk to him and was very rude (even though we had it in writing via email). Apparently they had given the table to another group. It's a shame, because the pizza dough was very tasty (but there was little vegetarian and vegan choice).
