Capone Restaurant in Berlin

I visited this restaurant on a Friday around 12pm. The place was almost empty. By 12:30pm, 2 tables were still occupied. They are offering a lunch special. €9.90 for all pizzas + pasta. I ordered Pizza Toni, but got Antonio... acoustic problem or cost-cutting measure as part of the lunch special?!? Otherwise, attentive service, modern ambience

Nice atmosphere, nice and attentive staff. I just ordered a pizza and a salad to take away. This was easy despite the Schnellmund restaurant being full. Food tasted very good.

We were here on January 19, 2025, very good food, fresh ingredients, friendly service, home-baked baguette, special requests were catered for, cozy atmosphere.

We had very nice service and received our food quickly and easily. My extra requests were taken into account without any problems (pizza with onions, pineapple and green olives). The prices are reasonable. As a starter we had bruschetta. All in all, all good.

The ambience is good as is the service. The food (a standard salad and tagiatelle with truffle cream and mushrooms) was ok and tasted good. The bread was super tasty, probably because of the stone oven. A colleague had a Carpone pizza that looked delicious.

Everything was great, very nice and friendly. Price-performance ratio is great. I'll be back again

Were in Berlin in August and stayed in the directly adjacent Hollywood Media Hotel. We ate at this top Italian restaurant four times out of four evenings! That says it all. Homemade, delicious food, combined with exclusive service and a mega ambience right on the Kudamm. Delicious cocktails, highly recommended. I've eaten lasagna many times, but this was the best of my life. Very nice owner!!

To be honest: I was hoping for more than just tasting the bag of Maggi in the pasta dish. “Sauce” totally watery. The chef doesn't use salt and pepper on minced meat either. The price is also outrageously high at €16.90 and it can definitely only be warmed up food, because who can cook pasta Bolognese in a flat rate of 5-8 minutes? Fresh dishes cannot be on the agenda here given time management, because a good meal takes time. Service lady was very nice.

Nice restaurant but prices are a bit overpriced i think. € €€ the food fine, but the drinks was quit expensive i think.. 0,2 l soda is 3,9 € the same for a water..

A very nice and very good Italian restaurant, spacious, very busy in the evenings, best service, the best pizza I have ever eaten, the steak was on point and the pasta dishes were a delight. When I'm in Berlin, I eat there. 😋😋😋

The meat was very good, unfortunately it was served on a cold plate. As a result, the last bites were cold. Herb butter was portioned very sparingly. I expected a little more for €33. Why did I go into the city to eat?

My dining experience was wonderful. The vegetarian options were more than sufficient, and the pasta was absolutely delicious. The waitstaff were attentive and friendly. Thank you for everything!

Good food, very friendly service in a Capone-style atmosphere

Just spent a few days at the Hollywood Media Hotel and every day had a meal in Capones. The staff were excellent. Very well trained, helpful and knowledgeable. The food was wonderful. Huge portions, well prepared and lovely presentation. Sadly, no risotto on the menu which in an Italian food based restaurant was a surprise. I would definitely highly recommend this restaurant. I am positive that you will not be disappointed.

Restaurant with a great ambience and a view of the Ku'Damm. Solid Italian cuisine, unfortunately with room for improvement. Price performance good. It's nice to sit in this restaurant in a subdued atmosphere and watch the hustle and bustle on the Ku'Damm. The location is the guarantee of good business. However, the kitchen can't quite keep up. Everything you get is solid, but also average. The cappuccino has hardly any flavor, the pasta sauces are barely seasoned and have no finesse. Still, it's always nice to spend time here. I think you could significantly improve the quality of the food with just a few changes. But if the store runs like that... 😏

My pizza Luca was really good. A thin base, baked just right, the vegetables al dente. The Antonio pizza with additional rocket My daughter also really liked it. Nice atmosphere, friendly service. It's on the plan again for the next visit to Berlin.

As soon as you enter, you'll notice the great ambience. Every little detail was taken care of. Starting with the menu, which looks like a newspaper from the 1920s, right through to the furnishings. The bar/restaurant is worth a visit.

The pizza and service are definitely too bad for the high price. If a pizza costs €20 and wine costs €35, you can't put out totally dirty wine glasses.

I found the food really delicious. The pizza is very airy & crispy, very well topped and huge. It tastes very good. The dessert is also extremely tasty, I had the chocolate souffle, it's a shame that the cake apparently came from the package. But still delicious! 🤍

I saw a waiter who could speak Turkish and I was very happy, he was a very friendly friend.

We had dinner one Sunday evening. There were few people, so we were served fairly quickly. The pasta carbonara was good but nothing more, it lacked bacon. For dessert, I had the chocolate soufflé, it was excellent!

Delicious food. Beautiful steak and delicious spaghetti. Good terrace with excellent chairs and table.

Das Essen war wirklich gut, aber dass man zum Hauptgang kein frisches Besteck, auch auf Nachfrage, bekommt ist abtörnend!

Das Restaurant ist direkt am Kurfürstendamm gelegen und sehr weiträumig, dennoch aber sehr gemütlich. Meine Pasta mit Chilli und Knoblauch war sehr lecker. Ich durfte das Lachsfilet meiner Freundin kosten. Ein Traum. Die Bedienung war unaufdringlich und gleichzeitig extrem aufmerksam und freundlich. Ein guter Start in unseren Berlin-Trip. Klare Empfehlung von uns.

Really nice place to eat and have long conversations. Food was quite nice. My wife and I had pasta, which was better than I usually have. The Tiramisu was awesome for my wife and me. Fully recommend it.

WOW!! Ate the best pasta today 🤩 From simple Bolognese, which was really fantastic, to truffles with porcini mushrooms in parmesan sauce, simply delicious 😋 Service was attentive and good. Prices were also okay and average Berlin prices. The Lambrusco is also highly recommended 🍷

I try to always look for the good things in my reviews but, honestly there's not a good thing I can say about our experience here. The waitress who sat us, took our order, and eventually served us was rude and appeared completely disinterested in her job....more at home drinking and taking selfies with friends on a night out. As for the food, it was WAY overpriced for what was served. My wife ordered a chicken caesar salad....dry overcooked chicken (pre-cooked???), dressing which in NO way resembled caesar dressing (sweet rather than the tangy anchovie as required), minimal croutons, tomatoes added, and no parmesan cheese to be seen. My order of a "Pizza Johnny" was a disaster which would give a true Italian a stroke....paper thin crust which was soggy and oily (surprising since there was a minimal topping of cheese and pepperoni. When I asked on ordering if they could add jalapeno peppers I was told they didn't have jalapenos, but that there was pepperoni on the pizza....WHAT???!!! To round it all off, we come back to the service. We weren't asked at any point how our meal was, nor were we offered dessert or coffee when our plates were collected.... appeared to be happier to be rid of us. If the waitress happens to see this review, I would advise her to get out of a customer facing job as she's really not suited AT ALL. As for the owners/cooks, get the basics down of cooking these items PROPERLY....because right now you're just embarrassing yourselves. As for any POTENTIAL customer who reads this, my headline says it all.

A large restaurant on the Kudamm. The atmosphere is rustic and a bit old. Was here for lunch, where pizza and pasta are offered for €9.90. I decided on pizza and was very surprised at the quality. It was well topped and tasty. I think the prices for mineral water are a bit exaggerated. 7.90€ is already a house number!! The staff was very quick, attentive and friendly.

The food was top we had pizza and tagliatelle. Unfortunately the operation was not optimal, No please, no thank you and in about 75 minutes that we were there, no smile.

Small children's pizza: bigger than the big plate! Great taste! Pizza Capone: something completely different. Great idea!! Tomato, beef slices. Arugula. Parmesan and lots of vinegar. Linguine with Scampi: a delight.

Bought salad and pasta penne no. 35 with spinach and gorgonzola. Tasted absolutely fantastic. And then it was cheap... good service and a lovely intimate atmosphere. My friend had a pasta dish Capone with steak and the meat was just so deliciously tender and the al dente vegetables were top notch. Can definitely be recommended. Will definitely come again.

The staff was the friendliest I've ever seen and the ribeye steak was just perfect. Should definitely be visited.

The food was okay. I had pasta with meat sauce. It was very greasy and was nothing special. But it tasted good. But clearly too expensive for the price.. 17€ for spaghetti with Bolognese..

I had dinner here with my girlfriend yesterday and we were pleasantly surprised by the quick and good service, even after we said we only had 1 hour. The dishes numbers 26 and 79 are highly recommended, as is the restaurant!

We normally buy our pizzas to take away. I don't know the restaurant side but the take away service on the left window is very good. The taste of the pizzas and ingredients as well as tomato sauce are very delicious ✌️

Cool atmosphere, great service, right in the center of Berlin

Unfortunately a typical tourist restaurant right on the Ku'damm with overpriced prices and bad food. The waitress couldn't take a simple drink order correctly and only brought one water instead of two. The salad was really mini for the price of €6.90 and the caprese as a starter was also very overpriced at €12.90. The pasta was overcooked and tasted like very little. The pizza was way too oily. All in all I give the restaurant 2 out of 5 stars...unfortunately we were really disappointed and would never go there again.

The food is good, but the staff seemed cool to us and we had the impression that we were being rushed through quickly.

Two days ago, I was staying at the Hollywood Media Hotel, I went to dinner with my father at his restaurant and when it was time to pay, they charged me with two charges of different amounts, 53 euros and something and another for a lower amount, when they only had to make one, Please check your accounting and return me the lower amount or I will contact my bank and refund both charges. Thank you very much.

Great atmosphere and the food came very quickly. Extremely tasty and the boss is a real gentleman. Always happy.
