Capone Restaurant in Berlin

The food was delicious, and the waiters were really attentive. A few people yawned with their mouths open – but hey, it was already dark at 6 pm 😄 The food arrived super fast and tasted really good.

The restaurant is decorated in a vintage Little Italy style, filled with photographs and posters featuring mafia and Italian films. The staff isn't Italian. The food was good; the sauce on the tagliatelle with salmon was excellent, and the dressing was generally very flavorful, with a generous piece of salmon. The carbonara was also very rich and smooth. The tiramisu for dessert wasn't bad either.

The lasagna was really delicious! The service were friendly and fast. We will definitely come back to try other dishes

The food is very good, with a nice selection of wines. The service tends to be inattentive; glasses are streaky and covered in fingerprints.

Good restaurant with good food and service.

We stopped by later in the evening and were greeted very warmly by the waiter, Kassem. There was even something to eat, which came very quickly and was well served with a good drink. It was a very pleasant evening.

Since our first visit to Berlin, we've eaten here at least a few times each time. So far, it's always delicious and cozy. The restaurant's appearance hasn't changed, but this time we found the atmosphere and the food disappointing. The welcome wasn't friendly, but rather disinterested. I wanted to sit low, but we were pushed onto the high edge tables. The waiter pretended not to understand me—I speak fluent German—which was really unpleasant. The food, especially the lasagna, was bland. It still had a bit of flavor, but wasn't warm through. I strongly suspected it wasn't fresh, but it was way overcooked. I left more than half of it. For almost €70 for the two of us, without a starter or dessert, everything is truly overpriced. It's outrageous that you're more or less obligated to tip. I'll decide that for myself! Very uncomfortable and not what we're used to from Capone! We won't be back next time, which is a shame!

By far the best Italian restaurant in Berlin... It's rare to experience food and service like this. Greetings to Kassem. I've never experienced such courtesy and warmth from the staff. My regular Italian friends and I have no plans to change that.

Given the prices this is very mediocre food. Pasta was well overcooked and sauce with gritty meat, generic in taste and watery in texture. For this cost I have been to much better places in Berlin.

The lasagne was clearly a reheat. Cold in parts. Ragu was mince meat and not ragu in what is expected. Soufflé was frozen. Must have been in fridge all day. Nothing light about it. Service was ok. Felt rushed in parts and then ignored for a long time. Was ok at best. Wouldn’t recommend unless you are part of the hotel

We wanted a Mai Tai as a nightcap. After 25 minutes, even though the bar was quiet, we finally got our cocktails. Unfortunately, it was more of a mixed drink than a Mai Tai. When we pointed this out, we were told that perhaps it was too low in alcohol or the wrong one. We were then brought a new cocktail, which we had previously declined. Overall, the staff was rather unmotivated, constantly wiping their faces or beards. Upscale ambiance, but lacking in details (good and cheap shakers, Pepsi Cola bottles on the tables, etc.).

The food is very tasty, but also very expensive. We went with the gourmet package, which meant one meal was free. Otherwise, we wouldn't have gone there. The drink prices are outrageously expensive, hence two stars deducted (€8 for a 0.75l water).

The food was good. The 4 of us got pizza and pasta. The pizza came after 20 minutes. The pasta didn't arrive until 1 hour after ordering. No messages from the waiter and no compensation was offered. Please improve if you want us to come again like we do every year.

Capaccio was neutral bread did not come with the food, but was offered without eating. Lasagna was both cold and hot and the top was rock hard. (Advertised as freshly made but appeared to be heated in a microwave.) Service was somewhat unfriendly.

Three of us had lunch at the Capone restaurant on Ku'damm. The food came very quickly, and the service was friendly and attentive. We sat outside – it was a bit noisy due to the traffic, but it was still pleasant. Everything inside is very nicely decorated. Overall, a lovely lunch in a good atmosphere.

The restaurant is located next to the Hollywood Media Hotel. It's usually busy on Saturday evenings. It's presented well, although we didn't have a chance to try the menu.

The only reason for the four stars is the long wait for the food, which was very good. I would happily eat there again anytime.

We stayed for five days and enjoyed excellent food from our favorite waiter, Kasem. If we ever come back to Berlin, we'll definitely come back. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Ate here three days in a row with my son. The first two times were in the restaurant itself. The service was quick and friendly. The food was very good, pizza with a nice crust and a delicious cold red Lambrusco. Even the room service was excellent (we stayed in the hotel above): not in cardboard boxes, but neatly served on a warmed plate with cutlery and napkins, and delivered to our room within fifteen minutes of ordering. I ordered a seafood salad and a Mai Tai. 🥗 The salad was delicious and filling. 🧀 The chef was also very polite when I asked for some extra Parmesan. The portions are large. 🍸 The Mai Tai wasn’t very strong, with a distinct almond flavor — but still tasty. 📡 Free Wi-Fi with NO password needed. 🚫 The staff don’t speak English very well, even though it’s a restaurant in a hotel. 🚫 The waiter who served us did everything fine, but it felt like the day had just started and he was already fed up.

A truly top restaurant, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is also super nice. My mother had her birthday and they arrived with a delicious tiramisu and played birthday songs throughout the restaurant and really top service. The best restaurant I have ever eaten at.

Expensive place for a not-so-great experience. The prices on the online menu are much cheaper than at the restaurant, where they’re three times higher. The waiter was nice, but the place itself was not.

A pleasant surprise. When you think of a hotel restaurant, you usually think of it as shabby or overpriced. It's not like that, but more like a regular Italian restaurant. The menu is better than usual, with a wider selection of pizza and pasta. The pizza is perfect, properly thin and crispy, which isn't always the case in Germany. The service is excellent, fast, competent, and friendly. A nice outdoor terrace overlooking the Ku'damm.

Really good food, we ate in the restaurant 2 nights. The staff were friendly and polite, right up until we had to pay by credit card and chose NOT to tip. The result was a sour look on the waiter's face, and it was clear that he was offended. You can't afford that as an employee, and you should expect to be treated the same, even if you don't tip.

The food was good, and I think the prices were OK for Berlin. The service on our day was excellent, as the staff really went out of their way to look after the children.

Perfect dinner in a great atmosphere directly on Kurfürstendamm

The Capone is centrally located on Kurfürstendamm. We arrived as a group and first ordered drinks. My order was forgotten. After a long wait, the dishes arrived. Then my fork was missing. My tagliatelli with salmon wasn't particularly tasty. The salmon was typical frozen, plain, and the pasta was lacking in flavor, too. An Italian restaurant that evokes a new, typical feeling of happiness. The restrooms were dirty, and the hallway was also messy. No, I can't recommend this restaurant.

We (6 people) were in Berlin at the Hotel am Kudamm over the weekend and didn't expect to find such a good, top-class restaurant there: They offer a very good meal for €9.90 (!). All the dishes are plentiful, delicious, and really good. The service is very attentive. Full marks!! Keep it up!!

Pretty good little place. Not crowded and not too darned expensive. The food was great. The lasagna was delicious and very filling, the pizza had a good sauce and a really good flavor profile. The whiskey sours were a bit short on whisky, and no froth at all. Really all we tasted was lime juice. If you go you’ll live the food, but choose a different drink option.

Were visiting Berlin over the weekend, the restaurant was directly opposite our hotel. Went there on Friday evening and were thrilled. We received a very friendly welcome, the food and drinks were very tasty and the service was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Sitting at the table outside it was very comfortable. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. If I visit Berlin again I will definitely visit this restaurant again.

The place itself is nice and the service was very attentive and friendly. However, the food was a bit disappointing. The pizza looked good but was overly greasy, and the pasta was overcooked. The only thing I truly enjoyed were the asparagus.

Have to say this first publicly as something fishy is going on here. I posted a review some time ago now when I visited the restaurant and as I said previously the service wS mediocre at best! Food was mot good simply put. My fries were bitter and fried in an old oil! Steak was bad, couldn’t even get the temperature right . I ordered medium steak came out half medium half rare! Only one dish was ordered, the flavor of the steak wasn’t good wasn’t made on actual open flame grill as they claimed they do. So I’m posting this again. This was over a year ago, perhaps they changed management and chefs.. who knows

Terrible experience. The food was bad—cold, bland, and clearly not fresh. As for service, it was practically non-existent. We were ignored most of the time, and when we did get attention, it was rude and unprofessional. Definitely not coming back.

The location and the creative furnishings speak for themselves, unfortunately this is not the case with the service. Of the two waitresses present, I was the least motivated. Because of her motivation level, I was served accordingly, which I found absolutely a shame. The food was of average quality and absolutely solidly prepared. In terms of price-performance ratio, it was absolutely right.

Do not confuse it with the menus in Turkey. One pizza is easily enough for two people. I also highly recommend the tomato soup.

I visited this restaurant on a Friday around 12pm. The restaurant was almost empty. Two tables were occupied by 12:30 p.m. A lunch special is offered. 9.90 € all pizzas + pasta. Had ordered pizza Toni, but got Antonio... acoustic problem or cost-cutting measure as part of the lunch offer?!? Otherwise attentive service and modern atmosphere

We had very nice service and received our food quickly and easily. My extra requests were taken into account without any problems (pizza with onions, pineapple and green olives). The prices are reasonable. As a starter we had bruschetta. All in all, all good.
