Capone Restaurant in Berlin

The Capone is centrally located on Kurfürstendamm. We arrived as a group and first ordered drinks. My order was forgotten. After a long wait, the dishes arrived. Then my fork was missing. My tagliatelli with salmon wasn't particularly tasty. The salmon was typical frozen, plain, and the pasta was lacking in flavor, too. An Italian restaurant that evokes a new, typical feeling of happiness. The restrooms were dirty, and the hallway was also messy. No, I can't recommend this restaurant.

We (6 people) were in Berlin at the Hotel am Kudamm over the weekend and didn't expect to find such a good, top-class restaurant there: They offer a very good meal for €9.90 (!). All the dishes are plentiful, delicious, and really good. The service is very attentive. Full marks!! Keep it up!!

We had a wonderful evening. We enjoyed good food. The service was very friendly. We felt very comfortable and would gladly come back.

Pretty good little place. Not crowded and not too darned expensive. The food was great. The lasagna was delicious and very filling, the pizza had a good sauce and a really good flavor profile. The whiskey sours were a bit short on whisky, and no froth at all. Really all we tasted was lime juice. If you go you’ll live the food, but choose a different drink option.

Were visiting Berlin over the weekend, the restaurant was directly opposite our hotel. Went there on Friday evening and were thrilled. We received a very friendly welcome, the food and drinks were very tasty and the service was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Sitting at the table outside it was very comfortable. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. If I visit Berlin again I will definitely visit this restaurant again.

The place itself is nice and the service was very attentive and friendly. However, the food was a bit disappointing. The pizza looked good but was overly greasy, and the pasta was overcooked. The only thing I truly enjoyed were the asparagus.

For some reason Google has removed my review post?!!? Wondering why is it?! Is the Restaurant Capone paying google to do so? What happened to freedom of speech?!? It’s that the point of a review? Have to say this first publicly as something fishy is going on here. I posted a review some time ago now when I visited the restaurant and as I said previously the service wS mediocre at best! Food was mot good simply put. My fries were bitter and fried in an old oil! Steak was bad, couldn’t even get the temperature right . I ordered medium steak came out half medium half rare! Only one dish was ordered, the flavor of the steak wasn’t good wasn’t made on actual open flame grill as they claimed they do. So I’m posting this again. This was over a year ago, perhaps they changed management and chefs.. who knows

Terrible experience. The food was bad—cold, bland, and clearly not fresh. As for service, it was practically non-existent. We were ignored most of the time, and when we did get attention, it was rude and unprofessional. Definitely not coming back.

The location and the creative furnishings speak for themselves, unfortunately this is not the case with the service. Of the two waitresses present, I was the least motivated. Because of her motivation level, I was served accordingly, which I found absolutely a shame. The food was of average quality and absolutely solidly prepared. In terms of price-performance ratio, it was absolutely right.

Absolutely recommended. A very tasty end to a lovely day of vacation in Berlin. We enjoyed the pasta and pizza. We'll be back. Update. Were here again for dinner on April 23, 2025. It was again great service and the food tasted excellent. As promised, we'll be back.

Do not confuse it with the menus in Turkey. One pizza is easily enough for two people. I also highly recommend the tomato soup.

I visited this restaurant on a Friday around 12pm. The restaurant was almost empty. Two tables were occupied by 12:30 p.m. A lunch special is offered. 9.90 € all pizzas + pasta. Had ordered pizza Toni, but got Antonio... acoustic problem or cost-cutting measure as part of the lunch offer?!? Otherwise attentive service and modern atmosphere

We had very nice service and received our food quickly and easily. My extra requests were taken into account without any problems (pizza with onions, pineapple and green olives). The prices are reasonable. As a starter we had bruschetta. All in all, all good.

The ambience is good as is the service. The food (a standard salad and tagiatelle with truffle cream and mushrooms) was ok and tasted good. The bread was super tasty, probably because of the stone oven. A colleague had a Carpone pizza that looked delicious.

Were in Berlin in August and stayed in the directly adjacent Hollywood Media Hotel. We ate at this top Italian restaurant four times out of four evenings! That says it all. Homemade, delicious food, combined with exclusive service and a mega ambience right on the Kudamm. Delicious cocktails, highly recommended. I've eaten lasagna many times, but this was the best of my life. Very nice owner!!

To be honest: I was hoping for more than just tasting the bag of Maggi in the pasta dish. “Sauce” totally watery. The chef doesn't use salt and pepper on minced meat either. The price is also outrageously high at €16.90 and it can definitely only be warmed up food, because who can cook pasta Bolognese in a flat rate of 5-8 minutes? Fresh dishes cannot be on the agenda here given time management, because a good meal takes time. Service lady was very nice.

A very nice and very good Italian restaurant, spacious, very busy in the evenings, best service, the best pizza I have ever eaten, the steak was on point and the pasta dishes were a delight. When I'm in Berlin, I eat there. 😋😋😋

The meat was very good, unfortunately it was served on a cold plate. As a result, the last bites were cold. Herb butter was portioned very sparingly. I expected a little more for €33. Why did I go into the city to eat?

My dining experience was wonderful. The vegetarian options were more than sufficient, and the pasta was absolutely delicious. The waitstaff were attentive and friendly. Thank you for everything!

Good food, very friendly service in a Capone-style atmosphere

Just spent a few days at the Hollywood Media Hotel and every day had a meal in Capones. The staff were excellent. Very well trained, helpful and knowledgeable. The food was wonderful. Huge portions, well prepared and lovely presentation. Sadly, no risotto on the menu which in an Italian food based restaurant was a surprise. I would definitely highly recommend this restaurant. I am positive that you will not be disappointed.

Restaurant with a great ambience and a view of the Ku'Damm. Solid Italian cuisine, unfortunately with room for improvement. Price performance good. It's nice to sit in this restaurant in a subdued atmosphere and watch the hustle and bustle on the Ku'Damm. The location is the guarantee of good business. However, the kitchen can't quite keep up. Everything you get is solid, but also average. The cappuccino has hardly any flavor, the pasta sauces are barely seasoned and have no finesse. Still, it's always nice to spend time here. I think you could significantly improve the quality of the food with just a few changes. But if the store runs like that... 😏

My pizza Luca was really good. A thin base, baked just right, the vegetables al dente. The Antonio pizza with additional rocket My daughter also really liked it. Nice atmosphere, friendly service. It's on the plan again for the next visit to Berlin.

As soon as you enter, you'll notice the great ambience. Every little detail was taken care of. Starting with the menu, which looks like a newspaper from the 1920s, right through to the furnishings. The bar/restaurant is worth a visit.

The pizza and service are definitely too bad for the high price. If a pizza costs €20 and wine costs €35, you can't put out totally dirty wine glasses.

I found the food really delicious. The pizza is very airy & crispy, very well topped and huge. It tastes very good. The dessert is also extremely tasty, I had the chocolate souffle, it's a shame that the cake apparently came from the package. But still delicious! 🤍

We had dinner one Sunday evening. There were few people, so we were served fairly quickly. The pasta carbonara was good but nothing more, it lacked bacon. For dessert, I had the chocolate soufflé, it was excellent!

Das Restaurant ist direkt am Kurfürstendamm gelegen und sehr weiträumig, dennoch aber sehr gemütlich. Meine Pasta mit Chilli und Knoblauch war sehr lecker. Ich durfte das Lachsfilet meiner Freundin kosten. Ein Traum. Die Bedienung war unaufdringlich und gleichzeitig extrem aufmerksam und freundlich. Ein guter Start in unseren Berlin-Trip. Klare Empfehlung von uns.

Really nice place to eat and have long conversations. Food was quite nice. My wife and I had pasta, which was better than I usually have. The Tiramisu was awesome for my wife and me. Fully recommend it.
