CAP1 Restaurant in Baesweiler

The food was very tasty. Unfortunately our order got lost in the kitchen, which meant we had to wait a little longer for our food. To compensate, we got a starter and dessert on the house. Something like that is not a given. Deserves 5 stars

The interior isn't really comfortable, but the food is good, at least everything is freshly made.

In einem Gewerbegebiet befindet sich dieses moderne Lokal, wo sich erstaunlich viele Familien zur Mittagszeit treffen. Wir setzen uns auf die nette Terrasse, werden sehr nett bedient und bewirtet.

Very good food on a not overloaded menu. The service employees are nice, competent and not intrusive. So far we've only sat outside... it doesn't seem quite as comfortable inside.

The service staff were very nice. The food was ok, but good value for money. The worst thing I actually found was that it was totally dirty. There were leftover food and a lot of dirt under the table. There were a lot of butt stubs outside, right behind the window where we were sitting. But the worst thing I found was that the high chair that my son had to sit in had to be thoroughly cleaned by me because it was so dirty. We probably won't eat there again.

Very courteous service. The location is super cozy with the colorful armchairs. The food is tasty, especially the fries are fresh and homemade. On the weekly menu there was a cookie in the pan for dessert. It was so good that the cookie should be added to the menu! The house lemonades are relatively expensive and come in small glasses. All in all we were very satisfied here.

The food is very tasty and I think everyone will find something they like to eat there. Drinks are also well chilled. The restaurant and the outdoor terrace are simple but modern. The only thing I would like to see is a separate smoking area outside. If you're sitting at the table and 5-6 people come out to smoke and are standing right next to our table, it doesn't have to be that way. There is also air in the staff, at least some of them. There is too much variation among the staff between attention and disinterest. Therefore 1 star deduction for staff and smoking area.

The CAP1 restaurant in Baesweiler offers an excellent menu with delicious dishes and attentive service. The selection of dishes is varied and the quality of the food is outstanding. I was particularly impressed by the creativity and freshness of the dishes. Unfortunately, our visit was a little marred after the main course as we were no longer served and had to ask for dessert and drinks ourselves. Nevertheless, we found the visit to CAP1 to be pleasant and would be happy to come back!

First of all, big compliments to the kitchen, the food tastes good. The ambience is also chic. Service is really bad. A total of six orders were forgotten throughout the evening. In my opinion, there were a lot of staff present, and the staff often stood around bored and had nothing to do. If something new came along in the way of drinks or something similar, the empty one was usually not taken away. I think the price ratio for starters is sometimes too expensive. Prices for the main dishes are ok except for pizza, which is too expensive. Well, the highlight is breakfast the next morning. I travel a lot on business and stay in many hotels. I have never experienced such a price. I was allowed to pay €25 for breakfast and there were two more drinks (water), which you have to pay separately. Absolutely cheeky for the selection. For comparison, you normally pay between €11-18 for breakfast in a hotel and you can drink as much water/tea/coffee/juice as you want. I will not visit this restaurant again. After all, I don't just pay for food but also for service and what you pay is too much. Conclusion: Tasty but incompetent staff and overpriced.

Had a nice visit to CAP1, the cellars were very friendly and helpful. PLV was okay, the food tasted very good! The price is perhaps 2-3€ too expensive per dish but overall it's definitely worth a visit.

A good tip for breakfast near Carl-Alexander Park. Very nice, friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet (not very big, but everything you need and everything tasty). If the weather is good, you should sit outside on the terrace.

This is the first time I've edited a review down and it's very rare that I even give it one star, but here it's more than deserved. If you don't have enough staff, you don't accept any more guests and tell the guests that they have to expect a waiting time. For us that meant: - 1.5 hour wait without warning and food only came after 2 complaints and the threat that this would be our last visit - Despite the fact that I emphasized twice that it was really important that my steak was medium rare, I got a well-done steak (the same for my son). I told the waiter this, but also said that I would have the steak now because I didn't want to have to wait any longer. - it gave the impression that individual ingredients were no longer available. We were told this beforehand when it came to the burger bun. - During the long waiting time, no one even asked if everything was okay or if we would like something more to drink - as compensation for all the trouble, we were given drinks for free (everyone had a cola). I was really upset until I got the bill. When I saw the bill I was outraged. It's really a disgrace to charge for the incorrectly fried steaks after the waiting time. A messy Mother's Day all around.

We had a super delicious breakfast here. The coffee products were delicious and the bread selection was good. Sausage and cheese were fresh and the egg dishes were also very tasty. All in all highly recommended.

Restaurant is more or less in a commercial area. But the interior is nicely designed. The food selection is varied, but a little more expensive. The food comes quickly and hot. Delicious The staff is friendly, could be a little more attentive. Overall, definitely recommended. The toilet facilities should be worked on. They were dirty.

People, people, people... Here is a young team that is super attentive, friendly and well trained to serve you. The food was (surprisingly, I have to admit!) great: from the (supposedly) simple Wiener Schnitzel to the perfectly prepared pasta dishes - very, very good. It's great how the head (??) chef uses cooking tweezers to lift the pasta with sauce onto the plate. Great taste, nice presentation of the food. All of this at a fair price. For us the best food/restaurant in the Übach-Palenberg/Geilenkirchen & Co. area. Bravo!!

We've had breakfast there twice. Not a very large selection but quite sufficient for the price and is always freshly prepared. That's why you sometimes have to wait for the scrambled eggs or the pancakes.

We like the CAP1 so much because it is beautifully clear. The service at breakfast was very good. There was everything you need for a good breakfast. Still only 3 stars because the atmosphere would be “even better/more comfortable”. A larger/special selection of dishes could be offered....

Was there for the first time. The food was really great. The only thing that wasn't so good was the service. You always had to ask if you wanted to order drinks. Otherwise everything was very good 👌

Unfortunately no gluten-free alternatives at the breakfast buffet. We registered with 10 people. The restaurant was full, so the plates at the buffet were only slowly replenished by the two employees, 1x kitchen, 1x service. The service in general cannot be achieved with one person. The young man was always friendly and helpful, but he can't be in two places at the same time. The food was delicious.

The restaurant is really nice and the service person is friendly. I am a trained hotel manager myself and would be happy to give the service staff a tip. Please always turn the tray with drinks away from the guest. The drinks were on the front of the tray and the empty glasses were in the back. This can lead to an imbalance and the drinks may fall onto the guest. In the meantime I turned away because I was worried that all the drinks would fall on me. Thank God that didn't happen. I also thought it was a shame that we as a group had to wait an extremely long time for the food. Here I felt that the organization of the kitchen was not good. Waiting for 1-1 hour and 15 minutes was too much. Since my food was the last to arrive at the table, I was so hungry that at some point I wasn't hungry anymore and, to be honest, I had drunk my fill. And since we as a group were under time pressure, I didn't finish the whole meal and left it there.

Mehr Schein als sein. Das Essen war gut, aber nichts wirklich Besonderes. Für mich persönlich hatte es den Eindruck, dass ins erstellen der Gerichte zwar viel Fantasie gesteckt worden ist, das technische Geschick dafür in der Küche aber leider nicht ausreichend ist. Der Service war super! Nettes Personal, keine langen Wartezeiten und freundliche und aufmerksame Kellner und Kellnerinnen. Alles in Allem würde ich sagen, dass es in Ordnung, allerdings nichts besonderes war.

War bereits 2× mit zwei Freundinnen dort zum Abendessen. Beide Male waren wir alle drei hoch zufrieden mit der sehr freundlichen Bedienung, super leckerem Essen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.

Modernes Restaurant mit Hotelanbindung. Sehr freundliches Personal und auch sehr guter Service. Speisenvielfalt ist grandios und das Essen sieht sehr lecker aus. Das Fleisch und der Fisch waren „on Point“ - wirklich sehr gut. Abzug gibt es da die Vorspeisen in Relation nach Preis-Leistung zu teuer sind und die Saucen leider etwas Geschmackschwach sind. Daher eher Steak und Burger mit Pommes Frites wählen.

Sehr hochwertiges Essen wird hier zubereitet. Wir waren im Rahmen unserer Weihnachtsfeier dort und hatten richtige Gourmet-Erlebnisse 🤩 Preislich liegt dieses Lokal in der etwas höheren Kategorie, doch für solche Qualität gibt man gerne Geld aus. Danke liebes CAP1-Team, es war ein Abend, der uns in Erinnerung bleibt.👍🏼

Das CAP 1 ist modern und neu eingerichtet. Das Essen ist super lecker und frisch. Die Kellner und das Personal sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist hervorragend und total empfehlenswert. Wir sind mittlerweile Stammgäste und haben auch schon Freunde vom CAP 1 überzeugt.

CAP 1 hat ein wirklich tolles Ambiente, der Service ist hervorragend es wird alles gemacht damit der Gast sich wohlfühlt. Das kulinarische Angebot ist reichhaltigen und sehr schmackhaft. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet ist empfehlenswert hier kommt jeder auf seine Kosten. Probiert es aus.

Tolles Lokal kann ich nur jedem empfehlen. Man muss nur Plätze Reservieren. Personal sehr freundlich. Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden

Essen war geschmacklich gut. Preise und Ambiente passt für mich leider nicht zusammen. Das Ambiente ist einfach und aufgeräumt. Wenn man ausgezeichneten Wein trinken möchte, bekommt man ihn im Cap1.

Sehr nettes Ambiente, Essen ist geschmacklich sehr gut und auch qualitativ hochwertig. Allerdings waren im Ziegenkäsesalat mit Nüssen grade mal EINE Walnuss. In den Penne mit Hähnchenbrust grade mal 4 kleine Stückchen Fleisch.... ob das zufällig war, keine Ahnung... Das Steak und der Fisch waren soweit okay. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend, alles in allem war alles soweit OK

Die perfekte Adresse, wenn man für sich oder für die liebsten mal etwas gutes tun möchte. Wir waren mit dem Essen, der Bedienung und dem Ambiente sehr zufrieden und werden wieder kommen. Weiter so 👍🏼
