The food was okay, but the sanitary facilities are in serious need of renovation... we won't come back a second time.

A wonderful place, where it is always nice to return! This is not the first time we have enjoyed the atmosphere of this cozy Portuguese restaurant. This time we tasted a Portuguese dish - very tasty!

We are very happy that there is the wonderful Cantinho Português in Harreshausen - a real stroke of luck for our district! With their warmth and commitment, the owners Maria and Luis manage to create a place where you feel completely comfortable. It's always nice to get something delicious to eat there, accompanied by excellent Portuguese wines. The dishes are excellently prepared, everything is freshly cooked, and even when it's a little crowded, the quality of the food always remains consistently high. The prices are absolutely fair and reasonable, and the restaurant also impresses with a very family-friendly atmosphere. Cantinho Português is not only a place to eat, but also a meeting point for the entire place. A big thank you to Maria and Luis – please keep it up! We sincerely hope that your restaurant will be around for a very, very long time.

Wir wurden unfreundlich empfangen, es sah aus, als wolle er keine Gäste. Draußen und Drinnen Fußballlleinwand, Alles leer - wir wollten gucken. Missmutig wischte er den Tisch ab. Wir wollten essen (da wir gerne das Fußballspiel gesehen hätten, „Küche hat zu“. Freundlichkeit geht anders. Im Nachhinein lese ich, dass nur Barzahlung möglich ist. Ein Unding heutzutage. Wir hätten beim bezahlen unsere Freude gehabt. Auch ein Unding, dass an einem solch heißen Tag um 21:00 nichts mehr zu Essen angeboten wird. Schade, sind neu hergezogen, der Portugiese wurde uns empfohlen. Wir werden kein 2. Mal hingehen.

We were there for the second time and are totally satisfied. Very nice service that is totally respectful and friendly. Food tastes very, very good and is served on time. If you order a starter, the main course will arrive as soon as it has been eaten. So also very attentive. You can't say anything about the price either. This is in the normal range. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. We keep coming back!

There were six of us and everyone was super happy. Delicious food, large portions and not expensive. Nice, relaxed and communicative hosts. The simple setup is therefore unimportant.

Very nice host couple with a manageable range but with very tasty dishes. Specialties must be pre-ordered. Makes perfect sense given the remote, small location, as everything is freshly prepared.

As always, very good food. The paella is delicious. The fish platter is also not to be despised. The prices are humane. Hopefully it will stay that way! Would eat there again and again.

Waren Mittags hier zum 1. Mal. 2 Erwachsene und unser Schlumpf (2Jahre). Wir hatten uns 3 Hauptgerichte zum Teilen bestellt. 1x Schnitzel mit Pommes, 1x Sardinien und 1x den gemischten Teller mit Spezialitäten. Alles wirklich sehr lecker und teilweise besser als in Portugal. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Preis / Leistung ist hier 5* wert. Das Ambiente ist eher Rustikal und die Sanitären Anlagen sind gut in die Jahre gekommen. Man ist aber hier um das super Essen zu genießen, von da an empfinde ich das nicht als negativ. Der Gastraum, wie auch die sanitären Anlagen sind sauber. Wir werden auf jedenfall wieder kommen.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Tolles Essen, sehr netter Wirt, besonders die eher kleine Speisekarte sagt uns sehr zu. Wer natürlich nach einem Schickimicki-Laden sucht ist hier defintiv falsch dafür aber gutes ehrliches Essen.

Das Essen war gut, kein Luxus und alles einfach und hausgemacht, wie wir es mögen.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, leckeres Essen und auch der Espresso war top, vielen Dank, für den netten Abend. . Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Einfache "Wirtschaft", sehr gutes und preiswertes Essen. Prompte, aufmerksame Bedienung. Das Lokal war an einem Donnerstag sehr gut besucht. Daher ist eine Reservierung zu empfehlen.

Authentische portugiesische Küche. Die besten Speisen nur auf Vorbestellung. Das lohnt sich aber. Dazu ein Bica und ein Maceira. So schmeckt Portugal...

Super Service! Sehr frisch und lecker.

Uns überzeugte das Restaurant leider nicht. Wir waren ohne Reservierung da. Das wird wohl ungern gesehen. Viele Gerichte müssen zwei Tage vorab bestellt werden, das finde ich bei Gerichten wie Risotto, Paella, … nicht angemessen. Wir haben Oliven und Brot bekommen, ohne das wir dies bestellt haben. Eigentlich kenne ich sowas also „Gastfreundschaft“, um quasi die Wartezeit zu verkürzen und das umsonst. Hier jedoch nicht, beides stand auf der Rechnung. Bestellt habe ich ein Gericht mit Stockfisch, Kartoffelstreifen, Ei und Zwiebeln, leider wurden statt frischen Kartoffeln Pommes verarbeitet. Das ist sehr schade. Mein Mann hatte Garnelen in Öl. Gerichte zum Sofortverzehr sind dann schon eher Fastfood oder Antipasto. Das Essen ist in Ordnung, aber aus unserer Sicht keinen weiteren Besuch in diesem Restaurant wert.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Ausgezeichnetes Essen bei richtig guten Preisen. Im Sommer unbedingt alle Gerichte bereits bei der Platzreservierung vorbestellen: Viel Abholkundschaft, welche die Küche stark auslastet.

Der besondere Portugiese, gibt es nur in Babenhausen. 👍

Wir sind hier regelmäßig zu Gast. Ob nur zum was trinken oder auch zum Essen. Preise sind unschlagbar. man bekommt gute portugiesische Hausmannskost serviert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und immer bemüht deine Wünsche zu erfüllen. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen…

Preis-Leistung ist gut. Allerdings sollte man kein Restaurant erwarten. Außen steht Bistro und Bar. Genau das erwartet einen dann auch. Speisen werden vorwiegend mit der Fritteuse zubereitet. Fisch bestand, zumindest bei uns, vorwiegend aus Gräten. Bedienung bestand aus einer one-man-show, so dass man etwas Zeit mitbringen sollte. Es war sehr familiär und freundlich. Fazit: Für etwas Trinken und einen Snack ist es gut geeignet.
