Very nice location with a beer garden. Your pizza was great and it was very quick.

It's a shame, that was our second and last time in Popolare today. We really liked it the first time. That's why we were there again today. Unfortunately too much went wrong today. We had a small child with us and didn't plan on waiting forever for some pizzas. After waiting too long (over an hour) we expressed our displeasure. Not much has changed in terms of service. Apparently our receipt didn't arrive in the kitchen. The second round of drinks was then forgotten. Our waitress didn't apologize once for the chaos. After over an hour our food arrived. Unfortunately wrong, which is why our child had to wait again for his pizza. Again no apology from the waitress. Finally a second person came to our table and apologized for the unsuccessful evening. “We'll come up with something!” In the end, we weren't charged for the children's pizza. Wow!!! And we would have gotten dessert on the house. We didn't want that anymore because it was getting really late due to all the waiting. The food was very good, but a Pizza Tonno over 15 euros??? For a pizza tonno??? A big special over 5 euros? There are sooooo many pizzerias in Lippstadt.

Unfortunately it got very bad, the service was very unfriendly, took the order but then the decorations were sorted. After 15 minutes the wine and the glass of lemon arrived. The pizza didn't come out, mushrooms were forgotten in the calzone and there was a long black hair in the spaghetti. The toilet was unclean and the bill included a bottle of wine even though I only had one glass. On two previous visits the bill was also incorrect, which the lady only accepted after a lot of discussion. We were always very satisfied when two gentlemen served us there in a very friendly and competent manner. Too bad

The food was disappointing and overpriced, the menu was very clear. The salmon we ordered was so dry that it was dusty, and salads and side dishes were available with almost all dishes at an additional cost. With the best will in the world: not a recommendation

ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED!!! One STAR only because I can't write a review otherwise. My steak was not edible, more than half of it was returned. There was no response from the kitchen or the service. Had to pay full price. Not even an apology. Unfriendly and then overcharged. So always have RG given. Never again!!!

A great restaurant. The food was very tasty and beautifully prepared. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the food, about 1.5 hours for the starter, then the main course came about 30 minutes later. That was really a bit too long. (This was probably because the kitchen was understaffed) However, the food tasted excellent, so in my opinion there is nothing to complain about. The service was good, very friendly. We sat on the terrace and it was full. It also looks very nice inside, toilets were clean and well maintained.

I got a Tonno in the beer garden this Sunday afternoon, which I can't recommend. The tuna on top was swimming in oil. The tomato sauce from the tube. The dough was delicious. Even though the waitress agreed that it wouldn't work that way, the full money was taken away from me. The pizza was inedible. Never again.

We were there with a group of 7 people on an early Saturday evening and sat on the beautiful terrace. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy and the food tasted good. The service and the kitchen urgently need training. We had a vegan with us and chose the restaurant because it says on the menu that it also offers vegan and vegetarian dishes. He ordered the vegan gnocchi, which - contrary to what was described on the menu - came with parmesan. When we asked, we were told that the Parmesan is not a vegan substitute product. But we still ate the gnocchi so that they wouldn't just end up in the trash. When ordering, in addition to the main courses, we also ordered a starter, bread with aioli. We were asked if we wanted to have it in advance, we said no and said that it could come with everything else, which was also confirmed . It didn't come before or during the main course, but after, and only after it had been pointed out three more times that something was still missing. Despite the drinks being empty, people didn't ask if you wanted something else to drink or clear away the empty glasses and plates. At least the lady was friendly. Conclusion: Nice restaurant, good food (with some compromises for the parmesan in the vegan meal) and very below average service.

Very good pizza, delicious pasta and large portions. The outdoor terrace is a must when the weather is good. Very nice owner - we have been coming back for many years.

The starter was very tasty, especially the bread. About the pizza was quite good. The wine was super tasty. Unfortunately the dessert wasn't good and looked like it wasn't homemade. But otherwise we were satisfied.

It's really a shame! We ate at Cantina Popolare today based on a recommendation. The food was excellent, the atmosphere is interested and innovative. But what doesn't work is if the bill isn't correct (a difference of 20% / 11.00 euros). Despite a 10% tip. That leaves a bad aftertaste. Always ask for an invoice or do a quick calculation.

We spent a pleasant evening with friends in this restaurant. The food was excellent, especially the selection for vegetarians. Both the pizza and the pasta were perfectly prepared in terms of taste and appearance. We look forward to coming back soon.

Highly recommended!!! Reservation online is completely unproblematic and super easy. The atmosphere in the old Reichsbank is really nice. The staff are nice, friendly and very attentive. The pizzas are absolutely amazing!! Extremely delicious.

Waren ohne Reservierung mit acht Leuten da ,davon 4 Österreichische Köche aus der gehobenen Gastronomie und alle fanden daß Essen sehr gut. Obwohl einige Umbestellungen kam das Essen recht zügig. Auch das Service war sehr nett und fachlich kompetent. Darüber hinaus fanden wir alle das Ambiente sehr ansprechend.

We actually came here for the first time on our wedding anniversary. As soon as I entered the restaurant I was impressed by the atmosphere. There is a mixture of comfort and modernity that is simply perfectly coordinated. We both liked the food very much, and the pizzas were so big that neither of us could finish them all. The service was very nice and courteous, but never intrusive, as it should be. We were definitely not there for the last time.

Very nice, modern atmosphere with extremely well-chosen Italian cuisine. Clientele mixed from young groups to older couples, very pleasant, without trying to give the impression of being overloaded or forced to be high society. From a cozy get-together to a romantic date, everyone can feel comfortable here and find their dish or drink. Recommendation, not least because of the super nice crew.

Top if you like Italian food, you will love it here, large portions, taste bomb 10/10

We went to Cantina Popolare today and had antipasti and two pizzas. The pizzas were very large and the dough was also very tasty. The Parma pizza also looked very appealing and tasted good. Unfortunately I didn't have such a delicious pizza (Pizza Buffalo). For just under €17 I got a Magherita pizza with a few slices of buffalo mozzarella, a few halved tomatoes and an extremely (!) lot of tomato sauce. That just didn't taste right for me. I would have liked at least a little rocket or something similar to round it off. Apart from that, in terms of taste, I would have put the antipasti at less than €10. But the service was very good and courteous!

Super delicious! Fresh ingredients, beautifully prepared. The eye is definitely eating here. Staff was also very friendly. We will be back!

Wonderful ambience, very friendly service, good food

It was very tasty again. Our daughter (8 years old) had spaghetti with seafood. She thought it was great. The rest of the family couldn't agree more as the portion was quite large and everyone had a chance to try!

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und das Servicepersonal nett. Leider haben wir 1,5 Std.auf das Essen gewartet. Das Restaurant war nicht voll und wir waren 4 Personen die alle vier Pizza hatten.

Sehr schöne Location mit sagenhaftem Service und Essen. Früher eine Landesbank und iwann zum Restaurant umgebaut. Wir waren zu viert das erste Mal da und restlos überzeugt. Service spitze und super nett. Essen ....... "Ohne Worte ". Ich sag mal, echt lecker 😋. Da kommen wir doch gerne wieder,wenngleich die Entfernung nicht die kleinste ist. Danke für den schönen und leckeren Abend.

Für gehbehinderterte, wie mich, ist dieses Lokal nicht zu empfehlen. Die Toilette nach oben zu legen, einfach nur schlimm. LEIDER. Service war sehr gut. Die Bedienung sehr sehr nett. Mein Salatteller war viel zu wenig um davon satt zu werden, aber die Pizza meiner Freundin war sehr gut. ( sie hat mir noch ein Stück abgegeben). Schade, das Ambiente passt. Ich werde dieses Lokal nicht mehr besuchen.

Super leckeres Essen. Das Steak war hundertprozentig toll gebraten. Schön medium. Innen sehr rosa. Zartes Fleisch ohne Sehnen. Selten solch gutes Fleisch gegessen. Beilagen leider extra zu bestellen, was das Gericht insgesamt auch extra teuer macht. Salat 4,50 Euro Pommes oder Kartoffeln auch je 4,50. Qualität und Geschmack aber 1 a. Sehr freundliche Bedienung! Empfehlenswert!

War bisher immer nur im Biergarten zum Essen. Hier kann man auf jeden Fall schon mal gut was Leckeres verzehren.

Spitzen essen und echt zu empfehlen!

Das Essen hebt sich nicht von anderen Pizzerien ab. Das Ambiente ist außergewöhnlich, da sich die Pizzeria in einem alten Bankgebäude befindet und man sogar einen Tisch im alten Tresorraum vorbestellen kann. Das war aber auch schon das außergewöhnliche. Andere Restaurants bieten stattdessen ein gemütliches Ambiente mit liebevoll eingerichteten Räumlichkeiten. Der Service ist hingegen top. Sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Schönes Ambiente und bemühter Service - das Essen war in Ordnung, aber da die Hälfte unserer Gruppe Vegetarier waren, fiel die Speisenauswahl durch das sehr begrenzte Angebot ziemlich schwer... nicht so ganz zeitgemäß. Auf unser Essen warteten wir doppelt so lange wie der Nachbartisch.

Gutes, typisches Pizzeria - Essen.

Es sollte ein schöner Abend mit der Familie werden. Wie hatten einen Tisch für 4 Personen bestellt wurden in die hintere Ecke gebracht wo es nicht schön war . Na bitte den Tisch zu tauschen wurden nach vorne gebracht wo es viel besser war . Es waren auch noch genügend Tische frei. Die Bestellung der Getränke sowie des Essens klappte noch gut. Leider schmeckte ein essen nicht, es wurde zurück gegeben sie bekam Ersatz. Wir bekamen noch 2 Getränke aber leider nicht mehr , wir wurden ignoriert . Hätten gerne noch Nachtisch sowie Getränke bestellt aber beide Bedienungen ignorierten uns leider. werde diese Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen . War auch mein letzter Besuch dort.

Hervorragendes Essen,gute Weine und leckere Coktails. Das Restaurant sieht schick aus und der Service war sehr gut. Allerdings ab 22.30 Uhr wurde es was schleppend. Zur Schließzeit 24Uhr wurde es immer weniger mit den Service. Aber nach einem so harten Tagewerk, kann man es verstehen. Irgendwann kann man nicht mehr. Jedoch waren sie immer freundlich und nett. Dankeschön, das es Menschen gibt, die diesen Job machen :-*

Ich hatte eine super Pizza und das Ambiente ist wirklich schön

Etwas kühl dort. Sehr lange Wartezeit aufs Essen. Gäste, die später kamen wurden deutlich eher bedient mit dem Hauptgang. Persönlich stets freundlich. Herrentoilette: ein Urinal defekt, kaltes Wasser, beide Habdtuchspender kaputt, Papiertuchrolle stand auf Küchenrollenhalter neben dem Waschbecken - Hygiene damit fraglich. Hier signifikanter Verbesserungsbedarf.

Die alte Landeszentralbank wurde aufwendig neu gestaltet, hohe Decken, schöne Dekoration. Zu zweit hatten wir nicht den schönsten Platz, aber das war ok. Die Speisen waren gut, allerdings waren wir mit der Vorspeise noch nicht fertig und der Kellner stand bereits mit der Hauptspeise am Tisch. Dafür gibt es einen Punktabzug. Preise für die Getränke und Speissen sind gut. Allerdings hatten wir bei der Abrechnung 1 Radler zuviel auf der Rechnung, das habe ich allerdings erst später bemerkt.

Am Mittwoch Abend waren mein Mann und ich das erste Mal seit einem Jahr mal wieder zusammen raus um etwas zu essen. Wir haben uns für Cantina POPOlare in Lippstadt entschieden. Der Biergarten ist zwar nicht der größte, dafür aber wunderschön. Tolle Atmosphäre, gut beleuchtet und reichlich grün geschmückt. Wir wurden vom Serviceteam herzlich empfangen und zu unserem reservierten Tisch geführt. Nach nichtmal 5min brachte man uns zwei kühl gezapfte Biere mit einer schönen, festen Schaum-Krone. Wir hatten uns für Bruschetta als Vorspeise entschieden, die einfach perfekt war. Die Tomaten frisch und saftig, nicht zu viel Knoblauch und mit knackigem Rucola-Bett. Da wir sonst keinen Hauptgang mehr geschafft hätten, brachte uns der Service zwei kleine Teller zum teilen. Es war köstlich. Nachdem die Vorspeise verputzt war, suchten wir uns den Hauptgang aus. Mein Mann entschied sich für Bistecca ai Porcini, ein 300g Rumpsteak, medium gegart mit einer Steinpilz-Rahmsauce. Dazu konnte man wenn man wollte noch eine Beilage bestellen, er entschied sich für Patate Rosmarino (Rosmarinkartoffeln). Meine Wahl fiel auf die Penne di Manzo "Fleischeslust". Die hausgemachte Sugo di Pomodori war der reinste Gaumenschmaus, so eine gute Tomatensauce hatte ich schon lange nicht mehr gegessen und erinnerte mich an die Pasta einer älteren italienischen Dame die ich vor ein paar Jahren kennenlernen durfte. Das dazu gebratene mediterrane Gemüse war perfekt. Wenn ich Zuchini, Aubergine und Tomate Zuhause brate, wird es entweder matschig oder zu dunkel, im Cantina POPOlare war es perfekt gegart. Die Rindfleischstreifen, wie es in der Speisenkarte beschrieben war, waren schon richtige 4 Stücke Fleisch und keine Streifen. Beim anschneiden des Rindfleisches bemerkte ich, das auch diese etwas dünneren 4 Fleischstücke von innen noch zart rosa waren, nicht totgebraten wie man es manchmal vom Asiatischen-Büffet kennt. Als Topping auf meine Penne di Manzo gab es noch etwas Rucola und frisch geriebenen Parmesan. Leider haben wir keinen Nachtisch mehr geschafft, da uns die Vorspeise und der Hauptgang schon geschafft hatten, aber das werden wir sicherlich beim nächsten Besuch nachholen. Tolle Köche, freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service und klasse Lokal. Nur zum weiterempfehlen!

An italian Restaurant that has mastered the finer italian food in fish and meat but has not lost its mastery in simple dishes like aglio olio et peperoncini. If you want a pizza forget about a starter, way too much food but you can get a doggy bag. Friendly, fast and efficient staff and fully worth the price. I recommend the Vitello Tonnato.

We hebben heerlijk in dit bijzondere restaurant gegeten. Een goede Italiaanse keuken, snelle en aardige bediening, en wat het echt bijzonder maakt is de inrichting in dit voormalige bankgebouw. Knappe architect, out of the box thinking!
