Unfortunately it wasn't anything special. Salad without sauce and no lemon. Beyti Teller came after 4 minutes. No charcoal or grilled taste on the meat. Unfortunately not a highlight. Bread boring. You pay extra for rice. It's ok to fill up after partying, but don't go out to eat! The waitresses tried hard and were on their toes, but unfortunately that didn't work out. A pity. Can is now my go-to place and now that I've been able to try the platter for two people there, I'm a huge fan. The best Adana in the city, the chicken is very juicy, the salad is a little more exciting than anywhere else, perfect Side dishes. The only update I would like to see is the lavash bread and perhaps a grilled tomato on the plate. The atmosphere and the people are super pleasant and word has already gotten around how nice the waiters are.

A lahmacun with virtually no hack on it. It's a shame to offer something like that to the customer. Pure rip-off and just a money grab. That was the last time I entered this shed. You'll soon be able to eat your small, overpriced portions yourself

We ordered an Adana and kebab plate. The plates looked nice, but the food didn't taste particularly good. The Adana meat had nothing to do with lamb. The fries were soggy wet and not seasoned. The bread, two different types, was simply cold. The music plays quite loudly in the place and it can get very hot on summer days. Apparently there is no air conditioning. The side windows still don't open, only the main entrance. The staff is nice. Both the Adana and the kebab plate failed to convince us.

Very friendly, attentive service, my mother's special requests were also taken into account. The portions are huge (I had an Iskender Kebab 8 hours ago, highly recommended, and I'm still full), the prices are more than fair. That's why I can't understand the recent negative reviews and would be happy to come back.

As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, supported by tasteful and modern furnishings. The menu at Can Ocakbasi is impressively diverse, offering a wide selection of authentic Turkish grill dishes. Every dish I tried was a true taste experience. Of particular note are the freshly grilled kebabs and delicious meze, all made from high quality ingredients. The meat dishes were perfectly seasoned and juicy, while the vegetarian options were just as satisfying. The service at Can Ocakbasi is outstanding. The staff are extremely friendly, attentive and always ready to accommodate guests' every need. The expert advice and recommendations made my visit even more enjoyable. I felt very well looked after throughout my entire stay. The price-performance ratio is also remarkable. Despite the high quality of the food and the excellent service, the prices are fair and reasonable. Overall, the Can Ocakbasi GmbH Restaurant is an outstanding address for all lovers of Turkish cuisine. Everything is just right here – from the quality of the food to the excellent service to the pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely come back!

So charging €2.50 for a glass of black tea is usury. Before the renovation, I was with you several times a week, today was the last time. 2 soups and 2 cay 23€ is tough. The taste was also very diminished...

We took lamb to go. The meat was fresh, everything was very tasty and quickly enough, but they didn’t give us any cutlery.

I ate a doner plate there with my family 3 times! There was a hair in one of the plates, why don't you just wear a hood to prevent something like that. I had mayonnaise on my fries and it was hard and yellow. We also had rice that was old, hard and cold.

We ordered 2 dishes and a small fries (for our daughter) and were told extra ketchup in a bowl. I have to say that the waiter once again had nothing to write down for the order. For the main course, I was told 4 times to please put no sauce on the pide (boat) when it came out of the oven, and it was confirmed that it had been understood. A main course came and the second course and fries didn't. After about 5 minutes, the fries come with ketchup on the fries and the boat has the sauce on top (as mentioned before 4 times without sauce)... what can you say about that, we came as a family and wanted to eat together. Well unfortunately we will never come here again.

The food was okay, but an employee threatened to beat someone who wanted to collect his smartphone because he thought the guest didn't want to pay, which he obviously did. The employee then asked for his smartphone as a deposit: the guest said it was €30, which he even put on the table when he left. He doesn't have a wallet with him and can only pay with Apple Pay and was then directly threatened with violence Unbelievable what this employee allows himself!

We have been here several times. Before and after renovation. Unfortunately the prices have risen and the menu has been reduced, but that also means that it is easier to calculate with less choice. The food is always delicious and is freshly grilled on site. Our favorites are the grill plate and the lamb skewer rolled in flatbread with salad and yogurt. Best lamb doner meat that is not stretched with minced lamb.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the other critical reviews. I've always enjoyed eating here before, but I think I'll have to look for a new place now. The menu has been drastically reduced and unfortunately many very tasty dishes have been omitted. The prices have increased significantly (we paid €75 for two adults and three children who only ate fries!) and the quality has declined. I asked the waiter if we could get a small plate of kebab meat for the children. No, it wasn't there. They don't do that here, if I did I would have to order a kebab plate for the children. The dishes all arrived at a different time so that my husband could eat while the children watched him. The kebab meat had a very strange consistency, not at all like what you're used to. In addition, the meat was hardly seasoned. No typical spices as we know them from Turkish cuisine. The new chairs and tables are very stylish, but I found the table height too high when sitting on the benches by the window (I'm 1.60cm). It's a shame, I really enjoyed eating here. That was our last visit to the restaurant.

Unfortunately the food does not correspond to the price and quality. The Adana Kebab was still raw inside and the quality of the meat does not live up to the name.

We were very loyal customers of this restaurant. It's a shame that there was such a negative aura after the renovation. I don't have to go into detail about how the operation was before and how it is now. I would accept the prices if the quality was right. It's a shame that you no longer have something that was good.

As a long-time regular customer who has been regularly satisfied over the last 15 years, I unfortunately have to say that the quality of the restaurant has recently deteriorated. Despite a modern redesign of the interior, the food quality leaves a lot to be desired since the shop apparently has a new owner. It is unfortunate that the once delicious food and attentive service no longer meet the usual high standards.

If you order at 9:30 p.m. on a day when it's open until midnight, you'll be told at 10 p.m. that the oven will be turned off and you have to eat dessert while you're in the middle of the main course, so that the dessert ( Künefe) doesn't get cold. When ordering, there was no option to order the desired dish with one less ingredient and the prices stated on the menu were different than those on the receipt. Unfortunately I won't be visiting this restaurant again. Nevertheless, I would like to praise the food again. It has been delicious on every visit so far.

Food very bad, mercimek tasted old had a bad aftertaste. İskender tasted dry, the meat was like rubber with no taste and we paid €16.90 for this plate. Lahmacun was only served as dough without proper minced meat. PS: Drinks were good, the first and last time we were there.

Have often eaten there or picked up food, always very good and tasty. Generous portions, the Iskender is recommended, as is the lunch menu. Staff always friendly and quick. Family and child friendly.

They have such good apple juice

We ordered 1 meat soup, 3 Adana wraps and 2 Antep katmerli for dessert. Meat soup is what we expected. It wasn't like that. Adana wraps. It arrived very late and the cokes came with soup. The inside of the Adana wrap was almost undercooked. Also, the cucumbers inside were very visible and there were 2.3 of them. The taste of katmer was good. It's crispy on the outside. Intra. It had become dough. The ice cream on it was delicious and the waiter served it with a smile.

Unfortunately, the restaurant is not highly recommended. The food was okay, but if you pay about 40% more than in other similar restaurants and don't notice any significant improvement in taste or quality, then something is wrong. So the food was a little above standard. The plate size is quite small compared to others. The service is ok. Finally: the quality of the food does not justify such a price.

Immer alles top bis auf einige Kellner die so derbe respektlos sind das mir der Appetit vergangen ist und ich mein Essen leider nicht essen konnte.

Mein letzter Besuch im Restaurant war enttäuschend im Vergleich zu früher. Das Essen war lauwarm, die Pommes kalt und ekelhaft. Die Speisekarte wurde drastisch gekürzt, was die Auswahl stark einschränkte. Es gab nur drei Pide-Sorten und keine Möglichkeit mehr, zwischen verschiedenen Fleischsorten zu wählen bei einem Teller. Wird in Zukunft nicht mehr besucht leider.

Ein sehr schöner laden. Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr guter Service. Das Essen ist dort echt gut. Die Auswahl und die Qualität stimmen auch. Gehe dort gerne hin 😀

Daran vorbei gelaufen und spontan rein gegangen. Ich war vor 7 Jahren das letzte mal hier. Das Essen ist wie damals unglaublich gut! Das Ambiente ist freundlich und kundenorientiert. Hier wird man satt!

5 kişi gittik. 3 adana ve 2 et döner sipariş ettik. Adana çok iyi değil ama güzeldi. Et döner ise hayatımda yediğim en berbat dönerdi. Aşırı derecede sinir olan et aynı zamanda bildiğin lastik gibiydi. Ve doğal olarak yiyemedik. Garsona söylediğimizde ise gayet normal karşıladı bunu.

Ich möchte direkt lobend auf den Inhaber von Ocak başı zu sprechen kommen: Ich finde nämlich die Art, wie hier mit „Kritik“ umgegangen wird, äußerst authentisch und menschlich! Ich kann nämlich beim besten Willen nicht nachvollziehen, wie es einige Inhaber schaffen, sich bei Menschen fast schon reumütig zu entschuldigen, die sich im Ton DEUTLICH vergreifen… denn letztendlich macht der TON die Musik! Die meisten von uns verdienen Ihr Geld damit, indem Sie einer Tätigkeit nachgehen. Auf diese Weise sichern wir unser Überleben, unsere Existenz. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass wir gerade deshalb etwas umsichtiger werden, uns gegenseitig helfen, anstatt uns gegenseitig „in die Pfanne zu hauen“ - wobei „der Inhaber“ mit seiner Stellungnahme ja nicht wirklich jemanden „trifft“ oder „schadet“… er/sie muss sich ganz allein der öffentlichen Zensur stellen und ist uns somit schutzlos ausgeliefert! Der Besuch hat mein Leben verändert

Wir sind neu in Bielefeld .Wir haben hier zum ersten Mal gegessen. Mit 4 Leuten. 3 von uns haben das Tagesbericht “ Bohnen mit Lamm “ gegessen. Mein Schwiegersohn ein Gericht mit Hähnchenschenkel. Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden und werden gerne wiederkommen.

This is the second Turkish restaurant I have tried in Bielefeld and it it also excellent. I went for lunch and it was not too crowded, They were out of my favorite tripe soup so I had the et paca which is a lamb meat soup usually made from the head or feet. It was full flavored and had a lot of very tender bite sized chunks of lamb. Served with freshly baked Turkish flat bread. I can definitely recommend it. For my main I had the Adana kebap plate with bulguhr, fresh salad and a tomato dip very reminiscent of a fresh salsa that you'e get in Mexico. Meat was grilled to perfection. Juicy and tender. The salad was lettuce (romaine and rucola), chopped cucumber, tomato chunks and sliced purple onions. A light oil and vinegar dressing was perfect. Service was excellent and friendly. The decor is nothing to write home about but it is clean and functional. If I had to choose between here and By Yol which I reviewed last week I'd have to give a very slight edge to Can Ocakbasi.

Keine EC Kartenzahlung, in der heutigen Zeit einfach nicht denkbar!

Schnell, leckeres Zartes Fleisch vom Holzkohlegrill und ein top Service. Cola Zero und Baklava waren nicht da, ist aber zu vernachlässigen weil ich auf einen Sonntag kam.

Für mich dar beste Döner in Bielefeld. Der Döner ist deshalb so gut weil das Brot selbst gemacht ist und der Salat einfach super frisch ist .

Muss ehrlich sein bin mittlerweile sehr enttäuscht von can ocakbasi! Früher war alles viel besser und lecker heute habe ich das Gefühl die geben fast ein leeres Teller aber 40% teuerer ! Gestern wollte ich mir seit langem ein et paca (Suppe) gönnen und danach köfte pide mit ayran! Der Kellner war der Meinung das es für mich viel wäre sprich sehr schnell satt werden würde und ich dann köfte pide nicht schaffen könnte und daher hat er mir angeboten halb Suppe zu bringen was für mich ok war, aber als ich bezahlen wollte da kam der Schock! Wenn ich halbe Sachen esse bezahlt man auch die Hälfte und was war! Es war nur 1€ weniger😏 1€ hin 1€ her Fakt ist ich hätte eine ganze Suppe haben können für 1€ mehr! CAN OCAKBASI is out 🙋🏻‍♂️

Maximal unfreundliches Verhalten der dort Arbeitenden. Während ich noch am Bestellen bin, wird mir die Speisekarte fast schon mit Gewalt entrissen. Pommes waren hart. Der Kunde ist hier sicherlich kein König.
