Camp Bistro in Naumburg (Saale)

Congratulations on the successful change of ownership! It's unrecognizable. We, the anglers of the Bad Kösen local group, were out fishing at Blütengrund and enjoyed the catering from the Camp Bistro. The quality, price, and portion sizes were excellent. Everyone loved it, which is saying something with about 20 of us. The highlight in the afternoon was the freshly baked cake and a cup of coffee to go with it. Besides the fishing, it was a very successful day, especially thanks to the excellent service at the bistro run by Mrs. Rückert. Keep up the good work! New operator, nicely remodeled bistro—no comparison to last year. The price/performance ratio is perfectly acceptable. 👍

5 stars for the new owner, Gabi, and her bistro. You rarely experience such warmth. The bistro is lovingly decorated. Prices are very reasonable. We'll be back!

I know this little bistro to be more well-kept and much cleaner. I'm a little disappointed that such a beautiful place could be allowed to deteriorate like this.

The location of the restaurant is really good, but what's completely unacceptable is the owner and his staff. It's commendable when the manager takes guests' drink orders personally. However, they should ensure that they present themselves neatly. It's really not a pretty sight when their pants and hat are already greasy with dirt. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the individual groups that gradually arrived at the restaurant. It took a really long time for the drinks to arrive at some tables. In our case, coffee, cappuccino, and hot chocolate were brought together, but the teaspoon for the cappuccino wasn't properly cleaned and was simply handed out to the guest. A real no-go in the restaurant industry. Just like glasses were served to guests by the waiter with their hand directly on the rim. Accordingly, you can imagine their thumbs touching the food as most of the food was brought to the guests one at a time. An empty table was only cleared after we made a comment, while the staff walked past several times and didn't think it necessary to take the glass and empty plate. Some guests' requests for another drink were ignored. When we mentioned the owner's behavior to the waitress, she replied that it was just paint stains on his pants and a matter of personal hygiene. Conclusion: Great place, but you can tell that the owner and his staff don't care about the outside appearance, and the service and hygiene are a disaster.

Drinks are OK; you can't go wrong with beer. And the food at least satisfies your hunger.
