The food is good but the service and waiting times urgently need to be worked on.

We were there with a larger group. Unfortunately, our reservation was forgotten despite confirmation. It took 30 minutes before we could place an order for drinks and food. Since the outside temperature was very high, I would have liked drinks to be taken promptly. After ordering, it took 2 hours until we received salads, pasta dishes and pizza. Two pizzas were still missing, here we received the answer that only 6 pizzas fit in the oven and which pizzas were still missing. After another 30 minutes the last pizzas were served. The taste of the food is very good. The service was terrible that day. I suspect that the restaurant is overwhelmed with large groups.

*Far from Bella Italia* In total we have now been to Calo’s three times. Yesterday we were invited to another celebration there. Let's start with the positive: The ambience of the old train station building is really nice and the restaurant is well equipped. The food is beautifully prepared. But that was it. The negative clearly outweighs the negatives: The service left a lot to be desired: Wrong orders were delivered, they weren't cleared away quickly, very slow and inattentive waiters (if glasses were empty for over half an hour, I would expect the waiter to be in time for "refills") to ensure). But the most awkward moment was when a waiter started arguing with a guest about whether the right wine had been delivered. The guest thought he was served the wrong wine. Instead of simply bringing a new glass with the right wine or pouring it in front of the guest, there were loud protests and the guest's opinion was suppressed. That's not possible, no excuse, nothing! But the highlight was that we waited more than 1.5 hours for dessert after the main course. And that despite the fact that we asked several times where the dessert was. A few guests had to leave the restaurant before because they no longer drive in the dark due to their age. Very annoying! Maybe there's only one chef, but given the long (and unreasonably long wait times) on all three visits, it's obvious that there's no improvement. Again, no excuses, nothing! There were other guests in the restaurant (who also had to wait a long time for their food), but the restaurant was not busy or full. How does it work on a day if it's fully booked?! The food is not of particular quality and does not taste convincing. The price-performance ratio is clearly not right! For some guests the meat was barely edible. In the end, the bill could only be paid in cash or via Paypal. During my three visits, the debit/card machine was "surprisingly" broken each time. All in all: If you have enough time and are happy with tasteless food, you will find it here. If you want Italian warmth and “Cucina italiana dalla mamma”, you should look for another Italian restaurant. In any case, Bella Italia cannot be found in Calo's.

The restaurant is actually very nicely decorated. However, we were there with 5 adults and 5 children and were completely ignored for 15 minutes, then the menus came and the waiter was gone again. When we weren't even allowed to order drinks after 30 minutes in the warm winter garden, even though there was actually nothing going on, we left again. Unfortunately we couldn't tell anyone that we were leaving because the waiter couldn't be found. I would have liked to try the restaurant, but it wasn't possible under the circumstances.

Rump steak was ordered medium well and unfortunately arrived rare. When I asked the waitress there was only one stupid saying. After eating (half-raw meat remained on the plate) we waited 45 minutes before someone came to clear away. Ordering more drinks was out of the question. We've been there several times but unfortunately it got worse and worse and this time was a disaster. The fact that only cash payments have been possible for several months due to “technical problems” and items have to be added manually to the invoice is another topic. Unfortunately, never this restaurant again.

We really enjoyed our really delicious meal on the idyllic Mediterranean terrace. The service was also very friendly. We will come back. 😊

Unfortunately, after I showed the man on my phone that I had spoken to him on the phone, he couldn't remember. As compensation, he assured us free drinks for the next visit, so far so good. We made reservations on site for next month. Strangely enough, after only a month the meal stopped taking place. I asked the waiter about it and he assured me that we were in the right place today. Well, in a phone call with the owner it came out that this event was canceled because it was too well attended the previous month... Without once apologizing for the situation or behavior on site, he offered an appetizer on the house, we gratefully declined and decided never to come back. I'm just evaluating the behavior and events about which Essen doesn't want to and can't judge

Already been there 2-3 times. The first time everything was great. Totally bad service the 2nd and 3rd time. Far too long waiting times and inattentive service. Waited about 30 minutes for the bill and on the 3rd visit we still didn't get a menu after 10 minutes. Accordingly, we simply left the restaurant. That was the last time. We've been here at Carlos several times, I have to say there was something special every time. The service is very bad, inattentive, the tables are mixed up (you get the wrong food, card payment is often not possible, there is no real coffee machine and that at the Italian restaurant...or the food has a different component than it says on the menu, without saying anything. Sometimes Once again there is no greeting from the kitchen. The food has its price, which would be ok if the quality was there, which is often not the case. The atmosphere is very nice but everything else needs training, good staff, better quality.

We ordered drinks and an anti pasta misto as a starter. Everything took a very long time, bottle of water 30 minutes, we only got anti pasta misto after an hour after we complained. Cutlery was forgotten with the main course, luckily you can eat pizza without it. We never received the water glass that we specifically asked for. Luckily the bill came quickly 🤪 The food was good, although I imagined dinner for my birthday to be a little more fun. So not immediately repeatable, I'm afraid.

We had made sure that the restaurant would open at 5 p.m. and had made a reservation a week in advance. The restaurant was still closed at 5 p.m., so we waited a few minutes in the parking lot to think about whether we had made a mistake with the opening times. We were allowed to sit on the terrace, the chairs there were not clean and the ashtrays in the smoking area were overflowing. Not a good impression. As ordered and not picked up, we sat on the terrace behind the building, there was still no employee with the key. The question then arose for us as to whether the employees don't have to make any preparations if the restaurant generally doesn't open until 5 p.m. on a Saturday? We waited for 15 minutes, the place was still closed and we left at 5:20 to go to another restaurant. A pity. We probably won't come back again.

We had dinner there with the family. The restaurant is very appealing in every respect, the service is very accommodating and the food tastes really excellent. A very pleasant location. The menu is small and clear. However, it could still use a few polishes. The pizza itself is really very good and stands out from the competition in the area. A special feature I discovered was fried pizza. It's definitely something different. I doubt it will be to everyone's taste. I found it strange that there were no forks with the pizzas and water glasses can also be automatically handed along with a bottle. Still recommended and worth a visit.

(The situation with the staff is not easy at the moment...) Ordered 3 pizzas and waited 40 minutes even though only 2 tables were occupied but they had already eaten... Yes, that would be OK if the result had been right. - Pizza lukewarm... Sorry, not possible 😕 - Salad dressing (ready-made dressing?) Balsamic cream... With such a high price and ambience, I actually expect olive oil and balsamic vinegar to be served with it... Well maybe it will - and one more note... if you pour a Hefeweizen from the bottle... please also pour the yeast 🫣 Maybe next time it will be better... Otherwise we won't come back

Prices that suggest superior service and equally superior food, but then the impression of being overwhelmed, ready-made dressing in the salad and food that is "just" good. Overall, a visually beautiful ambience, but far too loud. We probably won't be able to accept these conditions again.

Sehr leckeres Essen, nicht zu viel Auswahl an Gerichten was ich sehr mag. Lieber weniger, aber dafür von besserer Qualität. Es gibt trotzdem für jeden Geschmack etwas und meine Gerichte waren super lecker. Wir waren sehr früh da, hatten trotzdem reserviert und durften uns in dieser wunderschönen Location einen Platz aussuchen. Auch für Hochstühle ist gesorgt. Das Essen wurde rechtzeitig gebracht.

Sehr schöne Location 😃wir hatten uns kurzfristig für einen Besuch entschieden und hatten Glück, da es sehr gut besucht ist🍀um auf Nummer sicher zu gehen sollte man besser reservieren😉 Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und es gab auch noch einen kleinen Gruß aus der Küche🫶 Parkplätze 🚙sind vorhanden. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und werden auch wieder kommem👍🥰

Endlich mal ein Restaurant in Bad Friedrichshall, das wert auf ein gutes äußeres Image legt, von der Qualität her EXTREM gut ist und sogar liefert! Das Essen ist super, die Lieferungen schnell und das Personal sehr nett. Auch das Interieur ist sehr schön.

Ein sehr schönes, geräumiges Restaurant. Das Essen war durch die Bank weg sehr gut und die Mitarbeiter sehr, sehr freundlich. Wir haben gleich wieder reserviert und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

Leckeres Essen und sehr schönes Ambiente. Moderne und geschmackvolle Einrichtung, alles neu renoviert, sehr schön zu sehen. Das Personal ist total nett. Zudem haben wir einen tollen Grid aus der Küche erhalten und ein Likör zum Abschluss, danke dafür! Wir durften auch noch etwas länger sitzen bleiben - fand ich ebenfalls toll!

Mega leckere Pizza, super Service und tolles Ambiente! Definitiv zu empfehlen

Gestern war ich das erste Mal mit einer Freundin in diesem ehemaligen alten tollen Bahnhof, ...jetzt italienisches Restaurant Abendessen und es war wirklich hervorragend. Das Personal war überaus freundlich, sehr bemüht ohne aufdringlich zu wirken, entgegenkommend,.... einfach spitze. Auch die Speisen waren sehr lecker. Gut gefallen hat mir auch die übersichtliche, nicht zu überfrachtete Speisekarte. Einzig beim Nachtisch hat mir etwas "Fruchtiges" gefehlt, aber das wäre Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Das Ambiente fand ich sehr gelungen, gemütlich, eher gehoben und einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Keine überfrachtete Deko oder sonstiger Kitsch, einfach toll !!! Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen, das Lokal in jedem Fall weiterempfehlen und freue mich dass es endlich mal wieder ein sehr gemütliches, lauschiges und niveauvolles Restaurant hier in Bad Friedrichshall gibt, was zu dem mit Auto/Fahrrad und Bahn sehr gut erreichbar ist. Ich hoffe auf eine lange und beständige Zukunft dieses tollen Italieners!! Unser Hund war übrigens auch sehr willkommen 😁🐕.

Wir haben heute das erste mal dort bestellt und mussten fast 2 Stunden auf das Essen warten. Die Pizza war leider auch noch kalt, geschmacklich aber gut und die Tortellini sind vergleichbar anderen Lieferdiensten. Preis/Leistung passen hier nicht so ganz.

Super leckeres Essen und die Location ist wunderschön

Essen war recht in Ordnung . Hatte eine Pizza (Schinken, Pilze, Salami) und einen Salat (Schinken, Mozzarella, Tomaten, Rucola und Zwiebeln) Ich habe am Anfang gemerkt, dass der Teig vor Ort zubereitet wird, so wie die Pizza geschmeckt hat und auch aussah. Der winzig kleine Mini Salat für bissle mehr als 15€ war auch in Ordnung aber halt überteuert…. Allerdings war das kein (so wie das Produkt beschrieben wird) Büffelmozzarella im Salat. Für beides waren es 35€ insgesamt die ich bezahlen durfte (1-2€ waren Trinkgeld für den Fahrer). Für rund 600-700 Meter Entfernung (laut Google Maps mit dem Auto ) find ich 90 Minuten (also 1,5 Stunden!) recht lange, aber okay, immerhin war die Bestellung Freitag abends, also am Anfang des Wochenendes.. Die Menge des Belags lies definitiv zu wünschen übrig. Fazit: Essen ist so qualitativ wie die meisten es selfmade gebacken bekommen würden, die Portiongrößen sind für den Preis ein Witz. Auch der Belag hielt sich in Grenzen. Ein Italienisches Restaurant bzw. Lieferant ist das hier nicht, sondern eher ein Verein von freudesgeistiger Hobbyköche. Von daher finde ich es schade das die Preise hier so extrem teuer sind. Deswegen war das hier beim Restaurant Carlos in Jagstfeld, Bad Friedrichshall meine letzte Bestellung. Du kriegst das für was du zahlst, doch hier zahlst du (meiner Meinung nach) an einen Geizhals.

Super leckeres italienisches Restaurant mit einer gut ausgewählten Speisekarte. Waren mit einer größeren Gruppe da und wir waren alle zufrieden. Der Service macht auch einen guten Job und ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Bitte macht weiter so !

Das essen 1a und. Telefonische Bestellung wird ohne Wartezeit entgegen genommen und am Telefon sind Sie sehr freundlich. Aber ganz am Anfang hat war ein super tolle Service Kraft anwesend leider ist er nicht mehr da aber ansonsten gibt es dort nichts zu bemängeln leute kann es nur weiter empfehlen.

Schönes Ambiente, gutes Essen, aber der Service macht alles kaputt .... Waren jetzt drei mal da, schief gehen kann immer mal was - aber Bedienungen und Küche gleichen einem aufgescheuchten Hühnerhaufen. Gestern abend wurde die Pasta explizit vegetarisch bestellt - gekommen ist sie mit Hackfleisch-Bolognese ... die Reklamation wurde eher unbeeindruckt entgegengenommen " oh, habe ich verwechselt ...". Jetzt saßen drei Personen am Tisch mit Essen, einer muss warten - und bekommt dann kommentarlos das bestellte Gericht nachgeliefert - kein Bedauern, Espresso auf's Haus oder so - sind ja nur Gäste ... Getränkebestellung läuft schleppend, weil offenbar niemand weiss, wer für welchen Tisch zuständig ist, Bezahlung musste auch zwei mal angefordert werden - und als ich auf die Frage, ob alles in Ordnung war (hat die gar nix mitgekriegt???) der Bedienung geantwortet habe: nein, eigentlich nicht! - da war sie auch noch beleidigt. Den angeboten Schnaps brauchten wir dann auch nicht mehr ... Reservieren brauchten wir übrigens nicht - es ist jetzt schon deutlich leerer als am Anfang. Ist auch relativ schwierig, da als Telefonnummer ein Handy angegeben ist, bei den nach ein paar mal klingeln die Mailbox rangeht ... insgesamt leider sehr unprofessionell, schade!

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und stets aufmerksam. Es gab einen Gruß aus der Küche und das essen war sehr lecker und von der Portion genau richtig. Zum Schluss gab es noch einen Limoncello. Sehr empfehlenswert werden wieder kommen, da es auch preislich inordnung war.

Sehr gute Pizza, super freundliches und schnelles Personal Etwas schwer zu finden, Gegend lässt nicht auf schöne Kneipe schließen, der alte Bahnhof ist aber sehr schön und modern hergerichtet und bietet ausreichend Platz.

Eine schöne Atmosphäre und man wird freundlich begrüßt. Leider konnten wir nicht draußen sitzen. Der Innenraum wurde sehr schön gestaltet. Alles war an seinem Platz. Hochstühle für Kinder sind vorhanden. Es gab eine Aufmerksamkeit aus der Küche und wir bekammen unser Essen in einer angemessen Zeit. Es hat uns gut geschmeckt und wir werden wieder kommen. Ein kleiner Tipp. Am besten vorher Reservieren. Wir hatten Glück noch einen Tisch zu bekommen auch ohne das wir Reserviert hatten.
