I've rarely experienced such unfriendly staff and such overpriced prices for unspectacular food and drinks. 👎

I haven't experienced worse service in a long time. This place epitomizes the fact that gastronomy isn't for everyone. Yesterday (April 10, 2025) we just wanted a coffee; the weather was glorious outside, and the entire outdoor area was closed. Okay, very annoying, but not a real problem. So we went inside. It felt like 100 degrees inside, and there was no real ventilation... (as if the door to the outside area was closed.) So we quickly asked if there was any possibility of ordering a cup of coffee inside and maybe taking it outside, because it was really hot inside. No chance! The incredibly rude waitress's response was, "I'm just finishing work and I'm feeling a bit under the weather." Besides, three cups had already broken outside... Wow... he was a real loser... That made me lose my temper, and we left the place. I've owned several restaurants myself and trained as a chef over 25 years ago, so I've gained some insight into what "restaurants" are all about and how to go to great lengths to meet the needs of guests. This waitress isn't even capable of serving a Bockwurst at a gas station, and if this café hadn't been incorporated into the Luckenwalde Hospital, I'd certainly have gone bankrupt long ago! It's a shame you can't give negative stars; one is way too many.

A true masterpiece of hospital gastronomy! €12.90 for three regular coffees and a latte macchiato – almost a bargain, considering the coffee here is guaranteed to be served with a portion of "living on the edge." But hey, for that price, you almost get the feeling you're sitting in an exclusive café, if you ignore the sterile ambiance and the plastic tables. And the boiled egg for €1.80? Surely a hand-picked, rare egg from happy hens personally cared for by organic experts – there's no other way to explain this price. After 20 minutes, we were already out again. The table had to be "reset." Don't worry, the €12.90 goes through quickly – who wants to sit for long when you're charged so generously? A true highlight for anyone who knows what true gourmet experiences cost.

The service was unfriendly, irritated, and slightly grumpy—in short, unpleasant. The quality of the food I ordered wasn't particularly special. At least, that's how I felt after two hospital stays. I was pleased to read in the reviews here that there's also a public canteen on the first floor as an alternative.

The hospital café offers fresh and delicious food, with filling portions. The service is friendly and fast—the staff is attentive and caring. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant, which is especially important in a place like this. You can feel the genuine effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible. A lovely place to take a short break and recharge!

We were taking a friend for an outpatient appointment and wanted to pass the time with a coffee. 30 seconds after finishing our drink, we were asked if we wanted anything else to eat, otherwise the café wouldn't be considered a hospital lounge area. At 10:15 a.m., there were exactly five customers in the café, who were immediately informed by the staff to vacate their seats after eating. German pop music was playing very loudly in the background. Well, the owner himself would have to decide if that's right. We're going somewhere else for breakfast now.

A great place where you don't even notice you're in the hospital. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. Sandra always has a friendly saying! The shop also offers everything you could possibly need in a hospital. Fresh cake was also offered every day, but unfortunately I didn't try it. But it always looked delicious! :-)

We visited the cafeteria on Tuesday after I had to get another x-ray following my surgery last year. Upon entering, we immediately felt at home; everything was so beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. The owner served us very friendly at our tables and always had a witty saying. Although we only had coffee and a latte, a glance at the blackboard and menu still surprised us. Great deals on hot meals and breakfast, waffles, etc. They even have great ice cream. When I asked the owner if I could take a photo of her cute gnomes, she told me you could also buy smaller ones. I then took a small one for a friend. In summary: great atmosphere, great offers, and great service. We'll definitely be back. I wish she'd been there when I was in the hospital in September 2023; we would have been guests every day.

We were in the hospital as part of a preliminary examination for the operation. We were recommended to have a coffee in the cafeteria every now and then to pass the time. 10 minutes after receiving the two pot (double cup) of coffee, the waitress came and asked us to order something to eat or to vacate our seats. To explain: The cafeteria was empty and at 11:00 it was not yet lunch time. We asked the older lady to think carefully about what she was saying. Invoking house rules does not justify coercion, which constitutes a criminal offense. We will inform KMG. It is not in the interests of the hospital to conclude contracts with such people.

Unfortunately I had to go to the MRI and stopped in the cafeteria. The service, the food freshly prepared and the impression I got was great. We would love to come back and can highly recommend it.

Very unfriendly employee, tone of dealing with hospital patients not appropriate.

The cafe is in the middle of the hospital, but is not part of it. Here you can eat very tasty, especially home-baked cakes. Very nice operator, lovingly designed café with a great concept. Here the sick guest cannot recover, but can briefly immerse himself in a different atmosphere.

So I have to accuse the operator or the employees of the BISTRO at KMG Luckenwalde of behaving in a way that is hostile to disabled people. I wanted to park in the wheelchair parking space, but unfortunately it was occupied by a bistro vehicle, so I parked in the bistro parking lot and was promptly parked by another vehicle from the bistro. When I asked in the bistro I was rudely reprimanded. The public canteen in the KMG on the 1st floor is very friendly and cheap and can only be recommended. From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m I have a disability level of 90

The cafeteria is integrated directly into the Luckenwalde Hospital and offers a wide selection of snacks, newspapers, ice cream and also coffee options. Courteous and friendly service rounds off the visit.

Super tasty food, very friendly service. Can really be recommended. Again any time.
