Café Restaurant Schwarzwaldstube in Schramberg

Well, we've never eaten such...unusual...Kässpatzle. It was pasta with cream sauce and lots of fat. The salad was good, and so was the setting. But the price was too high for the quality. Never again. What a shame.

We were very satisfied. The selection wasn't particularly extensive. However, there was absolutely nothing to complain about with the food, and the service was very friendly and attentive. We felt very comfortable, thank you very much!

Zero stars, and that's still too much. The steak with herb butter looked like it had been cooked and briefly grilled, with no salt or pepper, and tasted like the meat was already overcooked. The pork steak with "gypsy sauce" was the same meat, no seasoning, two crumbs of paprika, and the sauce wasn't even as good as it came out of a packet. The Swiss sausage salad was drenched in vinegar and other miscellaneous ingredients. The only halfway decent food was the cheese spaetzle. I've had better in third-rate train station bars. And for €80, never again. One wonders where the good reviews come from. Actually, one star is too many.

​What a wonderful surprise! We had dinner at this restaurant because we were staying at the residence, and it was a real revelation. The dishes are delicious and taste just like home cooking, the kind that warms your heart. ​The owner is a lovely person, friendly and incredibly kind. Being Italian, it's not always easy for us to communicate in German, but she immediately made us feel comfortable, greeting us with a smile and making us feel so welcome. ​Truly a fantastic experience. Excellent food. It was truly delicious! The price-quality ratio is perfect. It's not too expensive, and you get a huge schnitzel that tastes delicious. The flavors are perfect, and the staff are hardworking and very friendly. They also speak English. I had a wonderful and positive experience here! You don't have to wait for the staff to come to you. They're there right away and automatically come back several times to ask if everything is still to your liking. Eating here is pure enjoyment!

The food and service are really good here! I had the pepper schnitzel, which was delicious as if a proverbial angel were peeing on your tongue! The staff is hard-working, very friendly, and speaks English! I'll definitely eat there again!

Delicious food, super clean environment and excellent service! There's a playground that's perfect for keeping the kids entertained while you dine.

Attention dog owners, dogs are not allowed, supposedly for health reasons. There are no health regulations; it's a personal decision. That's a shame – we would have liked to support you. We'd rather find a dog-friendly restaurant.

We have had a lovely meal with family on the terasse at the Schwarzwaldstube. Service was so helpful and friendly, the food was nicely presented and good portions. We had main course, pudding and several drinks. Would highly recommend.

Good restaurant with delicious food and drinks. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the price-performance ratio is okay.

Unfortunately only Ketterer beer but Rothaus salt and pepper shakers are very good prices are also very good nice staff

Great restaurant and, in my opinion, quite underrated. We've eaten here several times and have always been very impressed with the food. The dishes are varied, the portions are very tasty and generous, and the prices are reasonable and fair. Very friendly and attentive staff. There's a small playground with a football field for children right next to the restaurant, within sight. A great terrace for the summer months and clean restrooms! We'd love to come back!

On the occasion of the fantastic Metalacker Festival in Tennenbronn, our journey naturally led us "Rhinelanders" to a few culinary destinations in the region. This is how we stumbled upon the Schwarzwaldstube. So, in the high temperatures, we first ordered a couple of freshly tapped Ketterer beers (very tasty). And then we moved on to the food. A menu that catered to all our desires. I opted for the steak with a mushroom and pepper sauce, served with spaetzle and salad. The amount of meat was excellent, as was the flavor, and the sauce was a dream. This was accompanied by a generous portion of spaetzle. The salad dressing was also top-notch. The others' schnitzels (see photo) were huge and crispy. We were all thrilled. We also shared this with the owner, who was very friendly. We'd love to come back!

Nice restaurant in the Black Forest with good food.

Were there for dinner. Very tasty food & friendly service. Schnitzel was homemade, it tasted really good. There were a few mushrooms in the Jägerschnitzel. Fries and spaetzle were also really tasty. Free parking a few meters in front of the restaurant.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to give a drink money, but I have to say that the food was delicious, the service was great and the waiting times were very short.

Great food. The schnitzel in particular is a real highlight. Beautiful view of the nature of the Black Forest and very nice service. You feel right at home there. Please note: no dogs allowed, for health reasons.

The only thing that was positive was the rustic atmosphere. It started with my beer, there were some strange chunks in it. I continued with a side salad which I returned because there was a caterpillar in it. To be honest, I wanted to leave the restaurant after that. I gave it another chance. For the main course I ordered a Wiener-style schnitzel with spaetzle and cream sauce. The schnitzel actually only consisted of breading and fat, the fat from the fatty spaetzle was just dripping when I pressed them together and the "cream sauce" had absolutely nothing to do with cream. A consistency like fatty oil and on top of it the fatty eyes winked at me. When the chef cleared away and I told him that it didn't taste good, which was a huge understatement, he just said that he's been cooking it that way for 30 years and no one has ever complained. Sounds very reprehensible, you should be able to accept the criticism (truth) of others and if that's not possible, at least apologize!!! Ps. Everyone at the table felt the same way. Ultimately, the whole physical injury costs the same as in a smart kitchen somewhere. Never again ! I've finished...

Unfortunately, the steak and side dishes for almost 30 euros were without any taste. Sausage salad was tasty but too expensive. But the drinks are actually cheap

Quaint local. Very nice staff. Unfortunately dogs are not welcome. The food was of good quality and seemed homemade without any finished products. Portions were plentiful. Chicken slices with cream sauce and spaetzle are recommended. The schnitzels are large but very thin. 2 adults 2 children, main course, dessert and drinks €95 is fine these days.

Unfortunately, everything has changed here. The prices have risen sharply and the portions (schnitzel) have fallen sharply.

The schnitzels here are superb - thin and crispy and tasty. The sides are very tasty as well. And the beer (Ketterer) is also great. The bar/restaurant is part of a holiday park. There is a nice kids playground next to it

Wir waren hier vor ein paar Tagen nachmittags zum Eisessen und am selben Tag zum Abendessen. Das Eis war eher unterer Durchschnitt, aber vom Preis noch OK. Die "kleinen" Schnitzel mit Pommes und Salat für € 12,80 waren groß und wirklich gut; wer die "große" Schnitzelportion (€ 16,80) schaffen soll (2 große Schnitzel) ist noch verfressener als ich, der mit einem schon fast zu kämpfen hatte. Die Pommes waren auch gut, ebenso der Beilagensalat, der nur etwas Gurke und etwas mehr Tomaten vertragen hätte; auf die Balsamicocreme kann man aus unserer Sicht verzichten, da diese eher den Salat schlechter macht.

Netter freundlicher Service, gutes Bier. Kleine ausreichende Karte. Kein Rindfleisch. Muss aber auch nicht sein. Hatte einen kleinen Schnitzelteller nach Wiener Art mit Pommes und Salatteller. Mein Mann hatte Hausgemachten Schweinebraten mit Spätzle und Pilzsoße. Sehr gut gewürzt, zartes Fleisch. Ausreichende Portion.

Einfaches Ambiente Karte übersichtlich hatte das grosse Schnitzel dünn und gross Geschmacklich und Preislich tipp top .Nette Gastgeber sehr freundlich .

Wir wurden mit unserem sehr großen Hund sehr freundlich empfangen und durften uns an einen ruhigen Ecktisch setzen, damit keiner über den Hund steigen muss. Nach kurzer Wartezeit (die Terrasse war voll) kam auch schon die Wirtin und nahm unsere Bestellungen auf. Die Getränke und das Essen kamen recht zügig. Die zwei Schnitzel passten kaum auf den Teller und mein Salat mit Hähnchenbrust war sehr bunt und sehr gut. Preis - Leistung ist top. Wenn wir es zeitlich schaffen, kommen wir gerne noch einmal. Die mitgenommenen Kuchen haben auch am nächsten Tag noch super lecker geschmeckt. Wir haben vorher einen Tisch reserviert, was auch sinnvoll ist.

Solides Essen, guter Service, aber ein klein wenig in die Jahre gekommen

Wir würden sehr nett empfangen und die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam. Der Schweinebraten (sehr zart und mit einer interessanten Kräuterkruste) in Rahmsoße mit Spätzle war sehr lecker.

Wer gerne Schnitzel mag, der ist hier genau richtig. Dünn, gut paniert und goldgelb knusprig gebraten. Was will man mehr?!

Unglaublich leckere Schnitzel und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Ich freu mich schon aufs nächste Mal

Zunächst das sehr Positive: Durchgehend warme Küche, ordentliche Portionen, gute Schnitzel, gute Pommes und Spätzle. Also fast alles prima bis auf die Soße - die ist leider aus dem Päckle.

Ganzjährig Schlachtplatte, in heißen Monaten aber natürlich ohne Blutwurst. Sonst idt es ein Vesperlokal. Am Wochenende gibt es Svhweinschnitzel und Kassler. Der Wirt gibt sich Mühe mit seinen Gästen und erfreut sie immer mit ein paar trockenen Spässle. Wir geniessen im Sommer die schönen Gartensitzplätze und kommen gerne immer wieder.

We visit the restaurant several times a year and are always cheered by the welcome we receive and the very clean and pleasant surroundings. The current owners have been there since January 2016 and have made it a really lovely place to visit. The menu has a good choice and they do have specials. They are open lunchtimes and evenings most of the year and in the summer months are open all day but its best to check opening times as like most German restaurants they do close one or 2 days a week. They have several outside tables which are adjacent to one of the ferienpark's childrens play areas. They do some lovely cakes for afternoon 'kaffee und kuchen'. You can usually walk in without a booking but during the summer holiday period you might want to book. We thoroughly recommend the Schwarzwaldstube.

Die Schwarzwaldstube liegt am Eingang zum Tennenbronner Feriendorf. Das Essen schmeckt gut und die Portionen sind sehr groß. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und die Preise mehr als angemessen.

Sehr gute Vesperstube in einer traumhaften Lage absolut zum empfehlen und übers Wochenende gibt es auch top Schnitzel dort
