The environment is very nice. The service was very good and friendly, the food was great, especially the stuffed meatballs. It's great in doner kebabs. It really might be the best doner kebab and stuffed meatballs I've had in Germany. I strongly recommend it. 👍🏻

Make a statement!!! During our last stay in Mannheim we had breakfast at Anggus and were completely surprised by the diverse selection of Turkish cuisine. Both starters and full main courses as well as desserts are very tasty and can be highly recommended. We will definitely have to pay another visit the next time we visit Mannheim.

Great, fast service and the food was amazing!! Had steak and lamb and both were very good! Gladly again! We were there on a Sunday around 7 p.m. Since the restaurant is busy, it's a bit busy. If that doesn't bother you (like us), you'll be rewarded with very good food and nice, fast service!

The food is really recommendable, and it's also interesting how this shop is developing into the new Ocakbasi without making it noticeable. Only the portions could be a little larger, otherwise the taste is great.

I had breakfast on Sunday at Anggus Restaurant, which offered an extensive buffet with a wide variety of dishes. There was an impressive selection of baked goods, cheeses, desserts, appetizers and much more. Even though the restaurant was completely full, I was very impressed by the variety of dishes and the quick service. The employees always refilled the dishes quickly as soon as they were almost empty. A truly recommended experience!

A portion of mixed grill cost 27.99 euros and the paste in it looked like it was just tomato paste, the peppers and tomatoes on the plate were cold, the kebab meat was also cold.. and as a result I wanted a tea and 2 euros paid for it, the service was not appropriate for the price, I was not satisfied.

Dear Angus team, I visited you for the first time today during my lunch break. I had great expectations and was very disappointed. I had soup as a starter and then a Karisik grill plate. Salad and meat quality were really poor! The meat was on the grill too short (chicken) or too long (lamb) and definitely not fresh. Overall it was just bad! The service was a bright spot! I hope you don't take my criticism personally, but seriously and deal with it so that other guests don't feel the same way! VG S.K.

Insanely delicious food. Great service. Very well attended, hardly a table remained empty for more than a minute and yet everything was perfect. The waitress was always there if the drink was empty or if you wanted to make another request. It was like telepathy. A huge respect for everyone involved. Toilets clean, outside area clean. Freshly prepared, which you could clearly taste. Not cheap but absolutely worth it. Thank you for the lovely evening. Unfortunately, the pictures don't really capture what the eye was able to experience. There were 22 of us and everyone was 100% satisfied.

The restaurant is extremely busy, but the service is very fast, the food is high quality and good - we'll be back again.

The restaurant is beautifully done The ambience, the music in the background makes you feel comfortable. We were there on Saturday and the restaurant was full, but everything went really quickly. The lokum I ordered tasted good but the pieces of meat for lokum were very thick. The prices for the portions are also too high.

Doner was just ok. Starter -1, why minus one: bread hard and dry and with it there was a salad, if you can call it that, a fat cucumber otherwise just lettuce leaves with a sauce that doesn't go with it. Normally you get at least 2 dips if you order a plate at any other kebab restaurant. Fries were lukewarm. Never again

It really is by far the best Turkish restaurant in Mannheim and the surrounding area. Today I'm surprised again how good the mezze plate tastes here. I've already been won over by the grilled dishes and the kebab. Despite high frequency, very good service and quality is offered 👏🏻👏🏻

If you can make room for six people when the store is full without any fuss, that's the sixth star for service, which was already very friendly and accommodating. And quickly. Class. Food just as excellent. Starter platter with various dips and salads, with flat bread. All main courses were great. Can recommend beef and lamb, chicken was also praised. Desserts too, these are typically very sweet. All drinks are non-alcoholic. The community of Turkish origin also eats there: a sign of quality.

Both of them were unfriendly, we got the wrong food and we didn't get a new one when we requested it twice, the food was ok.

Apparently wheelchair users are not welcome here. This was also confirmed to us when we asked whether this was the case. Beforehand, no one wanted to explain the menu to us or otherwise help us order. Sorry, not everyone knows Turkish cuisine. And when someone asks for help, decency dictates that they help... Especially in the catering industry. We have never been treated so stubbornly and unempatheticly before. We're out and we're never going there again.

I went on recommendation. How can it be that the quality of the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant are so far apart? I can't say the service is too bad, but there is something wrong. The waiters also don't seem to understand the contradictory prices and contents on the menu. Iskender had a lot of tomato paste and very little butter. Plus, I've eaten in so many restaurants in Germany that I've never seen such small portions. As a foodie, I went home hungry, unsatisfied and unhappy. Last time, before I left the place, I realized that I was just idly eating bread.

We had dinner at Anggus Restaurant 3 hours ago today, with 2 adults and 3 children. The queue in front of the restaurant was long, like everyone else's, but we got there quickly. We ordered Anggus Karisik, Pirzola, Lokum Steak and Cheeseburger. The burger was truly the best burger I have ever eaten. Previously also at Medina Steackhouse but the Anggus Cheeseburger is on top. The other dishes were also very tasty, although we really enjoyed the Anggus kebab meat. The service team was very friendly, everything was perfect. A big thank you to the team and especially Ramazan Usta from the kitchen. Ellerine sağlık! We definitely recommend it and will come more often.

Best kelle paca for my taste with lemon and green pepper and optionally with garlic really tasty. 😊 Also for the German palate, just try it. Breakfast buffet - fruit/vegetables/warm/cold dishes. If you like Turkish cuisine, you've come to the right place, I'd love to visit you. The food is always fresh, it tastes delicious and it is varied. The employees are friendly. Toilets are clean. A little tip if you want more than 5 people to come to the breakfast buffet you should make a reservation on the weekend, it is always full.

After a walk through the city, we wanted to take a break and strengthen ourselves. This restaurant is nicely decorated and very cozy. Large photos of dishes helped us find the right dish from a wide selection. We liked it very much.

The salad for starters had a yellow sauce, which I didn’t like. It would be better if the waiter had asked before putting it on the salad. I ordered a mixed meal with Adana kebap and chicken. Well the price was 17,90 Euros but I was disappointed when I saw rather small 4-5 pieces of chicken. And the Adana kebap was small in amount too. It tasted good but one should feel somewhat full when 20 Euros are paid, including drinks. My opinion is, if the meat is that expensive, increase the price, but do not keep the portion that small.

We visited the Anggus restaurant in Mannheim in the evening after 10:00 p.m. as we had traveled from Frankfurt. It was pleasantly quiet at this late hour and the ambience felt modern, clean and luxurious - perfect for a relaxed dinner. Our food choices included Spinach Pide, İskender Kebab, Üçü Bir Arada, Adana and Chicken Mix, and İçli Köfte. The taste of the dishes was excellent and everyone in our group was more than happy with their choice. Anggus impresses with authentic flavors and a noble atmosphere - absolutely recommended!

Hello, I was there for the first time today and I was disappointed. There was only a little salad in front of us, but the food wasn't bad but there was very little on the plate!!! After the meal was finished I asked for Turkish tea...he told me it costs extra!!! It's a bit pathetic that you spend almost 100 euros and don't even get a small tea as a thank you. It's a shame I won't go there again and won't recommend it to others.

The ambience was the best. Waited over 40 minutes for 2 İskender and a small kebab plate, that on a Monday. When you ask why it's taking so long, you're lied to, even though the neighboring tables are served similar dishes. I'm told that a new skewer of meat was put on the grill. Salad came after the main course which was completely unnecessary and the meat on the children's plate was very dry and chopped into small pieces. The portion at İskender was very small for me, no fried peppers etc. I will avoid this location.

It looks nice and is always quite full, but the food wasn't as good as it seemed. At the beginning when we were queuing one employee was very rude. We told him how much we were, then he just made the “whatever” gesture and ignored us. In addition, the food was very bad and mostly undercooked.

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. As soon as my plate was empty, it was immediately taken away, even though I was still busy with my drink. It seems like the staff was in a hurry as there were already people waiting outside. This meant I didn't have the opportunity to enjoy my meal in peace. It was also extremely loud, making any conversation impossible. All in all, I felt rushed and couldn't really enjoy the atmosphere.

Went there with my GF and her friend, arrived 10 min late due to city traffic and parking and our table was already given away (Even though they had our number and could have called to ask where we were)...?!?!?! Got a "Free" appetizer salad with old salad leaves :( We all had the Shrimp appetizer and for €16,90 I can make a 10 time better Shrimp Salad/platter. My friend had to wait 20 min for his drink (Twice!!) and we had to ask 2 separate waiters both times. I had a recommendation from someone who worked there (He was interviewing people with a female co worker), some kind of Dönner Spezial, it looked terrible when it came out and tasted even worse. The food was constantly being photographed by someone when we came out, so we could not even enjoy it, it was cold outside on the terrace as the heaters outside are sooo weak they wouldn't even heat up an ice cube. The worst part; €155 for 3 shrimp salads, 3 main courses (Nothing special), 4 water, 1 Coke & 1 Mezzo Mix!!! The atmosphere was nice at first but even that was spoilt with the beggars that come DIRECTLY to your table or annoying "Rose sellers", when I go to a restaurant to eat & drink I want to ENJOY my food & drink. Plenty 1 or 2 Star reviews and no comments from management; clearly think they do not need criticism and do not care what customers think (or say). Never again!

Very nice staff! We chose a table outside because there was no room inside. You could definitely do something aesthetically pleasing outside! My husband and I ordered Adana kebab for the first time and my mom ordered penne with chicken. The penne was really delicious, very satisfied. Unfortunately the kebab smelled very unpleasantly of a sheepfold, which made it inedible. So lamb isn't really my thing after all... Still delicious food and super nice staff!

Food arrived within 10 minutes in a relatively full shop, service was top, as was the food. Food came so quickly that I couldn't even finish the black tea that was offered to me in that short amount of time.

Was here for the first and last time. Steak was ordered well done, but it was anything but well done. The steak was more fat than meat. Fries were old and cold. We then got fresh fries. Portions are far too small for the prices charged.

The food was probably reheated in the microwave...as it was lukewarm. But köpüklü ayran was great for that 1 star, I love ayran, ayran on the 1, yeah. & not to forget the meal was served without sauce with a dry salad, some dressing and a thick slice of cucumber (:. The journey from Stuttgart wasn't worth it to go back there when you're in Mannheim. Make friends and don't eat there, you can get better food for the price elsewhere 👍🏽

The food quality went so bad. When this place opened it was really good. When they changed the staff everything went in the wrong direction. The portions became so small (meat/chicken piece), the quality went bad, and the service wasn't good anymore, plus they raised their prices significantly.

Adana was terrible (lots of hard parts) not edible. Chicken was red and undercooked… we weren't happy. Never again.

I was there with a group of 10 people. The food was okay, the service was friendly. However, no alcoholic drinks, not even a non-alcoholic beer, could be ordered. It was argued that there would be no concession for this. When asked, it was admitted that the boss didn't want that. It felt strange to me that I was being forced to convert by the innkeeper. The soft drinks were served in bottles with plastic tubes. As far as I know, this is now banned in the EU. Very strange. Too bad. Will not visit this restaurant again. Norbert

I went to Anggus with my family for the first time yesterday. The atmosphere and service were extremely nice and friendly. The doner kebabs and kebabs were especially good. The soup could have been a little hotter, but the taste and the fresh pita that came with it were impressive. It's a nice restaurant that I can easily recommend to those who come to Mannheim. The food is excellent, but the price is definitely too high compared to other halal steakhouses. This may be due to the location on the market square. The service depends on the respective operation. We were unlucky that day because the young man was very inattentive. My daughter was almost finished eating when I first got my food. Unfortunately the drinks also took a while. The ambience suffers outside due to some rude guests. Even though a restaurant says "customer is king", you should discourage some guests. Otherwise the quality is absolutely top notch.

The waiters are all very nice and helpful. The restaurant is more reminiscent of a fast food restaurant, too loud and chaotic. The food (soup and grilled plate) came to the table cold and was far too seasoned for my taste. All in all, way too expensive for what you get. More appearance than reality. I wouldn't come again.

Disgrace On October 5, 2024, around 17.00, after waiting outside for 1 hour, the doner orders did not arrive, and then they were forced to leave the table without eating anything, with the excuse that the doner was new. It was very sad that I had to leave this place, which I came to on recommendation, with great disappointment and inexperience.

The kebab meat was incredibly tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned and with a great grilled taste. You can immediately tell that high-quality ingredients are used here. The selection of fresh vegetables and the different sauces were also great. I opted for the hot sauce which gave the whole thing a perfect kick! The portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is more than fair. The service was friendly and quick, which made the whole thing even more enjoyable. The ambience in the store is modern and inviting - perfect for enjoying a quick meal. I can only warmly recommend Anggus if you are in Mannheim and want really good kebab meat. This is what it means: The service was sublime. The toilet door hasn't been oiled in years. The people who came after us got their food before us (by the way, their food was the same as ours). The rude waiter didn't even pay attention to it even though we said it three times.

The kitchen is beyond magnificent in terms of taste, it is as if it is competing for the top place in international competitions... If the service staff were not all smiling, not a single one, and the managers who shout despotic orders without caring about the presence of the customers... Hello zsm, I had dinner there today with my family and a friend. There was neither soda nor bread with the meal, which is not usual in a 5 star restaurant. You can write a book about the service, the food came a little too late and was too late. There was also a hefty bill of €250 for 4 soups, 1 fries (for children), 4 drinks and a meat plate for 2 people. If you love your wallet, cook at home.

We were here for the first time today and we were definitely disappointed! The food was cold and the portions were way too expensive for the price!! The taste and quality of the food was still good, but unfortunately we won't be coming back...
