Everything is perfect and fresh. They're always making fake reviews. It's the busiest place in Mannheim; if it were bad, it wouldn't get this many visitors. The Adana doner, lahmacun, and saç kavurma are real; everything is good. Thank you for your efforts.

We had breakfast the other day, I already noticed there that nothing was right with the cheese, sucuk, soy sauce, etc. Nothing was fresh. On the way back, in Lampertheim, right in the middle of the highway, we all vomited and ended up in the hospital. We had a real case of food poisoning. Afterwards, we heard from many people that the same thing had happened to them, and not many people go there anymore. Well, tough luck... Luckily, I didn't have my child with me that day.

Very delicious. I can highly recommend it. The food arrived at the table incredibly quickly, despite the restaurant being packed. All in all, highly recommended.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening at Anggus! You can immediately tell that they put their heart and soul into their work. I'd especially like to commend the staff – such attentiveness and warmth are rare. The food was divine. We ate here on December 27th, a couple, and ordered an appetizer platter and two doner kebab plates, as the meat had been so highly praised. The appetizer platter and bread were okay, hence the two stars. The doner meat was cut into small, lumpy pieces and was partly still raw. My wife barely touched her plate. When we pointed this out to the waiter, he reacted irritably. There was no apology or replacement. We paid and will never set foot in this place again. Haram olsun. The ambiance is like a train station waiting room. They should focus on quality, not quantity.

The restaurant's ambiance is generally okay... but my food wasn't okay... the meat was too tough, the onions tasted like they'd been in the fridge, and the rice wasn't typical Turkish fare... except for the bread, which was good and fresh! The salad was very basic, with no cucumber or tomato, just a bit of green... way too expensive for the price! I've never had such a bad doner kebab plate in a long time, and my companion also thought it was bad! We paid for it, including the tip. But we won't be coming back. Sorry.

The doner meat is veal, but it's a bit too fatty for my taste, though of course that's a matter of personal preference. At least it's better than minced meat. The ayran was very tasty. Mass catering. When you come to Mannheim, you expect authentic Turkish cuisine and Turkish hospitality. The staff is hectic, but they still do their job really well. However, Anggus Restaurant is so overcrowded that the focus is clearly on speedy service so that the next customers can arrive as soon as a table becomes empty. The food is tasty, but average. Almost like in any other Turkish restaurant. The only downside is the side salad, which is an outrage—a dry, tasteless salad. There's no need to travel to Mannheim for this; Anggus Restaurant isn't that special, even if the location looks nice.

We visited Anggus for the first time today and were extremely satisfied. Sure, it was packed and there was a wait, but the service was excellent. We ordered burgers and a mixed grill, and everything was delicious. Compared to other restaurants in Mannheim, we were pleasantly surprised. Yes, our burgers came before the mixed grill, but that's to be expected – the place was absolutely packed on a weekend. We'll definitely be back.

I went there for breakfast today, but it was a complete disaster. From the outside, it looks like a nice place, but the breakfast was cold, the hot items were stale and they burned them while heating, the pita breads were also stale, dry and burnt. Even one star is too much. It's pathetic that such a nice place is run like this. Don't waste your money and don't go there.

Unfortunately, it was the worst künefe I've ever eaten. There was almost no cheese, and it wasn't melted; the taste was nothing like künefe. When we sent it back, the owner's reaction was quite argumentative. I don't think I'll order from here again.

There was a hair in the food. When we pointed it out to the waiter, he took the food back without apologizing or offering to bring a replacement. When we went to pay, we spoke to a different waiter, who again offered no apology and claimed he hadn't seen it. We didn't care at all, so he reluctantly removed the dish from the bill. From the outside, the decor and ambiance look nice. However, upon closer inspection, it's cheap and poorly made.

I was here on December 13, 2025. The service was awful and very unfriendly. The food was cold and arrived after only two minutes, so it was clearly not fresh. After a few hours, my friends and I had severe stomach problems. One of my friends even had to go to the hospital at 4 a.m. The staff pressured us to eat quickly and leave the restaurant immediately. Good meat and breakfast, but a bit noisy.

We've eaten here several times before, but on our last visit I was very annoyed by the service, which seemed solely focused on profit rather than customer service. A family of five was sitting next to us. After their meal, they wanted to have tea. The waiter told them that coffee and dessert were available for after-dinner, and that they would have to drink their tea outside because other guests were waiting. The family had already spent over €100, only to be shown the door. The audacity of it was that after the family got up, the waiter at our table laughed at the situation and even offered words of encouragement. I work in the restaurant industry and made it clear to him that he had acted completely inappropriately. He justified his actions by saying that other guests were waiting for a free table. So what? Just rush them out, take their money, and say goodbye? The concept of "customer is king" is clearly not upheld here. Furthermore, the atmosphere is like a cafeteria/canteen – very loud and hectic. When I go to a restaurant, I prefer a pleasant atmosphere and a peaceful dining experience. I certainly wasn't going to pay money to be asked to leave and then have the people at the next table make fun of me for it. There was no morality or ethics whatsoever; I was appalled by this behavior!

We were at Anggus Mannheim on Saturday, and the food was, as always, absolutely top-notch – delicious, fairly priced, and actually a place where you'd want to enjoy a high-quality meal with your family in peace. However, one major disturbance completely overshadowed our visit: A blonde woman, soliciting Milli Piyango (lottery), not only wandered around the entrance but also came directly into the restaurant, approached guests during their meals, and thus disrupted the entire atmosphere. Even though we clearly stated at the entrance that we weren't interested, we were harassed again – my father, my father-in-law, and I were practically bombarded with her sales pitch. This simply feels disrespectful to families. The most unpleasant moment was when she said the word "çirkin" (a derogatory term for a woman) to my daughter. Even if she didn't mean any harm: That's not a word we want to hear our child say, and it definitely doesn't belong in a family-friendly restaurant. For a restaurant as popular as this, this behavior is extremely off-putting. And frankly, something like this makes the place unacceptable for us. If this happens again, we won't be returning – and we will, of course, share our experience with our friends and family. It's a real shame, because the food is truly excellent. Without these repeated disturbances, it would have been a clear 5 stars.

Based on a recommendation, we went to Anggus on November 25, 2025. We ordered two cheeseburgers with one order of fries. One water and one Spezi (a German soft drink). What we received were two burgers made from pre-made ingredients. Specifically, one sliced ​​fluffy bun and a pressed, sinewy meatball. The drinks were in bottles with straws. Oh well. Only the fries were okay. So, not a good recommendation.

It arrived piping hot. It was piping hot and steaming. We were very pleased. There was a long line out the door. We wanted to sit outside, so we found a seat and sat down. However, most people were waiting inside, and because they were crowded, they formed a line out the door. We went on a weekend, so there's definitely a difference compared to a weekday.

WE WERE FIRED!!! We went for dinner as a group of 3, and we paid 100 euros for 3 appetizers, salad, drinks, and a main course. When we wanted to have tea after the meal, there were people waiting in line, and they said they had no tea or coffee left, and practically told us to go... We couldn't even sit for 1 hour in total. The automatically served salad was tiny and unappealing. It's clear that quantity takes precedence over quality here. Overall, the food was okay, but disappointing for the price. Definitely not a restaurant I'd visit regularly.

I ate here last night with my girlfriend. We had a mixed appetizer platter, a steak with grilled vegetables, and a salad with grilled chicken. The service was very attentive and friendly. We were frequently asked if we needed anything or if there was anything else we could get. Truly hospitable and welcoming. The food arrived hot and freshly prepared. Everything was perfectly seasoned. We were also constantly offered fresh bread. Excellent food! We were practically standing in the courtyard and spontaneously decided on this restaurant. You could already see from the outside that the place was busy. We chose it because it looked the most inviting. At the table, we sat on well-cushioned, soft chairs. Regarding the noise level mentioned: I like it when it's a bit busier and you can actually live and laugh. In summary, I can say that I would definitely come back and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Thank you and see you next time :)

I told my friend, "Come, let me buy you a döner kebab." I wish I hadn't. I paid 30.20€ for 2 döner kebabs in bread, 2 open ayrans, and 2 teas. The döner kebab was delicious, but it's not normal for it to be this expensive. I felt ripped off, like I was in Türkiye. It's not normal for it to be this expensive.

Since we're not from Mannheim, I asked if he could do something about the bill. He was accommodating and gave us a €50 discount, which we at least thought was fair – but unfortunately, it doesn't change the overall disappointing experience.

I had sac kavurma, and the fat wasn't even cooked through. It was everything, but it wasn't saç kavurma.
