Went there for the first time today. The location is simply fantastic. However, when ordering, you will be informed that payment can only be made in cash and only in advance. When I kindly pointed out to the waitress after using the toilet that there was no towel paper in either toilet, I was unkindly informed that the person in charge wouldn't come until 1:00 p.m. It was just 11:00 a.m. For us, this is absolutely a reason not to visit this restaurant again.

So the location and the view are really great, the ice cream was ok. The service was unfriendly. Not even a greeting. When you order, the amount you have to pay comes straight away. Other guests were not welcomed either. People were complaining about their bikes, friendliness was a foreign word.

I am absolutely disappointed with my visit to this ice cream parlor. The service was simply catastrophic. No effort was made to provide customers with the best possible service. The service was not only unfriendly, but downright rude. I found it particularly annoying that my children's drinks were not allowed to remain on the table, as this was supposedly against the house rules. In children? That's just ridiculous. Of course, when I wanted to speak to the boss, he wasn't there and my request for his number was simply ignored. And the prices? An ice cream scoop for €2.70? This is simply outrageous. If I had known this beforehand, I would never have bought ice cream there. That was definitely my last visit to this ice cream parlor. I wish you much success with your employees, who obviously have no idea what good customer service is. I strongly recommend offering training here.

We wanted to have a coffee here, but the staff (owner?) shouted at us in an incredibly rude manner, asking us to go to the toilet without telling us because we weren't customers. Anyone who treats their guests like this shouldn't work in the catering industry, let alone run a restaurant. I wouldn't eat/drink anything here again even for free.

Was there yesterday and the older lady came twice within less than 5 minutes and urged us to order!! We couldn't even look in peace! It's not possible to collect money first and then eat. This is not common in the catering industry! Very unsympathetic waiters, it definitely needs to be restructured there! Was the first and last time!!!!!

I actually like the ambience in the ice cream parlor, but I also have to say that the service is terrible. The staff seems quite overwhelmed, especially since two young men were there to get trained. In my opinion, they were just chased back and forth. Orders were forgotten so we had to remember twice that something was ordered. I don't think it's a bad thing that you have to pay in advance, as there were certainly customers who went to pens. However, card payment would be good and a sensible organization for orders would be good. This is how you keep your customers.

We were there today (Sunday), the weather was good, the first thing we did was wait a long time for someone to serve us and the worst came now - we were simply deducted in terms of money. The waiter gave us a flat rate of 50 euros. We were overwhelmed and thought that might be true since there were 5 of us, but none of us had ice cream sundaes for 10 euros!!! Especially since we had a children's cup. An absolute disgrace, no invoice, no card payment!!! Pure rip off!! Then go to the other ice cream parlor in the direction of the water station. Pure cheek, this is how you scare away customers!!!!

I was just sitting here when my children came with pizza in hand and they were asked not to eat at the table but somewhere else. My children did that too, rightly so. But then another staff member came back and said very rudely that this is not allowed in Germany, even though my children were already eating somewhere else. Under my supervision, my little son went to the Eisbar restaurant to get a lolly, then the unfriendly employee came back and said that children are not allowed to shop and said so loudly that all visitors heard it. It was a very embarrassing event for you. Once and never again.

She basically stood up in front of me and accused me of calling her a liar. Given the milky color of the ice cream flavor and the waitress's curt response, I felt it was completely justified to ask a less stressed-looking person whether there really was no milk in it. My family and I were shocked by this impossible service and will definitely not come back.

If only I had looked at the reviews before my visit... Milk is apparently diluted with water here, otherwise I can't imagine the watery taste of the Latte Machiato I ordered and the 3.5% "milk" that was provided to me as a sample cannot explain (even a decaffeinated latte does NOT taste like that!). There was no response from the waitress, such as a new drink or money back. The experience reports here speak for themselves. Once and never again. In hindsight, it's no wonder that you get charged straight away when you order, before you even have anything on the table.

The location is the best thing about the ice cream parlor. I was there last fall. You have to pay in advance. We were there about an hour before sunset. My companion and I actually wanted to leave before sunset because it was getting quite cool. Since our ice cream sundaes still hadn't arrived after an hour (!), we realized why we had to pay in advance. Otherwise we would have left a long time ago. Ich kann mich den vorherigen Bewertungen nicht anschließen. Ich habe zum mitnehmen bestellt, aber auch vor Ort hätte es mich nicht gestört, vorher zu bezahlen. Dass nur Barzahlung möglich ist, finde ich heutzutage auch sehr ungünstig. Ich hab es zu spät gesehen und hatte zu wenig Bargeld dabei…allerdings durfte ich das Restgeld ohne Probleme später bringen. Habe dann nochmal zwei Eis mitgenommen. Die Bedienung war beide Male sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Eis schmeckte hervorragend!

Wir bestellten Eis und waren zufrieden damit, dass unsere Bestellung relativ schnell serviert wurde. Das Eis selbst war in Ordnung und schmeckte ganz gut. Allerdings waren wir sehr enttäuscht von der Tatsache, dass das Café eine Vorkasse nach der Bestellung verlangte. Dies ist unüblich und für uns unerhört. Es ist für uns selbstverständlich, dass man die Rechnung nach dem Verzehr begleicht und eine solche Vorauszahlung stellt für uns eine unangenehme Erfahrung dar. Diese Art des Zahlungssystems hat unseren Besuch im Café Eisbar getrübt und wir sind der Meinung, dass dies so nicht akzeptabel ist. Kunden sollten die Möglichkeit haben, ihre Bestellung abzuschließen und dann gemäß den gängigen Zahlungsmethoden zu bezahlen. Obwohl das Eis und der Blick auf die Ruhr in Ordnung war, können wir aufgrund dieser negativen Erfahrung nicht wirklich empfehlen, das Café Eisbar in Mülheim an der Ruhr zu besuchen. Wir hoffen, dass das Café in Zukunft seine Zahlungspolitik überdenkt, um seinen Kunden ein angenehmeres Erlebnis zu bieten.

It was already clear to me beforehand that you don't have to have high expectations here. But if chicken smells like fish and has a consistency like egg white, then something is definitely wrong. After complaining, the money was thrown on the counter and I was told “never come back”. People….leave it alone. Food poisoning is included in the price here.

I've been ordering through Lieferando for a while and the delivery has always taken longer than stated. So far it's always worked great with Uber. You can rarely reach anyone by phone. The food always tastes great.

Am 16.01 wollte ich meine Freundin zum Geburtstagsessen überraschen da Sie unbedingt die seefoodbags probieren möchte . Wir sind extra aus Dortmund angereist bis nach mühlheim um uns eine Stunde vor Reservierung noch einmal erinnern zu lassen von diesem Restaurant das wir auch nicht zu spät kommen sollen und unsere Reservierung um 19 Uhr nicht vergessen sollen . Wir sind kurz vor 19 Uhr vor geschlossener Tür angetroffen mit einem Schild > heute bis Freitag den 19.01 geschlossen . Nirgendwo ob es Google war oder instagram hat dieses Restaurant dies mitgeteilt . Anfang Januar als es wohl einen Einbruch gab hat man wenigstens auf instagram den Vorabend gekostet das am folgetag geschlossen sei. So wäre es auch in Ordnung gewesen , aber es wurde nirgendwo geschrieben das der Laden zu hat . Die weite Anreise war mehr wie ärgerlich zu dem stand ich wie ein depp vor der Tür um meiner freundin an ihrem Geburtstag sagen zu müssen das sie heute doch nicht ihre seefoofbag bekommt . Auf Emails hat dieses Restaurant bis heute nicht geantwortet ... absolut nicht zu empfehlen außer man steht auf wundertüten und schlechten bis garkeinen Service!

After we heard that a new chef was “on board”, we wanted to eat something delicious... Unfortunately, that was a failure. I had roulade with savoy cabbage and puree, I have never had such a bland and tasteless meal. My husband had roast beef with mayo and fried potatoes, he was satisfied, but it could have been a larger portion of fried potatoes. Conclusion: We won't be coming back!!!!
