The waitress was very, very unfriendly and she didn't have a name and I wouldn't reveal it either With such an unfriendly face and statements you don't have to be surprised if there is a hail of criticism. The operations manager would listen to the criticism and quickly eliminate it either the operations manager was no longer interested or there was a new operations manager there But I haven't seen it yet otherwise I would have expressed my displeasure. He should get the service under control quickly otherwise more guests will stay away. I will try my luck in the Alm in the future. The food at Cafe del Sol is very good, spicy and tasty. The prices are mostly okay. The prices for the drinks, however, can only be described as a rip-off. Small amounts of fruit juice almost reach double-digit amounts. Additionally, because the service was extremely slow on our last visit (they took almost our entire visit for a scoop of strawberry ice cream), it was our last visit there for a long time.

Were there this Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., ate loaded fries avocado chicken, drank Aperol and white wine. First there were terrace seats, then we moved inside because it was getting cold. We were served very warmly by Joline and Shilah, and our special requests were fulfilled immediately. We had a wonderful evening with friends and felt completely at home. Thank you to the kitchen and service, you did a great job.

We thoroughly enjoyed a very delicious brunch. We enjoyed spending 5 hours there in good company. Price/performance ratio was perfectly fine, although drinks have to be paid additionally.

The food and drinks (spritzers and iced teas) were really delicious. The teriyaki ribs are always a pleasure, the seasonal pulled turkey burger tasted great and the curry bowl was also great. Unfortunately, the staff was very understaffed, which was noticeable because we waited a long time before we were even served. We had almost 30 minutes for our drinks and a total of an hour for our food. But the service was very, very nice, courteous and helpful. We just wish that when we made our reservation by phone a few hours beforehand or when we walked into the store, we had been informed of the staff shortage and/or possible wait times. Hence the one star deduction.

Really well suited to enjoy a cozy meal on the open terrace on sunny afternoons with a suitable meal with friendly service and subtle background sound. But even in the cooler season you can have a good time in larger groups with original dishes at reasonable prices.

He thought I wouldn't notice. Then yes, they said BBQ and Maybe I'm as accurate as I was on the first try or something. That was my first visit but also my last and I will not recommend this restaurant to other customers in my circle of friends. Here it is not the customer who is the king but the service...

I was very disappointed with my visit to this cafe. Although I have visited many cafes and restaurants, I have experienced the worst service here. I saw two waiters outside, but the blonde waiter with glasses was hard to find. I had to go in to place an order. Finally another waiter came, but the table was dirty. The food wasn't delivered either so I had to run in again. When the order was brought by a waitress, it was wrong: instead of sweet potato fries, we received regular fries, and there were no cutlery or napkins, which I had to fetch myself. What was particularly annoying was that the guacamole dip was spoiled. My stay at this restaurant was very disappointing. Instead of enjoying my stay, I had to deal with poor service and incorrect orders. It would be desirable if the management hired more staff and paid attention to the quality of the food. I had imagined my visit differently and unfortunately I cannot recommend this café.

Unfortunately, my visit to Café del Sol was anything but satisfactory. As soon as I arrived on Sunday morning, I noticed that the service was extremely moody. The service seemed irritable and unmotivated, which made the start of the day in this café an unpleasant experience. The meal itself was a bitter disappointment. The dish I ordered was literally drowned in oil. There is hardly a dish in the world that requires so much oil, especially not for a simple vegetable platter. The excessive oil made the food almost inedible and left an unpleasant impression. You quickly realize that you took a wrong turn here. All in all, the visit was very disappointing and I cannot recommend Café del Sol. If you're looking for good food and friendly service, you've definitely come to the wrong place.

Wir sind am Sonntag mit 15 Personen inklusive zwei Kinder im Café del Sol gewesen zum Frühstücken. Die von uns am Computer reservierten Plätze, wir hatten einen Rollstuhlfahrer dabei, waren nicht reserviert oder zusammengestellt. Als wir fragten ob man das jetzt nachholen könnte wurde uns gesagt wir sollten uns doch so hinsetzen so könnte man ja schließlich auch frühstücken. Es handelte sich um ein Frühstück zu einem 50 Geburtstag wo man mit Sicherheit nicht immer an Vierer Tischen sitzen möchte und sich nicht mal unterhalten kann. Der Fußboden war spiegelglatt, so dass ein Kind fiel und unsere älteren Gäste es nicht ohne Hilfe bis ans Buffet schaften. Die Bedienung war freundlich aber Getränke dauerten bis zu 25 Minuten so dass der bestellte Kaffee leider auch schon kalt war. Auf Nachfrage ob ich vielleicht eine etwas größere Schale für den Blattsalat haben könnte,wurde mir erklärt das es nicht ginge. Es so sei weil viele ihr essen nicht aufessen würden. Ich denke das es möglich gewesen wäre. Das Buffet wurde nicht nachgefüllt so dass viele Sachen wie zum Beispiel Nachtisch, Stuten oder Rührei nicht zur Verfügung standen. Teller wurden nicht abgeräumt und es war an Tischen recht eng.

After a short time there were no more desserts, mares or scrambled eggs available. I asked for a slightly larger bowl for the leaf salad, but was told that I wouldn't get one because other guests wouldn't finish their plates. The people were otherwise nice, but drinks took almost 25 minutes and tables weren't cleared. All in all, I wouldn't go there for breakfast again. It's a shame that you weren't happy with the money you left there

A restaurant has never become better by raising prices while decreasing service. Not much is right at the moment. €20 per person for a brunch that doesn't include a single drink, combined with super inattentive service, leaves you with a really bad feeling when paying. The condition of the guest toilets? Simply disgusting and dirty. It used to be good there, but unfortunately it was far too long ago.

We really enjoyed being here. But today we were so disappointed. The table we chose was very dirty, so we asked for it to be cleaned first. Which was also done very quickly. The toilets are underground. No toilet paper, it smelled really bad there. Very dirty and disgusting. Actually, I no longer had any appetite. But my husband was so excited for the schnitzel. The joy didn't last long. Schnitzel is a totally overpriced frozen product for us. Small portions, carelessly brought to the plate. My fries with falafel were OK. But also not a highlight to come back to. A pity.

Sometimes I would have liked to drink more. The food is ok but I think it's too expensive. I rarely go here. Visually, I think it's great here.

This was also delivered quickly. My falafel fries were attractively presented and very tasty. The other dishes also looked good. None of us had anything to complain about about our food. Regarding the toilets: they were clean, but the faucet in the men's toilet is very dilapidated and should at least be screwed tight. All in all: definitely recommended. And enough space for a larger group, even spontaneously. You could also sit outside, which is certainly very chilling when the sun is shining. However, the weather wasn't suitable for that today.

Two weeks ago we visited the Café del Sol in Mönchengladbach Wickrath. The atmosphere is undoubtedly very nice and pleasant. Unfortunately, we found that little emphasis was placed on hygiene. Firstly, our food was touched by the waitress with her bare hand. When a chip fell on the table, she picked it up with her fingers and put it back on the plate (we observed it ourselves). Unfortunately, the children's chairs are also very dirty. Furthermore, we were there at lunchtime and the restaurant was almost empty. The service times and waiting times for the food were still extraordinarily long. Unfortunately, in our opinion, the food is overpriced. The schnitzel was tough and anything but high quality. Plus fries, salad and hollandaise sauce. I think 20 euros for the poor quality is way too much… So we won't go there again. A pity.

Das Eis ist absolutes Billigeis. Beim Frühstück vor einiger Zeit waren 2 Brötchen innen noch gefroren. Bedienung füllte sich förmlich belästigt über die Beschwerde. Keine neuen Brötchen, angeschnittenen wurden einfach nochmal aufgebacken. Reicht

We were there for the first time. 2 x burgers, 1 x with fries, 1 x with sweet potato fries. The burgers were great and very well seasoned. Both types of fries were by far the best we've had in a long time. The creme brulee for dessert was also excellent.

My husband and I recently visited Café del Sol and were unfortunately very disappointed. Although we enjoyed visiting the restaurant before, this time we were confronted with an unfriendly waiter. As usual, my husband ordered a pizza without tomato sauce due to his allergy to tomatoes. Normally the pizza is generously topped with cheese, but this time the amount of cheese was very limited, which resulted in the taste being rather dry and the dough being tough. When my husband brought this up to the waiter, he was told that additional cheese was available at an additional cost, which led to an inappropriate discussion. We felt disrespected and it seemed like we had to beg for proper treatment. We ended up paying for our meal but were disappointed by the disrespectful behavior of the waiter. Although the place itself is nice, we will not be returning due to this poor service experience.
