Very nice there. The atmosphere is very great. The staff very accommodating. As we sat outside, the waiter came with blankets. Great again and again 👍 I'm just here again. Such great staff. As soon as we got to the table someone came. Really great here. Like vacation.

Went there for breakfast this morning. The first impression was quite positive, but that changed when I finished my coffee. There was an insect at the bottom of the coffee mug. mosquito or something similar. I showed the cup to the waiter. In all seriousness he wanted to discuss with me that it absolutely couldn't be the case, that the animal had already been in the cup before! Ah yes. According to the waiter, it could also have been that the insect fell into the cup while we were getting breakfast at the buffet. Honestly, that's hard to beat in terms of audacity. Instead of apologizing for it, I get the blame? I then got a new coffee, but my breakfast was done and I had completely lost my appetite. After a few minutes the waiter came back to our table and repeated that it was absolutely not possible that the animal had been in the coffee machine. We didn't talk about that either. My goodness, what subterranean service! Only one of the two coffees was deducted when paying, but honestly? I would have expected good service to be on the house. Café del Sol won't see me again.

We were there for a birthday. It started over the phone with contradictory statements about gluten-free. On the one hand, yes we have, but there are currently delivery problems, but we are allowed to bring our own rolls/bread. The person who reserved the table said that the gluten-free offer was no longer available. Unfortunately, the allergens are not listed at the buffet on site, fashionable things like vegan and vegetarian are preferred over allergens that really cause problems, you have to scan a QR code for the allergens and scroll through an endless list. At least the third waiter knew that after two were really annoyed because they had to ask in the kitchen because they had no idea, you really feel welcome. When I asked if you would get a discount because you had to bring your own bread/rolls/cereal, the answer was no, as the Frenchise system doesn't allow that (the Frenchise system was very often the "excuse") and so according to the motto, yes, you could Be happy that you were allowed to bring it yourself. We two families with celiac disease won't be coming back here as long as fads like vegan and the like are more important than allergens, which are really important because you feel really bad after eating them.

We only sat outside yesterday, so I can't comment on the inside area. The terrace is spacious and there is plenty of seating on chairs or benches. The terrace itself is equipped with heaters so that you can sit outside even in cooler temperatures. The service is friendly and you're also available for a quick chat. The food is very tasty, we ordered burgers, lasagna and currywurst. The prices are okay, there are enough parking spaces and the train stops almost right in front of the entrance door.

We as guests found the employees to be very unfriendly and as if they didn't want to do their job... the food was okay but there was a very long wait time and time again! We also had to wait a long time to pay and this happened again and again and not just once. Service in the store is catastrophic... unfortunately. You don't feel welcome and their facial expressions are also bored.

Nice stay, burger was very tasty, recommended, dessert came wrong at first and was quickly brought back, everything was good, gladly again.

Thai curry is basically to be kidnapped. However, not as spicy as in Thailand.

All in all a nice place, the food was tasty, the service was okay... but nothing more.

We had dinner there on September 14th, 2024 around 6 p.m. When the weather was good, we opted for the terrace. Since the cards were on the table, we chose food. Since no one had taken care of us after 20 minutes, we wanted to order in the café. This was rejected so that people wouldn't get confused with the tables. And the main business would take place indoors (explanation for the waiting time)...and no! The store wasn't full! The first drinks only came after a while...my beer was forgotten and delivered later. When the food came (burger for €14.90 + fries) the board on which it was served was warmer than the burger. I let half of the burger go back, which the staff didn't care about in the slightest. Not even a question... it was cleared away and good. My comments as we were leaving that we would probably be eating somewhere else soon were skillfully ignored by the staff.

Actually five stars but because of the bloody noise it doesn't feel comfortable... also because you have to raise your voice a lot to have a conversation, only three... the staff is very customer-oriented, friendly and attentive, the menu had a lot to choose from Dishes and salads as well as side dishes and dips...you eat in the middle of the action because all the tables were occupied with guests...the drinks came in no time, the food after a reasonable time (10 minutes)...the quality of the meals was very good, the quantity for a normal eater too... but for someone who is hungry the portions would be far too small, I think... that's why I think the prices for food and drinks are quite ambitious... we got a bowl of pasta with chicken, a plate on it two small breaded schnitzels, sauce and a few fries as well as two small bottles of water paid 32€🤔🙁... intense... the restaurant is bright, the tables and chairs are clean and comfortable... thanks to the The narrow access to the tables in the interior makes it a bit difficult to get to your seat...for guests with limited freedom of movement, I think, a problem...the cleanliness of the toilets is monitored regularly...but another look would have been necessary before our visit but was perhaps forgotten due to the rush of customers...we were still satisfied...

We were there for the breakfast buffet...The breakfast was plentiful, with everything there.The staff was friendly but probably a bit overwhelmed due to a lack of staff and the drinks took a little longer. Otherwise a really great breakfast buffet.

We wanted to have a nice evening today, but it turned into more of a transit... It was full outside, but not inside, and there were enough service staff. We ordered our food. Burgers and fries and chilli cheese fries. The drink was Cola zero, iced tea and non-alcoholic beer... first the Cola came, then at some point the iced tea, then the unfortunately very dry burger and the beer didn't come... when we were asked if everything was okay, we said goodbye pointed out the missing beer. We were then told that it was over and they forgot to let us know. Yes, it's a shame, the food was so good, the service was so good... well, the nicely planned evening was over after 35 minutes and we set off again... it's a shame that things have waned so much.

On the way to Hamburg, we stopped here with children and ate. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, the environment was fine. A large parking lot.

Unfortunately, almost all of the waiters were gone for dinner and we were alone with our plates for a while until someone cleared the plates and we could order dessert. Maybe the break policy should be reconsidered! - The main courses and dessert were very tasty, but the prices seemed a bit excessive.

A really nice atmosphere, with the terrace, swing, architectural style, you feel a bit like you're on vacation. Inside some with platforms. Simple chairs that don't invite you to linger forever. If you hadn't waited longer for the drinks than for the food, almost unaware of what was on the menu, the service wouldn't have degraded the rating so much. My wife's citizen wasn't particularly impressed either, especially since we were talking about "no" tomatoes (the waitress has allergies), and there was a tomato on the burger! Something carelessly misaligned! My Pinsa Chicken Teriyaki (pizza), on the other hand, was worth stars! The drinks menu has a good selection, great iced teas and cocktails at an acceptable price, 5 stars. Basically the price is a little above average, as it's a shame to only score points with ambience

Very nice restaurant where you can always find a nice place to eat and drink. Ideal for relaxing after a strenuous shopping trip, or for celebrations (birthdays, etc.). The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. The food is delicious and the portion size is very good for the price.

It's sad that even though there have been negative reviews about the service, the owner doesn't seem to be taking action. It feels like the staff wants to do a bad job so that people will complain and something will change. For today: - we had to ask several times for a high chair for the child - At the counter we asked whether there were any pens and pictures for children to color in. The answer was yes and we were assured that we would get something straight away. Spoiler: nothing came - Interior pretty empty, outside area semi-occupied - Staff are often seen smoking/taking a break outside - At the beginning we were asked once about what drinks we wanted, but not again during or after the meal - Ordering food was chaotic, individual requests were only accepted after discussion or the wrong food came anyway 🤡 It was also interesting that there were normal fries underneath the sweet potato fries we ordered. The overall portion was just as big as the others. That makes you feel even more ripped off - We were then allowed to hold some of our dessert with our hands before it could be put on the table, as the food plates had not yet been cleared away. Reason: he didn't want the ice cream to melt and he wanted to distribute the dessert first and then clear away the empty plates You had the feeling they just didn't feel like it. And this isn't the first negative review. The operator should act slowly. And don't give a terse response to the reviews.

Unfortunately the kitchen closes at 9 p.m. (I was there in the middle of the week). Prices a little too high and side dishes like fries too few.

The food was really good, schnitzel is still a big deal here! Unfortunately we waited a good 15 minutes until we were served. And there wasn't much going on here. We were just about to leave... We also sat at a table that was extremely sticky. The other tables looked the same.

It's a shame that there is hardly a Café del Sol location in southern Germany! We were there for breakfast and loved it! Great atmosphere, very tasty breakfast, very child-friendly, nice staff. Would come more often if it wasn't so far away ;-)

Unfortunately we are very disappointed, we haven't been here for a long time and we were really happy. Unfortunately, the service was very slow and fun at work looks different. Starters were booked with the main courses. We waited almost an hour for our food and then the fries were cold. Sorry, but that's not ok. We also complained about this on site, unfortunately without any response. It's a shame, it was probably the last visit.

Eigentlich waren wir recht häufig in diesem Restaurant. Leider wurden die Preise jedoch stark erhöht und die Speisen wurden tendenziell eher schlechter. Für zwei kleine Schnitzel (mit viel Panade) plus einer Handvoll Pommes schon 20,-€ zu nehmen, ist schon grenzwertig. Der lieblose Salat (Blattsalat mit einer Cocktailtomate) macht diesen Eindruck nicht besser. Auch die Bedienung war nicht wirklich auf Zack….. Neue Getränkebestellung konnte erst nach langer Wartezeit aufgegeben werden.

Extremely disappointed, cocktail with rotten mint leaves, cold soups and plastic in my daughter's pasta menu. Just stupid answer to the rotting leaves “it’s nature”!!! Disgusting. 4 people €115

The food was very tasty, the drinks were good but unfortunately the service was very slow. Nobody came and asked if we wanted anything else to drink. Plates were cleared away, but empty glasses remained. Even after we ordered something to drink again, the old empty glasses remained. The store was really not busy on Saturday between 6-8pm. Staff stood behind the counter and rarely looked at you. To pay we had to get up and give notice. We found the price of drinks and dessert comparatively expensive. But absolutely ok for the main meal.

The food was very good, the service was super fast. Of course I'll come back, and I then order the same thing.

I was there 4 years ago and I really enjoyed the food and the portions were enough to fill you up, but when I was there again I was happy that the prices remained the same. But to my surprise, the portions are now only a third as big and it was just like a snack that was very expensive.

Were there for brunch. Large selection I was only disappointed by the croissants. Oh yes, it would be nice if there were puddings or quark dishes for lactose intolerant people.

It's just a system restaurant. Nice service and quick service. The food is good and there is also plenty for vegetarians.

The pinsa was as hard as a board and couldn't be cut through with a blunt knife. The fries were dark, "old" and cold. The portion was also unusually small. We otherwise know it differently. The waiter was very nice and tried hard, but didn't ask if it was tasty. Otherwise we would have said something straight away. By the way, the terrace should finally become a non-smoking area.

At first I was really excited. Delicious food, great service. I also overlooked the sometimes longer waiting times. Now two of the three burger bun variants have been removed from the range. Brioche tastes way too sweet and ruins the whole burger. Really weak... It's a shame... you can get rid of customers so quickly

It's really disappointing that such a nice place like Café del Sol has such poor service and very few competent staff. You always get the impression that, apart from one or two employees, the rest are completely unmotivated and are just waiting for the moment to get off work...it's a shame.

I was pleasantly surprised; it looked like a simple cafe, but inside there was a large cozy restaurant. For warm weather there is a beautiful terrace. Green area. I recommend visiting 🍧

Great atmosphere. There was a star deduction because my pizza (tomato, mozzarella, pesto) had a fish flavor?! It was probably baked in the oven with a fish dish. I can't explain anything else. Of course, this should be taken into account.

The food came quickly and the service was attentive. However, considering the price/performance ratio, the food isn't quite as good. Somehow something was missing and you get the feeling that hardly anything new has happened in the restaurant in recent years. This mainly refers to the ambience.

Super leckeres Essen, freundliches Personal. Preisleistung haut hin und die Sanitäranlagen sind sauber. Auch die Einrichtung isz total gemütlich und gibt einen direkt das Gefühl im Urlaub zu sein

I was having a drink with a friend at your place. I ate at your place a while ago and it was OK. The reason I'm writing this review is your toilets. I thought I was going to throw up. Toilets full of feces and the toilet door was also broken, toilet paper on the floor, etc. That shouldn't be the case.

I complained politely about point 1 and expected that there would at least be a free helping of fries or a free ice cream, unfortunately none. There was only an apology and the question of whether I would like to order something for a fee, sorry guys, that's really not possible! I've never experienced anything like that, products that are so cheap like ice cream or fries don't make a store poor, but rather one less customer... Regarding point 2: At least it would have been delivered later if requested. Regarding point 3: When I asked what was going on with the blackberries, I was told that there were no more. Then why serve half a drink? That's what you say before you serve whether you still want it. Now it doesn't make the cabbage very fat, but what kind is it? The customer won't notice Tactic? Impossible! No, to be honest, service really looks different to me. I can only agree with the others, the Café del Sol WAS once a great and good restaurant. Has lost a lot in both service and quality, it's a real shame!

Unfortunately the second time wasn't a nice experience. Tables dirty and absolutely no service. The waitress has to be asked several times to take the order. After the meal the food is not cleared away...

Were there for brunch on Sunday, around 11:20 a.m. Buffet was mostly measured. There would still be more refills, but mostly the things that were already on the buffet. When asked, there was only what was there, for example no Gouda. Service was nice and helpful, except when we asked for other dishes. Fruit yoghurt was not added either. So all in all, little things, but that no longer justifies the price. But some cool things for vegetarians and vegans 👍🏻

The service is extremely bad, it seems like the employees don't want to work there and they always make the guests wait a long time until they take an order. The store could definitely improve with the employees, perhaps more friendliness.

Many years of great food, great ambience and many great evenings... After Corona, your food is just completely crap: burnt schnitzel, cold fries, cold burgers with smaller parties as standard. In addition, excessively long waiting times, poorly cleaned tables and unkempt outdoor areas. Are your team and management overwhelmed? A loss of your restaurant would not be a loss for the Bremen gastronomy scene... What a shame :-(

We were conflicted about the rating. Have been there several times. But I have to say it's great. Also the complaints after brunch that it takes so long if you want to have lunch at 1 p.m. I have to disagree. We had our food in no time and in the usual good quality

Thanks for a great evening. The service staff saw that I was disabled and immediately held the door open for me while I was still on my way to the entrance. During the course of the evening we were regularly asked about our wishes. The food was fresh and delicious. I will gladly come again.

Unfortunately with 3 children we waited over an hour to finally be able to order food! There was nothing going on! Our waitress wanted to clear away empty drink glasses, but didn't bring anything new. Children's high chair was not brought, although it was stated at the beginning that a high chair was needed for the toddler. When we asked the service person about it, she became mushy and said that we had to approach her. Unfortunately, the taste of the food was also disappointing. Currywurst sauce was too sweet, nachos were crumbly, paddy was totally dry and the two schnitzels seemed quite small on the plate. Only after we ordered the food did we receive the children's menus. We complained to the service management. She brought in the service person. After a long back and forth, the service manager forced an apology to us. But the service person absolutely had to comment on this sentence: "I can't turn back the clock." It's a shame, she didn't learn anything. There was also no discount or free drinks from Cafe del Sol. Toilets are also not recommended because the cabin doors are not opaque, the cabins in the men's toilets are too narrow and the changing facility has been poorly repaired (seems somewhat safe). Overall very disappointing. Now it doesn't surprise me that at the same time "The Ash" was packed and in "cafe del sol" less than 20% of the tables were occupied.

Sunday at 12:40 p.m. we enter the restaurant and inquire about a table for lunch. Breakfast runs until 1 p.m., then there is a lunch menu. It's now 2:07 p.m. and I still don't have lunch. The glasses are cleared away from the table. Instead of a round of free drinks as an excuse. And we're still waiting for the high chair for our little one. Overwhelmed service staff even though there is hardly anything going on. Now I know why this...

Were there for breakfast today. Unfortunately not recommended. The selection was very disappointing and the quality was anything but good. We paid €61.00 for two people, which is absolutely not worth it. Breakfast used to be great.

I've eaten here several times and am a bit confused. A few days ago I was served by a very young lady. I guess she was 9 years old and the service wasn't exactly friendly... that meant everything took a little longer. I wonder if it's okay to let someone so young work instead of play. Food was still relatively good.

Nice Mediterranean atmosphere. Nice personel. Food was delicious. I had Pinsa Chicken Teriyaki. Crispy bottom. Very tasty with a slight spiciness. I will definitely eat again.

Yesterday I went to Café del Sol again for 6 years and it was a disappointment. I had a chili cheeseburger that was basically not one. The jalapenos weren't spicy and the burger didn't taste like anything. What do you expect if a frozen product is also used? The fries, on the other hand, were very tasty and crunchy. The mayo... well it has nothing to do with mayo. The service, however, was very attentive and friendly. The only thing that irritated me a bit was that when we arrived there was a bunch of people standing in front of the entrance smoking and 5 minutes later it turned out that it was the staff. They must be bored. The shop itself invites you to linger if you just want to have a drink. Unfortunately I can't recommend food.

I've been there several times with friends. The food is good, but I've been there several times mainly because of the ambience and location. For eating I can recommend the Schnitzel Del Sol. The food is good, but a bit too expensive. A big negative point is the service. On a few visits, the service was okay/good and we were satisfied. Most of the time the service was rude and answered very irritably or you were simply served after 15 minutes even though there wasn't much going on.

We've been here several times and it's always good. Food delicious, service friendly. Only recommended 👍

At Café del Sol it always depends on when you visit. Sometimes the service is great, sometimes really bad. Sometimes the food is hot and delicious, sometimes cold and bland. Price performance is okay. The ambience is cozy if you don't mind the volume when the house is full 😉. We'll still come back.

Café del Sol hat leider total nachgelassen.. Alles was wir bestellt haben kam nach und nach an und komplett durcheinander. Wir haben eine Belgische Waffel bestellt, welche komplett vergessen wurde. Schade!

Also mal ehrlich , waren aufgrund einer Geburtstagseinladung heute dort und somit das erste mal in einem dieser Cafés und zugleich auch das letzte mal. Man sollte mal sich das Preis leistungs Verhältnis ansehen , dies passt absolut nicht. Aus höflichkeit unserer Gastgeberin habe ich mich zurück gehalten. Denn auch bei Nachfrage des Personals ob alles geschmeckt hat , habe ich dieses verneint und wurde gekonnt ignoriert. Das Essen, ich hatte Lasagne, hätte ich selbst als nicht gelernter Koch mit Maggi fix besser hin bekommen als das was man dort bekommen hat. Geschmacklich fade , gut kann man nach würzen , sollte meiner Meinung nach , aber nicht im Sinne des Erfinders sein. Portionsgröße für 12,50 € war lächerlich , dachte schon, ach schau an gibt dipschale dazu , vllt brot dabei ? nein es war die Lasagne selbst. Dann hat man sich mit den Bestellungen verzettelt, ohne das danach eine Entschuldigung kam. Wird einfach weg gebracht und neu kommt fertig. Gab auch kein absacker als Entschädigung oder dergleichen , so wie man es kennt aus anderen Restaurants. Nein man hat noch Dinge mit auf die Rechnung gepackt die aufgrund des ab morgen anstehenden Sanierungsmaßnahmen nicht mehr gab und darauf musste man auch nachher darauf hin weisen. Klar bekommt man sein Geld wieder , aber sowas sollte doch auffallen beim erstellen der Rechnung. Ich könnte mich in rage schreiben, aber für mich steht fest , daß nicht nur sanierungsarbeiten am Gebäude fällig sind , sondern man strickt qualitativ am preis leistungs Verhältnis arbeiten muss. Ich werde diesen Laden nicht mehr betreten. Da wäre man geschmacklich in einer pommesbude besser versorgt. Mfg
