Great food, great atmosphere... Thank you to the whole team! We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful location, delicious food and very friendly service.

We stumbled across Charlott by chance and immediately booked a Christmas dinner with the family. I think we were very lucky to have gotten a table. We found ourselves in a charming, ancient dining room, reminiscent of a dollhouse, where we were warmly welcomed by a young lady. The food was divine. We had Maultaschen (Swabian ravioli) with potato salad and a side salad. A true delight for a Swabian. The Zwiebelrostbraten (roast beef with onions) was cooked to perfection and so tender it melted in our mouths. The Wiener Schnitzel. That's how a schnitzel should taste. And finally, we have to talk about the duck. Zero fat, yet incredibly tender. A wonderful piece of meat that is second to none! The side dishes were no less spectacular. They were essentially ordinary dishes, but prepared with so much love and presented so beautifully, unlike anything we've ever experienced before. Someone here has a passion for cooking and presentation. We will definitely be back.

A quaint but pleasant little café-restaurant nestled in the middle of the mountain. The young waitress was very friendly. The cream puffs and hot chocolate are also highly recommended.

Our requests were promptly fulfilled, recommendations were made—and truly delivered. I was particularly impressed by how well the waiter explained the dishes and recommended suitable drinks. Everything went smoothly from an organizational perspective: reservations, table assignments, and all other processes worked seamlessly. In short: a culinary experience that I'd happily recommend. A lovely, quaint restaurant above the town. We were there for lunch, which took a total of 2.5 hours. Not that we ate that slowly. Everything came out rather slowly, even though it was almost quiet. The food itself was very good. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

The schnitzel was so delicious it was so big it got cold before I could finish eating it 😂

Unfortunately, after four visits, I've had two excellent experiences and two terrible ones. The last time was so bad that I won't be going back to Charlotte. Once, my Madeira sauce was extremely watery. After I complained, it was thickened too much and almost mushy. The fries arrived five minutes after the meat. Our last visit was on June 20th. We had a table on the terrace. In total, we waited 1.5 hours for our food. Only the first dish arrived. Another 10 minutes later, the schnitzel arrived, and the fries took another 10 minutes to arrive as well. We were absolutely furious. You want to go out for a nice, relaxing meal, and then something like this happens. The young waitresses are constantly chatting instead of making sure the orders are being taken and sent to the kitchen. No joke, two waitresses arrived after us, also with hot dishes, and were gone before our first meal even arrived. Everything tasted good...but the food was served in such a long time. All three of us were so annoyed that we just wanted to leave. Regarding the ambiance: the restaurant and terrace are very nice. However, I found the height of the tables to the chairs very uncomfortable.

The food is delicious and of a very high standard. The restaurant is very cozy and decorated with attention to detail. We have rarely seen such clean restrooms anywhere. Incredibly beautiful views and very authentic Swabian cuisine at reasonable prices. If someone from abroad were to visit Baden-Württemberg, I would highly recommend a stay here.

It would be appreciated if someone would regularly check the information available on Google Maps. It's annoying when lunch is planned at a specific location on your itinerary, but the restaurant decides at short notice to open from 3 p.m. instead of 1 p.m. as stated. In addition, the parking situation there is anything but ideal.

I ordered a gazpacho, which contained a giant prawn, which was not mentioned on the menu. This is very inconvenient as a vegetarian, so I kindly pointed out that a note on the menu would have been good and perhaps this should be added. I was then told that “that’s how it’s served and if you don’t know what you’re ordering, don’t order it.” Aside from the fact that this is wrong (not every green gazpacho is served with a giant prawn, you can find out when you google it), the reaction was simply very unfriendly and also spoiled my appetite a little. Other vegetarians would probably have reacted even less relaxed than I did, a very strange situation and also a shame, as the food was otherwise very tasty and the other employees were also friendly.

The cocktails 🍹 are amazing, the mixing ratios are absolutely brilliant. 🤣 The food was delicious, and even though we were more than full, we still treated ourselves to a Kaiserschmarrn (of course, with both correct answers: applesauce and vanilla sauce). 😝 What would we have missed if we hadn't tried it! So, pro tip: You absolutely have to try it! The Kaiserschmarrn tops everything we've had before; it was absolutely sensational! Everything was made with love ♥️, and the service deserves special mention! A clear ten out of ten. That's very rare these days! The two young ladies did such a charming job, were very attentive, and we had a lot of fun with them. 🤩 Thank you for the new Easter family tradition! 🙏🏻

What can I say? 6 out of 5 stars... We've been here several times for dinner, and so far, the quality, taste, portion size, freshness, everything perfect. They also got full marks for my reservation request. Even though it was closed, it was answered. The girls are all really great, friendly, fast, and very helpful. The menu isn't extensive, but it doesn't need to be; everything is freshly prepared. (When I hear the meat tenderizer in the kitchen, my heart just melts.) Even the onions on the roast beef are genuinely pan-fried and not, as is sometimes bad practice, deep-fried. I highly recommend it.

A great, charming café. We recently went to the rooftop terrace and had two pieces of cake and two lattes. Everything was very good and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly, and we felt comfortable there. The only problem is that it's difficult to get onto the terrace from outside if you have a stroller.

The online menu was not the same as the day we were there. There wasn't even pork schnitzel. You should then also put the card online that is valid for the days. Was a little disappointing.

A carefully renovated half-timbered house welcomes you in one of the mountain ranges of Haigerloch. Tastefully furnished, embracing the guest like a long-lost coat. The food was imaginative and absolutely delicious. Produced and prepared locally and seasonally. The service is attentive and friendly, you can tell they enjoy what they do. Great. Please keep it up. It's great that you all exist. I'm already looking forward to seeing you again at the Charlott.

An absolute must if you are near Haigerloch. We even spent an hour traveling there. Quaint half-timbered house, super nice staff, nice ambience and delicious food. The recommendation in winter is the Jägerplatte.

It was my second visit here because I was excited the first time. However, this time the food wasn't particularly good. Only the meat was on point and of good quality. The spaetzle was dry and looked like it had been kept warm in the oven for a long time, browned and crispy. Didn't eat them. Here I expect freshly cooked spaetzle with a little butter and breadcrumbs. Even the very thin, liquid gravy couldn't help. The red cabbage was also dry, without liquid and didn't taste like much. Like from a glass, drained and warmed up. Unfortunately, this time it was below average.

We celebrated a birthday at Café Charlott today and were very satisfied. The selection of dishes is just right, we can highly recommend grill pans, game goulash and schnitzel. However, you have to bring a little time, but this is made good by the excellent quality of the food. The yeast dumpling with vanilla sauce for dessert was heavenly. It's great that caffeine-free cappuccino is offered! The restaurant is also very dog-friendly, which made us particularly happy. We had a wonderful view on the terrace.

A restaurant where you feel welcome. The atmosphere, the warmth, the ambience and the food are fantastic. It is a family business where everyone helps. During our visit, the daughter served us with a funny, charming manner that made me want to poach her. The son in the kitchen conjured up a very tasty meal on the table. Food was very special, (4 out of 5 meat dishes with pineapple) it was nothing for us. Spätzle fried as crispy as fried onions. There were no children's meals on the menu. Prices way too expensive. A fantastic view outside, very stinky air inside. Service was okay (they at least tried to be friendly).
