Food and service top, ambience okay (located directly at a crossroads)

The food was excellent. We had the six-course menu and were very satisfied. It was our first time dining there, and we immediately felt at ease. The hostess and the rest of the staff were very pleasant. The braised ox cheeks and the dessert with Valrhona chocolate were particular highlights of our meal. The lobster bisque also left a lasting impression.

Zero stars, really. I genuinely wonder how these positive reviews came about. These ratings (currently 4.9 – the food must be amazing then 🙈) prompted me to try this place. I ordered beef Szechuan style and sweet and sour chicken to go. I threw away about 85% of the beef dish. Dry meat, an undefinable taste, and an unappetizing color. Sweet and sour chicken shouldn't have half a vegetable shop in it – from mushrooms to cauliflower, broccoli, bell peppers, and a ton of onions. I would have ordered chop suey instead. The mini rolls were okay, but that's hardly a masterpiece for standard convenience food. What a shame.
