We wanted to have a coffee again today and we were told it would close at 5 p.m. even though it said until 6 p.m. Last week we were told at 5 p.m. that the coffee machine had already been cleaned. So when we got something in the weeks before, everything was great, delicious homemade cakes and top coffee variations. But you should either adjust the opening times or expect guests until the end

Totally delicious, absolutely good breakfast, I can recommend it. However, the toilets leave a lot to be desired, which is a shame.

The vegan sweet potato Oreo cake 10/10!!! Luckily it wasn't as loud as other cafés in the Neustadt and on Saturday we found a relaxed, cozy place. Service was super friendly, everything was great!

A very nice little place, especially for breakfast. I had the toasted bread with beetroot hummus, avocado and poached egg and loved it. It was very well seasoned and nicely presented. The prices are also very fair and definitely lower than other breakfast places. Highly recommended!

Great ambience, very tasty breakfast, good coffee and very nice service! The only downer is that there is no mention of peanuts in the muesli on the menu. This can end badly for allergy sufferers! We'll be back! 🤩

Surprisingly there wasn't much going on. Inside it is very cozy and comfortable. You can sit outside, inside by the window or further back where it is a little quieter. There is WiFi for studying and working. The menu is so varied that you can't decide because everything sounds delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Good café in the heart of Dresden's Neustadt. Years ago I went there more or less regularly for the rice pudding, today for brunch with the family. Service and ambience are good and pleasant. The meals were all very good and plentiful, and could also be made vegetarian upon request.

Really great brunch spot in Neustadt that's packed with locals on a Saturday morning. They have an extensive menu with lots of options and additions. I got a café crema and the New York New York and my date got a cappuccino and the Ei Benedict. The coffees were fantastic and the portions were healthy. The bacon jam on the Benedict caught me a little off guard and I can't tell if I'm a fan. And the NYNY could come with slightly more fruit or Brötchen toppings. But other than that, everything was delicious and I ate every last bite. The service was super friendly, our food came out fast, and the vibe is bumpin' but cozy. Overall, a great choice for those in the area looking for a solid brunch!

The ambience is very nice, quiet and fresh flowers... But the latte just didn't live up to my standards. I've never been served such bad milk foam before... but maybe it was just a slip-up and I was just there at the wrong time because the treat was delicious.

You get a very good breakfast here. The cafe is also very cozy otherwise.

The shakshuka was delicious and the service was excellent. We started a wonderful morning in Dresden.

The food is utterly bad. The corn soup has no corn taste but coconut and sweetener. The carbonara ravioli is I don’t know what. Cheese filled ravioli swimming in oily stew sauce. Whole Italy is crying. The waitress is sad, not welcoming. The place and atmosphere is fine that’s why all the other things made me surprised. + When we were paying the waitress came to my friend and made her accountable for her review and expressed her disappointment without any openness for her feedback. That’s pretty rude.

La comida es totalmente mala. La sopa de maíz no tiene sabor a maíz, sino a coco y edulcorante. Los ravioles de carbonara son no sé qué. Ravioles rellenos de queso nadando en salsa de guiso aceitoso. Italia entera llora. La camarera está triste, no es acogedora. El lugar y el ambiente está bien, por eso todas las demás cosas me sorprendieron.

Blumenau is a great breakfast cafe. The waitresses are magical and very attentive and accommodating. An absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to have breakfast in Dresden Neustadt.

I ate here two days in a row for breakfast because it is fantastic food with very nice staff. The morning bowl I got the first day was delicious but easily enough for two people, I couldn't finish it. The spicy tomato thing I got the second day I was just able to finish. Highly recommend, good vegetarian options

Very clean, tidy atmosphere. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. We felt completely comfortable. The breakfast was plenty and delicious!

After a friendly greeting, we were told that all free tables (approx. 20%) were reserved, but that we could sit outside. When the outside temperature was 9 degrees and the morning was cloudy, we politely declined. I don't think we would have been seriously served outside either. Too bad!

We are Berliners and are probably a bit spoiled by very good brunch cafés. It wasn't bad here, but the oat chai latte tasted a bit like soap. The coffee was good but the oat foam was too airy. The food tasted fresh and well seasoned, but the Shakshuka with goat cheese was a bit too sour, very salty and the bread that came with it was apparently not homemade and not very fresh. The atmosphere is cozy and beautifully designed. The waitress was okay, but not super friendly either.

The location in the courtyard is nice. But the prices are too high and the quality of the food is not particularly good. The Mediterranean breakfast includes cooked ham and cheese, which you can usually get cheaply in the supermarket. And I think it's a disgrace to charge over €4 for tap water. Often you have to order twice to get the food/drinks.

It was good to have a late breakfast here at 2pm. A pleasant and quiet area of ​​Dresden. We were served quickly, which is very appreciated during tourist visits.

Brunch option is great and food is simple but very good. However, the service is sooooo slow! We waited 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Also, the Matcha latte taste like milk with a little matcha and not matcha with milk. As well as their Chai Latte. Too much milk that you barely taste the matcha and “Chai” flavour. So I won’t recommend ordering these two drinks if you don’t want to be disappointed or underwhelmed. -2 stars for the slow service and we were not satisfied with our hot drinks. But we like the vibe and food!

The brunch was fine. Unfortunately, the pancakes were too bready, the bread for the Eggs Benedict wasn't toasted so it was soggy, and there was no dressing for the salad. A roll was missing from the breakfast plate. Plus there must have been a wasps nest somewhere because suddenly there were 8 of them, which wasn't exactly relaxing. The homemade lemonades were very good. The raspberry lemonade is recommended.

Great service and very tasty food/drinks. Even half portions are correctly charged at half price. Very clean, even if the street itself doesn't reflect it. Like a little oasis on the street.

An insider tip for lovers of "eggs benedict", it's a shame that this great dish is rarely offered anymore.... here, by the way, better than the American original on toasted wholemeal bread and no soggy toast. Cheers!

Very nice breakfast bar. Delicious food and a great selection. Everything is freshly prepared and breakfast is served from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., which is perfect on some days.

Brunch was fine. However, it was done with little eye for detail. We usually always buy the toasties at Rewe - the rolls were also from the self-service baking department in the supermarket. In the end the taste was okay, but not commensurate with the price. What was positive: there was free drinking water with lemon from a carafe. Conclusion: We wouldn't go there again.

I had written an honest review criticizing the food. This was blocked by the café. In short, I cannot recommend the food here. Edit: thanks for the honesty, but my review was based on June 23rd, 2024 and is therefore current. I find it questionable that you would even hire an agency to delete reviews. The sum of the opinions results in an average rating, which gives the consumer the opportunity to decide whether he would like to eat with you (which I can unfortunately only advise against). They distort this image through said agency. It would be better to adjust the quality and after this has been done, address the negative reviewers directly about it, which has already happened in my case. It's also interesting that you didn't comment on my review. The quality of the food was highly questionable and this was not due to my taste but rather a lack of standards.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome spot for a healthy breakfast/brunch with a fantastic selection of vegan options! We reserved as a bigger group and were treated with exceptional service (thank you!). On the downside, the lunch menu is a bit small and not too exciting. Plus, charging +0,60€ for oat milk seems a bit much for a cafe in this area. But overall, a great place to start your day!

Ich kenne das Blumenau nun sehr lange und war seit Ewigkeiten mal wieder da. Es war sehr lecker und ein angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Personal ist auch OK.

When I read the breakfast menu my thought was: “Everything please!” The toasted bread and the pencakes were great. The cake was also delicious. Service and ambience also top.

It's just a Dyson Airblade. The blowing power is 10/10 and your hands dry in no time. After a few seconds you will also notice the heat function. There was no paper-based hand drying during my visit. The service is very nice, the atmosphere is nice and the food is delicious at a fair price.

Tasty but feels like a polo shirt. Not a real café, not a real Bahr, something in between but nothing real. Still very tasty and nice staff :)

We had breakfast at Blumenau today and were completely satisfied. We ordered the Egg Benedict with avocado, the pancakes with blueberry compote and vanilla ice cream and a toasted bread with Bufalla. All dishes were very delicious! The service is also courteous, friendly and always had a smile on their faces. You simply feel comfortable here. We will be back!

The service was very nice, but unfortunately that doesn't make up for the bad food. Unfortunately I cannot confirm the other reviews here. My pasta was overcooked, oily and unseasoned. If I had cooked this myself it would have been much better. The pancakes were old and reheated. The bread also seemed to be from the day before. Nobody in my group was even remotely satisfied with the food. Of course, the price is not justified at all

I had brunch here and have to say I was very underwhelmed by the food. Asked for the burrata bread and - besides being cold - it was served with canned tomatoes, which I find pretty unacceptable.

Had a good breakfast there. Gladly again. Which takes some getting used to! That you have to pay extra for the milk with your coffee. I don't know that anywhere else.

I stopped in for breakfast / brunch and was delighted to find a spot even though I hadn't reserved a table. The atmosphere was warm and inviting; this is clearly a well-loved, family friendly location. Friendly staff (speaking in German and English) and a beautifully served crepe (which prompted me to take this photo!). The crepe was a bit rubbery, but all in all I left happy anyway.

Sehr gemütliches ,typisch neustadtmässiges Café mit mega flinker und sehr sehr netter Bedienung! Der selbstgemachte Joghurt und das Röstbrot kann ich nur empfehlen! Wir kommen wieder!

Suuuper schönes Ambiente hinten im Hof. 😍 Eine süße Katze, die sich zwischen den Mauern herumtreibt, freundliche Kellnerinnen, leckeres und preiswertes Frühstück. Hat sich alles in allem sehr warm und heimisch angefühlt, wir wollen gar nicht mehr gehen. 😄

Ein sehr schöner Ort zum Frühstücken, besonders der Innenhof ist sehr gemütlich. Sehe netter Service, wir kommen gerne wieder.

В целом, милое место, но кухня не дотягивает до 5 звезд. В шакшуке правильный соус и заправка, но сами яйца сварены в крутой желток, от чего шакшукой это уже не назвать.

Had a brunch here and we love how we can order and pay online, efficient. After the staff serve our food, she suggested that they have free water (a surprise especially if you try different places in Germany and it was sparkling too). When we want to check if our payment went through at the counter, other staff just walked past us. There are seats outside where you can enjoy the warm weather in summer. The food were okay. The pancakes were very fluffy too. The ladies toilet door needs to have a good push when opening as it can get stuck on the floor.

Nettes Café in der Dresdner Neustadt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und für den Preis vollkommen OK. Die offene Fensterfront zur Straße hin ist vor allem im Sommer richtig schön. Die Bedienung war sehr nett.

Am Sonntag zum Frühstück für den Dresden-Besucher eine prima Alternative zum Hotelfrühstück. Reservierung online hat geklappt, Parkplätze in der Straße vorhanden. Nettes Ambiente, insbesondere im hinteren Garen sitzt man ruhig und startet mit leckerem Frühstück in den Tag. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, Preise angemessen. Wir kommen wieder 👍🏼
