The best cafe in all of Hamburg

A place without a doubt that is one of the best in Hamburg from my point of view and as a tourist I have already been to several points in the city. But here you feel welcomed, with wonderful attention, everything is absolutely fresh and made from the moment. The flavor, quality, texture and price seem really amazing to me and very, very good. You have to go and try everything you can in this wonderful place. Thank you for the kindness with which I was treated even though I did not speak English or German, the lady who served me understood me and spoke a little Spanish for me. Thank you very much!

The Avi has been our favorite café for years, simply because of the ambience and the delicious breakfast variations. You are always warmly welcomed and after the change of ownership it seems even more dog-friendly to me 😊 Thank you for your effort!

First visit to Avi - it won't be the last. Cappuccino was good, scrambled eggs with Sylt bread (with an incredibly tasty crust) were very good. Service: Top.

Unfortunately I can't say much about the quality of the food. We have already ordered there twice via Lieferando, each time it was supposed to be a birthday breakfast. At first the order was accepted, but after about a quarter of an hour it was canceled without giving any reason and the possible delivery time was pushed back by several hours. Disappointing.

A wonderful café with very friendly and attentive service and fresh, delicious food. We always enjoy coming here for breakfast at the weekend and sitting on the spacious terrace when the weather is warm. Big recommendation :)

It's small and doesn't have a lot of space, but the food and service were great.

Unfortunately it's not what it used to be... I always enjoyed breakfast there but unfortunately we were very disappointed on the last two visits.

Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere… the food is of very good quality (Sylter bread!!) but given the prices I thought we were in Oslo or what? I would never have paid over €9 for 1 pancake! I can only recommend it to a limited extent…

Very tasty scrambled eggs in the garden on a quiet street. The waiting time was a bit long (approx. 20 minutes), but maybe it was because of the European Football Championship.

Delicious pastries and very tasty hot drinks. We had cappuccino and matcha latte and were very impressed. Our dog was also allowed to be there.

We were very impressed with Café Afi in Hamburg. We had a delicious breakfast in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, which made the visit particularly pleasant. A charming place that we would happily recommend!

We spontaneously reserved a table at Avi yesterday and we were totally happy. The chocolate bee sting was definitely our highlight and the coffee and ambience were also first class. The team is totally coordinated, friendly and accommodating. It's really nice to enjoy being outside in the sun. We would love to come back 😇

Perfect place for a good, healthy and tasty breakfast.

I actually like the Avi. The breakfast selection is really good and tasty, fairly priced and when the weather is good you can sit outside. However, it usually takes a long time to get the drinks; you often have to wait 20-30 minutes for coffee. And one toilet is clearly not enough for the amount of space. Unfortunately, the last time the service was really weak, we had what seemed to be a new waiter who brought things wrong several times. I'm also really open to casual outfits, that's not an issue at all, but sweatpants with the underbust peeking out at the top are not an option. There really could be more, I hope they get their processes under control again because it's really nice there.

Great for breakfast! Seats are available inside and outside. Despite the location outside, very quiet. The food and the coffee were really delicious. We had a sandwich and a yogurt with granola and fruit. I can only recommend.

Very nice restaurant, with nice staff and very good food. Large selection so there is something for everyone.

We ordered 2 cafes, scrambled eggs and a pancake with maple syrup. In terms of taste, everything was okay, but €8.90 for a single thin pancake with a little maple syrup (decorated with powdered sugar and a physalis) is excessive.

We were here for breakfast and loved the cozy atmosphere. It's a small cafe with only a few seats. An absolute pleasure with the loving preparation of the food and the quality of the food.

Service was unfriendly, no allergy card available although required by law. In that case that meant no breakfast for us. Very unfortunate...

A really cute little place to have breakfast! The pancake is very tasty, although a bit small, and it's more of a pancake than a fluffy "pancake". The Frabzbrötchen cream is an absolute recommendation!

The place was a little cramped. We had the cheeseplate, which was not worth 15€ at all! Also we ordered the scrambled egg with avocado, which was plain and had no taste at all. But the biggest disappointment was the cold bread! They gave us cold bread for breakfast in winter! Not good, not recommended! On the other hand their cake was delicious. Also the jam was very good. And the staff were friendly.

We ordered the breakfast box for two and upgraded it for 3 people. Delivery came on time and was very tasty! Deserved 5 stars and see you soon. After the lockdown we'll stop by the café.

Seit langem Mal wieder bei Café Avi gewesen, eigentlich immer sehr voll. Dieses Mal mal aber ohne Problem einen Platz zum Frühstück bekommen. Service war nett, aber stark überfordert. Das Essen war ok, preislich etwas zu hoch, gerade die Stullen! Aber schön angerichtet mit viel Liebe.

Ein sehr schönes Café. Hier kann man richtig gemütlich Frühstücken. Die Speisen sind sehr lecker und liebevoll angerichtet. Wir waren total begeistert.

Wir haben im Café Avi Gefrühstückt. Die Stullen & auch das Rührei waren sehr lecker. Besonders gut hat uns der Kaffee aus der Speicherstadtrösterei geschmeckt. Wir würden empfehlen auf jeden Fall zu reservieren am Wochenende. Wir empfehlen das Café weiter & kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr schnelle Rückmeldung und Lieferung pünktlich wie vereinbart. Kontakt war sehr freundlich. Preis/Leistung ist top. Leckeres Essen, viel Obst und schmackhafte kleine highlights. Außer etwas Plastik nichts zu beanstanden. Sehr zu empfehlen. Hoffentlich bald wieder direkt im Café.

Ein echte Entdeckung ist dieses kleine Café mit seiner leckeren Auswahl auf der Frühstückskarte. Ein schmackhaftes Graubrot, die Stulle, mit knackigem Salat und würzigem Schafskäse, ebenso das Rührei ist ein Hit. Unbedingt erwähnenswert ist der perfekte Service der Mitarbeiter mit ihrem sehr freundlichen Auftreten, dazu der aufmerksame Blick und netten, aber entspannten Umgangsformen! Ein Café zum wohlfühlen...

Wir waren morgens mit zwei Personen dort frühstücken. Das Ambiente war nett und man konnte sowohl draußen als auch drin sitzen. Es wurde eine übersichtliche Karte mit einer Frühstücksauswahl und verschiedenen Kaffee- und Smoothiesorten angeboten. Das Essen kam schnell, war lecker und zu einem fairen Preis. Klare Empfehlung!

Alles super. Sehr leckeres Frühstück und super Service

Ich habe oft mit dem Avi geliebäugelt. Leider wurden wir etwas enttäuscht. Zu Beginn sollte wir zu erst drinnen platziert werden, obwohl wir gerne draußen sitzen wollten und noch Plätze frei waren. Erst nachdem ich meine Reservierung (für draußen) rausgesucht und vorgezeigt habe, durften wir uns netterweise raussetzen.. Das vegane Frühstück war leider sehr enttäuschend. 2/3 Aufstriche bestanden zu 90% aus Margarine und unter Obst Beilage verstehe ich mehr als zwei Scheiben Orange und eine Scheibe Ananas.. Und das für stattliche 13,20€. Die anderen Bewertung sahen deutlich viel versprechender aus, daher hoffe ich, dass wir einfach nur einen schlechten Tag erwischt haben..

Wir sind gerade erst neu in die Nachbarschaft gezogen, die Mitarbeiter war wirklich sehr nett. Die Pascals und das Brot mit Lachs kann ich nur empfehlen.

Ein gemütliches Café mit äußerst freundlichen Bedienungen. Sehr leckeres Frühstück mit großer Vielfalt. Außenbereich teilweise überdacht, sodass man auch bei leichtem Regen oder starker Sonne gerne noch sitzen bleibt.
