We were staying at the campsite next door and were looking for a restaurant nearby. Then we came across this restaurant through a Google search. The best thing that could have happened to us. Cozy beer garden in the courtyard, very nice and attentive staff. The boss served and took our order. Then our food was served. Pork loin... and a grill plate... The food tasted excellent!!! and after our praise, the boss explained to us that everything was freshly prepared. Quality is important here! The price for this is completely okay. Absolutely recommended ☝️

We moved our regular table to Mike's at Butterfly because we are always welcome there, even with a dog, and he keeps his menu varied. He always surprises us with new dishes and special requests are no problem. Best place in town!!!!

Although we have lived in the area for a long time, we have never made it to Butterfly. We somehow thought that only seniors were “at home” there, that it “only” had the character of a café and the first external impression also put us off. Because of the very good reviews, we decided to visit and were very positively surprised by the food! With absolutely fair prices, the constantly changing menu impresses with creative dishes. Everything tasted absolutely fresh and delicious and was lovingly put together and prepared. Special requests were also easily addressed. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. The boss himself was absolutely charming and unobtrusively told us about the history and challenging development of the current restaurant in Corona times. Absolutely worth supporting and perhaps the only restaurant in Zellingen where you can eat such a varied and varied home-style meal. We also got to try a dessert and loved it! By the way, vegetarians will also find something on the menu... Clear recommendation - we'll be back! 👍🏼

Amazing food. Fresh, nicely flavoured, home made and great quality. Maike the owner is so friendly and welcoming and is happy to recommend a variety of dishes and share his stories. They are flexible with the menu options and can adapt to your needs. The beer garden is cute and relaxing. The toilets are very clean. The outdoor seating is very comfortable and has lovely greenery. And the prices are very reasonable. I had the pork loin the first night and it was so delicious I came back the next day and had an amazing meat plate with garlic potatoes. My partner had the calamari the first night and loved it so much, she had it again the second time. There is also a good variety of drinks. This really is a hidden jewel in #Zellingen ❤️

We waren eigenlijk te laat maar de eigenaar zei dat hij de keuken voor ons nog openhield. We kregen een voortreffelijke maaltijd voorgeschoteld. Nog een gratis drankje en ijsje erbij ook nog eens. Zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug. Een aanrader voor iedereen.

Heute waren wir im Butterfly essen. Es ist ein echter Geheimtipp! Das Ambiente lässt zunächst vielleicht weniger vermuten, einmal eingetreten und von der freundlichen Servicekraft in Empfang genommen, ist alles wunderbar! Eine Karte gibt es handgeschrieben auf Tafeln, was aus ist, ist aus - was da ist, ist fantastisch. Obendrauf gibt’s noch den sensationellen und extrem freundlichen Chef, mehr geht kaum. Wirklich ein tolles Erlebnis. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen! Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend 💪

Ein Hochzeitsessen im Butterfly? Kein Problem! Und es war herrlich unkompliziert. Maike - der Gastwirt - hat uns nicht nur bestens beraten, sondern unsere Feier auch wunderbar umgesetzt. Dabei hat er uns in der Essenswahl beraten, die Tische gerückt, damit wir uns die Sitzanordnung veranschaulichen können und sogar spezielle Wünsche in Sachen Intoleranzen berücksichtigt. Am Tage unserer Hochzeit war alles vorbereitet. Wir hatten ein paar eigene Vortellungen bei der Dekoration, die uns Maike und Team hervorragend integriert haben. Das Essen war dann wirklich super. Wir mussten auf nichts warten und alles wurde flink wieder abgeräumt. Und das alles zu einem sehr fairen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Parkplätze gibt es direkt vor Ort oder ca. 30 Meter weiter am Main. Fazit: Hochzeitsfeier bei Maike ist ein Sorglospaket. Leider habe ich keine Fotos, auf denen keine Familienmitglieder zu sehen sind - und aus Gründen der Privatssphäre möchte ich dieses wertvolle Gut auch schüzten. Die Vergabe von Sternen ist bei mir wie immer eine subjektive Momentbewertung.

Schon viele Male dort verbracht. Essen ist super, ständig wechselnde Auswahl an Essen und angemessene Preise. Bedienung sowie der Besitzer sind sehr zuvorkommend und super nett! Immer wieder einen Besuch wert! Beste Grüße

Wir kamen aus Hamburg und haben unsere Großmutter im Pflegeheim besucht. Wohin zum Essen, die Wahl fiel auf das Butterfly :) Essen geschmacklich super lecker, Preise total angemessen, angenehme Atmosphäre und der Chef sehr sehr nett! Da es sehr schwierig ist, in dem Ort ein Taxi zu organisieren, fuhr uns der Chef persönlich zum Bahnhof! Mehr Kundenfreundlichkeit geht nicht! Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen.
