Busumo in Göttingen

Four of us had dinner here in the evening and were very satisfied. The food was absolutely delicious, prepared quickly and brought to the table. In addition, the plates were lovingly prepared and decorated. The sushi and fish were fresh. Highly recommended.

⚠️THIS RESTAURANT IS NOT VEGAN FRIENDLY ⚠️ The dishes are not labeled as vegan or vegetarian. You have to actively ask for this. Even then, it is not clear in the communication why or whether the dishes are not vegan. Supposedly vegan dishes that have already been ordered are retroactively declared as non-vegan. In the end you can only order maki with vegetables. The maki doesn't seem fresh and is sticky. Falls apart when eating. There is also no willingness to veganize the dishes, even though they are freshly cooked. If you order several courses, they come either at once or at irregular intervals. The restaurant is generally very uncomfortable and very loud. There is little privacy.

Very yummy restaurant, gyoza are nice and crispy. Beef was amazing and the ice tea I’d definitely come back for.

During a stopover in Göttingen we were looking for dinner and read 'Asian fusion cuisine' on the internet. Since we like that kind of thing, we decided on the Busumo. At least from the outside the place seems rather small and we actually walked past it at first. We shared a starter and ordered 2 main courses. Everything was super tasty and surprisingly cheap. The Japanese Asahi beer is also recommended. Unfortunately, the enjoyment was massively spoiled: all of the dishes included wild herb salad and a large portion of the lettuce leaves were actually already rotten and mushy. Not good and unfortunately that means a significant deduction. If everything fits, then what's the problem with paying attention to the freshness of the salad? We passed this on to the staff and the employee apologized very politely. Our guess: an estimated 3 employees do everything in the restaurant. Service, cashiers, kitchen, etc. If that's the case, then something has to fall by the wayside when there's stress. To the restaurant management: please increase your staff. You guys are so good and you really could deserve better reviews. 👍🏻

Everything was perfect, except that the atmosphere was quite simple and the chairs were quite uncomfortable. Still just deserves 5 stars.

I was there for the first time on July 31, 2024. The food was delicious, the portions were more than good for the price, the service was very friendly and accommodating, the toilets were clean and the rest was clean. What I noticed was that there was a fork on the floor On the side of the table it was probably used but you can overlook that because it wasn't obvious. Card payment wouldn't be bad to use either. Overall I was very satisfied ☺️

The menu is well done. The starters and main courses can each be chosen with different types of meat or tofu. Spicy is shown separately. Everything we ordered was delicious. The service is fast, attentive and friendly. Prices are reasonable and usual. However, comfortable is different. My recommendation!

Food is okay but not impressive. Ordered udon noodles, didn’t feel satisfied with the flavor. Udon lost its chewy texture, can’t tell if it’s fresh enough. Sauce was a little bit too strong for me, but just for me. Don’t know which part went wrong but felt like it could be improved.

Products are not prepared as stated on the menu. We ordered two dishes including wild herb salad to pick up, but the salad was missing. When asked, it was said that this has no longer been available since June 2024. This should definitely be corrected on the local map and online! The food itself is tasty and ready to pick up quickly.

Staff is friendly but speaks poor German. Service is ok and you can tell from the furniture in the restaurant that it is a bit old. The food is tasty, but the price-performance ratio has once been better.

Was there for lunch. The service was very friendly and quick. The portions are good even with the smaller lunch menu. The food is fresh and very tasty. I'll definitely come back.

I'm only deducting the service a little because we arrived quite late and they obviously didn't feel like serving us in the restaurant at all, but again we ordered the most expensive dish on the menu and it was amazing, beautifully presented too . A great experience! Thank you, the chef left immediately after we ordered (that's how late we were there) so I can still say that he still conjured up a fantastic meal for us. But packing up was the key word for salvation and I hope that we were still able to provide satisfactory service.

I ended up here by chance after a long hike. The veggie platter was prepared quickly, beautifully presented, super tasty and really filled (me up). The staff was very friendly and even charged my cell phone, which only had 5% battery left. For this reason, I unfortunately couldn't take a photo, but I was able to continue my journey with my cell phone charged and use the navigation system again. Thank you!

Great food, in my opinion the best sushi in Göttingen. In terms of price it is also better than Gāmie. The freestyle sushi in particular is different every time.

As a Sushi fan, I can highly recommend that Busumo has the best fish quality in town. The rice is also very well marinated and soft. The sauces are tasty. I eat there almost every weekend. You should also try their homemade drinks. Busumo staff are nice and attentive too. There is no doubt of giving this place 5 out of 5.

I find it shocking and a shame that you can only pay at the front of the exit so that the boss who has installed a camera can also see it from home or on vacation

Ambiance is okay, but the pictures on the wall with cooked food are more reminiscent of a snack bar. The food came quickly and the service was good. It was also relatively tasty, but that certain spice was missing.

I always order food to pick up. It's absolutely delicious and the waiting time between ordering and picking up is a maximum of 20 minutes. I find the prices to be rather high, but justified.

Ein kleineres Restaurant mit etwas in die Jahre gekommenden Mobilar. Es war nicht voll; nach dem Bringen des Essens wurden wir kaum beachtet. Es wurde offensichtlich viel außer Haus bestellt. Die Sushiplatte fand ich sehr lecker und ausreichend. Leider bekam mein Mann seine Gericht (Nudeln mit Ente) sehr viel früher serviert. Wir hätten gern gemeinsam gegessen.

Es war einfach toll. Wir waren als Freundesgruppe dort und haben uns eine Sushi-Platte bestellt. Es ging super schnell, war lecker und Preisleistungsverhältnis war super.

Sehr cool gestaltetes Restaurant. Leider war die Bedienung nicht so auf Zack wir hatten lange Wartezeiten, weshalb wir uns dann auch entschlossen nichts weiter im Busumo zu trinken. Aber das Sushi war absolut lecker der Koch versteht sein Handwerk, auch das Gericht meiner Freundin war super. Alles drum und dran kann man empfehlen und ich denke das mit der Bedienung war nur eine Momentaufnahme. Deshalb ein Stern Abzug.

Habe gut gegessen, es wurde nicht viel nach mir gesehen, so kam es auch zu keiner Nachbestellung und die Zahlung war nur in bar möglich (leider aktuell nicht mehr zeitgemäß zumal für ein eigentlich modern wirkendes Restaurant)

Sehr höflicher Service, schnelle Bedienung und Zubereitung vom Sushi am offenen Tresen. Essen wird sehr liebevoll angerichtet, es gibt ausreichend Auswahl an vegetarischen Variationen (eine vegetarische Pho ohne Rindebrühe wäre noch das I-Tüpfelchen, ansonsten Alternativen in allen Kategorien). Toiletten sind schlicht, aber sauber. Bei einem Gericht kam es bei der Bestellung zu einem Missverständnis, es wurde umstandslose gegen das richtige getauscht und sehr schnell serviert.

Das Restaurant bietet eine große Auswahl an Sushi an und anderen Mahlzeiten . Das Essen wurde sehr schnell zubereitet und ist sehr lecker , aber etwas teuer .

Leckeres Sushi ! Vor allem die Tempura Rolls sind empfehlenswert. Essen wurde schön angerichtet, Service und Location waren top. Wir haben draußen gesessen und es war recht ruhig.

Wir waren sonntagabends im Busumo essen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich und wir haben sehr gut gegessen.

Fusions Küche. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung, super sauberes Lokal. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich und durchweg lecker. Teilweise sind die Gerichte sehr hübsch dekoriert. Waren mit einer größeren Gruppe dort zum Essen. Ging alles zügig und unkompliziert. Kommen gerne wieder. Preis - Leistung ist in Ordnung.

Das war die beste Ente die ich jemals gegessen habe, sie ist jeden Cent Wert!!! Frisches knackiges Gemüse und leicht scharfe Soße, ich kann das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Excellentes Essen! Nur ist der Begriff Mittagsmenue falsch, da ein Menue eine Vorspeise bzw ein Dessert beinhaltet. Beides gibt es nicht, daher besser den Begriff Mittagskarte verwenden.

Wie immer sehr lecker, war seit dem Umbau nicht mehr dagewesen. Aber an der Qualität hat sich nichts geändert. Hatten ein Mittagsmenü mit Tofu für 8.90€ sehr lecker und ein Rindfleisch Gericht auch lecker. Immer zu empfehlen ist sind die Alkoholfreien smoothis, vorallem Limette-Erdbeere. Nur dafür lohnt es sich hierher zu kommen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Zu Besuch in Göttingen und Lust auf Sushi, da haben wir uns für dieses Restaurant entschieden. Der Service war Weltklasse und das Essen gut.

Super lecker das Essen, das Personal ist so schnell in der Zubereitung, egal wie voll der Laden ist, es ist das schnellste Restaurant in der Zubereitung was ich persönlich bisher erlebt habe... Genial wäre es, wenn es ein Kundenbindungsprogramm hätte z.b. das von myWorld, dann könnte man als Kunde Cashback und Punkte sammeln ebenso könnte das Restaurant auch seine Stammkunden registrieren und bei den vielen anderen Partnern Vorort und Online noch mehr Vorteile anbieten.

Der Service war sehr freundlich und zügig. Das Essen hat uns sehr geschmeckt. Ich kann ein Besuch bei Busumonur empfehlen. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen.

Am liebsten würde ich immer nur hier essen gehen, wenn die Freunde und Familie das mitmachen würden. Angenehme und nette Athmosphäre, Essen kommt sehr schnell, auch wenn der Laden voll ist. Und alles sehr lecker und appetitlich.
