Very good food, great service, would gladly return

We were there with a group of 10 people. The food was of good quality. The hosts were very friendly. They took their time, even after closing time. And at the end of the evening, we had a quick chat with the staff present. We really enjoyed ourselves. Keep up the good work, and we'll definitely be back next year.

We had lunch with our children at the Bürgerstüble and had a wonderful time! There's a lovely playground outside, and inside, there's a Uno card game to pass the time. We received very friendly and prompt service, and the food was truly delicious, and the prices were fair. The Bürgerstüble is a bit hidden and therefore not easy to find, but it's worth it!

Very friendly and welcoming service. The schnitzel was freshly prepared and pounded to order. The homemade hunter's sauce is excellent. Generous portions, absolutely fair prices. A small but fresh menu, just as it should be. The salads are also very good, and the kids' dishes with large potato fries were a hit with all the kids. At the end, the kids even got a lollipop. Great, thank you very much. If you like good, home-style cooking, this is the place for you.

The new tenants are very hard-working and very friendly. It's nice that the bowling alley is still operating. The menu is down-to-earth, and the prices are moderate. The dishes were beautifully presented and tasted good. However, the pricing should be reconsidered for some dishes: the rösti tasted good, but at €15, it's definitely too expensive. We'd be happy to come back anyway; there were other delicious dishes. 😊

Indescribably good! We stopped by spontaneously after a tour of the Black Forest. We received a warm welcome and prompt and super-friendly service. We had schnitzel, Zurich-style schnitzel, and a salad. The bread from the salad was crisp, and the salad not only looked delicious, it was delicious, too. Fresh and crispy, too. Anyone with a certain affinity for salad dressings should definitely try this one; it's a dream! The audibly freshly pounded schnitzel was an absolute dream, I love it! The schnitzel with rösti is also highly recommended! Did I mention the salad?! I definitely have to go back! Highly recommended, and the hosts are such lovely people who really put their heart and soul into their food. See you soon and keep up the good work. Thanks for the delicious evening!

Worst restaurant I've ever been to. Food and drinks were brought incorrectly or not at all. And on top of that, the food was bad. Worst experience of my life, absolutely not recommended. Three out of four people got stomach upset after eating that stuff. If I could, I'd give it -5 stars.

A restaurant in the basement of a multi-purpose hall from the 1970s – not exactly a great starting point. But: incredibly delicious and, above all, fresh food – ordering a schnitzel is followed by knocking sounds from the kitchen. I'd give it six stars for that. Highly recommended!

A bit outside the city center, with not the coziest terrace. The service was excellent and the food was great. I had the Bauernbratwurst and my wife the Natur Schnitzel Natur. Both were very tasty. The fries were deliciously seasoned.

Wanted to order takeaway food. The waitress turned me away when the restaurant was half full, saying they were too busy. I can't fully understand it. I would have liked to come back at a later date, or at least they would have taken my order and I would have picked it up later. That would have been much friendlier and more solution-oriented.

A great opportunity to stop here when you get hungry 😊. The selection of food and drinks is more than sufficient, whether it's a burger or a schnitzel, everything is included. Lovingly prepared, what more do you need 😂. There is also a bowling alley if you want to have a quiet bowl... The prices are great, just like the operators who put their heart and soul into it!

High quality food for a fairly calculated price. Friendly and frangible ;-) hosts. We enjoyed both the tarte flambée and the schnitzel with fried potatoes so much that we will definitely come back to eat again as long as we are in the Black Forest.

We would like to give 0 stars. We were greeted very unfriendly and simply asked to leave because we didn't make a reservation. The restaurant looked quite empty and with 2 people you could probably have looked for a solution (either X amount of time before you have to leave, or come back at X o'clock so you can then eat).

Quaint restaurant with pub character and very friendly service. The food is very cheap and the portion is appropriate for the price, but large enough. The drinks are also a little cheaper than the current price level.

It's a shame because the service was really good and made an effort. But I left.the.restaurant.with a headache because dinner was at almost 10 p.m That was just too late. Thank you, but it remains a one-off visit.

Einmal im Jahr bin ich im Schwarzwald - und dann fahre ich auch gerne 30 Kilometer Umweg um hier zu essen. Touristen trifft man hier kaum - aber das Restaurant ist voll mit Einheimischen . Egal ob Burger oder Schnitzel- alles frisch und lecker. Auf jeden Fall sollte man den Beilagensalat dazu bestellen - lohnt sich ! Vielen Dank an die tollen Wirtsleute Marika und Peter!

The tarte flambée was very tasty. Very friendly service. Run by a married couple, we had to be patient because there were a lot of guests. But there is a playground that shortens the children's time.

Sind am Nachmittag eingekehrt aufgrund der Lage unserer Pension und müder Füße. Hatten 🍻 Wein Salat Burger und Schnitzel. Alles gut und preiswert, nette Wirtsleute.

Zufällig gefunden und als echter Tipp zu empfehlen. Ich mach das nicht oft, aber hier mit Überzeugung. Unglaublich freundlich die beiden Betreiber und Fachleute vom „alten Schlag“! Perfekter Weiderindburger und super Pommes! Bier vom Fass!! Preise, die eigentlich zu günstig sind für diese Qualität. Das Ambiente wie in einem Sportheim aber da fühlt man sich trotzdem wie am Stammtisch gleich daheim! Dieses Land braucht viel mehr dieser sympathischen Enthusiasten und Gastronomen, denen es nicht um das Geld, sondern um die Gäste geht!

Außergewöhnlich leckere Burger mit toller fruchtiger Sauce. Auch die Currywurst war sehr gut, nur die Spätzle mit Soße waren etwas fad. Definitiv empfehlenswert.

Bürgerstüble Übersichtliche Speisekarte z.B. Burger, Schnitzel, Flammkuchen Salat war frisch gemacht, nichts aus der Dose. Burger war richtig lecker und alles frische Zutaten,kann man auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Schöner Außenbereich vorhanden, bei uns war leider das Wetter nicht so gut, daher haben wir drinnen gesessen. Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Nachdem wir vor zwei Jahren schon einmal hier waren und drinnen gegessen haben, konnten wir dieses Jahr bei herrlichem Wetter auf der Terasse sitzen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und das Essen wurde uns schnell gebracht. Der Burger war ganz hervorragend, die Pommes knusprig. Das Ganze gab es dann noch zu einem sehr günstigen Preis. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Unfreundlicher Empfang da wir über die Terrasse gekommen sind das typisch Deutsch mit Flatterband abgesteckt war. Wollten hier gerne eine Kleinigkeit Essen/trinken jedoch mit kleinen Hund auf der Terrasse NICHT möglich. Naja hier hat man es nicht mehr nötig selbst nach der Coronazeit Gäste zu empfangen anscheinend waren die Bundeszahlungen zu gut. Ich habe Verständnis mit Hund nicht im Gastraum empfangen zu werden jedoch auf der Terrasse die ja jetzt auch nicht gerade klein ist nicht nachvollziehbar.
