I haven't seen such a run-down and dirty fast food restaurant in a long time. The icing on the cake was the service staff behind the counter, who was either deaf and dumb or simply didn't feel like communicating verbally with the guests. According to the motto hand signals and moving your head is enough. There was another guest in the restaurant with me, and a third person joined us during the meal. She didn't say a word to any of the three of us. I work as a manager in the catering industry myself, I would never have hired an employee like that, or at the latest after the incident this morning. I am aware that it is relatively difficult to find service staff for the catering industry in Germany at the moment, no question. To describe the young woman as listless would really be an embellishment. Today I also complained about this company on Burger King's homepage and then looked at the reviews afterwards. I don't know if they at Burger King headquarters read the reviews about their franchisees, it would certainly be appropriate. This company is completely torn apart, but rightly so. This is a prime example of why Burger King has such a bad reputation in Germany. You should send a district manager there and really clean it up, even if the franchisee doesn't feel like doing that. This operation is a declaration of bankruptcy for the Burger King company.

Just as it should be...clean toilets too

So that's a lousy place... Burger was hard, Cola was scorching hot... Tables were incredibly dirty... It felt like 35 degrees in the restaurant and the air was stuffy... Burger King shame on you!

Disaster! There was no sense of organization. We still somehow felt sorry for the staff, they were completely overwhelmed.

Burgers and fries were ok. There is no free toilet here and you have to pay €1. That's a disgrace! For customers who pay €30, they also have to charge money for something like that.

After 4 head meals --> paid a lot for the portions to be all children's menu size. In addition, you pay €1 for the toilet / just to wash your hands, despite it being a restaurant / (only food is sold. It is questionable whether this is right) It's a shame to have to pay extra for this!!!

Toilet doesn't work, the whole BK is ultra dirty, the staff is not very accommodating. If I have an extra request, I should go through the drive...

Never seen such a disgusting Burger King. I ordered fries, churros & a Coke. After waiting patiently for 15 minutes, I was given my food and an empty cup to fill myself. When I looked in the bag before leaving, I saw that my french fries sauce was missing. So back to the issue to get the missing sauces. I explained my “problem” - the problem was then... The good lady didn't understand me because she didn't speak German. After a lot of back and forth I finally got the sauce. On the highway I discovered that the Coke was natural and without any carbonation. The fries came with a free stomach ache from hell! So the churros ended up in the trash with the rest of the Coke! ~10€ for the bin. -,- The toilet, for which you have to pay a euro, cannot be flushed and the sink overflowed because the drain didn't work.

Disaster I waited for about 20 minutes. Even though there were no customers and a lot of staff, when it was ready, they didn't even call, they just placed it on the counter and that's it. But I think it's the shift manager's fault, he just walked around and shouted at his employees, so I'm not surprised that the service sucks. I won't stop here for a meal or coffee again

Food was as expected from a fast food restaurant. Point deducted because iced tea came from the Sprite tap. I didn't get anywhere with the stupid ordering terminal. An employee then did it for me. Thanks . BUT everything around it is terrible. Glue floors and tables. The outside area is dirty, hardly any tables or chairs. Not inviting and not hygienic either

The dirtiest and run down Burger King we have ever visited.

Food is ok as any other burger king. The staff are super nice and friendly, especially Valeria, she is super nice and made our long road trip feel less tiring.

Fries were cold. I can't say whether the tables were clean.

Pay as a customer to use the toilet??? Ridiculous!!

The fire alarm beeped, it smelled burning and the whole room was full of smoke and yet no one opened the door so that fresh air could come in. Unfortunately, the drinks tasted old because the carbonation was out. That wasn't a nice experience.

This was just a stop on my way to Nuremberg. I’ve never seen a more disgusting Burger King. Trash in and outside everywhere on the ground. Spilled stuff on the counter and below. I’ve ordered at the screen because there was no one behind the counter. Drinks had no carbonation, toilet was 1 Euro. I could not even wash my hands. Outside was like a garbage dump. This was abysmal.

Dirty tables, long waiting times and toilets for €1 are rather mediocre.

If it was freshly prepared, it could be a coincidence, but it is much better than if it was in the warming counter

It wasn't possible to order at the counter because no one really spoke German, Cola was very warm and non-carbonated and tasted like juice!, Burgers were very cold, juice shop!!! Then as now, simply the worst restaurant in the area!

The worst Burger King I've visited. Long waiting time, ventilation and air conditioning system defective, resulting in extremely warm and unpleasant smell from frying in the kitchen. Drinks to pour yourself were warm and the ice machine was broken. Staff, presumably because they are overworked or on instructions from the boss, do not serve drinks from the functional machine, only after a complaint has been made. Another customer wanted to order at the counter: the answer was not possible?!

Quite nice service, unfortunately the rest wasn't so good...

Very full. We only did TG, cleaned the disabled toilet, the floor in the guest room was dirty due to the many visitors, napkins were lying around downstairs, progress was slow at the terminals, you weren't allowed to order at the counter, service was unfriendly and overwhelmed with the customers. Dining room too small for being on a busy highway.

Bad luck, you can't order at the counter. If you can't get along on the board, there's nothing to eat. Tool.

No matter when you come there is never a milkshake and Clean is something different. Personally, I don't know whether it's part of the decoration or whether the staff doesn't feel like it, but there are leftover food and packaging all over the floor. The last time we asked if the table could be cleaned we were only told if it wasn't right we should clean it ourselves.

The freshly made cheesy bacon lover beef double was dry and not well put together. I know it much better from other BKs. Some chairs outside were broken. Child seat greasy. Counter staff helpful but “I have to ask the boss” about additions to the children's menu (extra cup for €2.50). So OK, but better eat somewhere else.

Oh dear. There was nothing there. Untidy, slow, many things not available.

The food is better than the another fast food in this region. But the soft drink was not of good quality. In the past, everyone could pour their own ice cube and soft drinks. That's no longer possible. My Coke was not cold and not carbonated. One disadvantage is that you have to pay one euro per person to enter the toilet.

Very dirty, there's rubbish everywhere, tables haven't been wiped down, it's sad that something like this passes for a rest stop. And the toilet costs extra too.

Staff friendly and courteous and helpful even though I was annoyed. Before I eat I want to wash my hands. You have to use the toilet in the gas station for 1 euro. This will not be charged either.

A nice Burger King With nice employees

Will avoid it in the future, I was in the drive in, 3 cars in front of me 30 minutes until it was my turn to order, food was luke warm. The entrance was also difficult to see. The young man was nice, but there was no excuse for waiting long.

This Burger King location is not portable. Been there twice and it's getting worse. It's extremely unhygienic and the staff can also rub their shoes while walking. It's best to stop somewhere else, the descent is absolutely not worth it.

Rude staff, the ordering machine doesn't work properly and it's annoying. When asked to help me, they simply say they don't feel like it! After a while the order went and the cola was non-carbonated and the fries and burgers were cold. Very rude and unfriendly!

Waited 30 minutes at the drive in as the only car, supposedly all hell broke out inside, said the employee. We drove on full of food - there were a maximum of 4 customers inside. Absolutely loads of juice, and when you get to it, half of the food is always missing anyway

Fast food located on the side of the highway before the Czech border, the only restaurant open late until 11:00 p.m. with an ARAL gas station located in front. There's no comment on the quality of the dishes because it is a fast food restaurant, so it must respect the chain's recipe. The service is fast despite the last rush shortly before closing.

No Burgerking toilet. You have to go to the Aral toilet and it costs €1. Didn't even stock up on toilet paper or soap...

Apparently the difference between vanilla and chocolate is not known, the shake in a reusable cup was first poured into a disposable cup and then refilled (why even offer reusable ones?), ordering at the terminal was 80 cents more expensive when paying for some unknown reason, the toilet was 1€? Food isn't that great either. Don't come back.

Citizens and fries were ok. But: At the time we were there there were 3-4 tables occupied. The remaining tables were also occupied, but with leftover food. No table was found that was clean. So we quickly clean a table with napkins. When I came back from the toilet, I ordered another burger. I said that all the tables were dirty and there were no more towels in the toilet. She said in a choked voice: They don't have anyone available to clean the house. Service looks different. If there's nothing going on, you can quickly clean a few tables instead of constantly talking to your colleague. We won't be coming back!

It's simply unbelievable how difficult it is for this employee to remember 3 things - something is always missing - but that's understandable given the proportion of foreigners

I like to eat there every now and then because it tastes good. I know that in all similar fast-food restaurants, orders are placed via these display terminals, but it would take longer and it would be easier if you could just say what you wanted to order.

I have to mention two positive things today. Once there was a young employee with short, dark hair who was entering the order for a 75-year-old person on the touch terminal. This is not at all obvious and so accommodating! Great, 5 stars for him! Furthermore, the Kings Emmental beef today was fresh and properly prepared and the fries were nice and crispy. All I can say about the ambience is that it felt like the tables weren't wiped and all the garbage carts were full even though there weren't 5 people in the restaurant and the drive-in wasn't overcrowded either. I've had that impression many times.

It's a disgrace that despite the 30€ bill for the meal, the toilet has to be paid for with 1€!!! And the statement from the staff doesn't make it any better: "the toilets belong to the gas station" When asked where are your toilets, you offer food, you must have a toilet: “I don't know, I don't know anything about it” is just unbelievable and outrageous

Just don't stop here. Fries were just small leftovers. You have long waiting times. Staff unmotivated, it's best to fire them completely. Small fries €3.29? Are you crazy? Never again 🤮

Toilets cost 1 euro and you don't even get a consumption coupon. You can't even wash your hands after eating. Atmosphere right next to the gas station isn't that pleasant either. The ordering terminal is completely confusing. Food was OK.

Food came very quickly, burgers were of the usual quality - taste and appearance were very good.

No cash register operation possible, only via the terminal. Whopper topped with half an onion. Inside no climate, felt like 30 degrees, outside unkempt and getting old.

Just eat a Burger King. Ordering from the machine is inconvenient, eating typical fast food, no more drinks to refill... All in all it hasn't gotten any better.

NEVER come here again, go to the nearest Burger King! Saturday afternoon fries sold out. Promotional burger also not available. The next day I had diarrhea and the sauce was probably not stored correctly. Tables terribly dirty, the floor is also wet and sticky. Toilet for 1 EUR, without getting a voucher - I've never seen it so expensive on a motorway. As a consuming customer, I expect it to be free, or possibly a small flat rate on the Autobahn. But it wouldn't be justified in terms of "hygiene". If you have to wash your hands before eating and want to wash your hands after a burger, do you pay 8 EUR for toilet? Can not be! Luckily I have long arms to reach the sink without paying again... I won't even talk about the ambience, we had to search forever to even find the entrance to the construction site. Definitely 0 stars, the worst Burger King I've ever experienced. In my opinion, the health department would have to be sent there to close the store.

Really authentic restaurant, just as bad as you'd expect. The comments absolutely reflect the company philosophy. The toilet costs 1 euro and the order is not complete. Of course, the location is also worth seeing because it is as dirty as people report about it. Definitely recommended 👍

I've been waiting for over 30 minutes now, which unfortunately can't be the case, especially if people who came later get their orders before me.

This is by far the worst fast food place I have ever visited. Fries are sold out on Saturday lunchtime!!!!! And the delivery won't come until next week!!!! It's like running out of fuel at the gas station. The restaurant and the sanitary facilities are underground! Here I'm not talking about everything having to be clinically clean - it would be enough to wipe down the tables and remove the coarse dirt from the floor! Spider webs in the restaurant area may also be removed. The store should actually be closed.

Billing part 1 Hello Mr King, Please take a quick look at my customer account. What, almost 40 years of being a customer? Sales to date approx. 10,000.00? Did it taste good? Yes, of course - otherwise I wouldn't be here. But the fact that you no longer have your own toilets in Herriefen is poor. And the fact that peeing in the Aral toilet costs ONE euro is just cheeky and has nothing to do with your approach, the Burger KING.

I was actually looking forward to a double Whopper, but the service here is subpar. Because I couldn't handle the electronic ordering (I've never had any problems with it at McDonalds), I stood at the counter. I stood there for a while, an employee wiped the counter with a rag, but no one was interested in me as a potential customer. Maybe it's better that way, I lost my appetite while watching anyway...

Food is okay, just Burger King. Everything else, from the ambience to the toilets to the service, is a disaster. It's better to keep driving and go to the next rest stop!

Difficult communication at the drive in... we had to wait a long time even though there was nothing going on. 2 out of 5 burgers were not properly topped, as plane is probably not that well known... ancient fries, which were also too salty. We turned around so the kids could get their real burgers. At first, due to ignorance, there was a discussion about whether the burgers were really good. When the management came, the employees were informed about what planning means. We got new burgers super quickly. The ambience cannot be rated as there is none..

We ordered at the drive-thru with a coupon which included 2 large Pomeranians and nuggets. Instead of the 2 large Pomeranians we got 2 small potato wedges and no nuggets at all. We only got our nuggets when we asked and then we were told that there were no more Pomeranians instead of telling us right away

Can't give a review about the food because I didn't even get any... The worst Burger King I've ever visited... The old one who worked there today should be fired immediately... You probably no longer need to appear friendly and orderly... Absolute failure of the scales...
