Büffel & Koi in Stuttgart

Best sushi Stuttgart for the price and the fried rolls are, not gonna lie, the best I've ever eaten in all of Stuttgart. Unfortunately, after all this time, I have to deduct stars because, in my opinion, vegan should and must always be SEPARATED from non-vegan. Because otherwise it makes no sense to have a vegan option. SO as an information for the gentlemen and ladies from the restaurant, that is not clear. You have to let us know beforehand that it should be separated. However, I would encourage the company to at least ask on the phone whether they should separate them, as it is actually standard to separate them in other restaurants.

Great ambience, excellent food!!

Food was reasonable value and the makis tasted nice, however some of the nigiri left more to be desired. Overall an average takeaway experience. The spring rolls were tasty, however weirdly cut..

Here you can eat a fantastic Pho Bo but the sushi is also very fresh and served very attractively. The outdoor area is beautifully laid out and lit so that you have a nice atmosphere here in the evenings, especially in summer.

We've been there several times and the food and service have always been excellent.

Food was good, service was friendly, unfortunately the dining room was a bit dingy and the toilets were very dirty. There is a lot of room for improvement there.

We ended up here by chance because of the good reviews on Google. Not very inviting from the outside, because the hotel next to it is really ugly. The Büffel & Koi, on the other hand, is great inside and out. Delicious food and great service are impressive. Attention: Very busy, so make a reservation in advance if necessary!

We put together a sushi platter and it was really beautifully presented. The sushi was also delicious. As a drink we can recommend the Guava Lava. It gets quieter at the intersection in the evenings and the ambience is nicer.

Eat good. Unfortunately, service can be improved very much. Misunderstood orders twice. Drinks are ready at the bar until they are almost warm again. The waiters walk past it countless times. There is still room for improvement!

Very welcoming and thriving restaurant in the center of Vaihingen. The food was very tasty and the service was quick and friendly despite being busy. The restaurant tolerated the renovation very well and can therefore definitely be recommended.

Great food! Like many sushi/Asian restaurants, it's not super cheap, but the value for money is TOP!! The food is extremely beautifully and tasty, the homemade drinks (iced teas) are really delicious. The sushi is super great 🍣 the service is very nice.

The food was very tasty and there were some vegan options - which I was very happy about. What struck me as particularly positive was the cooperation in service. You felt very comfortable. Not intrusive, but very attentive and accommodating.

My experience at Buffalo and Koi Sushi Restaurant was disappointing. Despite the solid quality of the food, I only give it two stars due to the unprofessional service. The treatment by the staff was absolutely unacceptable and was very disappointing. The unfriendliness and slowness made the visit an imposition. The place also seemed uncomfortable and the floors were sticky. It is unfortunate that the dining experience is greatly marred by these negative aspects.

Very nice outdoor area, especially the many hanging lamps create a nice ambience. The inside is also very attractive, but you sit quite close to your neighbors at the table, which is not possible given the limited space inside. We really enjoyed the starters, and for the main course we had bowls and a large sushi platter. Everything was really good and rich. There is a really large selection of food. The prices are OK. The service was quick and very nice. What I didn't like was that the bench seats in the interior don't have a backrest. Although this saves space and looks stylish, it is not really comfortable.

Mega delicious - I was extremely impressed with the dishes - be sure to reserve in advance so that you don't get disappointed because there is no space available.

If you like to wait 30 minutes for your first drink and don't want to be spoken to by the staff once throughout the evening, this is the place for you. So nobody seems to want tips. The food was really extremely tasty and well prepared. I don't understand this discrepancy in service.

It's not the most elegant ambience. But it will 100% be done well again with the delicious food and the very fair prices. We will be back definitely!

We had reserved and were really looking forward to the great food and ambience advertised. But after just a few minutes we left in shock. We arrived with another group, were greeted in front of the bar with German rap (Bushido Ersguterjunge) at full volume and then stood in the entrance area for 10 minutes. During this time, 4-5 people stood behind the bar, the deli counter and in front of the counter but were simply not interested in the 5 waiting guests. Then an employee happily started eating behind the deli counter, which was already filled with fish (hygienically questionable). German rap was still playing at full volume and no one was interested in the waiting guests present. The straw that broke the camel's back was the look into the kitchen behind the deli counter, where an older gentleman with a cigarette in his mouth came into view several times. Hygienic and personal a 0/10. Then we went to another really cute sushi restaurant in Vaihingen. I can't say anything about the food, but I would advise anyone not to visit Büffel&Koi!

Were there to eat. Food is really very tasty. Prices okay too. Unfortunately, the tables are very close, so the noise level is loud and it's not easy to have a conversation yourself and it's virtually impossible to block out the conversation from the neighboring table. Would only come back in summer when you can sit outside and hopefully it will be more spread out.

Very good shop, unfortunately the menu is a bit manageable. But the bowls are great. Nice to sit outside in summer.

A nice restaurant with a large outdoor terrace. The furnishings have a nice Asian touch, but are still modern. The food was also very tasty. In my opinion the service could have been more attentive. I also didn't like the reaction from the service when I told them that I had a hair in my food. People just looked at me like: “Now what?!” I then pushed the bowl away and only then did they ask if I would like another soup. No apology or anything... I also don't think it's a nice way to sit down at the table with the whole crew and talk loudly in Vietnamese. If you would like to close, then say so and collect.

Addendum, we were there again in January 2024. Food great again. It was just incredibly cold there, so a thick jacket and a blanket would be great Therefore only 2 stars for the ambience, sorry Food really fantastic It was quite busy and instead of salmon there was tuna

Very tasty sushi 🍣 🍣, very nicely prepared food, great plates and the bowls also looked very appetizing. Unfortunately very loud and sometimes uncomfortable. Friendly staff and nice service.

Everything is actually right here! The food is absolutely great (starters and sushi) and the service is nice and not intrusive. Either way, the ambience is awesome! Great design. I think it's really tasty and would come here again and again. Young and old meet here and the food is really healthy

Wir haben uns anhand der guten Rezensionen dazu entschlossen in dieses Restaurant zu gehen und es hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt! Essen war sehr lecker, sowie die Vorspeisen. Außerdem hat es genug gesättigt und hatte die perfekte Menge! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie haben Witze gemacht, waren immer nett und haben uns sogar einen Bambus-Strohhalm mitnehmen lassen! Ambiente war sehr schön. War japanisch/asiatisch eingerichtet und hat einen ruhigen und entspannenden Eindruck gemacht! Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen! Dieses Restaurant wird uns auf jeden Fall öfters sehen!

Eigentlich tolles Ambiente. Die Suppe war super, leider war unser Sushi (selbst frittiertes) kalt. Somit konnten wir unser Essen leider nicht genießen. Unsere Gläser waren ebenfalls dreckig. Früher war es dort anders… leider.

Wenn man den Laden betritt, riecht es im Entrée leicht feucht bzw. faulig. Doch die stimmige Einrichtung, das frische Essen und der freundlich pragmatische Service machen den Besuch lohnenswert. Die Preise sind für die Qualität der Speisen angemessen, was heißt dass man für 25€ satt wird. Kinderfreundlich.

We didn't try warm dishes but only sushi and sashimi. The portion was just right for 2 of us, although I noticed that the sushi and rolls were a bit smaller than the other Asian restaurant. Also the rolls were not finely made according to Japanese sushi chef standard. However, the price was reasonable. About the service and staffs....... The staffs were friendly but still need more training. The night we were there was almost full house, since we had reservation, we were quickly been led to our table and got the menu. It was a bit tricky and confusing for us in ordering food. First, there were at least 3 standing next to the bar, and 2 were walking around to take care of the bills for the other tables, anyway, we had to wait for a young man to take our order while the others were standing there doing nothing/ I don't know what, I even saw there were 2 staffs taking the photos of themselves because they had Xmas deco on their head. Can they do that after business hour? or when all the guests have been attentively served? I was going to give 2 stars to the service, fortunately, they have earned one more star at the end for taking care our bill in the reasonable time frame. Btw, I didn't like the Jasmine tea I've ordered. The way the tea was presented was not good for brewing the tea, when the water temperature is not hot enough, the aroma can't fully be extracted out. Also the tea bowl was sticky outside that I can hardly hold it up.

Asiatische Fusion Küche in sehr guter Qualität. Man kann über Sushi zu bowles alles bestellen, was gerade angesagt ist und das ist wirklich hervorragend zubereitet. Dazu hat man eine coole Atmosphäre, sitzt nicht unbedingt besonders bequem, aber sehr schön.

Slow service and very mediocre food. It was the experience of the whole restaurant tonight.

Das Restaurant ist recht cool eingerichtet. Es ist sehr wusselig, viel Personal springt rum. Wir wurden nicht von einer Servicekraft "bedient" sondern mehreren. Vorspeise kam und sofort der Hauptgang dazu, dass fand ich nicht so toll. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Lediglich der Hinweis, dass in der Suppe frischer Koriander ist hat gefehlt. So hatte ich leider ein etwas seifiges Suppenerlebnis. Nicht jeder Mensch schmeckt Koriander wirklich gut. Es gibt Menschen, für die schmeckt Koriander wie Seife. Alles in allem war es für mich persönlich "ganz okay" . Schlussendlich wurde ist mir zu laut, junge Menschen vertragen das vielleicht besser. 😉

Hervorragendes asiatisches Essen zu fairen Preisen. Die Portionen sind angemessen. Mir hat es sehr gefallen, definitiv eine Empfehlung!

Das Ambiente ist schön - allerdings find ich die Hocker ohne Lehne auf Dauer unbequem. Das Essen war super lecker, wir hatten die Charlie Brown Bowl und Tokyo Drift mit Udonnudeln. War beides wirklich gut! Nur der Service war nicht so toll. Wir wurden 1 Stunde nicht mehr angesprochen, ob wir noch etwas trinken wollen...

Das Essen war lecker. Die Gestaltung des Restaurants könnte schöner/asiatischer und der Service könnte besser sein. Leider fühlt man sich bei vollem Restaurant wie in einer Bahnhofshalle, da der Geräuschpegel durch fehlende Deko o.ä. enorm ist und man sein Gegenüber nicht versteht.

Meinem Mann waren die Sitze zu hart!!! Er musste aufstehen und das Essen mitnehmen

War zum zweiten mal dort, dass erste mal auf toilette hier. Essen ist gut, gibts nichts zu meckern. Aufmachung vom konzept hip, orientiert sich halt an dem was sich gut verkauft mit asiatischem touch. Service, wie viele schreiben, gemütlich. Man muss unverhältnismäßig lang auf essen warten meiner meinung. Das kenn ich von vergleichbaren etablisments nicht. Was aber gar nicht geht, ist die herrentoilette. Um 17:30 uhr ist das die mit abstand ekligste toilette, die ich bisher gesehen habe (abgesehen von festival toiletten). Sie ist dreckig und stinkt und es waren sehr viele insekten darin.

Leckeres Essen bei tollen Ambiente (war bisher nur im Außenbereich).

Wir waren heute da, nachdem wir es zufällig entdeckt haben beim Vorbeifahren. Tolle Auswahl an Gerichten. Schöne Mischung und faire Preise. Wir hatten Ramen und Sushi, dies war sehr lecker. Auch die Homemade Eistees waren toll. Wir saßen draussen um 17 Uhr ein top Biergarten. Uns hat es super gefallen. Freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal.

Das Essen ist sehr gut und ansprechend angerichtet auf den Tellern oder in den Schüsseln. Allerdings sind die Bänke draußen sehr unbequem und dies merkt man mit der Zeit am Gesäß!!! Die Bedienung war nett hat uns allerdings 2 Mal vergessen. Die bestellten Getränke ließen auch sehr auf sich warten. Cocktails sind zu teuer!

Moderner Laden und Leute. Die Bedienung an unserem heutigen Besuch war super. Bei den letzten beiden Besuchen war ein mal davon sogar ein Totalausfall im Service - absolut frech. Insofern beobachten ob es hier schwankt. Dennoch bewerte ich hiermit lediglich den heutigen Besuch. Die Vorspeisen habe gut geschmeckt und die Hauptgerichte noch besser. Gute frische Produkte die verwendet werden. Als einziges, die Mochis sind ok aber irgendwie doch enttäuschend Draußen bei gutem Wetter war in jedem fall ganz schön. Die Sitzgelegenheiten ohne Lehne sind natürlich auf Dauer nicht bequem. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder. 4 Personen 176€. Allerdings zu beachten, wir hatten 10 Drinks, insofern ;).

Sehr entspannte Atmosphäre und super Sushi!
