Very friendly, food good, sometimes something different than other Vietnamese restaurants, prices fair - portions are quite small though, so you won't really get full.

My favorite shop for years, some with Vietnamese cuisine. Very friendly service and mom and daughter cook really delicious food.

I eat in many Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin, but this one is very special. The dishes are very tasty, very fresh meat and vegetables, delicious sauces. I highly recommend the double fried beef dish. Plus a friendly waitress. And a very tasteful interior. So everything is great. See you next time.

We came in late on Friday afternoon and were served with a warm smile. Everything was cooked fresh, the broth was delicious and the artichoke tea a treat. Two Vietnamese coffees to end with and we were very happy. We returned two days later with a friend who lives nearby.

Price and food are good, but their service is not great. I mean, like, very simple stuff.

Passed the place and a lady popped out, starting to sprint like trying to collect an olympic medal. Some distance down the road she handed a phone to 2 people. Instead of just waiting for them to eventually collect it, the moment was seized and someone quite literally went out of their way. Stars alone for that ;)

I've been to many Vietnamese restaurantsbut here's the best one:) Everyone in this restaurant was so kind and the food was awsome. It was taste so good and cooked evenly. The mood was so calm and comfortable. (The Chanson was playing on the radio, I really loved that!) Highly recommend and I'm gonna visit here again. Thank you👍🏻

The duck I ordered was just breadcrumbs. Hardly any meat. After the complaint, the service lady claimed that it was always like that. Her mother also cooked like that. Then she'd better not eat there anymore.

Very tasty, everything was good, except for 2 big negative points: - There is far too little beef in the dish for my taste - And card payment not possible.

Excellent Vietnamese food. The pho was outstanding!

The avocado in the maki roll was rock hard and my child couldn't eat it. When we kindly pointed this out, no apology was offered or an alternative was offered, they simply said we had no alternatives... When we cleared away our children's chopsticks were also cleared away and could not be found again. No excuse here either... Not recommended with children or if you value politeness.

I love this place, quick service, food is always tasty, (I’ve tried maybe 1/4 of the menu at this point and have enjoyed it all), and really reasonably priced.

Sehr leckere Speisen, genau nach unserem Geschmack gewürzt. Restaurant war voll, wir hatten anscheinend bei der problemlosen online Buchung kurz vorher den letzten Tisch ergattert. Moderate Preise. Einziger Kritikpunkt : wir mussten eine Stunde auf das Essen warten und wir hatten Hunger ….

Best items here were the soups- appetizers were cold and underwhelming (spring rolls and dumplings) but the pho and bun bo hue were pretty good.

I was traveling in Germany and Austria two weeks, and my time at Bu Kon, based on the good reviews it has, was one of the worst dining experiences of the trip. I was the only person at the restaurant, around 4pm. After I finished my dish I smiled and raised my hand to the server. She was talking on her cell (something I didn't see), and waved me away. I waited 15 minutes as she continued to talk. No other staff members were around. Once she got off the phone, she told me that they had stopped serving food for the day, for reasons completely baffling to me. So I asked for the check. I think it's rude to take a personal call during your workday when you have one diner waiting for you. The food was pretty good.

Food is good and prices are great. A good place to stop while walking in this really nice neighborhood. You can pay with PayPal (or cash) only.

Das Team im Bu Kon, vom Service bis zur Küche, ist unfassbar freundlich und bemüht einem jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen im Bezug auf Speisen und Getränke. Alles schmeckt köstlich und ist mit Liebe zubereitet. Ich komme hier immer wieder gerne her. Zudem sind die Preise auch immer noch freundlich gestaltet 😊 Daumen hoch 👍

Very good Vietnamese food! I had the bun cha and the cha was excellent, both the marinade and the nearly perfect amount of char when grilled! My daughter's had the pho ga and the broth was very good! The iced Vietnamese coffee also tasted almost as good as It is in Vietnam :0)

Speise war nicht gut. Service war mangelhaft: es wurde versprochen dass der Tisch verlegt wurde. Danach nichts geschah. Beim Bezahlen wurde uns Trinkgeld sogar verlangt.

Bun Bo Hue, Bun Cha und Mangosalat sind riiichtig gut! Andere Gerichte wie z.b. frittierte Garnelen im Reismantel als Vorspeise, hatten bei uns spürbar Luft nach oben. Trotzdem immer wieder gerne :-)

Sehr schönes, kleines aber feines, Restaurant. Das Essen ist besonders lecker UND preiswert. Mein Freund Herbert empfiehlt außerdem stark, von dem roten Pesto zu kosten, was mit der Soja Sauce zusammen serviert wird. Liebe Grüße

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, die Mitarbeiter super freundlich und haben auch einen Blick für alles. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist ausreichend, auch nicht zu viel. Es war ganz lecker. Wir saßen 2h zu zweit und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Bukon ist das beste vietnamesische Restaurant in Prenzlauer Berg. Alle Speisen sind hervorragend und nach traditionellem Rezept zubereitet. Besonders lecker ist das Curry mit Rindfleisch und die Suppen. Service ist auch sehr freundlich

Waren in der letzten Zeit häufig da. Immer sehr leckeres Essen, auch die Suppen. Angenehme Atmosphäre. Superfreundliche Bedienung. Wir kommen wieder☺ Am 25.11.22 waren wir zu fünft wieder da. Genauso gut wie immer.

Sehr gutes asiatisches Restaurant im Prenzlauer Berg. Die Karte ist wie bei jedem Asiaten sehr ähnlich und bietet eine gute Auswahl an verschiedenen Gerichten zum Speisen an. Die Speisen hatten eine gute Qualität und waren sehr lecker. Das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut unschlagbar. Eigentlich schon fast zu günstig. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr klein und bieten nur wenigen Gästen einen Platz an.

Lecker, frisch, freundliches Personal, guter Service. Die Einrichtung inkl. der großen Fotos, in Kombination mit den Düften der Küchen nehmen einen mit auf eine Reise für alle Sinne.

Schönes Ambiente in einem tollen Kiez die einen vergessen zu lassen in Berlin zu sein.

Your food was yummy. I really enjoyed the starters including the prawn in sweet potato nests and the crispy breaded ones! 🍤 Yumm! :) My curry was okay - the flavours were good. I wish it was a bit hotter though. It was a rather cold day as well. My friends beef bun was good - he loved it!

Incredibly rude staff… watched them refuse a mother who asked if her toddler daughter could use the washroom and demanded to be paid in euros in order to allow them to use the facility… the restaurant was almost empty at the time. The food was marginal at best. You can easily do better at many other restaurant options nearby.

Gutes Essen zu guten Preisen. Besonders zu empfehlen ist die traditionelle Suppe Bun Bo Hue oder als Nachtisch Heiße Himbeeren mit Vanilleeis für nur 2,50€ Die Bedingungen sind auch sehr nett :)

This was surprisingly good! The food was super tasty, there's lots of choice - also for vegetarians. The drinks are delicious. Service was a little slow but the food&drinks make up for it.

Nice little place, however the Pho dishes were really unsatisfying and tasted like it was rather made with additives then acquired its taste from the actual food inside. The chicken didn’t taste like good quality meat. Starters were small and not worth it :(

The soup was ok, fair price, but not very substantial. We got wantons as well, which were very disappointing. Also, the chili isn't spicy.

Rund um den Prenzlauer Berg gibt es viele asiatische Restaurants. Bei unserem letzten Besuch waren wir zweimal im für uns neuen Bu Kon. Im kleinen Gastraum werden Familiengerichte serviert, „wie wir sie auch selber essen“. Das schmeckt der Gast und genießt die zunächst einfach wirkende Küche, die vor allem durch Kräuter, wie Koriander, und Gewürze authentisch rüberkommt. Wir mochten alle Speisen, die kräftige, wunderbare Hühnersuppe mit Reisbandnudeln und viel frischem Koriander ganz besonders. Straßenszenen an der Wand erinnern an Saigon. Beim nächsten Berlinbesuch kommen wir bestimmt wieder.

Leider bekommt man als Einzelperson keinen Tisch im Bu Kon. So kann ich das Essen nicht beurteilen, aber ich weiss, dass das Bu Kon auch mit Freund*innen fuer mich kein Restaurant meiner Wahl sein wird.

Leckeres Essen, kurze Wartezeiten, günstiger Preis und dafür normal große Portionen

Zum wiederholten Male ist das Gemüse nicht frisch, das Essen nicht warm, die Portion sehr klein aber dafür viel Reis. Geschmacklich einfach nur ärgerlich ! Nie wieder !

Aus meiner Sicht der beste, authentischste Vietnamese in Kiez. Unpretentiös, nicht so überdesignt wie viele andere die in den letzten Jahren entstanden sind. Die Sommerrollen sind super. Service auch sehr nett.

Great restaurant. Everything we ordered (bun cha, pho bo, bun bo nam bo, cha gio) was perfect. The mango smoothie was surprisingly good. Highly recommended if you like authentic Vietnamese cuisine.
