Rustic, cozy restaurant with surprisingly delicious food, from vegetarian to Bavarian - I've been here several times and every time it tastes great, no matter the food. Service very friendly, courteous and to the point. Onion roast and pork roast are legendary, cheese spaetzle, boiled beef, roast pork are great - we'll be happy to come back and try our way through the menu. 😊

Perfect! Rustic and authentic. We stopped by this gem while passing through and although all the tables seemed to be reserved, good management found a spot for us. The food was excellent, the beer was a Bavarian dream and the service was friendly, courteous and reliable. We felt comfortable and very full afterwards as the portions were generous.

Last Friday I was in the restaurant to test it. I made a reservation in the morning and probably got the last available spot. No wonder - why? I would like to explain this below: The honest friendliness was already apparent on the phone, and this was repeated/confirmed during the visit in the evening. The staff is young and very friendly professional. The dishes were very tasty, the Marie Hausbrendel on tap tasted even better than from the bottle. I had the wedding soup (beef broth with additions) and an onion roast. My request for a change: Kässpatzen instead of normal Spätzle was happily accommodated. The onion roast was a dream, exactly to the point (medium) and a high quality and large piece of meat. The best I've had to date. I made a reservation for next Friday and will report back. Clear recommendation.

It's like Stachus here, which is reflected in the general noise, but the staff can only be described as top notch. Extremely nice and friendly, so you feel very well looked after as a guest. The selection of vegetarian dishes is unusually high and, just like the non-vegetarian food, it is really tasty.

Quaint restaurant, friendly service, large selection of delicious food and drinks - great beers. But if you have to wait an hour for your food from 5 p.m., that's too long. Even if it's certainly not the rule: if you hear heavy sneezing from the kitchen several times in the dining room, it's irritating. Otherwise recommended restaurant.

We have been to the Bräustüberl several times, both in the cozy beer garden in summer and in the rustic restaurant, and have been very satisfied every time. With the large selection of dishes, there is something for everyone (including vegetarians and vegans). There is also always a seasonal menu. The service is very friendly and attentive. Was here for dinner one evening. Unfortunately everything was just average. The idea of ​​using candles in a beer mug as light is nice, and probably great as decoration, but not suitable for lighting up a table and the food on it. So I confused a potato with a lemon. Luckily it was noticed before the hearty bite took place. I also found the portion size to be too small for the price. Once in a lifetime is enough.

A beautiful outdoor courtyard in a nice quite town. Excellent friendly service and delicious mains. Recommend the pork knuckle and also the Weiner schnitzel, however the salads also were great. Great prices to match as well. Well done. Sehr gut und dankescheon!

Brewery inn with rustic furnishings. The food tastes wonderful, changing side dishes is no problem and the prices are okay for the quality. There are also homemade macarons for 2.30 euros as a delicious alternative to the usual dessert. And thanks to the brewery next door, the range of drinks on offer is also good. The staff is super friendly and always attentive, courteous and quick, even when stressed. Absolute recommendation!

Excellent home-style restaurant with varied German cuisine. It is definitely recommended to reserve a table, as many people like to eat here and it is almost always full. This is not a wonder: The service is very friendly and quick, the food is excellent and has a large selection, and the atmosphere is rustic and cozy. In terms of price, the selection also extends into the higher segment, as higher-priced dishes are also offered. A special highlight: a small starter (bread with herb quark and greaves) is served to bridge the waiting time for the meal. Thanks to the quick cooking, this works extremely well.

Always very good food in a homely atmosphere. Tradition in the best sense, even with many standard dishes, but on the changing menu with modern and creative food creations that are always worth the money. This delicious food is called fine cuisine.

It was very musty in the restaurant. The service was good and friendly. The food was bland. The onion roast was very firm and dry, even though all three were ordered medium. Normally juices run out when cutting, but not here. The roast pork was much too fatty, it was probably the rest, we were there in the evening. We are not the benchmark because the restaurant was well attended!

So far everything is fine. Prices are a bit too high in my opinion. Unfortunately, we were a bit unlucky, as we were sitting next to a larger group and were hardly able to hold a conversation because of the noise level. Otherwise you can absolutely recommend the restaurant. Reservation strongly recommended.

We often come here to eat with the family and have never been disappointed. Special requests/additional changes are also easily addressed. The homemade macarons are also very tasty, although expensive.

It's good restaurant with nice ambience. The food was freshly prepared and served. The staff was very friendly and polite. You could even decide whether you wanted the meat rare or medium fried. I would like to go there again.

What a gem to try! We were recommended by locals and the place is not only beautiful and cozy, therefore a pleasure to spend time in, but also serves traditional Bavarian food to die for. Portions are sooo generous. Try the Marie Hausbrendell beer here. It’s a perfect match with their fresh ingredients. Cherry on top: the staff. Friendly and professional.

We had lunch at the Bräustüberl at the end of February with a group of 25 people. We were served very friendly, quickly and attentively. The food was excellent and all participants enjoyed the special atmosphere in the beautiful pub. The inn is highly recommended for a travel group and is on our wish list if we come near Zusmarshausen again.

The furnishings correspond to a good old inn, lots of wood, cozy and hospitable. We had dinner with 4 people and everyone was very satisfied. Pig pile, duck brat, pig roast vegan, roast pork.

I've had onion roast twice now: flawless, perfectly prepared, good product and very tasty 😍 Rustic inn with a nice, personal atmosphere and very good cuisine. Everything is handmade and authentic (no convience)! The greeting from the kitchen (Griebenschmalz with bread) was really good, my "sau pile" (see picture) was also delicious - but be careful: the portion sizes are enough for 3 harsh winters 🤭 The side salad was good a.m.S. in the dressing, but otherwise our food (Wiener Schnitzel, veal cream goulash, ox soup) was definitely worth a visit. The relaxed but friendly service rounds off the positive picture and makes the Bräustüberl a clear recommendation!

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We only had to wait a short time because everything was reserved and then we got a table straight away. The roast with the spaetzle, as well as the dessert consisting of apple radl with ice cream, were excellent.

The Bräustüberl in Zusmarshausen is always worth a visit. You can't go wrong when it comes to choosing dishes, no matter what you order. In my opinion, the highlights are the Mälzerschnitzel, the Sau pile, the ox shreds or the roast pork. But again, everything tastes very good and is lovingly served on the plate. The Schwarzbräu, a beer that is brewed right next to the Stüberl, is also very tasty. The entire service staff and the innkeepers are very nice and attentive. Unfortunately, the Bräustuberl is no longer an insider tip in terms of price, but if you reserve well in advance you can spend a lovely evening here in a rustic atmosphere.

Leider nicht das was vom Hörensagen erwartet wurde! Extrem laut, da voll! Sehr unangenehm! Mein Kalbsschnitzel war groß, optisch prima, aber geschmacklich neutral und innen etwas klebrig, Kartoffelsalat mit Gurke ...Viel zu trocken und dann nur Gurkenscheiben mit obendrauf??? Sehr "lieblos"... Personal "unaufmerksam, da mit der vollen Gastronomie bzw. der Anforderung scheinbar "überfordert". Das zweite Getränk orderte ich selbst direkt am Tresen weil niemand kam. Ich hatte dann beschlossen vorzeitig zu gehen. Mir war der Lärmpegel zu hoch, auch gab es ja kaum Möglichkeit noch ein weiteres Getränk zu ordern. Zum Glück wie sich herrausstellte... Denn, am Schluß die große Überraschung! Unangekündigt keine Kartenzahlung! Fiel aus allen Wolken! Bemerkung der Bedienung ganz frech: Das wissen doch alle, die herkommen!!! -> WOHER bitte!? Hatte zum Glück gerade noch ausreichend dabei um nicht bei jemandem meiner Bekannten um Geld für die Rechnung zu fragen... Was ist das denn für ein Geschäftsgebaren? Braucht man so dringend Bargeld oder warum geht hier kein bargeldloses Zahlen... Ein zweites Mal, bzw. eine zweite Chance ist gründlich zu überdenken... das mit Barzahlung ist ja jetzt bekannt, Personal in der Küche und im Service kann ja dazulernen... Mal sehen... war kein guter Eindruck, schade

Urige Atmosphäre mit freundlichem Service. Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt und das Bier war echt lecker. Obwohl wir nur auf der Durchreise waren, war es sehr leicht einen Parkplatz zu finden.
