Very generous portions for beer flights. Great quality food!

This is a place you absolutely have to go to! Anyone who hasn't been there has missed out on something truly special. Words can't describe it – go! And a huge thank you to the staff, you guys are absolutely amazing! It couldn't be better. Until the next culinary delight, delicious food in the kitchen 😋👍 and a beer to the builders! THANK YOU for the delicious beer.

The recent reviews perfectly reflect our experience here on November 4th, 2025. Just a few highlights: The pork knuckle and half a duck were incredibly dry. The red cabbage was mushy like risotto and inedible. The bread dumplings were disastrous. The spaetzle were fried to a crisp while reheating. The starter salad was already brown. On the plus side, one dish was free. However, that's just a drop in the ocean. All in all, this restaurant is absolutely not recommended. If I could give zero stars, I would. We will definitely not be coming back!!!

The ambiance is still homely, no-frills, but the interior is far too dark. The rest isn't! Apparently, the owner has changed. After we'd been sitting for a while, we were asked to order – without even being given a menu. We then just ordered drinks: We repeated three times that we didn't want the orange soda, but the orange-carrot soda and a shandy. Five minutes later, the orange soda was brought – and regarding the shandy, we asked again what the second drink order was!?! After that, we had to wait forever for our food order. We were then informed that the daily specials were no longer available after 3 p.m. – and five minutes later, that the vegetarian dumplings listed on the regular menu were also no longer available. Upon inquiry – five minutes later, the waiter had no idea and had to find out for himself – we were told that the mushrooms in the mixed salad with mushrooms were fried. The food: The mushrooms in the salad were fried – however, they weren't fresh mushrooms, but canned! Apart from the lettuce leaves, everything came from a can: red cabbage, cabbage – that's all you could get for 14 euros. The dressing was inedible. The salad remained almost untouched – without the waiter even asking if there was anything wrong with it! The pork knuckle, however, wasn't any better: The crust was so thick and hard that it was almost impossible to cut, hiding 50 percent fat and 50 percent completely dried-out meat. The sauerkraut served with it was completely overcooked – or rather, had already been reheated several times, as had the small, chewy dumpling. And the little bit of brown sauce that came with it tasted like a convenience store product. It would have been better to just leave the pork knuckle, like the salad, alone—I felt sick the rest of the day!

The sausage salad was excellent, the service was quick and very friendly. The fried fish was very tasty.

The schnitzel was cold, the meat (veal) was fatty and streaky. The potato salad was definitely overcooked and also ice cold. Service was inattentive and preferred to watch videos on laptops, the draft beer was often empty, and the wait times were long. I've been here before and was unfortunately disappointed this time. Too bad.

Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The wait was very long, about 1.5 hours. The food tasted below average.

We ordered food for pickup from Lasser Brauhaus on October 12th – unfortunately, this time it was a bitter disappointment. We ordered a cheeseburger with fries, a veal cordon bleu with spaetzle and cream sauce, and the brewer's plate (pork tenderloin tips with Café de Paris sauce and hash browns). The food was already cold when we arrived home – we live only about 6 minutes away. The cordon bleu tasted fine after we heated it up ourselves. The brewer's plate, however, was inedible: The sauce was extremely spicy, even though this wasn't stated on the menu. Not even my husband, who likes spicy food, could eat it, and the dish unfortunately ended up in the trash. In addition, the cheeseburger was delivered without fries, even though the menu included them – simply unacceptable for €19. I sent an email to the brewery that same evening with polite feedback, but unfortunately, to this day – over a week later, no response. It's a shame, because we've always been very satisfied and even willing to pay a little more. In this case, we would have at least expected some feedback. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend it.

Unfortunately, there's been some criticism following the change of tenant. Potential is being wasted, partly due to inexperienced staff who seem overwhelmed even at moderate levels. The excellent food is served with too much salt...what a shame.

We were there today. Super friendly service, delicious food, and great beer. Big praise to the young lady who served us; she was very polite and interacted well with our children. We haven't had such good service in a long time.

We weren't served at the restaurant. The two of us wanted to eat at this restaurant. When we arrived, the place was almost empty – only two tables were occupied by other guests. The rest of the restaurant was empty. When we asked for a table, we were told there was no room. Because there were obviously so many empty tables, we asked if we could sit at one of them. We were then told again that there was no room and that they were understaffed.

Even after reopening, simple brewery fare—but with a friendly attitude—with portions that might be just right for some, but too large for the average person. I mean, think about your finances and the waste problem.

Somehow, I remembered the brewery better. The food was just okay, somewhat carelessly presented on the plate, and the schnitzel looked like it came out of a deep fryer. I don't know if that's a good idea. The competition in Lörrach is too fierce. It's a shame.

We visited Oktoberfest at Brauhaus Lasser – it was absolutely wonderful! Great atmosphere, delicious beer, and a very welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for a convivial evening.

Our Sunday evening visit was a complete disaster. Upon arrival, the service staff seemed disorganized and completely unmotivated/overwhelmed. Some neighboring tables were served the wrong food. After a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes, we left because the food still wasn't there (salad with baked potato and bratwurst with potato salad). Several tables left the restaurant because no conditions were met. This was our second visit with a similar experience, so we will avoid the restaurant in the future. A shame!

Went there at lunchtime. The food was good. Service was very friendly. The beer garden is lovely. We'll be back.

The club sandwich wasn't good at all! The meat was tough and dry, just really not good! I'm sorry, but you can't serve that!

Definitely recommended. I missed a schnitzel on the menu. The service was friendly, but sometimes inconsistent. The music in the brewery was annoying. But these are minor nuances, and Brauhaus Lasser is still a definite recommendation.

No, I can no longer recommend the brewery. I've always enjoyed going there over the years and even enjoyed eating there on my birthday, but in recent years (I don't know since when, maybe last year), it's gotten significantly worse. Now the schnitzel is regularly laced with tendons/fat/whatever it is (something that doesn't happen in other good restaurants), the burger doesn't taste good anymore, the service has declined significantly, and they seem to only hire young people for summer jobs (perhaps because they can easily pay them minimum wage?). I wouldn't blame the young people; I'm actually the same age and understand them; why go to such lengths? But has the chef been replaced? Has the owner changed, because I actually didn't think so? It can't really be the consequences of the coronavirus anymore; it was too long ago to blame it on that. So I can only assume that competent management can't be found, or that they're trying to save money at the expense of the consumer. If that doesn't backfire... With this decline in quality, the brewery is unfortunately to be avoided now, even though it was always recommended and a good choice before. There are other good options in Lörrach.

From hamburgers to schnitzel, everything was delicious and prepared quickly. The service was always friendly. Perhaps it was because it was Sunday, but there was still space outside and plenty inside without a reservation.

A really nice spot for a beer and a good, authentic German meal, with portions that aren't too small. The setting is green but quite urban because it's next to a fairly busy road. Service is good and fast. That's all well and good, of course, but ultimately, you come here for the beer. And it's truly excellent!

We've eaten at Brauhaus Lasser several times. The burgers and schnitzel have always been good. This time, unfortunately, was a huge disappointment for the second time. The spare ribs were pure fatty ribs and inedible. They were inedible. They consisted mainly of a 2 cm layer of fat and hardly any meat. They were cold and not prepared as described on the menu. Visually eye-catching, but inedible. The Madagascar steak was cold and not prepared according to the instructions. No Madagascar pepper sauce, but a mixture of carrots with a little pepper. The service is friendly, but the kitchen should concentrate on what it can prepare. It's changed a lot, which is a shame. A brewery should prepare dishes that are of good quality and professionally prepared. We paid the bill and won't be visiting the brewery again anytime soon.

A very irritated, unfriendly, and irritable "older" waitress served us. The most rude thing we've ever experienced was the question of whether we'd prefer to pay with cash. Does anyone here want to pocket money? We are DEFINITELY not going back there!

A beautiful restaurant with excellent food – very tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. One minor criticism: I tried to reserve a table for two over the phone, but was told there was no room left. We were offered a table once we got there. This may be due to internal procedures, but it was still a bit confusing. The service was generally friendly, but still a bit inexperienced – there's still room for improvement. Otherwise, we were very satisfied. A visit is definitely worth it – for guests from Lörrach and out of town. The restaurant's prices are absolutely reasonable.

We were invited to a wedding at Lasser and to brunch the next morning. I highly recommend the brewery: beautiful decor, excellent food, good service, and a first-class chef. The evening and brunch were very well organized, and we enjoyed everything in the beer garden, which is very nice.

We ate at the beer garden on July 11, 2025. The food was perfect. Interestingly dressed coleslaw. Something different and refreshing. The fries were perfect, and the sausage salad was very well dressed, although there was no bread or anything like that. No matter, the wife had fries. The portions were very generous, and the prices were very reasonable, not to say cheap. What we didn't like a bit was that there was a sign at the entrance stating that payment was only accepted in cash. When we mentioned right at the beginning that we couldn't eat there, the person who seated us said that it was possible, but poor Wi-Fi apparently meant that you couldn't always pay by card. When we paid, the waiter asked us again if we didn't have cash, which we said no. Why do you do this? If it's possible, why do you insist on cash? Are food and drinks being canceled just before the bill is paid in order to avoid the tax authorities? That leaves a bitter aftertaste.

Ambitious, but not a brewery – culinary disappointment The tour was nice, but unfortunately, we were escorted by waiters who didn't know their own tables – a bit chaotic. The restaurant itself is quite nice, seems ambitious, but to me, it's simply not a real brewery. As we all know, taste is subjective – but unfortunately, it didn't suit us. The spare ribs were a disaster: thick, tough lumps, completely flavorless – more like a piece of fatty rib from the oven. The schnitzel was okay, but full of tendons. And what on earth are capers and anchovies supposed to decorate a schnitzel? I didn't order fish – that was just disgusting. Conclusion: A shame about the beautiful location – culinary disappointment, unfortunately.

A bit more upscale for a brewery, but you can also go there as a worker.

Very tasty, sensational beer! Even after many years of coming here, it's still top-notch. The beer is sensational, the food is delicious, and the service is fast and friendly. That's how it should be.

Beautiful garden and excellent food! We were thrilled by the lovingly landscaped garden – a truly wonderful place to eat and relax. It's a shame the main road is right next door... The service was extremely attentive and friendly, which made the visit particularly pleasant :) The Wiener schnitzel we ordered was excellent – ​​we haven't had one this good in a long time! The potato salad was a bit too mild for our taste, but that's a matter of taste, of course.

Basically a nice restaurant. Unfortunately, it used to be much better; in recent years, both the quality of the food and the hospitality have declined significantly. The menu has been streamlined, and the dishes are pre-made, making it difficult to change requests. The beer is great. Unfortunately, the staff, especially the older ones, aren't particularly hospitable. I also find it very annoying that a table of four people, all having drinks and cordon bleu, doesn't get dessert at 10:28 PM! The reason: "Kitchen closed since 10 PM." According to the website, the restaurant serves hot food until 11 PM—all the information is very contradictory. All in all, a real shame. I've been here many times, but after my recent experience, I'll refrain from visiting in the future and even advise against it.

We ate here today. We all ordered a cordon bleu with spaetzle. The cordon bleu was okay, but the spaetzle were hard and not to my taste. Afterward, we wanted to order dessert, but unfortunately, the hosts were too lazy for that. According to the website, the kitchen is open until 11:00 PM on Saturdays. At 10:30 PM, we were no longer able to get dessert. It's a real shame, apparently the ladies and gentlemen here don't need it.

A wonderful pub with delicious food and tasty beer, including some interesting varieties. I really enjoyed the Raspberry Beer. The service was prompt, but thankfully, when it got busier, they didn't get discouraged. Best regards

Generally okay. I had the brewer's plate and didn't think it was particularly good. The rösti were dry and didn't have enough sauce. The pork was tough. I thought €25 was too much for that. The naturally cloudy beer was a good average. The service was quick and friendly. However, there was little going on. Overall you can eat and drink there but everything is mediocre. Lörrach doesn’t offer many better alternatives 😉

Really a very good restaurant. I recommend making a reservation as it is very popular. The portions are very fair and large and taste really good. I would definitely come again.

We were in the area for work reasons and went there based on a recommendation. So the schnitzel was awesome, the sauce was delicious and the spaetzle was perfect! The salad beforehand was also TOP Very friendly boss, top staff and the location itself is also very inviting! If we're in the area again, we'll definitely go there again!! The Bauhaus is located on the edge of the pedestrian zone. The restaurant is very spacious and the staff is very attentive and accommodating. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try any of the beers as I was there by car. The food was very well prepared and tasted good. Only the Wiener Schnitzel wasn't what you might expect.

I expected something better... It was always said that it should be good here, but... It wasn't as nice as expected and on Valentine's Day. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and could only eat cheese spaetzle, and if they were poorly made they tasted bitter My food was good hence 2 stars. After 30 minutes without being asked if we would like something else to drink, I decided to pay after pointing out twice no one came 15 minutes later then someone came after I had to half scream... I almost thought they didn't want the money

Unfortunately, during our visit to the brewery today we had to leave the restaurant very disappointed. Not only were the Cordon Bleus not even remotely cooked through, the service also left a lot to be desired. Accusations of having received several beers when this was not the case for a group of 20 people, or a lack of insight due to inadequate service are just two of a few points that were noticed this evening. We can definitely not recommend the brewery, even if we really appreciate the beer!

Absolute disaster. Were here for a friend's 30th birthday and sat for 45 minutes with empty glasses even though we politely reminded the waiter several times. Nothing changed. Half of the cordon bleus was completely raw and then reheated and served completely carelessly. Completely overcooked and still with the sauce from before. It just doesn't work at all. The service person was even accusatory instead of simply saying sorry.y

Unfortunately, I have to agree with some of the previous speakers here. If everything goes well, the whole thing may be somewhat ok, but if the host and hostess are caught having a bad day, it's best to leave immediately. He also likes to give the finger. I don't expect much, it's not an upscale restaurant or anything, but politeness would be great. I can't help it if they're in a bad mood ;)

Very cozy restaurant with excellent cuisine and absolutely top staff and service.

I ordered a veal cordon bleu with fries. The fries were cold and soggy. The cordon bleu was catastrophic... unseasoned, tasteless, oily, simply inedible. As if this had been warmed up several times. For 28 euros I absolutely expect more. I expected more than a coffee (which I didn't want) as a gesture of goodwill. Quintessence, the first and very last time in this restaurant.

I didn't feel welcome at all. I wanted to have lunch there with my family so I parked in the parking lot. I wanted to get money from the bank next door because we wanted to pay in cash, but we were sent away again. Give us the middle finger and then ask an unpleasant lady to film us (at the confrontation, big mouth, but when we wanted to talk, we were already filmed. No respect at all for other people. (You could clearly see from the Swiss license plate that we weren't from here Or is that exactly why we got the full blow?

We were here for a graduation ceremony. We were greeted very nicely, but unfortunately that was it for the service. When ordering drinks, the waitress forgot 2 of 6 drinks. The food was ordered in advance (there were 5 dishes to choose from). Additionally we ordered 1 side salad and 1 fries, which was not possible in advance. The food delivery took a very long time. One of the dishes was served without the turkey strips described; when asked, it was noticed that these were missing everywhere. The subsequent delivery then took 15 minutes. The vegetarian dish was only served when most of the people had already finished eating. You then had to pick up your drinks at the counter yourself as we were ignored by the waitress. When we wanted to pay, everyone else was charged first, even though we were the first to ask for the bill. The food was ok. The turkey strips were dry (probably already warned), the salad tasted like it came from the big salad buckets, the cheese spaetzle was unsalted, and the Madagascar sauce tasted like tomato soup from a bag. The steak was on point and the cordon bleu was very good. All in all, I wouldn't eat here again as neither the service nor the food justify it.

I can't say why I've never been there, despite its popularity. Was it a mistake? Definitely. The service is super nice and quick, the beer tastes great because it's fresh from the brewery, and the food was wonderful. We quickly had everything on the table, and for the aperitif there were mini pretzels with a delicious dip that was reminiscent of Obazda. The schnitzel was perfect in all respects, very tasty spaetzle and actually, I would say, the best fried sauce I have eaten to date. Hats off, I'll definitely come back again!
