Brauhaus Eutin in Eutin

The food was okay and reasonably priced. However, it was relatively unspectacular and standard. Unfortunately, it took a long time for service to respond. Overall, though, it's a nice place, good location, a bit touristy.

The space is good, alternating between classic and modern interiors. But the food here was truly a disgrace. Expensive, but the quality was comparable to that of a snack bar around the corner. If you order food and it's served after just five minutes, then most of it probably comes pre-prepared from a can or bucket. At least, that's how it tastes. The beer may be okay, but if that's all this place has going for it, there are far better places in Eutin. Another drawback is the very young staff, who don't seem to really care about or identify with their work/the restaurant they work for. Dull faces, a compulsive "Is everything OK?" uttered as they rush past without expecting an answer, and silly giggling among themselves shouldn't be expected, let alone appropriate, in such an expensive restaurant.

Very friendly staff, good beer, and a pleasant atmosphere. The food is unfortunately at the level of a chip shop; the mayo and ketchup on the tables are uncooled, so-so. Schnitzel with whatever sauce was unfortunately not tasty at all. The fries were OK, and the portions were very modest. A good place for a beer, but better to eat somewhere else.

The location on the market square is very nice. During the Eutin Festival, the restaurant is very busy. Unfortunately, the food isn't that good; it consists mostly of convenience foods. My schnitzel with hunter's sauce was just as good. The sauce was almost inedible, especially with canned mushrooms. Accordingly, everything was overpriced. The service was positive. Very friendly and always approachable. If you want more than cafeteria fare, you should choose another restaurant on the market square.

Mass processing, very mediocre food, and sometimes snotty service. Later, I went to the Chinese restaurant "almost next door"; a different class.

Spent a pleasant evening at the Eutin Brewery. Very friendly and prompt service, cozy interior, and a pleasant atmosphere. The selection of craft beers was more than adequate. There should be something for every taste. The food selection was okay. I found the fried potatoes too floury, but that's more a reflection of my general dislike of floury potatoes.

We stopped here before the premiere of The Magic Flute (July 18, 2025). We wanted to make a reservation for lunch, but the inside was fully booked and they don't accept reservations for the outside area, so we took a chance. It worked out for us. The food was delicious, and the drinks, especially the fresh Eutiner Weizen, were delicious. One star deducted for the service. Unfriendly and very annoyed when we changed seats due to the weather. "I'll have to rebook everything again..." Service was a German desert. Still, it's worth a visit. A must for beer fans!

Apart from a single blonde hair in my pasta chicken, the food was excellent, very tasty. 👍 The service didn't live up to my expectations; we had to wait a long time to be served, despite plenty of staff. After asking several times, there was no sports broadcast, even though it's advertised online. I've truly never experienced anything like it.

Anyone who wants to eat and values service should steer clear. This was simply not good. The Coke (Pepsi, even though the brand isn't mentioned on the menu) was clearly not carbonated enough, and only after a discussion with the waitress (at the counter) was it exchanged. Generally, the greeting and general interaction were unfriendly. The floor in the women's restroom area was unpleasantly wet and sticky, and the negative highlight was the burger, which cost around €22 with bone-dry buns. Even if you're sitting nicely at the market square, stay away. There are alternatives. This place is all about ripping tourists off.

A place to feel good. The Eutiner red beer tastes simply fantastic, and the Holsteiner Sauerfleisch (sour beef) goes wonderfully with it. The waiters are all super friendly. You'll definitely want to come back.

If I'd read the reviews beforehand, I wouldn't have ordered a schnitzel. I had the hunter's schnitzel and my wife had the Wiener Schnitzel. The schnitzels looked and tasted like the frozen XXL schnitzel in a double pack for 4.99 at Penny. The hunter's sauce had the typical Maggi Fix flavor with canned mushrooms. A complete disaster for a restaurant. The fries were okay. The service was very attentive and friendly. I definitely won't be coming back.

The food has been an absolute disgrace for decades—but it's perfect for the tourist crowds, where the money rolls in. Based on sufficient reports, you can believe the service staff that the tone there is extremely sharp. It's a money-maker, but not a brewery. Ugh! Go somewhere else.

The Eutin Brewery is beautifully located on the market square and has pleasant outdoor seating. However, the food was a disappointment when we were there yesterday. The beer was okay, but the schnitzel was dry, and the salad and fries weren't particularly tasty either. Almost 90 euros for that?

No. Service was OK. The food was terrible. The hunter's schnitzel had an intense Maggi flavor from the hunter's sauce. The schnitzel was cheap frozen with a very soft coating, costing over €20.

The brewery is located directly on the Eutin market square. You can sit outside here very nicely. The food is very tasty and the service is friendly.

Wir hatten zum Mittagessen gebackenen Camembert und Schnitzel mit Rahmpilzsoße bestellt. Camembert war in Ordnung aber die Rahmpilzsoße bestand aus Dosenpilzen und einer undefinierbaren asiatischen Sojasoße o. ä. Zutaten. Schlimmer geht es nimmer. Nie wieder Brauhaus Eutin !

Brauhaus, but no knuckles... more than a shame... in my opinion: atypical for a brewery. However, there was a good, tasty rump steak! All beers without foam!

As part of a rum tasting, I was able to enjoy the very good cuisine. The service was extremely attentive and explained each dish individually. Highly recommended. In particular, the manager of the house accompanied us pleasantly throughout the evening.

Visit around Christmas time! Nice location, friendly staff and enough choice of dishes! The ribs are awesome and a mega portion. Price performance is justified! I would love to go there again and can highly recommend it!

I agree with other reviewers: food was overpriced, Jägerschnitzel was served far too quickly and the ingredients were most likely frozen products. Service was friendly and attentive, but that doesn't save the poor quality of the food. If this is supposed to be a brewery, then please refrain from selling food.

Unfortunately it was a letdown, no seat cushions on the benches, therefore very uncomfortable. My veggy burger tastes so-so and lukewarm. The price of 20 euros is not justified. Service very nice.

For a rum steak at €29.50 you can expect it to be cooked medium rare if that is desired. No apology from the waitress, just a note, she passed it on. From a distance you could see that she just put the dishes down without giving any indication to the kitchen. Too bad.

Stopped in spontaneously and unfortunately regretted it... I expected better food for the price range. Baked potato tasted old and sour cream was definitely a finished product. Service was OK, but rounds up the tip itself. That's outrageous.

I'm a little disappointed. Had classic Jägerschnitzel. Anyone who makes schnitzel themselves will immediately notice that it is not a schnitzel that has just been thrown into the pan. The Eutin brewery disappointed us. From the Rhineland and Franconia we are used to getting excellent and, above all, fresh food with fresh beer, especially in breweries. Without any frills, but always of high quality - that's what we would have liked here too. Unfortunately the food was “convenient” and warmed up. Even the beer - but that's a matter of taste - wasn't our thing. It's a shame, but fortunately there are plenty of good and very good alternatives on and around the Eutin market square.

Waren schon öfter im Brauhaus,das Rotbier schmeckt uns sehr gut.Das Essen war bis auf den 27.09.2024 auch immer ok,aber an diesem Tag hatten wir uns auf bayrisches Essen gefreut,wurden jedoch sehr enttäuscht!Die Haxe war trocken,die Bratkartoffeln waren eher Pellkartoffeln in dicke Stücke geschnitten.Aber die Krönung war der Kaiserschmarrn, nicht frisch und fluffig sondernd hart,wahrscheinlich alt und aufgewärmt.Alles war eine große Enttäuschung,man sollte sich doch bemühen besseres Essen anzubieten.

Das Fleisch war mit fettrand,was man beim panierten nicht sehen konnte. Für den Preis von 20,-£ erwarte ich gute Qualität und nicht billiges Fleisch . Preis Leistung Verhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht.Also hier werde ich nicht noch mal essen gehen .

In this day and age, not paying attention to the quality when purchasing and preparing food and still charging such high prices for the Fras that you offer there is subterranean. Breaded frozen schnitzel with a ready-made Jäger sauce and tasteless "fried" potatoes, you should be ashamed of that! Yesterday you really underlined the reputation that you enjoy in Eutin. Their place in the market is 1A, the service makes an effort and is very friendly, that's what makes the whole thing so sad for others.

The schnitzel is not breaded itself and the breading is too even. I think it's frozen, at least it was fried in butter or clarified butter. The ribs just had their own taste of meat, there was no taste of it from being in the marinade for 7 days.🤷‍♂️ But they were nicely prepared and the potato wedges were good. The beer 🍺 is delicious, the Williams brand is okay, but nothing special. The service is nice, friendly and fast. Conclusion Okay for drinking beer. Or for lunch the menu is probably different.🤷‍♂️ I think Eutin offers better.

The food came much too quickly, the Wiener-style schnitzel tasted like frozen molded meat with a breading like cornflakes. Inferior quality with friendly and fast service. My last visit to the Eutin brewery.

The three of us were there on a festival day. Delicious food in a lovely place. Because of her illness, my sister-in-law would have liked to sit outside on a chair without backrests. When asked, she explained that there were none. When we went to the toilet, it turned out that there were appropriate chairs inside. It would have only been a small effort. It's a shame, a guest was sitting unnecessarily uncomfortably.

The service is good, the atmosphere is that of a brewery. It wasn't nice, there were advertisements everywhere for your own beer or your own schnapps, which has been a tradition for years... Missed. The food is wholesale, the portions are so small that you should be ashamed to call yourself a brewery. I don't want to make a general assessment of whether the beer is good or bad. To eat, I would get a wholesale frozen schnitzel for €19.00 or a burger for €22.00 (-€0.10 for the menu) in the stall next door, because it only costs €6.00. We came from out of town and know a lot of breweries, but something like this is really unique. P.S. You can get a six-pack of beer there for an incomparable €15.00 (6x 0.33 l). When it comes to eating, give this place a wide berth.

You can eat well here. Typical of a brewery, it is rather rustic with an extensive selection of home-brewed beers. The service was friendly and quick.

Tourist ready-made food from the gastro wholesale market, hunter's sauce from canned mushrooms, breading for a schnitzel is a disgrace. Quality is different. But what should the restaurateur do during this time?

I went to the brewery with my son for lunch yesterday. We both ordered the hunter-style schnitzel, which cost just under €21 per person. The schnitzel was a frozen ready-made product and the sauce was a ready-made sauce. The fries were really very good, but the sauce and the schnitzel were a straight 6 if you take the price and portion size into account. I pointed this out to the friendly waitress and was very polite, but the restaurant management was not interested in my criticism and let me leave the restaurant without comment. I think it's a shame that the restaurant management has no connection with their guests and doesn't make any effort to look after their guests. I still gave the waitress a tip and will probably avoid the brewery in the future. I didn't feel valued as a guest.

Big disappointment - ambience and beer are ok, unfortunately the food is not. We know the quality of Bavarian breweries and Eutiner cannot keep up. Run-of-the-mill quick meals. For example, there is only pork schnitzel (no alternative) and the Jägerschnitzel was not fresh and had dark gravy and canned mushrooms. The baked Camembert was only lukewarm and too expensive for the €13.90 portion, which didn't fill me up. We are locals and think it's a shame that further visits here aren't worth it.

The restaurant is very centrally located and we found a good spot outside. The service was quick and we didn't have to wait long for our food. However, the preparation of the food can use a little more “commitment” and dedication. Maybe we should have used the toilets first... A pity.

If there were 0 stars I would have to give them because 0 stars for 0 performance. We were there on July 26th, 2024 around 4:15 p.m. and wanted to try the beer. So we took a comfortable seat in the armchairs next to the water feature and that was the only thing we ate. A young man who said he had to clean and clear the tables right next to us was expelled from the restaurant with the words thank you, we'll do that ourselves, probably by the boss. A young waiter behind us and a waitress at the other tables didn't have to come to our table and ask what we would like. Despite showing hands at least twice. The table behind us was ignored even though four people had now sat down there. After sitting there for over half an hour, we got up and looked for another restaurant. The 4 people from the other table also left without ordering anything. If the outside area had been fully occupied at the time, I would have understood that there would have been a reasonable waiting time, but at that point the outside tables were not even 25% full.

The Brauhaus Eutin offers solid service that is attentive and friendly. The food is tasty, but nothing extraordinary – just typical for a brewery restaurant. However, the house beer is very good and I enjoyed it. Overall an average experience.

Liebes Team, insgesamt sind wir bei diesem Besuch enttäuscht von der Speisekarte und den Speisen insgesamt. Warenauswahl und Verarbeitung erschienen uns sehr lieblos, das kennen wir von Euch aus den letzten Jahren deutlich besser. Dafür sind die Preise recht happig, eine kleine Ofenkartoffel mit Chicken 18,90€. Unter einer Brauhaus-Karte stellen wir uns doch etwas Anderes vor. Sehr freundlich, zugewandt und flink sind immer wieder die Mädels vom Service.

I can only rate a bottled beer purchase, so I ask you to understand the fifth star as "room for improvement" for the catering industry, which I deliberately leave open in an assessment! The beer pick-up was extremely service-oriented, even though I felt rather out of place - fearing that I would disrupt the catering business. Especially after the store closes? In any case, I looked in vain for the noble brew in the store. I was even told two shops, one of which was probably in Plön. I would never have thought of that by chance. Therefore, the sheer rarity of availability makes this beer a rarity. Please keep it special! What customers can do about it? It's best not to follow my example and only consume the beer to enjoy it there, accompanied by a meal.

I was able to stay there for 2 hours, the food, I had schnitzel with mushroom sause, this sauce was simply inedible, I was extremely disappointed, then I got a consolation cola, which was OK at that moment, but this cola ended up being calculates... well you don't have to go there again!!

Spontaneously got a spot outside in the early evening. The staff was friendly, drinks were at the table quickly. The food also came quickly. In our opinion, the vegetable pan with potato wedges was more of a ready-made product. The panfish could also be ordered with a baked potato instead of fried potatoes at no extra charge.
