Food is really tasty. Service is great. Can only be recommended. We'll be back

I agree with other reviewers: food was overpriced, Jägerschnitzel was served far too quickly and the ingredients were most likely frozen products. Service was friendly and attentive, but that doesn't save the poor quality of the food. If this is supposed to be a brewery, then please refrain from selling food.

Unfortunately it was a letdown, no seat cushions on the benches, therefore very uncomfortable. My veggy burger tastes so-so and lukewarm. The price of 20 euros is not justified. Service very nice.

Very tasty dishes. The beer is really tasty. The service is friendly and accommodating. People like to meet here.

For a rum steak at €29.50 you can expect it to be cooked medium rare if that is desired. No apology from the waitress, just a note, she passed it on. From a distance you could see that she just put the dishes down without giving any indication to the kitchen. Too bad.

Stopped in spontaneously and unfortunately regretted it... I expected better food for the price range. Baked potato tasted old and sour cream was definitely a finished product. Service was OK, but rounds up the tip itself. That's outrageous.

I'm a little disappointed. Had classic Jägerschnitzel. Anyone who makes schnitzel themselves will immediately notice that it is not a schnitzel that has just been thrown into the pan. The meat is more like molded meat, the breading is boring. The sauce is too scarce. Fries ok, but not world class either. All for 20€. Oh well. It was out of the table within 4 minutes of my order. That says a lot. The beer was ok, at least. Service rather disinterested in criticism and no noticeable love for the house. Just a job, nothing more. Ambience quite good. Unfortunately, I was no longer asked whether I had another wish

A great restaurant, I always enjoy coming here, very cozy, the service is very nice, and I can't get enough of the food, really tasty 😋 I would like to give it more than 5 stars.

You get finished products that haven't even been fried yet

The Eutin brewery disappointed us. From the Rhineland and Franconia we are used to getting excellent and, above all, fresh food with fresh beer, especially in breweries. Without any frills, but always of high quality - that's what we would have liked here too. Unfortunately the food was “convenient” and warmed up. Even the beer - but that's a matter of taste - wasn't our thing. It's a shame, but fortunately there are plenty of good and very good alternatives on and around the Eutin market square.

Waren schon öfter im Brauhaus,das Rotbier schmeckt uns sehr gut.Das Essen war bis auf den 27.09.2024 auch immer ok,aber an diesem Tag hatten wir uns auf bayrisches Essen gefreut,wurden jedoch sehr enttäuscht!Die Haxe war trocken,die Bratkartoffeln waren eher Pellkartoffeln in dicke Stücke geschnitten.Aber die Krönung war der Kaiserschmarrn, nicht frisch und fluffig sondernd hart,wahrscheinlich alt und aufgewärmt.Alles war eine große Enttäuschung,man sollte sich doch bemühen besseres Essen anzubieten.

Das Fleisch war mit fettrand,was man beim panierten nicht sehen konnte. Für den Preis von 20,-£ erwarte ich gute Qualität und nicht billiges Fleisch . Preis Leistung Verhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht.Also hier werde ich nicht noch mal essen gehen .

In this day and age, not paying attention to the quality when purchasing and preparing food and still charging such high prices for the Fras that you offer there is subterranean. Breaded frozen schnitzel with a ready-made Jäger sauce and tasteless "fried" potatoes, you should be ashamed of that! Yesterday you really underlined the reputation that you enjoy in Eutin. Their place in the market is 1A, the service makes an effort and is very friendly, that's what makes the whole thing so sad for others.

Cozy atmosphere, nice staff and food was delicious. The beer and Alster was also delicious.

Not recommended at all. Beer is nothing special and the service is so listless and clueless. Better go somewhere else!

The schnitzel is not breaded itself and the breading is too even. I think it's frozen, at least it was fried in butter or clarified butter. The ribs just had their own taste of meat, there was no taste of it from being in the marinade for 7 days.🤷‍♂️ But they were nicely prepared and the potato wedges were good. The beer 🍺 is delicious, the Williams brand is okay, but nothing special. The service is nice, friendly and fast. Conclusion Okay for drinking beer. Or for lunch the menu is probably different.🤷‍♂️ I think Eutin offers better.

The food came much too quickly, the Wiener-style schnitzel tasted like frozen molded meat with a breading like cornflakes. Inferior quality with friendly and fast service. My last visit to the Eutin brewery.

Low-level frozen ready meals, food from the deep fryer. Every chip shop is better. And outrageous prices too.

The schnitzel is frozen goods. I haven't seen that in years. A brewery in particular should never offer something like this to guests.

Unfriendly service, Hambuger overpriced. No special requests (no tomatoes) Mixed salt poor quality. We're never coming back. Warm beer.

The three of us were there on a festival day. Delicious food in a lovely place. Because of her illness, my sister-in-law would have liked to sit outside on a chair without backrests. When asked, she explained that there were none. When we went to the toilet, it turned out that there were appropriate chairs inside. It would have only been a small effort. It's a shame, a guest was sitting unnecessarily uncomfortably.

The service is good, the atmosphere is that of a brewery. It wasn't nice, there were advertisements everywhere for your own beer or your own schnapps, which has been a tradition for years... Missed. The food is wholesale, the portions are so small that you should be ashamed to call yourself a brewery. I don't want to make a general assessment of whether the beer is good or bad. To eat, I would get a wholesale frozen schnitzel for €19.00 or a burger for €22.00 (-€0.10 for the menu) in the stall next door, because it only costs €6.00. We came from out of town and know a lot of breweries, but something like this is really unique. P.S. You can get a six-pack of beer there for an incomparable €15.00 (6x 0.33 l). When it comes to eating, give this place a wide berth.

You can eat well here. Typical of a brewery, it is rather rustic with an extensive selection of home-brewed beers. The service was friendly and quick.

Tourist ready-made food from the gastro wholesale market, hunter's sauce from canned mushrooms, breading for a schnitzel is a disgrace. Quality is different. But what should the restaurateur do during this time?

I went to the brewery with my son for lunch yesterday. We both ordered the hunter-style schnitzel, which cost just under €21 per person. The schnitzel was a frozen ready-made product and the sauce was a ready-made sauce. The fries were really very good, but the sauce and the schnitzel were a straight 6 if you take the price and portion size into account. I pointed this out to the friendly waitress and was very polite, but the restaurant management was not interested in my criticism and let me leave the restaurant without comment. I think it's a shame that the restaurant management has no connection with their guests and doesn't make any effort to look after their guests. I still gave the waitress a tip and will probably avoid the brewery in the future. I didn't feel valued as a guest.

Ganz schön direkt am Marktplatz in Eutin gelegen. Der Biergarten ist vom Ambiente sehr ansprechend. Die Bedienung war freundlich, aber teilweise unkonzentriert

Big disappointment - ambience and beer are ok, unfortunately the food is not. We know the quality of Bavarian breweries and Eutiner cannot keep up. Run-of-the-mill quick meals. For example, there is only pork schnitzel (no alternative) and the Jägerschnitzel was not fresh and had dark gravy and canned mushrooms. The baked Camembert was only lukewarm and too expensive for the €13.90 portion, which didn't fill me up. We are locals and think it's a shame that further visits here aren't worth it.

The restaurant is very centrally located and we found a good spot outside. The service was quick and we didn't have to wait long for our food. However, the preparation of the food can use a little more “commitment” and dedication. Maybe we should have used the toilets first... A pity.

If there were 0 stars I would have to give them because 0 stars for 0 performance. We were there on July 26th, 2024 around 4:15 p.m. and wanted to try the beer. So we took a comfortable seat in the armchairs next to the water feature and that was the only thing we ate. A young man who said he had to clean and clear the tables right next to us was expelled from the restaurant with the words thank you, we'll do that ourselves, probably by the boss. A young waiter behind us and a waitress at the other tables didn't have to come to our table and ask what we would like. Despite showing hands at least twice. The table behind us was ignored even though four people had now sat down there. After sitting there for over half an hour, we got up and looked for another restaurant. The 4 people from the other table also left without ordering anything. If the outside area had been fully occupied at the time, I would have understood that there would have been a reasonable waiting time, but at that point the outside tables were not even 25% full.

The Brauhaus Eutin offers solid service that is attentive and friendly. The food is tasty, but nothing extraordinary – just typical for a brewery restaurant. However, the house beer is very good and I enjoyed it. Overall an average experience.

Very nice restaurant with its own brewery

Liebes Team, insgesamt sind wir bei diesem Besuch enttäuscht von der Speisekarte und den Speisen insgesamt. Warenauswahl und Verarbeitung erschienen uns sehr lieblos, das kennen wir von Euch aus den letzten Jahren deutlich besser. Dafür sind die Preise recht happig, eine kleine Ofenkartoffel mit Chicken 18,90€. Unter einer Brauhaus-Karte stellen wir uns doch etwas Anderes vor. Sehr freundlich, zugewandt und flink sind immer wieder die Mädels vom Service.

Right on the market square and therefore a nice location. Easy to sit inside and out. Home-brewed beer is the specialty - the food is Basic System Gastro. So not bad but not individual. The service concept is a bit complicated because each operator has a different task.

The schnitzel and the sauce were ok. The fried potatoes were cold and soggy. Unfortunately we were left stranded for 45 minutes without service. Young waitresses who get their salary without having to generate sales.

Great location with great food and super nice service

Delicious beer, small glasses, no food. Nice shop inside... Outside now totally naked with no trees and stuffy. And the splashing of the water feature drives you crazy after a while.

The food was good and the staff was also very friendly. However, the fries could be a little crispier and the prices are not that cheap. Overall, however, we were very satisfied.

Food was delicious, rich. A bit simple, but still recommended. Equipping the brewery with a disabled toilet was highly recommended. Neat, clean. The brewery was also dog-friendly.

I can only rate a bottled beer purchase, so I ask you to understand the fifth star as "room for improvement" for the catering industry, which I deliberately leave open in an assessment! The beer pick-up was extremely service-oriented, even though I felt rather out of place - fearing that I would disrupt the catering business. Especially after the store closes? In any case, I looked in vain for the noble brew in the store. I was even told two shops, one of which was probably in Plön. I would never have thought of that by chance. Therefore, the sheer rarity of availability makes this beer a rarity. Please keep it special! What customers can do about it? It's best not to follow my example and only consume the beer to enjoy it there, accompanied by a meal.

I was able to stay there for 2 hours, the food, I had schnitzel with mushroom sause, this sauce was simply inedible, I was extremely disappointed, then I got a consolation cola, which was OK at that moment, but this cola ended up being calculates... well you don't have to go there again!!

Spontaneously got a spot outside in the early evening. The staff was friendly, drinks were at the table quickly. The food also came quickly. In our opinion, the vegetable pan with potato wedges was more of a ready-made product. The panfish could also be ordered with a baked potato instead of fried potatoes at no extra charge. Everything was fine in terms of taste, but the prices for the goods used are rather too high.

Cozy restaurant with a beautiful terrace right on the market square! The food we ordered, spare ribs and salmon, came after 5 minutes. Warmed up lukewarm and no longer had the taste that you would have expected! A pity. I've eaten better there before!!

Bisher waren wir immer sehr zufrieden. Dieses Mal gab es von der gesamten Familie ein „okay“ Fazit. Die bestellten essen waren dieses Mal nicht so überzeugend. Der Veggieburger war mit den Pommes eher etwas lieblos und verloren auf dem Teller platziert und mit 19€ schon im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants enttäuschend. Das Bier ist weiterhin unschlagbar in Eutin. Zum Essen werden wir erstmal anderes probieren

The brewery in Eutin, centrally located in the heart of Eutin, right on the market square. There is parking available directly in the city center, so this location can be reached on foot within 2-3 minutes. Clear menu with a large selection of drinks. Beers/liqueurs are still brewed here. Depending on where you sit, you have a direct view of the kitchen. Places are more than sufficient. The dishes are simple and easy, meaning they can be prepared quickly. This is understandable given the size of the catering industry... but you shouldn't expect too much here. However, the food tasted good and arrived quickly. Service friendly and quick. Even when there was something to complain about (the burger was still cold in the patty itself), it was replaced without any problems. In terms of price it was okay… more on the borderline for some dishes. Nevertheless, a beautiful location with a great outdoor area.

In our opinion, there is still a lot of room for improvement. The menu was very confusing and had little choice for a brewery. Here you won't find any goulash or regional dishes that you would normally find on a brewery's menu. Wheat beer? Clear! Non-alcoholic. In the end we decided on asparagus with schnitzel and potatoes. Otherwise mostly dishes with fries... The waitress even asked for a tip. That says a lot about it...

The Eutiner Brauhaus is more centrally located on the market square, I stopped in outside meal times, enjoyed a four-beer tasting, which was smart, and a very tasty goulash soup. The service was very, very friendly, value for money was okay, I can recommend it without reservation. I'll be back, thank you.

You can sit outside on the market square next to a "water feature fountain" where there is always something going on. The food was delicious and the beer tasting was exciting because you can try 4 different beers (all delicious) instead of ordering one at random. Gladly again on the next vacation. You can also take the beer you try home with you in a six-pack, which is also great as a souvenir.

Flambée perfect. Burger almost perfect. The taste was very tasty but I would have liked the bun as a brioche. Looks more elegant and tastes a bit more awesome. A little surprise. The potato was seasoned with nutmeg. The subtlety makes the difference. No deduction because the location and beer were excellent. We'd love to come back. Must not be missed. The service is very accommodating and polite.

Reserved table on the 1st floor, ideal for a group of 6 who wanted to be alone. Lots of stairs, not suitable for disabled people. Drinks and food came quickly. There wasn't much going on. At 9:15 p.m. we were asked to place the last order because we were the last table and it was time to call it a day.

Were there in March 2024 when the sun was shining. Sat outside with a view of the market square. Pleasant atmosphere, good selection of drinks and food, sometimes a little unusual for a German brewery. We chose the Wiener-style schnitzel and the baked potato. The food came quite quickly, the portions were more than sufficient and tasted delicious. We also took the beer tasting, which we personally didn't like that much (it's just a matter of taste...) The service was ok, a little below average, fast and taciturn?! (depending on the waitress). Nevertheless, we were satisfied and would recommend the brewery with a clear conscience.

I had the Holstein sour meat and a beer sample from the in-house brewery. I can only recommend it if you are in Eutin. And a few beers to take with you ;-)

We ate deliciously. The schnitzels tasted very good and were fresh from the pan. I would have liked a little more sauce. I thought the atmosphere was nice, but it was a bit dark. Gladly again.

I had spare ribs, they were very good and a large portion, the IPA also tasted very good, friendly staff, ambience is a matter of taste, I thought it was like a waiting room, the price was a bit high but I think it's normal these days, you can just do that I don't do it that often, but it didn't cost extra to switch from potato wedges to fried potatoes, the selection isn't very extensive, but I think it's very good, what use are 30 dishes on the menu to me, then I'd rather have a few but better ones, I would come back and I can definitely recommend the brewery.

We were there with 20 people and ordered from the menu. The food came for everyone at the same time, hot and very tasty. We had 5 small children with us who were very restless. There were no complaints about the volume. Even a small dog was no problem at all. The waitresses were friendly and helpful. I can only say we were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

Last night we had dinner at the brewery. Panfish Very tasty with the sauce. The service was good and so was the quality of the food.

Unfortunately, the Wiener Schnitzel was the cheapest pressed meat and the fried potatoes didn't deserve their name. Not worth a visit.

As new residents of Eutin, we were here for the first time, but definitely not the last time. Ambience rustic and friendly. The service staff are consistently friendly and attentive. My wife had panfish which was excellent. I had kale with all the meat accompaniments. Top fried potatoes with both dishes. Nice and crispy without being dry. The kale is not cooked to death, but still has a bit of bite in the leaf veins, really great. Meat excellently seasoned. The kitchen can do something! I would like to take some of the house beer with me more often. As a native of the Ruhr area, I really like the Pils. And the friendly waitress also gave us a perfume tip when asked :-)

Neben sehr guten Speisen und einer Auswahl sehr gelungener Biere, trafen wir auf die beste Servicekraft unserer Reise durch Schleswig- Holstein. Nett, kompetent, einfach klasse! Wir fühlten uns als wirklich gerne gesehene Gäste! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder, da uns Eutin insgesamt sehr gefallen hat.

Wir sind zur Mittagszeit eingekehrt und hatten uns eigentlich auf gutbürgerliche Küche, geschmorte Braten, frisches Wintergemüse, Klöße und co gefreut - also die generelle Erwartung an ein altes Brauhaus im Zentrum einer Kleinstadt wie Eutin. Wie müssen zugeben, dass das Ambiente ganz hübsch war und der Service aufmerksam. Leider waren unsere Gerichte (Jägerschnitzel und Burgunderbraten) frei von jeglicher Finesse. Restlos alle Komponenten waren Convenienceprodukte der unteren Preiskategorie. Der Rotkohl fade, die Burgundersauce war zwar braun, aber Fond, Rotwein, Thymian, Rosmarin, oder Liebstöckel ließen sich vermissen. Der Schweinebraten war Fertigkassler. An dem Punkt ist mir der Genuss am Essen vergangen und die 5 (fünf) Fertigkroketten haben das nicht mehr ändern können. Das Jägerschnitzel sowie die Jägersauce waren qualitativ leider keineswegs besser. Fertigprodukt, Fertigsauce, Fritten, Ende der kulinarischen Reise. Es werden insgesamt auch keine hochwertigen Fertigprodukte genutzt. Bei uns manifestierte sich der Eindruck "Hauptsache maximal wirtschaftlich, Essen schnell auf die Teller bringen". Das mag betriebswirtschaftlich zwar grundsätzlich Sinn ergeben, aber das resultierende Geschmackserlebnis ist dann leider Gottes keines, das man zwingend wiederholen möchte. Wir waren mehr als enttäuscht und erst auf Nachfrage wurde uns ein kleiner Teil der Rechnung erlassen, wobei wir aus den o.g. Gründen kaum etwas angerührt hatten. Da konnte einem die freundliche Servicekraft schon fast leid tun diese Essen zu präsentieren. Für uns steht fest, dass wir für diese Gaststätte keine Empfehlung aussprechen können.

We visited Brauhaus Eutin on New Years Day. Everything went ok until we got the bill: there were more than 10% mistake, cappuccinoes and teas which we didn't order or drink. We got the extra payment back but no apology or explanation that had helped a lot. Not good.

Qualitativ guter Service. Das Essen kam schnell und ist sehr lecker gewesen. Auswahl an Getränken und Speisen ebenfalls sehr gut und ausreichend. Die Akustik ist auch angenehm. Man kann nichts Negatives sagen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Schönes traditionelles Restaurant und Brauhaus in guter Lage am Marktplatz in Eutin mit Außenterrasse. Relativ kleine Speisekarte. Ansprechendes Biersortiment. Freundliche Bedienung. Die Schnitzel sind von guter Qualität und die Portionen groß. Die Preise sind für die gebotene Qualität okay.

Es gibt dort leckere Speisen, freundliches Personal und man kann dort drinnen oder draußen sitzen .

Auch ohne Tischreservierung haben wir gestern noch 2 Plätze auf der Balustrade bekommen. Die Haxen (zum Oktoberfest) waren schön kross und lecker. Und die warmen Knoblauchbrote vorweg sind sehr zu schmackhaft. Beim Bier empfiehlt es sich, mit der Bierprobe zu beginnen (4 Gläser a 0,1 ltr.) Danach dann die Maß! 😀
