Brauhaus (BiggeseeFront) in Olpe

I entered the restaurant at 8:25 p.m. It was quite busy, and several guests were eating. I was then told that the kitchen had closed because it was so quiet, and therefore my request to eat there was denied! The restaurant closes at 10:00 p.m.! I ate there the day before, but I didn't receive the requested receipt, and I didn't receive one today when I asked for one. The food and ambiance were good, but the way the (hotel) guests were treated was completely unacceptable!

Solid! Rump steak average. Good parking options. Service good. Tables placed too close together.

We particularly liked the atmosphere here. Great ambiance, good service, okay food, but the cocktails could use a bit more alcohol. We'd be happy to come back.

Great atmosphere. Unfortunately, it was too busy during my visit, so the service was a bit lackluster.

6 person group The price of the food was really high considering the quality and taste. The service was inflexible. For a steak dish, we wanted sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. That wouldn't be possible, then we would have to take the normal fries and order the sweet potato fries again. The last round was announced at 10:20 p.m., although the opening time is stated until midnight. The couple who came in were sent away. Great atmosphere with poor service and mediocre food - a shame!

We visited the brunch buffet and were overall satisfied. The offer was varied and there was something for every taste. The warm buffet was tasty, but the potato gratin was unfortunately cold. It was noticeable that some ready-made products were used in the warm part of the buffet, but I don't think that's too bad considering the price. The coffee was pleasantly mild and tasted good. The seating is very comfortable and the view is just beautiful.

The ambience and service (great staff) were really top. It's a beautiful location! Unfortunately I was disappointed with the food. The fries weren't fried long enough, and the rest were more like frozen goods that were thrown into the deep fryer. Of course, something like that tastes okay, but the prices are just way too high. You can get this in any chip shop for 1/3 of the price. Too bad! The first impression was so great. Addendum; Thank you for the answer. When I go to a restaurant, I assume that I don't have to mention that I would like the fries 'finished' ;-)

The atmosphere is very cozy and highly enjoyable, especially on a cold spring day. The staff is friendly and attentive. The cocktails though are disappointing - watered down for such a high price.

Well, I wouldn't call it a brewery now. No own beer and the food is good but the price is completely exorbitant. So anyone who can cook can do it just as well. Please reconsider your prices or naming.

An all-round successful visit that will definitely be repeated. But let's start at the beginning. Beautifully located in Olpe an der Bigge and with direct parking access. Minimal walk, which is completely barrier-free, to the restaurant. The parking tickets can be validated after visiting the restaurant and you have a free parking space in the first row. When you enter the restaurant you are greeted in a very friendly manner and escorted to your table. A reservation, especially on weekends, certainly makes sense. The good service continued throughout the evening and both food and drinks arrived in a good time frame. The ambience impresses with its tasteful furnishings with an open fireplace. You immediately feel comfortable. The range of dishes ranges from classics such as fried chicken, roulades and game to schnitzels and salads as well as a small vegan selection. Dessert lovers will also get their money's worth. The dishes are impressive in terms of taste and some things feel homemade, such as the spaetzle. However, I would make small compromises with the side salad, which is more like a bag. Overall the price level is a bit higher but absolutely justified in relation to the quality of the food. A standard drinks program rounds off the offer. Definitely coming back again.

Great ambience. Very nicely done. The service was great and very friendly. The only negative point was the food. The taste was good, but in my opinion the schnitzels came out of the deep fryer. They couldn't have been freshly fried as quickly as the food was at the table and at this price level they should have been freshly fried. That's my personal opinion on it. But otherwise, as I said, everything was great.

We were here on New Year's Eve and we can only recommend it. Food buffet was okay, drinks wine beer water champagne as much as you wanted. And I thought the ambience and service were just great!!!

After visiting several times, I can say that the food was always very good, the atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and the service was nice, unfortunately not always attentive. However, what bothers me a lot and prevents me from visiting again is the music, which is clearly too loud and completely inappropriate for the genre. Unfortunately, our request to regulate this somewhat was only responded to briefly.

Great ambience and friendly service, but the food was not acceptable for the price. Less than ten minutes after ordering, the roulade with Schupfnudeln and red cabbage was on the table for almost €30: 100% convenience food, not really hot and only mediocre in taste. It's a shame, but the price/performance ratio here is not right at all!

The brewery has good food, great service and the decor and location are wonderful. Successful concept, leave it like that. Just make a reservation and go. In summer it is quite crowded outside.

Ambience great. Service very friendly. Food (schnitzel) was extremely thin and bone dry. Sauce, €3.50 extra, no more than a soup spoon full. That wasn't worth the money. Drink prices overpriced. Never again. For the money I expect better food

Ambiance top notch...food was very tasty and the service was friendly and very fast despite it being busy...the prices were a bit too high for me though...the bread with dip is recommended for those with a small appetite...plenty and affordable and... extremely delicious!!

Some things (tomato salad, potato gratin, spaetzle, salmon) are very tasteless. Maybe it could be seasoned a little better. Otherwise, the service and well-being is very good here. What I think is very good is that free water and orange juice are offered for breakfast/brunch.

Very disappointing... We came from further away, there were enough tables available, they weren't reserved for at least another two hours and the unfriendly service said everything was occupied... There were at least 5 tables left!! Once and never again...

We were there today with the family on Boxing Day. The food was amazing. We were all really excited and exchanged a lot with each other so that everyone could try everything. The atmosphere there is very nice, cozy but also modern and something that cannot be found in Olpe. The service was also great.

Great location with an absolutely good brunch buffet and attentive service. Free parking, have your ticket stamped. When the weather is good, you can also relax on the large terrace with a view of the Bigge lake.

Great restaurant with a great ambience. Despite its size, it is "calm" and very comfortable. The three of us were there on a Wednesday evening in the run-up to Christmas and it was well attended; Nevertheless, the service was very attentive, courteous and orders (food + drinks) arrived very quickly. We had the Cordon Bleu with a side salad and fries and it was delicious! Happy to come back! Highly recommended.

Very nice restaurant on the edge of the Biggesees. The modern ambience conveys a great sense of cosiness and the high rooms are something different. The furnishings are appropriately selected and you sit very comfortably. The service is quick, friendly and courteous. The food is very tasty and it's certainly not the last time I've been here 😊

Super beautiful & delicious, Big point of criticism, there is only one child's chair and no nice place to change (although there are simple and space-saving changing tables that you can attach to the wall).

We really liked the brewery, a nice atmosphere. It was very pleasant that there was no unpleasant background noise. The brunch buffet was normal, not bad but not outstanding either. I didn't think the warm dishes were that great, they were rather simple but that's a matter of taste. But the brewery is well suited for a cozy day with friends and family.

We were there in a very large group >100 and the buffet was rich and good. The service is praiseworthy in a very successful atmosphere.

We wanted a table for 3 but we were rejected, 2 other groups of us got a table for 3 each and the attempt to get a table for 2 to eat also failed. I think if you rent a room you should also include a place in the restaurant, which is why the stars are deducted.

The Christmas goose was extremely tasty, absolutely recommended. The ambience is very nicely decorated.

We had dinner here. I was hoping for more for the price, but that's all a matter of taste. The meat of the roulade was very tender, but for me it was missing mustard. The dressing from the side dish was not to our taste at all. My apple red cabbage was again quite good. I was glad I didn't have any fries because I didn't like them that much. All in all it was well prepared. The service was nice, but felt overwhelmed because there were too few waitresses for too many guests.

We went to the brewery for brunch today and had a lovely few hours with delicious food. There were various types of bread, rolls, sausage, cheese, salmon, fresh fruit, a few warm dishes and more. There was something for everyone. You could tap water and orange juice and were included in the price of 20.90 euros per person. We enjoyed it very much and we will definitely come back. The price-performance ratio was completely fine. The staff was very friendly. Maybe a little suggestion: cards with information about what dips and sauces there would be helpful..))

We were there on Saturday evening and loved the atmosphere and were able to reserve a table in advance with our dog. We each had a main course and a dessert because we somehow didn't like the starter menu that much. We found the Wiener Schnitzel (pork) and the zander fillet as well as the apple strudel with ice cream very good. However, you had to wait a relatively long time for the meat/fish dishes (about 1 hour). According to our observations, vegetarian dishes were much quicker.

Very nice location and very nice people who serve us. Food was okay, unfortunately not very hot. Quality but okay, taste but good. If you are looking for a nice environment in Olpe for good company and want to eat something at the same time, the brewery is highly recommended.

A really nice location! Tastefully decorated, tables not too close together, not too loud. The service was very friendly and quick. We were a little disappointed with the food. On the one hand, I miss typical brewery dishes. On the other hand, the Cordon Bleu served was only average, namely rather dry and with ready-made sauce, whereas the fried potatoes and the side salad were good. So there is still room for improvement here.

The BiggeSeeFront brewery is beautifully located on the Obersee/reservoir of the Biggetalsperre in Olpe. There is more than enough parking space available for guests. The ambience and interior are very chic and yet very cozy. The seating is incredibly comfortable, the same applies to the restaurant garden with, in fact, a luxurious lounge feel. Everything flashes and shines! A great feeling to enter so much space and space. Fantastic! The location is called “the brewery”, but it’s not! You won't find the brewing kettle here, which, as usual, adorns the huge dining room surrounded by tables and chairs filled with guests and contains fermentation processes. There are no home brews or specialties on tap here. Freshly tapped brewing material from Kreuztal is served. You get the feeling that it's more of a designer bar for beer, which you can get at the counters in the Sauerland and in the drinks markets, than that it's a brewery. Which doesn't detract from the well-being of the guests. The service is uncomplicated, cheerful, polite and very friendly. Always there without being intrusive. Class! Unfortunately the kitchen is a disappointment. The schnitzel was baked completely dry and was already a little gray on the edge. Which indicates a longer and already pre-breaded storage or a finished product. Solo and lost on a plate garnished with a single yellow baked cherry tomato. The lemon piece was so overdressed in parsley and cress that you wonder whether I should now spread herbs or lemon juice over the dried slice. The fries were soft, pale and under-fried. A stop at the brewery to end the day, after a bike ride, a walk around Lake Obersee or to meet up with friends and colleagues for several drinks is highly recommended. It's better to find out for yourself whether you want to go out to eat. Personally, I'll stay away from the menu in the future. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful evening in "das Brauhaus", thanks also to the service and ambience.

Very pleasant restaurant in a modern industrial style (which I absolutely love anyway). Friendly service, a spontaneous reservation with a group was possible without any problems. Food was delicious and sufficient, a little more expensive, but that is due to the location (it's a tourist area). Something special, but I'm happy to recommend it :-)

Only had something to drink here, so I can't say anything about the food. The restaurant itself has a very attractive, interesting architecture. Cool atmosphere, also nice to sit outside.

What a great location! We accepted an invitation and had an excellent time at the brewery in Olpe. THANK YOU for a great ambience, a cheerful service, the “1st class food” and nice conversations. We had a summer salad, fried chicken and cordon bleu with fries and side salad - "TOP" 👌 We would be happy to visit this restaurant again!

Were there on the occasion of a birthday with a “closed” group. Very cozy and stylish atmosphere. Super delicious food (there was a buffet). Unfortunately, the service wasn't that "on the ball" because the hosts had booked a drinks flat rate, and of course, you don't necessarily run after the guests to encourage them to drink - so you had to wait often and also go in to order something. But all in all, highly recommended.

A milk café in a cappuccino button for just under €5 is crazy. Where's this going to end? The restaurant is ruining itself with the prices. As a young family you can no longer afford this.

Location very nice, as it is these days... many restaurants are done in a similar way. Food was delicious! Chicken very crispy and everything was perfect. Kudos to the kitchen! But organization is bad. Because there was a wedding, other guests waited over an hour to eat! Reason: The wedding celebration has priority! Huh? What does the celebration matter to me? Service arrogant and snooty. Not professional and incomplete Too bad and sad. Not again!!

Delicious food in this attractive restaurant.

The dessert (tiramisu) was completely liquid (chef was informed) the "pink" roast beef was dry. In addition, from 3 a.m. no drinks, not even water, were served. Even a cash payment by the wedding guests or an extra bill was refused. For a celebration that would otherwise go on until 6 a.m., it was really sad and not customer-oriented. I would refrain from celebrating here. Especially weddings. Even after consulting with the boss, he simply pointed out that the party had already been going on for 10 hours and that he had to be back in the store early.

Beautiful brewery, both inside and the terrace. The name is misleading because people think that beer is brewed here. But there is “only” the complete Krombacher range. Our waitress (male, glasses, bald head) was very nice. The food was good, not outstanding, but good. We have also made this known.

Unfortunately, after a long journey, we were thrown out at 9 p.m. after two hours, even though the next day was a holiday and we wanted to spend a nice evening with four couples, the toilet was dirty and the coffee machine was closed before we wanted to pay, a shame, but not recommended at all .

We will definitely go there again, nice restaurant with a large terrace. Great service and delicious food 👍👍

The atmosphere was very nice and the waiters were very nice. I don't think the food is tasty for this price. You would also have gotten this (not so nice on a plate) at a chip shop. For a third of the price. It's OK to sit comfortably and have a drink. I don't have to eat again.

What an impressive location! We were on the terrace on the holiday in the best weather. The two young women who did the service were very attentive, quick and friendly - despite the high number of guests outside. We actually came for lunch, but it was still brunch time. We chose the buffet and were very surprised at the great and diverse selection. Everything was fresh and tasty, even our toddler enjoyed it. The staff always stepped up and we didn't miss anything. The restaurant is beautifully designed and furnished. Very comfortable seating outside. We'll definitely make another trip here.

The food is a disaster!!! Wiener Schnitzel hard and inedible from the deep fryer. Never again.

Ambiance top, brunch and service flop We were there as part of my daughter's birthday. The ambience of the brewery is really great. But that's about all the positive things I have to say. The brunch itself was a real disappointment for us. The service was completely overwhelmed. There were plates missing, then cutlery, then the empty trays weren't refilled. The rolls were handled with bare hands and transferred from the plastic boxes into the baskets at the buffet. The staff didn't wear gloves. We sat pretty far back in the corner, where the service very rarely strayed. The used plates and glasses piled up on the table. The chef didn't cover himself with glory at the buffet either. A lot of convenience products were used. Not even the meatballs were homemade. The schnitzels were already in the warming box in the morning. At lunchtime you could nail them under your shoes. The selection for vegetarians was also quite limited. Overall a real disappointment for us.

Great ambience and beautifully located restaurant directly on Lake Biggesee. The interior is just wow. The chairs are super comfortable. The menu is somewhat limited and the dishes seem to be on the high end, but the portions are large. The service is great. And you can even get the super cheap parking fee (€1 for 2 hours) refunded. Top!

The restaurant offers a great ambience. Open fire, very comfortable seating, simply cozy 😀 Very nice and attentive service. The food was also really tasty. Unfortunately, the vinegar was apparently forgotten in the dressing for the salad. However, the dessert class fully compensated for this. The prices are appropriate for the level of food.

We went there for the first time on a recommendation, overall it was a great place. One can definitely praise the ambience and the quality of the meat (but that's not always the case). The drinks came quite quickly, as did the starter and main course. The service was very friendly and also accepted/understood special requests very well. Unfortunately, there is also some criticism, but I describe it more in the form of an improvement. You could visit guests more often, especially if there are larger groups on site. I would like to see a little more attention being paid there. The steaks could use more salt and pepper, alternatively it would certainly make more sense to place them on the table in the form of salt/pepper shakers (colorful pepper would be advisable here, it adds a nice touch). It would also be a nice gesture on the part of the waitress to inform the customer in advance that there will be no more dessert at 8:30 p.m. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed about that because we're not used to it. Good initial communication would be absolutely the right approach here. Overall, we were very satisfied and will be happy to come back and hope that the suggestions for improvement will be implemented. This would enhance/round off the experience of the concept.
