It's commendable that they also serve hot food in the afternoon. This is a huge advantage if you've worked up an appetite after a long hike and can't or don't want to wait until 5 pm. Impressive ambiance in the old brewery restaurant, lovely beer garden, generally good to very good food, excellent beer – what more could a hiker ask for?!

We were here with relatives from Vienna, and among other things, we conducted a taste test. We ordered Wiener Schnitzel. It was a veal schnitzel, but otherwise, it didn't live up to the name. The schnitzel was too thick, and the breading was on the schnitzel. Unfortunately, this one failed the test. The Schäufele (pork shoulder) was very good, with plenty of meat on the bone, perfect. The roast pork with crackling was too soft, but otherwise, it was good. The beer was perfect.

Tastefully renovated, venerable restaurant. Good, home-style cooking. Excellent beers.

The product is finally back after 15 years! I'm thrilled. I had the pork shoulder. Everything was still so incredibly good. Next time it won't take another 15 years. Keep up the good work!! 👍

Simply fantastic. The food was delicious (we had Schäufele – absolutely superb), the local beer and wine were excellent, the young waitress was very friendly, humorous, and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and Franconian – what more could you want? The prices are also great (especially if you live near Stuttgart). Keep up the good work, we'll definitely be back!

Very tasty food at a reasonable price

The beer garden is very cozy. The dining rooms are very comfortable for groups. The food is varied and delicious.

We stopped by Göller while passing through (on recommendation 😏), okay. My small shoulder of pork was quite okay. My partner's savoy cabbage side dish was a horrible green-brown mush that contained more thickening agent than savoy cabbage. The dumplings and sauces were from a packet, and here, too, the only manual labor was the filling of the plates. The people sitting with us at the table advised against the schnitzel, as it was just pressed meat. The service was the only really good thing. We certainly won't be coming back.

The food and drinks arrived very quickly. The food was once again very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, something went wrong with the table reservation (for the second time). They inquired about how this could have happened and tried to find a solution. I appreciated that.

The Göller brewery restaurant is simply authentic and good. A restaurant like this is rare in Germany. I've been here several times and always come back when I'm in the area. Our friends have known and appreciated the restaurant for a long time, too. The beer (Keller, Merzen, Dunkel, etc.) is very good, and the food is typical Franconian cuisine. The rooms and furnishings are authentically rustic, with several rooms inside for around 50 to 100 people, or even more, and the beer garden outside can accommodate another 100 or more. Playground, trees with shade—what more could you want? Despite the size and often large number of guests, the wait isn't long. The predominantly young service staff is friendly and fast. The prices are fair. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking. We walked the approximately 4-5km loop to the Käppele with the Schmachtenberg castle ruins, both with beautiful views of the Main Valley and Zeil am Main. We returned via the Schick winery, which is also highly recommended. The young winemakers are very friendly and the Blanc de Noir is outstanding! We'll be back.

Beautifully located, very nice Biergarten. Beer absolutely world class, one of the best Pilsners I have had in Germany and Franken (and trust me, I have tried many). Food also very delicious, had a perfectly cooked Scheufele. Will definitely be back!

The food is delicious. Tables should be reserved if possible. The beer garden is open in summer, so it's generally easier to find a spot then. Parking spaces are often full, but there are plenty of spaces nearby.

A rustic inn where all drinks are served in 0.5-liter beer glasses, including a wine spritzer. Unfortunately, some items on the menu weren't available; I would have liked to try a Sauerbraten, but I also enjoyed half a shoulder of pork with sauerkraut and dumplings! It was very busy, and the service was very friendly and attentive.

Arrived in Zeil today and quickly popped into "Göller" on a Monday evening. It was very busy. We sat outside. The staff was super nice, friendly, and attentive. We had two schnitzels. The prices were very reasonable. Both the drinks and the food were reasonably priced, but the quality was very good. We'll definitely be back.

We were in the crowded and very noisy beer garden this evening. We weren't allowed to sit inside. Our dog could barely move, even though we were sitting outside. My husband enjoyed his goulash with noodles, and it was served in no time. I had ordered the vegan vegetable stir-fry without rice, hoping for a bit more vegetables, so I ordered it that way – but instead of a bit more vegetables, there were a lot of tomatoes on the plate. This was more of a tomato stir-fry than a vegetable stir-fry. Offering that to a guest...?

Hearty Franconian-Bavarian cuisine. The dumplings are a dream. The knuckle of pork is nice and crispy, but unfortunately the schnitzel is very greasy. The in-house beer (Baptist) is highly recommended. We were there for a family celebration with over 12 people, and the food arrived very promptly.

The beautiful beer garden was the destination of our motorcycle tour. The food (ham hock, black pudding, schnitzel, and much more) was good and served quickly. The beer was also drinkable and at a good temperature. We felt at home and will definitely be back!

Where could it be nicer than a brewery beer garden like Göller's? Delicious beer in a variety of varieties, rustic Franconian food, fast and friendly service, and excellent organization. You don't have to wait here, even if it gets busy in the evenings. The homemade beer is recommended; I found the white beer well-seasoned, the red not so much. The liverwurst was also excellent.
