We had a delicious meal here. The staff is friendly. The location is good.

We were here on a Sunday evening. The food arrived quickly and was really very good. I highly recommend it! The noise level was normal for a restaurant, and the staff was very, very friendly! If we're ever in town again, we'll definitely come back.

The food was actually okay, maybe a bit small for the price, but I was still hungry at least :D The restaurant itself is really nice, however, it was incredibly loud, making conversation difficult. The waitresses were friendly enough, but it took over 30 minutes to order our food, and when it finally arrived, she spoke so quietly that we had to ask her five times what she was saying. Like many others in the comments, I thought the name would suggest a more interesting beer selection. I like trying new beers, but that wasn't possible here. Overall, it wasn't bad, but I don't think we'll be going back anytime soon.

We were here with four people on October 27, 2025. Everyone's food was delicious. Lunch was hunter's schnitzel with fries...very good.

We ate here with nine people on Saturday, and it was absolutely fantastic—the location, ambiance, staff, food, and even the prices. We were absolutely thrilled, and none of us had any complaints. 👌👍 Thanks to the team for such a wonderful evening.

It was our first time there. We were all thrilled; the service and food were excellent.

Always good. The quality hasn't declined so far and it's always a good place for evenings with small and large groups. Highly recommended, especially for lunch on weekends. There's something for everyone, whether you're a little or a little hungry. The service is friendly and welcoming; sometimes it feels like one or two people are missing to shorten the wait. But most of the time, the staff are great. We've been there twice in quick succession in the summer of 2025, and everything was perfect. Update: We were there with a larger group, and everything went perfectly. The waiters were efficient and prompt. As always, everything was great!

Averagely expensive! I ordered a burger with fried potatoes on the side. The burger was tasty, but not particularly large. There were no other sides, but the price was already unreasonable. The fried potatoes were extremely small and almost too raw to say they were too raw. Potatoes aren't a very expensive ingredient, and I would have expected more for the price. Sure, everything has become more expensive these days, but here the quality doesn't match the price.

The roast beef with onions (€29.90) was lukewarm, the portion of fried potatoes (€4.90) was very small and also lukewarm, and the pan-fried vegetables (€4.90) were also very hot. Unfortunately, there was no way to charge e-bikes, and that was almost everywhere on the tour along the Ruhr.

I was absolutely speechless yesterday. The service was okay, but the food was an absolute disaster! The burger was of really poor quality, served on a cake plate without any garnish or side dish, and ridiculously expensive! The handful of salad with the small piece of burnt chicken breast for €19.50 was an absolute disgrace. I was really embarrassed in front of my friends who came from out of town! I didn't remember this "restaurant" being so bad and expensive! I have a lot of understanding for the rising prices and am happy to pay a bit more for good food, but making money out of crap is completely unacceptable! Of course, I complained directly to the restaurant, but I don't think anyone there cared.

I can only recommend this restaurant with reservations, as I don't think the value for money is acceptable. The prices are relatively high, and the food is mediocre. If you want to add salad and fries to the burger, which is already expensive, it'll quickly add up to €25 or more. That's pretty steep. I won't be going there again.

Good morning, I had lunch here. Price-wise, I'd say it's a bit on the upscale side (I'm from a rural area), but the high-quality food is perfectly fair at just under €23 for a schnitzel, fries, salad, and a drink.

After our stroll through Arnsberg's old town, we discovered this restaurant. We didn't have a reservation (just be aware of that), but we were served quickly. Great service, a quaint, new ambiance, and, above all, good, home-style cooking, which is something you rarely find. The food was plentiful, and we were surprised that you could actually get a decent amount of it on your fork. We highly recommend this restaurant 👍👍👍👍👍 The restrooms were also quaint and very clean. 💪👍

Anyone who likes to be taken for a fool is in good hands here. Instead of the fresh mushrooms promised on the menu, cheap canned mushrooms were obviously served with the schnitzel in cream sauce. If I had been aware of this, I would have ordered a different dish. When we pointed out that this was a shame and disappointing, there was no apology - instead we were fobbed off with a blatant lie: they coldly claimed that these were fresh mushrooms. Disrespectful treatment of paying guests and a disgrace for the store.

Ate some thick schnitzel. It was fine in itself, but a schnitzel should be thin and large. Sat outside because of the nice weather. The table and sofa were very wobbly.

Very good authentic restaurant with very good products in the old town if you come to visit take a short break you will not be disappointed, very good wine and very good beer.

My husband and I ate here on 4/26/25. The “Waldmeister” schnitzel with cream sauce and fresh mushrooms were freshly prepared and very tasty. Supplements must be ordered and paid for separately. The service was great and our special requests were fulfilled. The 3 stars for the ambience result from our outdoor seating. It could be made a little nicer there.

Yesterday we ate there again for a long time and were really pleasantly surprised! The service was nice and quick. The food was really good and tasty! A lot has happened there! We will be there more often now! :-)

Very attentive, friendly and fast service. The food came quite quickly. Unfortunately, my spare ribs were a little too "soft" without a bite, very fatty and a little too "bland" for my taste. But my wife's schnitzel was as expected, large, nicely prepared and tasty.

I ate there with my daughters because we had tickets for the Sauerland Theater.

We were invited by our children to a Father's Day breakfast. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was very good and we didn't miss anything. My son was very enthusiastic about the waffles that you can bake yourself and then top with different toppings. We particularly enjoyed the scrambled eggs with bacon. All in all, we had a nice morning with the brewing brothers. Gladly again😁

Today the three of us visited the brewery brothers for the first time and had lunch. What can I say, we were thrilled!!! We felt like we were in good hands and the food was really tasty. Two small errors were addressed immediately and we were taken seriously. The ambience is completely to our liking. We're not from nearby but we'll definitely be back!!

Unfortunately we didn't like it. Schnitzel & fried potatoes were dripping with fat. The vegan burger didn't taste good either. It's a shame because the atmosphere was cozy and the service was very friendly.

I bought 2 portions of "Winterschokolade" for 5,40€ But in my Rechnung is only total summa, I can't see price for 100 g z.B. Anout taste: dry..too dry cake as for me. Good place to have something to eat and drink beer. Nice spatious interior, many typem of beer. You can have typical German meal or just go for burger. Price-wise it is Ok.

Great restaurant. Schnitzel and fries were just okay, as well as the coleslaw. Price is fine but not cheap. Atmosphere is good, nice decor and nice lighting in a beautiful building. Friendly staff. The only area for improvement is the waiting time between ordering and serving!

I really like the menu, not much choice, which I personally see as positive. Don't be spoiled for choice! Staff very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately my favorite burger is no longer on the menu (Pulled Burger). Therefore one star less for the food, otherwise great! 👍

The beer was poorly tapped. A sad sight. No foam. Not a pretty sight. Not a showcase pub/restaurant for Veltins.. The food is a horror. Where is the Veltins charm of the local area? Many dishes that have no connection to Sauerland. That no one in Sauerland knows. Just hamburgers etc. This is so sad... You should take a look at a traditional locality in the area. The Veltins Logo used to be a high-quality dining restaurant. Just a french fries shop here... Or rather... Hamburger Shed.

Instead of the usual exotic, Italian, Spanish etc. Today we opted for traditional cuisine in Arnsberg. A good choice, the spare ribs and medallions are of very good quality and super tasty. And not only the food, but also the service and atmosphere are excellent. A nice detail is the ceiling... completely made up of doors. We will definitely visit this more often!!!!

Totally cozy, rustic and yet stylish restaurant. I was surprised at how delicious and rich the dishes are. Everything freshly prepared. Through a pane of glass you can look into the tidy and clean kitchen and watch the chef preparing the food. However, you are mainly busy looking at the many interesting details in the guest room. The service:1. Class! Attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Really nice there. A real recommendation.

Having eaten in the restaurant many times (>2000) I have to say: best fries ever (incredibly crispy), one of the best burgers, very delicious ice cream, good Grevensteiner Brau. I'm very satisfied!

Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was excellent, good schnitzels and side dishes that tasted delicious. The portions were generous and even though we were a large group, the service was very fast. There is wheelchair access at the back. Highly recommended for a successful evening.

We've been going to the brewing brothers' house every now and then since it opened. And it got worse step by step. The low point and thus the end for us was the last breakfast, an unbelievable disappointment. The buffet was empty about an hour before breakfast ended. One person in service, no one in the kitchen. The orange juicer that wasn't emptied regularly last year is now gone. Absolutely embarrassing for 16 euros per nose. Almost exactly a year ago, the visit was worth three stars to us, but now there is only one. The store won't see us again.

Food (Twersbraten) was inedible. The sauce tasted musty and was not edible. The service responded poorly to criticism. Too bad.

Once again excellent food and service. I meet up with old friends here once a year and they are always more than satisfied. The food is great, the atmosphere is cozy but still modern and the service leaves nothing to be desired. The only thing I and my friends would be very happy about is an expanded selection of vegetarian dishes. Currently, apart from salads, there is only one burger available as a vegetarian main course.

Beer gardens are rare in this area and so we cyclists were happy that we found this one. On Thursdays there is always a schnitzel menu with a drink for €21.50. Gladly again!
