Brasserie in Weiskirchen

When I'm at the Park Hotel, I always go to the brasserie with my family for dinner. The food there is very good. The ingredients are freshly prepared. And that comes at a price. The service is friendly and fast. I've always felt very comfortable here. Of course, there are also the complainers. I tell them, if it's too expensive or not good enough for you, just go somewhere else and it'll be okay. I give the brasserie full stars because I've eaten here so many times and know exactly what to judge.

The Brasserie is not recommended for dining. The food is far too expensive, comparable to other German restaurants in the village. A schnitzel menu costs €28, without a salad and a meager basket of fries.

The food in the bistro is good, and the portions are generous. The gourmets among us probably won't be satisfied with the portion sizes. There are other establishments for that. We had the daily special twice, on two different days. They were very good. The drinks are a bit overpriced. The service is attentive and very friendly, but not intrusive. We were completely satisfied and cannot understand some of the negative reviews.

I can't understand the bad reviews here. We've eaten here three times now... and have always been satisfied. Prices are a bit higher, as you'd expect from a 4-star superior hotel, but still reasonable. The food is delicious, there's a good selection, and the service is quick and attentive. The atmosphere is lovely. Only the wine and cocktail prices are a bit steep. We'll definitely eat here again the next time we stay at a hotel.

We had fish soup, which tasted and smelled like canned fish (like herring fillet in tomato sauce) with a small piece of fish in it, and a scampi. The scampi was unfortunately inedible. After complaining, we received (only) a €2.80 discount; a fresh portion or alternative dish was not offered. The almost full plate was cleared away with the comment, "I see you didn't like it." The Caesar salad was drowned in sauce and tasted okay. Unfortunately, the prices were far too high for the quality. The ambiance was pleasant and decorated with attention to detail.

The prices are high, though: over-salted fries with the €18 burger, and completely burnt fried potatoes with the €26 schnitzel. This isn't an isolated incident, and has happened several times.

Very friendly and helpful staff, looks like a bar but cosy and relaxing atmosphere, very good mocktails so I’m guessing the same about the cocktails, had one of the flammküchen and a schnitzel and it was very good. Good energy ;-)

Very good food and drinks—albeit a bit overpriced. Nice ambiance. Friendly, attentive, and competent staff. Unfortunately, the staff isn't allowed to offer a glass of tap water unless you're taking medication.

All in all: completely overpriced. 0.75l water 7.50; 0.2l wine 8.50. The food is too expensive for the below average quality.

Unfortunately, despite the empty hall, the waitress didn't have time to serve two adults and a small child, so we left after 10 minutes of being completely ignored.
