A very nice pizzeria in a cellar vault. Very lovingly and comfortably decorated. It's something special indeed. The food was very good. The service was friendly, but unfortunately not very attentive. We waited a long time for our food, and only after asking several times did they take care of it. Our order had been forgotten. But regardless, it was a truly lovely evening, and we'd gladly come back.

Four of us went to the pizzeria. We had made a reservation the day before for four people down in the basement. ...I just saw that four seats were free in the basement...After that, I accepted...When we arrived, we were told...the boss said we weren't allowed to serve down in the basement...After that, we were "shipped" to the market square. My wife and her friend ordered two appetizers as their main course. My friend and I each ordered a pizza and a salad. The women's food arrived after about 20 minutes. After about an hour and a half, a "waitress" came and asked if everything was okay. I said, "No," unfortunately. The two pizzas hadn't arrived yet. And neither had the salads for starters. 10 minutes later, the waitress told us that the food had been prepared but was being served to other people at the tables. After an hour and a half, we had had enough, and I asked for the bill and receipt. The waitress wanted to send it to me via text message or email. We paid without a tip and agreed. Never again to this pizzeria.

Exceptional location. It's located in the "basement." Beautifully designed space. Very friendly staff. The food was delivered relatively quickly, but it wasn't very busy when we arrived. I can't judge how long it takes when the place is "full." The portions are a bit larger, in my opinion.

The restaurant is located in the basement and is very stylish and impressive. We were really lucky and got a seat for 1.5 hours without a reservation. The chef personally visits the tables and asks how we are satisfied. The staff is very friendly, always accommodating, and very kind and helpful. The food is prepared quickly, and there was nothing to complain about. The drinks are nice and cold. There are appetizers, antipasti, salads, pizza, meat, pasta—everything your heart desires. And there are several desserts to choose from. I am absolutely thrilled with such service and thank you to the entire team. We will be back on our next vacation.

I really like this restaurant, but unfortunately, they forgot or didn't write down our reservation a few weeks ago. No one wanted to take responsibility for this mistake, and ultimately, after making us wait a long time, we couldn't get a seat in the restaurant. That was a real shame and a huge disappointment. That's why I'm only giving it 2 stars, even though I could have given it more.

Great pizza and great location!

Very nice ambiance! Some salad leaves had mushy edges. Service was very poor! The waitress wanted to clear the table while we were still eating (!?), then didn't come back for 45 minutes. Waving and calling didn't help. About five young waitresses just chatted to each other, stood around at the entrance, and had no overview. In the end, I had to go inside to pay, pushing my way through the crowd of waitresses outside, who were joking around with each other and blocking the entrance. It would be good if they received minimal training or supervision. You pay for service, not just the mushy lettuce leaves. The beautiful ambiance of a marketplace could have been had at the competition, too.

The restaurant is located on the Ems Cycle Path. Since I was on my bike and my battery was running low, I asked if there was a place to charge it. But I didn't get a response. From the window on the side above the square, a man asked me to move my bike while I stood there waiting for a response. Later, I would have liked to have a Pinot Grigio, but there was no room. There were many unoccupied tables all around, most with "reserved" signs. Okay, so there might have been a misunderstanding. It's busy, and there are lots of waiters around.

A great place to go if you're looking for an Italian restaurant. The food is amazing. The food is cooked with love. Simply delicious and highly recommended.

Table reserved for 13 people. Restaurant about 80% full. Wait time about 2.5 hours for half pizza orders and the other half simple pasta dishes. Beer is only served from bottles in wine glasses. I politely asked the owner about the wait and his willingness to accommodate. He gave a somewhat rude response. In the end, he had the waiter bring a bottle, the contents of which I don't know, for each guest. You don't have to experience that.

Very nice ambiance. Pizza and pasta dishes were rather average. Bread was served beforehand, but without a dip. The oil (not olive oil) on the table was of very, very poor quality. It looked like water and tasted like it, too. Unfortunately, all the cutlery wasn't particularly clean. Beer is served in large wine glasses. All in all, not really worth the long drive.

A true gem in Telgte! Fratelli never fails to impress. The ambiance is exceptional – you dine in a charming old wine cellar, giving the restaurant a very special, cozy, yet elegant atmosphere. The food impresses with its quality and refinement. The homemade pasta is a dream – you immediately taste the freshness and care with which it is cooked. Also particularly noteworthy are the changing dishes, which are always creative and seasonally coordinated. For seafood lovers, there are fresh oysters and other specialties – all excellently prepared. An all-round successful visit, as always. A clear recommendation for anyone who appreciates good food in a special setting!

All in all, a great restaurant with delicious food in a wonderful atmosphere. The young, friendly, and polite service staff deserves special mention. The only criticism: The outdoor area occasionally smelled of manure.

Our favorite Italian in Telgte! Food TOP, service TOP and the furnishings in the cellar vault are great. Unfortunately, the high tables at the bar are a bit uncomfortable for a relaxed evening, so it's better to ask for a low table when making your reservation. The service is excellent.

Very friendly reservation, very cozy atmosphere. There were three of us, we ordered a starter and 3 main courses. Then things got a little difficult. The first main course - delicious, homemade pasta with truffles - came before our friend's starter. After about half an hour our friend's starter arrived and almost at the same time the main course - pasta with octopus, tasty, but unfortunately a bit cold. My husband ordered salmon steak and it didn't come at all. The high rating is because both the young service staff and the owner responded to our complaint in an exemplary manner and took us seriously. You can tell that it is important to the entire team to make the guests happy. We weren't charged for the entire meal - a very big concession. can go wrong. Always something, we are very familiar with the catering industry. Thank you for your professionalism. We'll be back.

The ambience is great and it is always very tastefully decorated. Since I'm a vegetarian, I eat pizza, salad or pasta - that means I can't judge meat, fish and the like - what I've eaten so far has tasted very good! It's actually always full, which speaks for quality, but that also means it's always very loud and cramped. The seating is often very awkward. People then sit back to back in the aisles, so that neither guests nor waiters can walk unhindered. But that's only on the side... otherwise everything is great and the waitresses are very friendly.

When I ordered online I was given a pickup time of 30 minutes. After just 10 minutes an email came that the order was ready. So our food sat on the warming surface for about 20 minutes. When I picked it up I was told "if the kitchen isn't full it'll be a little quicker." Unfortunately, as an online orderer, I have a hard time assessing how full the kitchen is. The food itself was delicious, but certainly even better hot.

Seating options opposite the counter on the wall are too narrow and very cramped, the existing cushions in the back don't help at all. Pizza marinara was too salty and consisted only of anchovies and black olives.

We wanted a table reservation for a Sunday at 12.30 p.m. This was rejected on the grounds that full attention could only be given to us at 1pm... ?? (official opening time Sunday at 12.30 p.m.) When we arrived at 1 p.m. we were very surprised that only 2 tables with 4 people each were occupied...?? This approach was incomprehensible to us... Unfortunately, the pizza we ordered was only served lukewarm and the juice spritzers were all very watery and tasteless... overall not satisfactory.

Unfortunately we have to deduct one star. Unfortunately, our early online reservation (also confirmed in writing) was only scheduled for an hour later in the restaurant. We were then assigned an uncomfortable passage space in the counter area. (The bench seat was too low for the table height for eating!) It was very restless there because of all the through traffic. Everything else was very satisfactory. Very good tasty pizza. All the dishes that were served at the other tables also looked very appealing and appetizing, service was very good and always attentive, very nice ambience in the vaulted cellar. We'd love to come back too.

We had a fantastic evening at Fratelli! The entire team did a great job and were exceptionally attentive and friendly despite the full house - a level of service that is rarely experienced today. The food was a pleasure: delicious, generously portioned and with an absolutely convincing price-performance ratio. In addition, the cozy ambience creates a sociable and inviting atmosphere with a charming, rustic flair. A big compliment to the entire team – we are already looking forward to our next visit! 😊

The food there is great, but when everything is full you can no longer understand your own words, very loudly! Pick-up service: Spaghetti wasn't attractive, like I'd eaten before, just popped it into the aluminum box, pizza was ice cold at home, delivery service no thanks, sorry!

Sensational restaurant. Went there today for Christmas dinner with the family. We had everything well under control. Antipasti was great, sole was gigantic, fillet steak and pasta too. The main course took a while, but it was understandable at Christmas with a full hut. Very young, capable, friendly staff. The atmosphere deserves a 6th star. Highly recommended.

I invited my family (12 adults and 2 small children) to Fratelli for my big birthday. It was a very special atmosphere, balloons and a garland were attached, the table was beautifully set, the food was incredibly good, and the service was perfect! Another song came through the loudspeaker, especially for me, and then a special dessert for me, with Happy Birthday written in chocolate, served with sparklers and sung by the service team. All I can say is that it was a wonderful evening and I would like to thank the entire team for their efforts and the more than great service!!!! This is absolutely not a given!! For years, this has been a historic place with a sociable atmosphere that is unlikely to exist anywhere else in the area. The old vault, the rustic wooden barrels, the committed owners, the friendly service, the delicious, fresh and competently prepared food and an extensive wine list are the guarantee for a successful evening, which can also be enjoyed on the terrace in summer. The Böttcher Keller......this is a must for every visitor to Telgteb!

Ambience very nice after a while it unfortunately gets a bit fresh, knives were handed over from the table opposite, 4 knives were very blunt and we tried them and were barely able to cut through our pizza, tables were re-set while we were still sitting at the table, uncomfortable, espresso not recommended Very small coffee, I'll try it again at another time but otherwise I wasn't very impressed.

Very tasty food and nice service that is sometimes a bit overwhelmed. Unfortunately, without a reservation you won't be offered a nice place to sit. Benches that are unfortunately too narrow and uneven and tables that are not at a comfortable height. It's a shame but still very good food.

In the wrong place at the wrong time! On a Thursday the restaurant was packed. This certainly speaks for the restaurant, but it would be more clever to answer “no” when asked for a seat. After 40 minutes I couldn't place an order and left hungry again. It probably shouldn't be today 😕 Since I'm traveling, I probably won't get a second chance 🤷‍♂️

Based on the reviews we decided to visit this restaurant. Yes, not bad, but from our point of view the overall package is not consistent, the quality of some dishes and ingredients are at discounter quality level/origin (e.g. antipasta plates). The oil that is on the tables also matches this.

The first visit to the restaurant was a disaster. Food was delivered to the wrong guest and the starter was not served as ordered. Today we ordered because everyone deserves a second chance, but what came next was really unbelievable. In the picture you can clearly see how burnt the bread is.......and the bruscetta is served on it!! It's really abysmal to let something like that leave the kitchen at all. Conclusion after eating there twice.....completely overpriced for rather modest service, therefore not recommended!!!

The boss "Don Hartmuto" a fan of the Spanish way of life drove us crazy serves good Mallorcan red wine and at a fair price. The Fratelli is definitely a restaurant that is run with passion... from fillet to freshwater prawns, the menu is really extensive and varied,... plus exciting wines in the beautiful vaulted cellar... therefore my highest recommendation!

Well, that's a pizzeria. Can be found in the Böttcherhus on the town hall square in Telgte. An ancient vaulted cellar with an original wrought iron door, superbly furnished. A young, nice landlady welcomed us warmly and told us a lot about the history of the old cellar. The service was also very friendly. The ciabatta bread at the beginning was very good. The salami pizza also had a wonderful dough, but the tomato sauce could have been seasoned better. Unfortunately the salami was also baked, which is not done in Italy. Therefore one point deducted. I would have also really liked a Pils, freshly tapped. This restaurant is highly recommended. A highlight in Telgte. We will be back.

The spaghetti is tossed in a large parmesan loaf at the table! That smelled so great!! The service was very friendly, courteous and very competent. The next table has already been pre-booked. That's what you should do. The pizzeria is very busy even during the week.

Perfect atmosphere for an italian restaurant, delicious food and accommodating service - there is nothing left to be desired here: I did not expect to find such a gem in this small town and because of that I must apologize to Telgte! We had reserved a table for a special anniversary day. Everything was perfect, the boss greeted us warmly, put fresh flowers on the table for us and served us an aperitif. Great. The food, we had pizza, pasta and panna cotta were very tasty. Great restaurant, I can recommend it, but reserve a table in good time.
