Although we accidentally made a reservation in the main restaurant instead of on the boat, we were warmly welcomed (at peak activity). Despite the lack of staff, we received excellent service and the food was delicious. Thank you for a good time on the boat! It was just beautiful 🤩

Very good location, near the river and the bridge. The food was a disappointment, felt like it was badly cooked or of a poor quality. We tried Jäger schnitzel and sausage. The waitresses were very polite. Recommended but only for a beer.

Food is average as always but we got here for the atmosphere anyways (perfect location) Staff let us swap table which is a nice gesture. But because of that, we nearly waited one hour for the bill. The waiter needed to call the other waiter from the other seats section… very confusing

Tourist Trap! It's overpriced, fastfood menu tasted better. 🍻 A beer cost €4 on cash basis and using a contactless payment price changes to €10, Not even worth wastin' your money here cos ambience is pretty bad.

We were there yesterday and even though it was well attended due to the Mainfest, we were quickly assigned a nice spot. The service was super friendly and the food was very, very tasty. And of course not to forget Mrs. Rauscher. Just great there.

We were assigned a place. After we chose drinks and food, unfortunately no one came to us for 15 minutes, despite a hand gesture and a look at the waitress. Then we left the restaurant again. It's a shame because the location on the water is very nice.

Nice setting on the water on a warm, summer's day. Only had a beer here. Service was not great - no acknowledgement on entering or sitting down; waited for service for ages and when tried to flag a waitress down she just shrugged and indicated it wasn't her section. General attitude of wait staff seemed miserable and uninterested, although our waitress was very friendly when she finally showed up. Food looked good enough and reasonably priced, but didn't try it so can't comment.

You can sit outside great. The view of the skyline is great. The service was also great, very attentive. Unfortunately, the schnitzel and the fried potatoes weren't that great. But the hand cheese variation is recommended.👍

Great boathouse on the Main! A reservation is not required, the food is brought quickly by the friendly staff and it tastes very good. We recommend the hand cheese with music and of course an Appler.

Cozy location where you can enjoy your food or drinks while floating on the water. The service is fast and attentive. The menu is fairly simple but in proportion to the prices.

Yesterday we spontaneously went to Ms. Rauscher's for the first time and we really enjoyed it. The service was really nice, we felt very comfortable. We found the prices to be moderate, especially for the city center location. The view is magnificent. Since we only had pretzels, I won't rate the food, maybe next time 😉 We would like to come again

Had lunch there today. Schnitzel tasted terrible. The lettuce crunched when chewed and had quite wilted leaves in it, some of which were already black. The service was ok.

We were with a larger group in the Ms. Rauscher boathouse. The ambience there, with a view of the skyline, is of course a highlight. Since the restaurant is on a boat, you can easily feel the waves. The food there is good, home-style but nothing exceptional. The meat loaf with fried egg was good, the potato salad was even very good. However, my colleagues who had ordered schnitzel were all dissatisfied. The schnitzels were tasteless and difficult to cut/chew

I was there again today. Unfortunately, the super friendly “Robin” wasn’t there in service. His kindness and attentiveness “made my day” during the World Cup. Great location, unique view of the skyline, with rustic Frankfurt cuisine.

A very nice place to stay. We only had something to drink and can't say anything about the food. Prices okay for the location. You feel like you are on a ship as it lies on the water and rocks. It's definitely worth taking a break there.

Nice location on the Main with a nice view of the skyline. It was very crowded and also very loud due to a party on the adjacent ship. However, the service was very friendly and despite there being a lot of people, we were served relatively quickly. The drinks were great (7Up and sparkling cider), the food was ok. The schnitzels were very thin and sometimes a bit tough, but the fried potatoes were very tasty. Definitely suitable for a nice end to the day.

They make you wait for 45 mins to come and take an order finally at 10:05 pm and then the waiter (Miguel) lies that the kitchen closes at 09:30 pm (whereas it closes at 10). Pathetic service! Don’t visit!

A very nice place to relax after strolling on the banks of the Main or in the city. The ambience is really romantic, especially in the evenings. Food and drink are very good. We particularly recommend taking a look at the “Cocktails” section in the menu! The service is friendly, but sometimes you have to wait a long time, which is probably due to the large crowds. It's often very crowded here - but with good reason!

Well placed on the river overlooking the city. The service was fast with the staff being very polite, friendly and having a good command of English. I ordered the Frankfurt green sauce with egg and potatoes, the green sauce was fresh and delicious as were the eggs, however , the dish would have been better served with roasted potatoes. My friend ordered the schnitzel which was good quality and came with roasted potatoes and mushrooms. Prices are reasonable for the area and the quality of food. it would have been nice to have a fish option on the menu.

TOP, great location, view of the Frankfurt skyline, warm welcome and got a table without reservation 7/2014, friendly service, Slight rocking...but only when a ship passes by, eating Frankfurt sausages with potato salad and drinking a shandy. Toilets at the end of the boathouse, we'll be happy to come back 😃

I was here on Sunday with 2 friends. We were served by a tall young man who put us in a very good mood. His recommendations for drinks and food were on point. With his charm and his funny manner, the evening became a real experience. We are already looking forward to the next visit and hope that we can catch him as a waiter again.

Essen (June 29th) with a view of the Frankfurt skyline. Restaurant on the boat, directly under the Eiserner Steg on the Sachsenhausen side. Mr. Rauscher's salad plate with delicious dressing and a good portion size.

Waited 1 hour for my good butter pretzel and were outraged

Too much debited - instead of 22 euros 49 euros! We were there about 2 weeks ago... quite spontaneously on a Thursday. The service was great - especially the lady at the reception. We got a nice spot on the water side. We ordered 1 pair of Frankfurt sausages with potato salad and two cocktails... Aperol Spritz... When we wanted to leave, we waited at the counter at the entrance to pay. It was quite hectic and took a long time. I paid around 22 euros + 5 euros tip for the lovely stay. Today I looked at my bank statements and found that 49 euros had been debited from me! Very sad. Especially since I went back to keep the bill - because I only briefly looked at the card reader and had a bad feeling. Beautifully located "Apfelweinwirtschaft" with a view of the Main, a must when the weather is nice. But unfortunately the staff seems uncoordinated. You walk to the table with a drink or food and leave the empty glasses. We waited over 30 minutes for our hand cheese meal, even though the tables were hardly occupied!!! We were particularly shocked when we went to pay. Because of the history, we gave a tip of Euro 1.50. The waiter's question was then it wasn't okay!!!!!! There are people for whom 1.50 euros is a lot of money, but not accepting it because you don't like the answer is an absolute no go. The staff at headquarters would rock the whole thing at half and pay a lot more attention to the guests. It's a shame that people don't appreciate money anymore, but perhaps it's spoiled by tourists. Tried again today and the experience wasn't any better. Waited 20 minutes and no waitress asked if we wanted anything!!!! Then we went to Sachsenhausen to see struwellpeter. Very nice staff and it's hard to believe that after 3 minutes we were able to order our drinks.

Great view over the river and Frankfurt

I was really thirsty today at 32 degrees and wanted to buy some water from Ms. Rauscher's boat in Frankfurt am Main. Unfortunately I only had Apple Pay and no cash with me. Even though it was very hot, I wasn't sold any water or offered tap water because card payments are only possible from €10 onwards. This regulation exists because Ms. Rauscher does not want to pay card fees. I find it very disappointing and inhumane that in such extreme temperatures you don't even have the opportunity to buy a drink of water. Such behavior is simply dishonorable.

Food and location are great. Unfortunately, the old waiters are no longer on board. A lack of language skills among staff sometimes leads to misunderstandings. Therefore only 3 stars for the service.

View is great. The lady waitress is nice and amazing, and the recommended meal from her was delicious. But the young man waiter forgot my coffee. After waiting for 20 minutes I asked the lady waitress for help. She is the best.

Really great ambience with an unrestricted view of the skyline! Ideal for lunch and/or day drinking in summer. The vegan green sauce is also really tasty, and the Aperol at €7.50 is completely okay for Frankfurt standards. Unfortunately the service wasn't particularly attentive, otherwise it was a really nice spot.

In the boat restaurant under the iron bridge, it is highly recommended to sit close to the river bank, the view will be great. I ordered the traditional fried pork chop with Frankfurt sauce, which was so delicious. Pair it with refreshing apple cider to start a wonderful first day in Frankfurt!

Great atmosphere right on the Main. The view is really great and the service is friendly and nice. The surprising thing is the prices. Very fair and sometimes cheap for the view. The Aperol Spritz was delicious and high in alcohol. The atmosphere was very, very great right on the water and I'll be back soon :)

Sorry, I can't say more because the two of us had to wait five minutes, even though several tables were free, and in the meantime an acquaintance from the stadium (the conversation resulted) was allowed to get on the ship with his companion and choose a seat. In the meantime, a number of service staff walked past us. We then left.

Fast food, slightly slower service

I was on a sightseeing tour of Frankfurt with a friend and we discovered this wonderful restaurant. We both chose the schnitzel with green sauce, which tasted very good and was good value for money. The location is good, right on the Main with a good view of the skyline. We were also able to witness a wedding proposal on the Main. I can highly recommend this boat restaurant to everyone.

Staff not friendly Quantity of expresso was ridiculous

Well situated place on the river side with great views of the Frankfurt skyline. The menu includes classic German dishes with decent pricing. I had the Jägerschnitzel - the hunter's schnitzel with mushrooms and apple cider. The drinks were great - not sweet, or diluted, however make sure to ask for the pure version, not sour or sweet, since what it means is that the tasty cider is mixed with sparkling water or sweet syrup respectively. The food was ok, meat was very thick for a schnitzel (unless that's a local culture 🤷🏻‍♂️). The apple strudel was amazing and worth the money.

Went there spontaneously yesterday (holiday!) and were assigned a great spot. The food was excellent (just as it should taste in an Äppler pub) and inexpensive, the service was quick and friendly. What more do you want?!

Very bad service. We were there today. There is a sign at the front telling you to wait until a seat is assigned. Unfortunately, we were initially ignored while waiting at the front for at least 15 minutes because no one felt responsible for allocating seats, even though there were plenty of seats available. After someone from the service staff became interested in us, we were politely asked to find a place. After we found a place and after 20 minutes no one felt responsible for us and no drinks were taken, we left. Even if there is a lot going on, as a guest/customer you shouldn't feel like you have to justify being served there. Nice location Either way: The management should do more to ensure that there is good service. Unfortunately, the location doesn't make up for everything. We prefer to leave our money in places where you are welcome as a guest and don't feel like a burden. Too bad for the place. Definitely not a recommendation.

Unfortunately, I have to inform you that I was here with my family today for Father's Day and it is catastrophic there, the staff doesn't give a damn. If you don't feel like working, stay at home or hire people who are interested in serving customers. Only on the cell phone no overview waiting waiting no one comes and then they left too bad actually a nice place but well how the employees can ruin it for you.

A really great place, unfortunately you almost have to beg the waitress, for example that you want to pay. If you still have unanswered wishes, yes will be said but then immediately forgotten. Our food was very good. Food and drinks were also brought quickly. If you want to drink something else, you should make yourself known, because even if the glasses are empty, no one will come and ask if you want anything else. The service is ok but nothing more... otherwise the view is very nice and the price isn't bad either.

Very slow service. Took nearly 20 minutes to take our drinks order then another 20 to actually receive a drink. Seemed the same for every table. It's a shame because the location is great and they could have a really good business if they improved the service and quality of drinks (our gin and tonic was the worst I've ever had!)

Lunch crowds regardless of the good weather, but waiting almost 30 minutes for drinks is tough. Ordered two warm dishes, both of which arrived not really warm. The service seems very stressed and therefore rather unfriendly. A pity.

Really bad! I'm still sitting, the service staff aren't in the mood, they're shouting at the guests, making mistakes at EVERY table... when they come to the tables after almost ONE HOUR. With all understanding of the lunch rush, that's not possible. Three cyclists were ordered, and after 36 minutes two arrived. Anyway. The schnitzel tasted strange and we couldn't finish it. Absolute disaster.

I was here yesterday with my brother. When we arrived there was a queue of people wanting to get on the boat. It wasn't clear to me whether there was a maximum number of people on the boat and there were still a few benches and tables free, so it seemed to me like the service wasn't that well organized. There was a gentleman at the bar, two ladies who assigned seats, took orders, served and collected. These were supported by two young men who were only allowed to serve. At least four people were working in the kitchen. It took a good 10 minutes before we were allowed to sit down (second in line, four groups and couples behind us) and another 10 minutes before we were allowed to order. There is still some room for improvement here. As a waitress, I would also have asked the two of us if we could sit at one of the three free seats for two so that the table would be free for the next group of four to six people. I probably would have refused that myself because I like to talk to the people who come to the table, but you could have sat in another small group. The service is friendly and attentive. There was also a lot going on at the moment, which made up for the wait. The drinks also came quickly and the hand cheese was prepared quickly. The one Handkäs was actually three Harzers. In contrast to what you get served in many other restaurants, these were ripe and well seasoned. Yummy! There was also plenty of tasty bread and butter. I was happy with that. The schnitzel and sausage salad from our table neighbors also looked excellent. The portion of schnitzel was so generous that they had to have half of it wrapped up. The Frankfurt wreath in the display also looked good. If we hadn't had anything else to do, I would have liked to have stayed for a slice and a coffee. The price for the hand cheese was okay. I found two 0.5L sour sprays for a total of 10 euros to be borderline but just okay. This is Frankfurt and the location easily makes up for it. The ambience is nice. You have a good view of the impressive Frankfurt skyline from every seat. We'd love to come back

This place was fantastic for grabbing a beer and apfelwein. It's right by the historic iron bridge, offering beautiful views of the River Main. I didn't try the food, but the drinks were excellent – some of the best in Frankfurt!

Great place, nice atmosphere, I liked knowing that some (or all) of the service can speak Spanish, which made it easier for us to ask for recommendations. The guy who served us was very nice to us and the food was delicious, we ordered different types of a dish to taste the difference between them and they were all very good. And the desserts were incredible.

Ms. Rauscher and the boathouse on the Eisernen Steg are simply part of the cult and part of Frankfurt. You sit in the boathouse directly in the water and can watch the goings-on on the Main. To eat there are typical Frankfurt dishes such as Gref Völsing Rindswursr and Handkäs with music. The food was good. You just had to bring some time with you that day because there was a lot going on ☺️

Sleepy staff! It takes forever for someone to take the order and again until something actually happens. What a shame for the great location!

Awful service bc in the hour that we sat, we were never served the ordered drinks. Sat down and waited 20 minutes for someone to come get our order (which consisted of 3 drinks on tap). Waited for 40 minutes, no drinks were brought to anyone sitting in our row of tables. Another waiter came and took down everyone's orders again. Waited another 20 minutes and no one came to our table to bring our drinks so we decided to leave. It wasn't busy and everyone was ordering drinks at 3pm in the afternoon. Go anywhere else and you'll at least be served.
