Overall a great location. A unique view of the Rhine and Mainz, courteous service and excellent food. Only the signage is a bit challenging for those unfamiliar with the area.

The location is wonderful, the service has always been impeccable, the food is delicious. In summer you can sit wonderfully on the terrace. If you are passing through in summer, then the beer garden is recommended. Here too, the guys (they were all men when I was there😄) were very service-oriented. The restaurant has a great ambience and is tastefully decorated. The seasonal menu is also nice and we always had enough. If you come by car there is a parking space opposite. Parking spaces for bicycles are also available.

We celebrated a wonderful and beautiful wedding in the boathouse. 🙏❤️ Nidal is simply a perfect host and we cannot describe in words how happy he made us. Cuisine/drinks and service is simply recommended. This location with its team is a complete hit. Thank you dearest Nidal, we will never forget this day. Your Timo & Orazio

The “Bootshaus” restaurant in the Maaraue is really nice, the food is great, really friendly, warm service! The only thing to complain about is the "boss": if smoking in front of the door bothers him because of the ash - absolutely understanding! Only when he is already passing by could you greet the guest and make him aware that this is not welcome! Not this boss, who walks past without greeting and then sends the employee out! His tone towards his employees (you can easily hear it when there are few customers in the restaurant) is not necessarily a recommendation for him! In my opinion, a boss to forget and without courage!

A very cozy and modern restaurant with a block on the Rein and Mainz. The interior of this restaurant is cozy and you feel comfortable. It's just difficult to find. A navigation device is recommended. The restaurant is definitely recommended.

Unfortunately, we had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite the promising atmosphere and the friendly reception, our evening ended with a serious wait. After waiting over 60 minutes for our food, we politely asked the waitress if there was a problem. To our surprise, instead of an apology, we only received the brief information that we were next on the list. But instead of taking our concerns seriously, we were also told that we had supposedly been waiting for 45 minutes rather than 60 minutes. Even after this information, another 30 minutes passed without our food being served. It is understandable that there can be waiting times in a busy restaurant, but such a long delay without an appropriate apology or at least some interim information is simply unacceptable. What's even more unfortunate is that the evening we had planned so beautifully was ruined by this poor service. Tensions at the table rose, arguments broke out, and the birthday we wanted to celebrate couldn't be celebrated the way we wanted. When the food finally arrived, it looked very appealing and we hope that it tastes good. However, the appealing appearance and great taste of the food cannot make up for the disappointing service. The quality of service should be urgently reconsidered so that guests do not feel forgotten or ignored. Unfortunately, we will not recommend this restaurant and will not visit it again.

It was my first time here, great service, fantastic beer burger, I ate the summer burger, unfortunately I had to wait 1 hour, but thanks to the very good service staff they offered me an espresso, and we will communicate this differently in the future

I spontaneously went to the boathouse with my parents I liked the service, the food, the location, everything was perfect The prices are okay Right on the water, the waitress does her job right and the chef hits the spot You can really be more than satisfied with that

Great address. Inconspicuous from the outside. The food was great, the service was great and the atmosphere was great too. Stylish interior, therefore great ambience.

We celebrated our civil wedding there - the food and location were great! However, the owner is really special... he stressed us out on site, saying we were late, had too many flowers for the table, etc. And all of this in a tone that really sets the mood for a new bride right after the wedding can spoil. Because in the end it wasn't a problem and it worked out great... he also treated his employees in an impossible way at the table in front of the guests, giving them a hard time. It's really a shame because the restaurant, the ambience, the view and the food are really great. But this aspect left a negative touch on the whole visit for me.

A real prime example “Ugh” from the outside and “WOW!!” from the inside. The ambience inside is really great. It is very bright with a great panoramic view of the Rhine. And the food is just as good. The service is good and there is still room for improvement. I have held business lunches and small birthday parties here and the feedback has always been very positive. In summer you can also sit outside, which is even more impressive because of the panorama described above. I like being in the Boothaus am Rhein and recommend that everyone stop by to get their own impression

The salad was a disaster, which is what we also complained about. The wine 🍷 was very good 👍. But the male waitress was unreasonable, especially when I was told that I could pick the salad myself. That wouldn't have made the salad any better, because it was very sour and didn't taste like anything other than sour. I don't know if we'll go there again after these comments from the waiter.

I was here to celebrate with my colleagues. Despite the cold weather, the atmosphere was exceptional thanks to the helpful staff who were at our disposal for any request or idea. The food was specially prepared for us and I would praise both the quantity and quality.

High-quality, modern furnishings with attention to detail, the food was of great quality throughout, there was nothing to complain about and the service was quick and very nice. Thank you for the lovely evening, we felt very comfortable and would love to come back! PS: Families with strollers shouldn't be put off by the stairs at the entrance. There is a somewhat hidden elevator - just ask the service team, they will be happy to help.

Der Service war sehr freundlich und man sitzt toll am Rhein.Vom Essen war wir nach den guten Bewertungen vor uns etwas enttäuscht. Das Jägerschnitzel war aus der Friteuse und die Sauce total versalzen genau wie Pommes.Die Schweinelendchen mit Kürbispürree und Pflaumen eher zu laff..schade

Wir haben im Bootshaus am Rhein unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und es war absolut fantastisch. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das engagierte Team rund um Nidal, das den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht hat. Angefangen bei der hervorragenden und immer schnellen Kommunikation mit Nidal im Voraus zur Veranstaltung, im Zuge dessen wir bereits einige schöne Stunden im Bootshaus verbracht haben, bis hin zu einem mehr als gelungenen Abend hätte es nicht besser sein können. Dies haben uns auch unsere Gäste widergespiegelt, alle waren vom Bootshaus begeistert. Die Kombination aus exzellentem Service, sympathischen Team und hervorragendem Essen macht das Bootshaus am Rhein zu einer Top-Location. Wir können es wärmstens empfehlen und freuen uns schon auf unsere nächsten Besuche.

We waren hier op doorreis op de naast gelegen camping maar dit restaurant overtreft een hoop!!!! Uitstraling 100% het is ruim en sfeervol. De bediening is goed en snel! en het eten was geweldig! De vis zuiver en vers en de salade was heerlijk. Een echte aanrader!!! (Klein zeur puntje de super aardige serveerster had de hele avond kauwgom in)

Zum ersten Mal waren wir im Bootshaus ......und ganz bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal. Auch wenn wir leider wetterbedingt nicht draußen sitzen konnten und die Geräuschkulisse innen recht hoch war, so war es dennoch ein sehr gelungener Abend. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, die gebratene Forelle und der Gulascheintopf ein Traum,die Servicekräfte sehr freundlich und unglaublich flink.....ein besonderes Dankeschön an Cheyenne. Wir haben uns in dem schönen BOOTSHAUS sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Unsere Hochzeit im Bootshaus an der Maaraue war grandios! Das fanden nicht nur wir, die geheiratet haben, sondern wir erhielten durchweg überaus positive Rückmeldungen unserer Gäste über Essen, Getränke und dieses herrliche Ambiente. An Pfingsten diesen Jahres feierten wir die Hochzeit und die vorherigen Absprachen verliefen reibungslos und planmäßig. Man ist sogar auf unsere Essenswünsche und Veränderungen an manchen Gerichten eingegangen. Die Speisen waren von exzellenter Qualität und waren ansprechend angerichtet. Top! Natürlich war das Wetter ein weiterer Pluspunkt, welches laut Nidal extra so von ihm für uns bestellt war! ;-) Die Wiese nebenan war perfekt für unsere freie Trauung. Das Personal war flott und immer freundlich. Die Aussicht vom Balkon auf Mainz und den Rhein ist traumhaft. Wir empfehlen diese außergewöhnliche Location! Anna und Caro

Erster Besuch: Der Salat war gut, aber das Brot dazu war steinhart und nicht frisch. Musste ich zurückgehen lassen. Zweiter Besuch: Die Salatsauce war sehr salzig und die Käsespätzle irgendwie trocken, wenn auch geschmacklich gut.

Sehr schön und lecker. Tolle Aussicht auf Mainz. Sehr kinder- und hundefreundlich. Leider keine Klimaanlage, aber ein paar Deckenventilatoren.

Eine tolle und außergewöhnliche Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Und ein freundliches und aufmerksames Personal . Wir kommen sicher öfters wieder und essen uns nach und nach durch die Speisekarte……😊

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe dort. Es hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis gut, sowohl bei den Speisen als auch bei den Getränken. Die Servicekräfte sind sehr freundlich und flott. Nicht nur wegen des Rheinblicks ist das Bootshaus einen Besuch wert.

Umgebung ist sehr schön mit Blick auf Rhein und Mainz. Das Essen war sehr gut und die Einrichtung sehr gemütlich ,modern . Nur beim Service muss man noch dazu lernen wenn man Geld verdienen möchte . Man saß lange vor leeren Gläsern und auch nicht direkt animiert zum Dessert oder Kaffee . Gut für unser Portmonai .

Rezension verfasst aufgrund eines Besuchs im Sommer 2022: Das Essen ist umfangreich. Die. Qualität ist gut. Eventuell etwas zu viel Salz. Gerade kleinere Kinder vertragen es nicht so gut und haben danach immensen Durst. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich und zackig. Extra wünsche werden erfüllt. Barrierefreier Aufzug vorhanden. HINWEIS: Aufzug muss vom. Personal per Schlüssel angeschaltet und händisch runter und hoch gefahren werden. Kleine Ausenterrasse im. 1.OG. Restaurant befindet sich im 1.OG. Toiletten sind sauber und modern. Es gibt Kinderstühle. Klimatisiert im. Sommer. Zu empfehlen.

Wir waren zu 5. hier habe von jedem Teller probiert und war durchweg begeistert, das waren wir alle. Sehr sehr gutes Essen zu mehr als fairen Preise. Das Ambiente mit dem unschlagbar schönen Blick auf Mainz ist natürlich noch die Kirche auf der Torte :) absolut verdiente 5 Sterne.

Eigentlich hatten wir nur "einen schnellen Hunger"... Am Campingplatz nebenan angekommen, müde und hungrig. Am Ende sind wir jeden Abend unseres Aufenthaltes dort gewesen, haben uns auf den Besuch im Bootshaus gefreut. Das Essen ist großartig, die Bedienung ausgesprochen freundlich und das Ambiente ist wunderschön. Wir haben auch an einem Abend etwas länger warten müssen.... Aber wir ziehen den Hut vor dem so freundlichen und engagierten Personal. Mehr als arbeiten geht eben nicht. Das ist aus meiner Sicht jammern auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Wow, wir sind auf dem Campingplatz Maaraue angekommen und wollten schnell mal was essen gehen. Nebenan war das Bootshaus am Rhein, also dorthin. Die nächsten 4 Abende gab's für uns keine andere Alternative. Tolles Ambiente, sehr aufmerksames Personal, trotz geringer Besetzung, wie leider zur Zeit überall. Da muss man halt ein wenig Geduld mitbringen. Der Knaller ist allerdings der Koch, der hat jeden einzelnen Stern verdient. Weiter so und vielen Dank nochmal, wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
