The portions are extremely generous, but the prices are extremely high. For example, with the sausage salad there is a tiny piece of bread, probably from the day before.

When the weather is great, being able to sit right at the top by the water is a bit like being on holiday 😊. Anyone who complains about the prices shouldn't be in this area anyway. We didn't find it overly expensive. 2 cold drinks and a cappuccino €11.50. Self-service in the beer garden wasn't a problem for us and it's often done that way elsewhere too. If I don't want that, I'll go somewhere else. By the way, it's clearly written at the entrance about self-service. The staff was friendly and we would love to come back here to this beautiful beer garden. The fact that there is no card payment is actually no longer up to date, but it is also the only point of criticism.

Actually a very nice place. The snack bar in the beer garden is outrageously expensive and the service is terribly unfriendly and inflexible. We don't come here anymore and can't recommend it at all...it's a shame...

Everything was perfect, just very, very annoying, we had a wheelchair user with us, but we still got him down, then found out that the city's wheelchair elevator had been broken for 4 years. The portions are more than filling and it tastes incredibly good. The friendliness of the staff is also very positive! Conclusion: we will always be happy to stop by there and recommend the restaurant 110%.

I can only agree with the rest. As a guest you will be approached. GASTwirt is guaranteed to be different. Prices astronomical for self-service. Quality underground. Only cash payment possible. Hmmm, maybe the tax office should come by.

The location is the plus point. The person at the checkout was not very friendly and was unable/unwilling to provide any information regarding the inquiry as to why card payment was not possible. Drink prices unreasonably high. Food portions are small and the quality is very average. No welcoming atmosphere.

We came to this beer garden because of the great location. The view is really very beautiful, but the rest is rather mediocre. Anyone who serves a “half” 0.4L and charges €0.50 for a sachet of ketchup actually says everything about their attitude to hospitality. In my opinion, anyone who thinks that they are serving people from above really has no right to exist in the catering industry. My tip: don't be dazzled by the location.

The star is given for the really beautiful location with a fabulous view of the Neckar. Unfortunately, this restaurant is an absolute desert of service and therefore not recommended. Apparently no friendliness can be expected from the staff or the innkeeper - the treatment of guests ranges from rude to blatantly impudent. My husband and I will give this place a wide berth in the future.

The boathouse in Stuttgart Remseck is part of a project to better integrate the Neckar into the city. At this point the concept worked really well. The boathouse is a mega-beautiful beer garden that is cut like a ship's hull and comes together at one point. You can sit very close and very comfortably by the water and watch both the large ships and the canoes/SUPs sailing across the Neckar. Really great place here that brings the people of Stuttgart closer to the lack of water! Best enjoyed with a cold beer!

We were there with 15 people. First we were served completely stale beer and then the boss was extremely pissed because a) only 10 of the 15 guests wanted something to eat and b) a few politely asked if they could get a carbonated beer. Ich habe ein Glas Mineralwasser Sprudel bestellt. Aus 3!!! Flaschen wurden in meine Bestellung alte abgestandene Wasserreste gekippt. Mit diesen Resten hat die Bedienung mein Glas voll gekriegt. Ich habe höflich drum gebeten mir ein Glas Wasser mit dem normalen Sprudel zu geben und nicht aus abgestandenen Resten. Darauf hat die Bedienung frech geantwortet, entweder zahle ich das oder lasse es sein. Was anderes gibt es nicht. NO GO! Eckliges Getränk und absolut respektloses freches Verhalten.

Wir haben Freundlichkeit der Servicekraft vermisst. Auch wurden keine Serviceregeln eingehalten. Essen superteuer und qualitativ eher Biergartenniveau. Zudem eher kl. Portionen. Beilagensalat knapp 8€. Vorspeisen ca 15€. Bei Hauptgerichten kaum was unter 20€ und natürlich ohne Salat. Location im Sommer top. Innen lautes Radio und viel "Geklimper" durch den Service. Insgesamt würden wir im Sommer auf ein Bier wieder kommen, zum Essen nicht.

Am Freitag mit viel Wartezeit verbunden, gute Ambiente, gerne kommen wir mit Freunden wieder

Die Lage des Biergartens auf drei Ebenen ist unvergleichlich, aber das Essen ist abgrundtief schlecht. Wer hätte geahnt, dass Maultaschen so fad schmecken können. Dass die Stuttgarter Zeitung das Lokal über den grünen Klee lob ("Zu essen gibt es griechische, schwäbische und bayrische Leckerein"), besagt nichts über das Bootshaus, aber viel über die Verkommenheit der StZ-Journalisten.

Schönes Plätzchen am Zusammenfluss von Neckar und Rems. Ich war hier als Zwischenstopp auf meiner Motorradtour. Ein Cappuccino, ein Stück Kuchen und eine Portion Sahne (alles sehr lecker) für 8,90€ ist in der heutigen Zeit ok. Motorräder finden neben der Brücke über die Rems kostenlose Parkplätze. Mir hat es gut gefallen und komme gerne mal wieder. Dann auch gerne zum Essen.

Meine Freundin und ich sind mit dem Rad an der Remsmündung in den Neckar vorbeigekommen und haben die Uferterrasse des Bootshauses gesehen. Wir beschlossen uns da hin zu setzen und einen Cappuccino zu trinken. Wir sind dann ziemlich rüde von der Terrasse vertrieben worden, sie sei geschlossen. Wir saßen dann oben, direkt neben dem Radweg in der Sonne. Der Cappuccino war mäßig - dafür teuer als beim Edel-Italiener in Stuttgart Mitte. Not amused.

Leider war das Essen ungenießbar. Die Getränke waren dazu warm. Schade um das Geld. Das hätte ich lieber in den Neckar schmeißen sollen.

Gyros lecker, preislich allerdings auch nicht ohne.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im Bootshaus gefeiert und sind bis heute noch hin und weg von diesem wundervollen Tag! Bereits die Planung verlief absolut reibungslos, professionell und zuvorkommend und die Feier hat schließlich all unsere Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt. Vom Sektempfang über das 3-Gänge-Menü bis hin zu Kaffee und Kuchen war alles perfekt geplant und wurde ganz nach unseren Wünschen umgesetzt und so konnten wir den Tag in vollen Zügen genießen. Auch unsere Gäste waren von der Location, der Atmosphäre, dem herausragenden Service etc. begeistert und haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir werden diesen Tag nie vergessen und danken dem gesamten Bootshaus-Team dafür, einen ganz großen Teil dazu beigetragen zu haben :)

Lage toll. Ambiente schön. Personal freundlich und nett. Allerdings passt meiner Ansicht nach das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis nicht. Essenportionen schon sehr klein geschmacklich zwar ok aber bei diesem Preis könnte man mehr erwarten. Getränke ebenso (Apfelschorle 0,33 aus der Flasche 4€ und Weizenbier 5€) ist meiner Ansicht nach schon frech. Werden, sollten wir beim nächsten Mal wieder mit dem Rad in der Ecke sein, im Boothaus Neckarrems wohl nicht mehr einkehren obwohl die Lage echt toll ist. Aber diese, den Preis für die angebotenen Speisen und Getränke nicht rechtfertigt. Sorry🤷🏼‍♂️

Biergarten exactament sobre la desembocadura del Rems al Neckar. Té bones vistes al riu, sempre corre l'aire, i fins ara mai he tingut problemes per a trobar lloc. El menjar ni és res especial, però està bò. Jo recomanaria el Gyros amb patates fregides.

Traumhaft die Lage und Ausstattung. Gastronom ist Grieche und Musik läuft dezent im Hintergrund. Preise allerdings sehr weit oben und leider keine Kartenzahlung möglich. Ansonsten Topp-Empfehlung in der Region. Immer wieder gerne..👍🍻🚲🌞

Tolles Feeling, bei einem Getränk da zu sitzen!

Wir waren heute endlich in diesem sehr schön gelegenen Biergarten in Remseck, nachdem wir schon mehrere Male mit den Rädern vorbeigefahren sind. Bei diesem einen Besuch wird es leider bleiben. Essen und Getränke total überteuert. Mein Stück Kuchen zu 4,20€ war nicht wirklich wie angepriesen nach Omas Art, sondern kam direkt aus der TK-Packung. Innen war er noch recht kalt. Der Cappuccino hätte mit 3,50€ auch eine größere Tasse vertragen. Schade, so gewinnt man keine neuen Gäste.

Wir waren am Sonntag um 18:30 mit Freunden dort verabredet und wollten um 18:45 Essen im Biergarten bestellen. Gyros war ausverkauft und Burger wollten sie nicht zubereiten, da um 20:00 Uhr geschlossen wird. Notgedrungen Wurstsalat bestellt - Portion war sehr klein und hat unseren Geschmack nicht getroffen. Schade…

Sauberer Biergarten mit guter Aussicht. Tolle location und nettes Personal. Gutes Essen und gute Portionen. Das Gyros schmeckt gut aber ein wenig mehr hätte es schon sein können. Leckeres Dessert (Apfelstrudel mit Vanillesauce). Getränke waren gut Temperiert. Komme sicher wieder.

Biergarten mit super Lage am Zusammenfluss von Neckar und Rems. Von den meisten Plätzen lässt sich gut aufs Wasser schauen. Preise sind für einen Biergarten eher hoch.

Heute sind wir spontan im Bootshaus eingekehrt, da wir gehört haben, dass man hier bei schöner Aussicht lecker essen kann. Davon wollten wir uns selbst überzeugen. Leider kann ich nur 3 Sterne vergeben. 1 für die Aussicht 1 für das freundliche Personal (an dem Tag) 1 für das hübsch angerichtete Essen. Punktabzug gibt es für: Die Portionen sind viel zu klein für den Preis oder die Preise zu hoch. Wir hatten den Gyros Teller, welche total versalzen war. Sowohl Fleisch als auch Pommes. Getränke auch viel zu teuer Und schade ist, dass man nicht mit EC Karte oder Kreditkarte zahlen kann. Ich werde eventuell noch mal wieder kommen und ein anderes Gericht testen.
