A very nice and small burger joint. There are five tables inside, two of which are designed for two people. Reservations are recommended on cold days. We spontaneously stopped by Bono for lunch to try the burgers. The food was really great and the service very friendly. I also want to give the food a positive rating: a burger including a side and a drink costs around €18-20, depending on your choice. We'd be happy to come back and would happily recommend a visit to Bono.

The food is delicious and feels very natural. The portions are super-sized, and the atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxed. They have excellent service and are very attentive. As a bonus, they also have gluten-free options; you just have to let them know if you'd like a different type of bread. Overall, it's highly recommended if you're nearby (it's too close to Beethoven's house).

They have gluten-free burger patties, which is a huge plus 🙌 but I can't really recommend them in terms of taste...

Overall, it's okay, good for a lunch in Bonn. Reading other experiences, we also deduce that we encountered the unwelcoming brunette waitress. While we didn't feel welcomed or wanted, the service wasn't rude or particularly poor, just distant and monosyllabic. There was no bathroom, however. Strange, in a place with more than 10 tables inside and outside. They could at least provide wet wipes for hand washing. The burgers were good, the avocado one more interesting than the smashed ones. The sweet potato fries were very good. I'd eat there again, but it just didn't resonate with me.

Overall, a good burger. The patty was rather average, but the rest of the ingredients were pretty good. They have a somewhat more creative selection of burgers here than at many other places.

Spectacular food, perfect service, super cool place, the only thing was that they charged us €7.9 for a bottle of water 😳😳😳 but it's the line we've followed in the restaurants we've been to in Germany.

Photos with food look so nice, right? I thought the same, but after eating here my stomach feels really bad. The taste? Just a regular burger, nothing special, and unsalted fries. We ordered: Naturschönheit (no taste at all – the veggies tasted like shop-bought ones in winter), Smashed Burger (a bit better, but still not even at McDonald’s level), regular fries and fries with avocado (or guacamole?) and tomatoes (no tomato taste at all). Honestly, I was disappointed that we didn’t just go to McDonald’s – it would have been much better than this place. But the worst part came the next day – my husband and I both had stomach problems. And we didn’t eat anything else after this place 🤡 So I totally do NOT recommend it. Honestly, it’s better to just stay away from here.

The food was okay, but it took a long time to arrive. The waiter was very nice, but the toilet had been broken for months. There are better burger joints in Bonn.

The reality didn't match the photos at all. We went there with friends, and the waitress (a dark-haired waitress) was extremely rude! She constantly gave us sarcastic looks and treated us very poorly. There was no restroom, so we had to wash our hands at the bar 😂. The burgers were served cold. Absolutely not recommended!

A small restaurant in Bonn's pedestrian zone with delicious bowls (vegetarian options are also available). The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. You can sit inside or outside. Unfortunately, the restrooms are currently out of order.

A standard burger with a modest amount of seasoning. Not a disaster, but completely random. Prices are at the limit for the quality delivered. Nice team, but that's not enough.

The food was delicious, but we were told after ordering that they were out of meat for the burgers and that we could have ours with chicken or vegetarian falafel. The chicken option (breaded and cooked crispy) wasn't bad at all. Unfortunately, the side dishes didn't come with the burgers, so they became a second course. With a little better organization, this could become a real insider tip.

It's one of Bonn's best restaurants. The food is of excellent quality and the service is outstanding. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The location is beautifully quiet with a relaxed atmosphere. You can also sit outside and relax and end the evening with good food.

My visit to Bono Bonn was really disappointing. After 30 minutes of waiting and politely asking when our order would arrive, there was only a cheeky and impudent answer from the service staff. It wasn't until about 10 minutes later that the burger finally arrived. The store wasn't even full, but the team still seemed completely overwhelmed. It's a shame, I was hoping for a lot more. P.s. The burger didn't taste bad

Unfriendly service no more toileys

We ordered a burger - unfortunately the patty was quite dry and the taste of the burger was completely masked by the sweet jam. As a side dish we had grilled cheese - there were only three small pieces and hardly any greens. The service was very slow, we had to wait a long time even though it wasn't busy. In addition, the toilet was out of order, which is very unpleasant when visiting a restaurant. Unfortunately no recommendation.

Food is ok. Taste good, but not outstanding. Some side dishes were not available and the service was a bit unambitious. The portion size of the bowls is modest. Burger was definitely, really good meat, but unfortunately fried for too long and therefore a bit too dry. Food prices not reasonable! Drinks mainly sweets, no alcohol. Also relatively expensive. A beer with the burger would be nice... Tried it, it was ok, but we won't do it again. The selection of burger restaurants and bowls in Bonn is too large for that. There really are better ones! At least it's nice to sit outside on Friedrichstrasse.

The service seemed a bit overwhelmed but still very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately the toilet was broken (?) that doesn't work at all. The food was cold and unfortunately very bland. The falafel and the couscous were good in themselves, but as I said, seasoned far too little, at least for my taste. All in all, it wasn't inedible or anything, but I still wouldn't come back. too bad! Unfortunately, it's probably an insta thing that looks better in photos than it tastes 😅

Food was very tasty, 2x burgers with fries. Service was great, we had 2 dogs with us and were given water straight away. Unfortunately there wasn't much seating, but we were lucky. I would always go there again when I visit Bonn.

Modern Mediterranean cuisine, burgers that are impressive in Europe. Homemade fries from potatoes, fried several times. The chef is really busy. They make an effort here. The food is so wholesome, we had ages ranging from 4 to 79 at the table, everyone was thrilled. Small, so don't come late for lunch so there's still a place.

Super nice, clean restaurant, cozy atmosphere and very tasty food. The service is attentive and very polite and friendly. Highly recommended: smashed burgers, Madame Fontaine and the classic fries with the spicy chili mayo simply fantastic. There is also a decent selection for vegans. All in all, highly recommended.

Very small burger shop with its own charm. The meat is well done, not medium. The taste wasn't really my thing.

The burgers were incredibly tasty! Juicy patty, delicious sauce and the buns were in a class of their own! Happy to come back! The vegan alternative was a falafel patty which was also very tasty.

On our weekend trip to Bonn we decided to eat at bono and were thrilled!! Bono offers an incredibly good selection with something for everyone. We particularly enjoyed the bowl with falafel and the aloha burger. The homemade chili mayo was our personal highlight. Thanks to the heaters you could still sit outside. The whole atmosphere was very harmonious and cozy. We'll definitely be back!!!

After a not so nice first experience, we gave the restaurant another chance yesterday and were really very positively surprised! The staff was extremely friendly, the food tasted delicious and the portions were large. 😊 We'd love to come back!

The food is okay, but I got the wrong drink and the store doesn't have a toilet(!). Apparently because of a burst pipe, one toilet has been broken for weeks! That's a no-go

9/18/24: An hour wait for the drinks, burgers and fries arrived shortly afterwards, both were already cold. These have probably already been on the counter for at least 15 minutes. It's a shame, it used to be nice here. Price/performance a complete disaster.

The food was absolutely top! Both burgers, bowls, fries and wedges were top notch - we were very excited! Super tasty. However, the shop is quite manageable and yet a 'without onions' requirement was not fulfilled and the Aperol or wine with the meal was missing - the restaurant is completely alcohol-free!

The food was delicious and the portions very very big. No extra oils ect. Just a balanced meal with protein, carbs, fiber, healthy fats and so tasty. The price was a bit hight , for the bowl 14€ but I also payed 3€ for the water and 1€ for the bowl to take away the rest of food. The service not so good It's a pity for so good food..

The staff was very friendly and the food was ready quickly. The burger was totally juicy - both the bread and the meat - and was very convincing. The sweet potato fries and potato wedges including sauces were also very tasty.

I wanted to give 4 stars because their toilet was out of order but it was so good that I just had to give 5 stars.

It was simply very tasty and prepared very well. Even though it was very busy, our food came very quickly. I can highly recommend it and would love to visit again and again.

If it wasn't for the nice service, I would have given even fewer points. For a simple hamburger with some cucumber, cheese, mustard and ketchup, without any decoration or side dishes, 12.50 euros is a disgrace. It was tasty, but that's not how it works

A lovely spot! I didn't know how to read German so "rolled the dice";and the bowl I ordered ended up coming with sweet potato fries; they were delicious in it! It was nice to have something fresh and healthy but in the direction of poutine.

We spontaneously went to this restaurant to eat something because of the good reviews. When we arrived about an hour before closing time, the waitress pointed out to us somewhat rudely that the toilets were broken and that they would close in about 40-45 minutes, but that we could still order something. So we decided to only order something small. The hot chilli burger was soggy, extremely greasy and simply not good in terms of craftsmanship - not to mention the “Caesar salad”. Soft lettuce leaves and a dressing that tastes like a ready-made yogurt dressing! And at the price of €14, it really just feels like a rip-off. Maybe we just had a bad time/day - I hope so, as the shop itself is very modern and beautifully located.

I like to stop here for a burger ☺️

I'm not that impressed with the taste, bowls are better eaten elsewhere. The salad we ordered was very fresh and tasty. I ordered another topping with an additional charge for the salad and received a single microscopic slice of goat cheese. This can be done better. Service OK.

I ordered the meat skewers salad, but when I ate the vegetables, I couldn’t chew them, and then they tasted like plastic. When I spit them out, they turned out to be rubber bands... It’s a bit exaggerated...

Unfortunately I wasn't quite as satisfied this time. The chicken on my punch bowl was definitely over-seasoned if not over-salted. This was much better in the past. The service was very friendly, but the cook (boss?) attacked me so much that it made me uncomfortable. The toilet situation is also unpleasant. You have to go through a dingy stairwell to the toilet on the first floor. The men's toilet was apparently completely broken, and the handle in the women's toilet was missing. I would just about forgive that if the food was very good. But unfortunately that wasn't the case compared to last year. What a shame!

We had made a reservation at the restaurant by phone and had already inquired about gluten-free burger bread over the phone. When we were there in the evening, we were warmly welcomed and asked again before ordering. When we had drinks at the table, I was informed that unfortunately there was no gluten-free bread available today. We still had to pay for the drinks and then left disappointed...

I was there on a Saturday. The restaurant was two-thirds full. It took forever to get a card and I had to wait half an hour for a burger and fries. The food was absolutely average. I was also called by the waitress. It could be company philosophy, but I found it strange. Nevertheless, the ladies tried to make the customers happy. The toilets are hidden inside, but the men's toilet was broken. All in all, I was dazzled by the very good recessions. It was my last visit for me. There are by far better burger places.

Very bad experience. I went there with my wife and 2 kids. Food was average, and the service was terrible. We order salad and a burger, and we get it after an hour. I understand that the restaurant was kind of busy, but some other client who came 20 minutes after us and order burgers he get it 10 minutes before us. I ask they waitress why they are doing that and she was arguing me that she is not cooking and for that i have to speak with the cook. After that they asks us 3 times to give us free drinks for that and after we refuse 2 times, the 3rd time we ask for a coffee and water and a coke. The waiter came back with a coffee and said the manager didn’t approve the other drink, because we asked too much. The toilets were not working. I definitely not recomand this place

Muy mala experiencia. La comida era promedio, y el servicio era terrible. Pedimos una ensalada y una hamburguesa, y la conseguimos después de una hora. Entiendo que el restaurante estaba un poco ocupado, pero algún otro cliente que vino 20 minutos después de nosotros y pedir hamburguesas lo consiguió 10 minutos antes que nosotros. Cuando pregunto por qué hicieron eso la camarera me estaba discutiendo y dijo que no está cocinando. Después de eso nos piden 3 veces que nos den bebidas gratis para eso y después nos negamos 2 veces, la 3a vez pedimos un café y agua. El camarero volvió con un café y dijo que el gerente no aprobaba la otra bebida, porque pedimos demasiado. Los baños no funcionaban. Definitivamente no recomiendo este lugar.

I just visited the Bono restaurant in Bonn. Since I was very hungry, I ordered a bowl, which unfortunately arrived with cold rice and cold mushrooms when I asked for the plate to be warmed up so I didn't have any I was told that I had to eat cold rice, okay, and again I was given a portion with completely cold rice, which tasted pretty disgusting. Thanks, never again.

The food is delicious. The atmosphere is perfect.☺
