We were greeted extremely rudely when we arrived at the restaurant. Without a word of greeting, we were simply told that we were late - in a very harsh tone. When we explained that part of our group was already there, we were also rudely replied that they were “too late too”. Overall, the reception seemed unnecessarily condescending. Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing either. The quality was hardly better than average canteen food in a medium-sized business, completely disappointing given the prices and the standards that the restaurant obviously wants to convey.

Unfortunately, the meze plate seems very stale every time and the simit pieces or the bread are always very hard and very dry. The dumplings with sheep's cheese are tasty in themselves, but unfortunately also very dry. The couscous salad is also quite dry. The yoghurt mezes are very tasty. Too bad! In itself a really great idea.

I was really looking forward to a hearty breakfast and chose a breakfast menu that included, among other things, salad, menemen and five different spreads. The selection sounded varied and promising - the combination of warm menemen and fresh spreads in particular aroused great expectations for me. My surprise was even greater when the breakfast only came with a slice of bread. No flatbread, no white bread, not even a single slice. To be honest, at first I didn't know how I was even supposed to eat the spreads - a spoonful would be technically possible, but far from what you imagine a leisurely breakfast to be. It was only when I asked that I found out that bread had to be ordered separately. In my opinion, this is incomprehensible, especially because it is a breakfast menu. Bread is simply an integral part of a dish like this - not only as a filling side dish, but also as a central element in order to really enjoy menemen and spreads. Everything tasted fine, freshly prepared and well seasoned. But the lack of bread really spoiled the entire experience. When you order a menu, you expect a complete compilation - especially with a breakfast that at first glance appears balanced and well thought out. I would like to see it made clearer in the future that bread must be ordered separately - or even better: that it is naturally included in such a menu. This would greatly improve the dining experience and avoid disappointments like mine.

I go to the Boname restaurant regularly and now I just have to write a positive review. Whether it's for dinner or a cay drink, we always find a place and the food is really good, especially the pide and mezze. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and you can have a good conversation without it being too loud. The staff is always friendly and polite, especially Khaled is always in a good mood and accommodating, he always has a smile on his face.

Location and eat well. The only thing that really bothers me is the thing about the little devices that ring when the food is ready. The problem is that every single thing you order rings and you have to run there to pick it up. First with the drink, then with the appetizer and then with the meal. You have to run back and forth so often, for example if you are in a group, you can no longer see your people because everyone is running back and forth and not just us but all the other guests too. So it's not easy. It's best to have the order picked up in a bundle. The prices here are way too high that I have to buy everything myself.

Restaurant is very large and beautifully designed. You can eat with several people or as a couple. I ordered pide this time and was very surprised at how good it tasted. Drinks selection also very large. The homemade iced tea tasted really good. Overall, a really top restaurant, definitely recommended.

Menu looked amazing. I was alone with my baby who was sleeping and mentioned I would not be able to carry the self order with the baby in one hand and the staff never had any empathy to recommend to help in placing the plate to the table after I place the order. The response was ok! Host staff attitude is a big miss and quite rude. I walked out and the staff didn’t care at all. No smile, no welcome, very poor standards for service.

The place is very close to the city center. It has lots of different seats so that you can find a place to every number of people. The atmosphere is very lovely and lively. The toilets are very clean and nice. We eat a couple of meals there. The taste was good and they are bit pricey but you pay the place with a nice atmosphere. You get a card at the entrance that you use to get all your orders there and when you get out , you pay what’s in there so don’t loose it. The ordering is different from normal restaurants. You go to the kiosks and select your meals/drinks , you put your card to the reader there and afterwards take an ordering alarm device from side of the screen , put it again the place. Your order has been taken to the kitchen and written in your card. When your order is ready , the device just vibrates and let you know where to take. Overall very nice and cosy place.

I have already been to several bona'me restaurants - including in Dortmund, Münster and Cologne Deutz - and have now also tried bona'me in Frankfurt. For me, together with Münster, it is one of the most beautiful and harmonious locations to date. The restaurant is spacious and offers plenty of space - which is necessary because it was well attended in the evening. Luckily we got there a little earlier and were able to choose a spot at our leisure. The ordering system works here like in Cologne: You receive a personal card (max. €50) which you can use to order at one of the terminals. You will then receive a beeper that signals when food or drinks are ready to be picked up. For me the system is clear, efficient and easy to understand thanks to the illustrated menu. The digital menu can be accessed using a QR code, and it's worth keeping an eye out for possible offers. (In Münster and Dortmund the system is slightly modified in terms of operation and processes.) The interior is in the typical bona'me style: modern, cozy and with loving details - you immediately feel at home. In Frankfurt, the ordering terminals are well distributed throughout the room: two in front for drinks, three on the right side for food distribution and two smaller tray-shaped ones at the back. The entire range can be ordered at all terminals - whether food or drinks. The team on site was extremely friendly, attentive and well organized. Everything we ordered was freshly prepared and – as always at bona’me – very tasty. Parking spaces are scarce in the area, but the location makes it easy to get there on foot or by public transport. We took a 20-minute walk to the restaurant and then attended a concert in the Alte Oper - for me that was the perfect evening. The culinary offerings at bona’me are varied and make it difficult to decide – in the best sense of the word. The different variations of the meze are a particularly successful introduction and invite you to try them out and share them. My absolute favorites include the Pide with their extraordinary toppings - creative, aromatic and filling - as well as the Beyti creations, which always impress with spicy meat, rolled in dough and served with yoghurt and sauce. As a sweet ending, the bona rone is highly recommended: warm nut nougat cream under a crispy dough shell - perfect for anyone who likes it chocolatey. Warning: The filling is really hot - I burn my tongue every time. But it's still worth it every time! I always enjoy coming to bona’me – and I’m always happy to discover another restaurant from this chain in a new city.

You can eat very well at bona'me in Frankfurt's business district. I would describe the successful concept as system catering with an Indian-oriental touch. You order at the counter, receive a pager asking you to pick it up and pay at the exit. The ambience is harmonious, even if there is a lot going on at lunchtime.

I paid €15 for a ready-made salad from the supermarket with three filled puff pastries!!! I gave the store a chance twice and twice it was overpriced, bad food and unhygienic!!! NO ONE uses gloves!!

Incredible experience. We love coming to dinner at Bona’me Frankfurt. Exquisite food and impressive atmosphere. Very friendly staff. We went late at night and luckily there weren't that many people. As soon as we entered, a girl, who is also at the cash register, explained the self-service system to us in English and gave us a card (which will charge what you spend and which you will then use at the exit to pay). The place is huge and with different spaces, each one with a particular charm. It has a part where drinks are prepared. The decoration is impressive, modern and industrial and at the same time cozy (which together with the music makes you feel a true oriental-Turkish experience.) At the different stands you order your food on a screen. And while you are here you see how they prepare the food. You return with a beeper to your table and wait for the light to ring to pick up your order. The portion was abundant and delicious. We appreciate that the place was recommended to us in our hotel. We had a great dinner!! When we return to Frankfurt it will be a mandatory stop for us🩶

I invited my mother and my boyfriend to this location as a thank you for their help and I deeply regret it. The main menu is simple and doesn't have much to choose from. The dishes were simply overpriced. Well, after we ordered, we noticed that the dishes were hardly seasoned and the yogurt dip was too salty. When we got home my boyfriend vomited and we got diarrhea. It's not normal for it to happen to everyone at the same time. NOT recommended!

You basically don't have to wait for your food - It gets ready pretty fast (Like a fast food restaurant). The menu is online, and there's free wifi. The menu isn't too big though.

Yesterday I ordered a “fresh” ginger tea from bona’me. When I looked at my tea later that evening, I saw that the ginger in the tea was completely moldy. At that point I had already drunk half of the tea. I informed the waiter straight away that the ginger was moldy. Instead of an apology, they claimed it was mint... There wasn't a single mint leaf in the tea... After the discussion, I kindly didn't have to pay for the tea anymore. I've been feeling sick since yesterday.

Considering that there is no service - and the pager system is not the most well thought out - the food is ultimately simply far too expensive/the portions too small. Great food. Thanks to the self-service concept, you can easily control the pace yourself. So we feasted for a comfortable 3 hours. From the delicious starters to the main menu to the great desserts and of course always the obligatory tea.

80 percent of the staff is Afghan! I'm not being racist! But the cashier is not a pro-Afghan friend! We wanted tap water for our car! We barely got the water with a fight!!! If the cashier had been a Turk or a Kurd, we would definitely not have encountered such an attitude! It has nothing to do with Kurdish or Turkish businesses! They sold the place!!!
