The food was tasty. I know Beyti to be different, but it was good. However, the prices are extremely high, and in the end, there's no server at all. It's definitely not good value for money. To be honest, I don't like the concept. I don't want to have to get up and pick up my food like I would at a fast-food joint. I drink a lot of water with my meal and had to order three times. It's just not for me, unfortunately.

Unfortunately, all the food was cold and we had to wait a long time for it to be ready. Overall, it was overpriced for the quality. The ambiance, however, is nice.

Today, my wife and I went to Iftar at bona’me in Frankfurt. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait about 15 minutes in the middle of the restaurant. The receptionist couldn't explain why we had to wait or when we could finally be seated. Instead of being honest from the start about the problems or a system outage, we were simply strung along. Had we known this, we could have found somewhere else to break our fast. After we finally sat down, it turned out that there was indeed a complete system failure. Since everything there is digital and you have to place your own order, no one could order anything or get food. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed and couldn't provide any clear information. For us—and many other guests—this meant we couldn't break our fast. After about 40 minutes, we left very disappointed, without having eaten anything. I've truly never had such an experience. Absolutely not recommended. ❌

The staff was friendly, but they get stressed when too many people unfamiliar with the terminal have questions. The food was tasty and ready for pickup quickly. A significant point deduction because the dish selected via the QR code at the table was then unavailable at the terminal. The same thing happened with the Espresso Martini. Of course, this can happen when ordering at the table too, that something is out of stock. BUT if I'm already using QR codes and a digital process, I think it's reasonable that the selection is synchronized and I don't have to scroll around the terminal like an idiot. My personal opinion, yes, a recommendation for lunch. But for me, a relaxed dinner with friends is still something else entirely.

I have to say, Bona'me in Frankfurt was my favorite place for a long time. However, last time I was there, they made me deep-fried manti even though I wanted boiled ones. They did replace them afterward, but this time the manti were unfortunately stale. That's probably why they deep-fried them, so I wouldn't notice :)) I think that's a shame – they could have just said they were out of manti. When I was leaving, they asked for my opinion. When I honestly said it was just "okay," they even gave me a hard time about it. As a Turkish person, I really loved Bona'me :))

Summary: The staff was extremely rushed and very curt when asked questions. There was no explanation or instruction on how the self-service worked. The food was mediocre, and having to get up five times to get drinks, food, and cutlery made a pleasant, relaxed evening impossible. Main courses weren't ready until 15 minutes apart. This was our first time at the restaurant, and upon arrival, a flustered-looking man showed us to a table without any further explanation. We eventually figured out that it was a self-service restaurant and no waiter came to the table. Ordering was frustrating because the system didn't work technically the first time, and when we asked, the employee simply said we needed a pager and then left immediately. We also had to get our own cutlery, and since there were no forks or knives, I had to inform a staff member and wait five minutes for my cutlery! ... The food didn't arrive at the same time, but 15 minutes apart, and by then I'd already finished eating, so my mother ate after me. Generally, all the running around—1. placing the order, 2. getting cutlery, 3. getting drinks, 4. getting the first main course, and 5. getting the second—was really annoying and made sitting together and having a conversation impossible. The food was okay, but not worth all the hassle. When I go out to eat, I don't want to feel like a waitress and have to do every single step myself. It's a system like Vapiano, only much more hectic. I won't be back.

Disastrous. You first have to go to some woman at reception to get a card. You also walk right past reception because, cleverly, it's not at the entrance. Then you try to order at the terminal and it doesn't work because you don't have a card. Then you go to reception and nobody's there. Then you have to pick up your food yourself at exorbitant prices, with no service. Then your pager beeps three different times because you ordered three different dishes, and each time you have to get up and go to the counter. Nobody there has the slightest clue what they're doing; I suspect they're just untrained, part-time workers. Do yourself a favor and don't go there. You really don't need to go there.

Excellent food with many choices, including vegetarian. The staff was completely unavailable. The menu was mainly in Turkish and German, no English. The ingredients weren't listed in detail, making it difficult to choose the right dish. AMEX was refused, which is a shame for such an establishment.

Dear bona'me Team, after what feels like my 100th visit, I'm unfortunately forced to vent my frustration, hoping that you'll hear from me and other frustrated customers. I've already mentioned this to a member of staff. I would still like to commend the friendliness of the staff at the serving stations and the cash register. Furthermore, the location is simply fantastic. You can linger there for a long time without feeling pressured to leave once you've finished eating. Regarding the food: To begin with, the food unfortunately no longer has the quality it did when you first opened. I experienced this firsthand during my last three visits. Most recently, I ate at bona'me with friends on February 12th and 26th, 2026. On February 12th, 2026, I already noticed the reduced number of dishes on the menu. I ordered manti, which disappeared faster than you could blink. It was practically a child's size, not even enough to fill a child up. The price for the manti was equally absurd. The accompanying bread tasted like it was from the day before. On my next visit, February 26, 2026, I ordered a pide, which I had ordered several times before. I don't know what they've done to the pide dough lately, but it bore little resemblance to a traditional pide, the kind I remember from bona'me. What I received on my last visit was more like a firm, crispy crepe with a topping. The beyti (phyllo dough) with meat that my sister ordered barely resembled meat. It felt like the meat was replaced by mushrooms. What little meat there was was also sinewy and barely edible, and all for a hefty €17.50! Dear bona'me team, that's it for me/us for now. You've lost several customers due to "deceptive packaging" that doesn't live up to the price. If the food were absolutely amazing, one might overlook it. I hope your new concept doesn't backfire. Greed at the expense of quality is never a good strategy.

The food is good, but the portions are far too small and not commensurate with the price. You simply don't get enough for what you pay. In this case, they could lower the prices accordingly if the portion sizes are so small. The main course looked more like a small appetizer.

Since I'm there often for work, after about 20 visits I can say that while the food tastes good, I disproportionately often experience stomach aches and diarrhea immediately after eating at Boname. It doesn't matter which dish I order; something's just not right. The chicken is also always extremely dry; they could just leave it out. It tastes good in itself, but I'd rather avoid the stomach upset.

This was quite possibly the most disappointing restaurant experience I have ever had. Was being taken for dinner by a supplier, told we are going to a Turkish restaurant. Well, I suppose it’s Turk-ish. Kind of. You enter the place, and they give you a RFID card with no explanation for it. You then have to find a table. But they are all reserved. But we had been told on the phone that there was no need to reserve as there is plenty of space. The place is big but for some reason I can’t fathom, it’s absolutely packed. I can only guess that this is the only restaurant open in Frankfurt at 7pm on a Wednesday and that’s why everyone goes here, because they must have no other option. That’s the only way you’d get me back there. And I might actually choose to go hungry. So we find a table after moving 3 times, and we have to go to a counter. Where there’s a touch screen to order, like you get in McDonalds. Only the entire menu is in Turkish. No translations, just photos of things that do not look like the name. The Turkish colleague who was with us (who did not choose the restaurant) was baffled. Once you place your order, the RFID card comes into play. It’s some kind of payment card. Instead of just using your bank contactless card. And then it tells you to take one of those devices that buzzes when your food is ready. Only there are no devices on the bank next to this kiosk. What then followed was even more of a disaster. Food so oily that it might get invaded. And yet somehow, they managed to make the chicken on every dish as dry as the Sahara. One dish was so salty I couldn’t eat it. And then we tried a dessert. None of the options looked appealing. We went for some Toblerone thing. Which turned out to be a Toblerone wrapped in dough and then put in an oven. I’d have rather had a plain Toblerone. I genuinely do not understand how this place was so popular. It was awful. The only redemption I can give it, is that the experience was so bad it was comical. I will be telling stories about this place for years!

The best place to eat and enjoy.

As long-time regulars at Bona’Me Stuttgart, we were very excited about our visit to Bona’Me Frankfurt – and we weren't disappointed. We've always loved the concept: the open kitchen, the vibrant atmosphere, and the option to customize our dishes. While you can tell the system has changed a bit since before, thankfully the core of what makes Bona’Me special has remained. We were particularly impressed by the consistently high quality of the food and, above all, the passion of the restaurateurs and chefs. You can feel the dedication and joy they put into their work, and it's evident in every bite. Our entire visit was a complete success – so much so that we returned the very next evening. That speaks for itself. We were truly delighted with our visit and the entire experience. We highly recommend the Beyti Köfte – incredibly aromatic and perfectly prepared. The Lahmacun was also excellent, beautifully thin and flavorful, and the Kisir salad was fresh, well-balanced, and very authentic. Many thanks to the entire team in Frankfurt for this wonderful culinary experience – we will definitely be back!

A very big place with Pretty ambience. The food is delicious and huge menu to choose from. The staff is very quick and friendly. There you have to order via monitor and then pickup the order from the counters. We enjoyed our dinner a lot and definitely coming back again soon.

Anyone looking for a culinary combination of traditional Kurdish specialties and modern touches will find exactly what they're looking for here. The restaurant offers a diverse selection of dishes that are sure to impress. The ambiance also contributes to the positive overall impression: The tasteful decor with subtle oriental elements and warm, earthy tones creates a pleasant atmosphere. Combined with the attentive service, the spacious layout, and the cleanliness of the restaurant, this results in a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The only drawback is the slightly loud music, which can be a bit distracting at times.

Our go-to restaurant during our visits to Frankfurt apparently changed its recipes and the composition of its dishes about a month ago. The Turkish soup Mercimek now tastes very watery and has lost a lot of flavor. The Sucuk Beyti are now filled with carrots, which we found completely unappealing. The golden Manti were also served with a cocktail sauce made of ketchup and mayo, accompanied by a "Köfte" sausage that was neither visually appealing nor delicious. It's a real shame, but that was probably our last visit yesterday…

The best Yemeni restaurant in Germany

This wasn't my first time here, and the Turkish food is always delicious – fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is very cozy and authentic. It can get a bit noisy on weekends due to the large number of guests, which just shows how popular the place is. Overall, a great experience – I'll definitely be back!

It's a very nice place. The staff is very friendly. The pide wasn't cooked properly, and if you order a drink and it's no longer available, you can't get a different one; you have to order a new one and then cancel it at the checkout. At least, that's what the man behind the counter told me. How am I supposed to prove at the checkout that I didn't drink it?

We visited three times and were delighted by the beautiful atmosphere. We celebrated a 21st birthday there with 16 people. From the initial information and reservation with the young lady (Safae), everything was friendly and professional. On our subsequent visits, Murad always greeted us warmly and answered our questions promptly and helpfully. As far as I could tell, customers before and after us were treated just as kindly and patiently, even though the place was full. A big thank you to them!

Delicious! Type of Complaint / Product Name Premise (General): A mouse infestation was discovered. The food products manufactured, processed, and distributed at the premises were at risk of contamination. Due to significant hygiene deficiencies, including the mouse infestation, an immediate deep cleaning of all premises and equipment, as well as immediate pest control by a qualified person, was ordered. The production, processing, and distribution of food products was prohibited with immediate effect. Counter/Service Counter: The floor was contaminated, particularly in the edges and corners, as well as under and behind the equipment, including with mouse droppings. The cream whipper was also contaminated. Due to contamination of the machine's interior, the ice cubes were no longer safe and not suitable for human consumption. The handwashing sink lacked a splash guard separating it from the adjacent work area, and the liquid soap dispenser was empty. Furthermore, the maximum permissible storage temperature in the refrigerated display case was found to have been exceeded (e.g., crème brûlée +15.5 °C). Beverage storage: Several shoes were stored on top of the beverages and kegs, thus exposing the food to adverse effects. Dishwashing area: The dishwasher basket, spray head, drainpipe (siphon), ceiling fan, and the interior and exterior of the hood-type dishwasher were contaminated. The floor was heavily contaminated, particularly in the edges and corners, as well as under and behind the equipment, including with mouse droppings. Kitchen: The floor drain, grill drain, waste bin, grill controls, chopping board, and handwashing sink faucet were contaminated. Several gastronorm containers used for food storage were contaminated or encrusted. The floor was particularly dirty in the edges and corners, as well as under and behind the equipment. The floor around the pizza oven was contaminated with mouse droppings and urine. Several base cabinets were also contaminated with mouse droppings and urine, and the base of the pizza oven was heavily soiled with mouse droppings. Furthermore, unwrapped fresh eggs were stored directly in the preparation area. Food containers (containing baked goods) were stored on the floor, containers which are normally placed on work surfaces during the work process. I ate there with my family and we were all thrilled and satisfied. Ana from Brazil deserves special mention 💕 She took such good care of us and even had some toys for the kids.

The food arrived after a one-hour wait, while my colleague had already finished eating. Even after complaining, nothing happened. My colleague received his meatballs and potatoes cold to lukewarm for the second time. Given the prices (and the small portions), I would expect at least a hot meal. On top of that, there was a long queue at the checkout afterward, stretching all the way to the drinks counter, which caused further delays. All in all, the price/performance ratio is simply unacceptable, despite the self-service concept.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit to Bonamé. The food was delicious, well-seasoned, and served extremely quickly – the wait time was truly excellent. The selection is large and varied, so there's something for everyone. The kitchen also works noticeably efficiently. The restrooms deserve special mention: very clean, modern, and beautifully designed – the ambiance is consistently maintained throughout. The restaurant's atmosphere is generally very well done. Despite the high occupancy and noise level, it was easy to have a conversation at the table, which we found very pleasant. However, the reception and organization at the counter/bar were somewhat lacking. The reception seemed a bit hectic, and although many tables were free, there was unnecessary waiting. There was some chaos at the counter: many drinks were left lying around unclaimed, our drinks were missing at one point, and it seemed as if the staff weren't always sure who was responsible for what. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐ ... All in all, a very successful visit with great food, a fantastic atmosphere, and only a few minor organizational issues. We'd love to come back. 👍

I'm not a fan of self-service, which wasn't a problem for me in itself. Unfortunately, the food arrived cold, even though we had ordered three hot dishes, and we smelled so awful after eating there that we had to completely change our clothes – that's a definite no-go for me personally. If I smell like that after eating at a restaurant, I'll never go there again. The interior looks beautiful, and the chefs and staff were incredibly friendly.

Great dishes, excellent selection. What we didn't like so much was the self-service concept. As much as we enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, we won't be coming back. We're not used to this in Münster, where drinks and food are served.

Unfortunately, I had to delete my first review and write a new one. In January 2026, I'm completely disappointed by the many changes. Prices have risen significantly, while portions have become noticeably smaller. You can tell they're cutting corners everywhere – and unfortunately, the quality has also declined (value for money). The pide had hardly any cheese and was, overall, truly disappointing. The meat skewers are also tiny compared to the pictures on the menu. That's it for me and Boname for now. It's a shame – I used to come almost every week, but that's over now. Everything has just become more expensive, smaller, and worse.

We visited this place yesterday for brunch. It’s a big, airy spot with plenty of tables and a nice, modern concept. The menu is well-curated and the dishes I tried were flavorful and well-executed. The staff were friendly and attentive, which complemented the overall great vibe. Prices felt fair for the quality and portion sizes. Would happily return to explore more of the menu.

Furthermore, we had to get up and collect each plate ourselves, which became rather annoying after a while. The pasta in tomato sauce was significantly overcooked and fell apart while eating. The food itself was also disappointing (there were five of us). The pitas on the mezze platter arrived very cold, and the minced meat skewers and the meatloaf from the beyti were burnt and therefore very dry. While the restaurant's atmosphere is pleasant and inviting, it unfortunately couldn't compensate for these issues. We will not be returning.

It was our first time at your place – we entered the store – a rude guy at the entrance said hello and gave us two cards – my girlfriend and I were completely overwhelmed. She then asked what we did with the cards. He said – go to the back! And pointed us in the direction with his finger, indicating that we should go to the back! We then tried to find our way around on our own… The ambiance was very cute and the food was also delicious.

Turkish food, a bit of everything except doner kebab. Delicious. Something different. Healthy and/or vegetarian options are also available. The food arrives quite quickly. However, it takes some getting used to that all the dishes are displayed on a cluttered screen with their Turkish names and no further explanation. Self-service is sometimes only possible if someone is willing to help with the service and selection. It's a good place for larger groups to eat because of the long tables. It's not very cozy, and I wouldn't recommend it for just the two of you.

The atmosphere is really nice. There's practically no service, as everything is done via tablets. You have to go to the counter/bar to order and pick everything up yourself. You also have to get your own drinks. You're constantly on the move, since you have to collect everything individually. This makes it feel like there are 100 waiters constantly milling about. There were only a few actual "waiters," and they were hard to find. The system wasn't explained to us either. You scan a QR code for the menu. However, you can't order most of the items on the menu because they don't actually exist. This caused us major problems, as we had to look for alternatives for food and drinks several times. It all looked very nice, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing.

The menu is limited, and the terminal is extremely inconvenient. The pide, meze, and bread were tasty. The salads and main courses were not. The meat (beef) was dry and unchewable. For a self-service establishment, it's way too expensive. The cashier was very unpleasant. This was my first time here, and instead of any explanation, they just stiffly shoved my card at me. I wouldn't come back again.

Delicious food and great cocktails. The concept: Select your dish using a QR code on your phone or at one of the terminals. The menu is well-designed with pictures and descriptions. Then, select your food and drinks on the terminal, hold the payment card you received at the entrance to the terminal, and link it to a buzzer. Return to your seat, and the buzzer will indicate which item is ready for pickup at which station.

Tho place can be a solid 5 stars but there is always a small catch and usually it’s in the kitchen side. The staff are usually friendly and helpful and somehow I end up coming back every once and while. This time I tried a new dish called Borak, to my surprise I didn’t recognize the dish when I was at the counter so the cook understood it and added walnuts to the salad (he forgot to add them so the salad was only tomatoes and Concumbre) and then handed back the dish. So I let you compare the two pictures. There was two pieces, one with minced meat and no spinach and another one with only spinach and no minced meat so I thought I didn’t understand the description. Hope this will be fixed as I like the atmosphere here and would be happy to go back.

A nice restaurant chain with delicious food. Generally, it's better suited for a quick bite, as the tables aren't particularly comfortable and it's quite loud and bustling. It's a shame that everyone receives their food at different times, but that's probably unavoidable with this ordering system. Special requests couldn't be accommodated (dressing for the salad on the side). However, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and tasty.

If you complain, they tell you that there are always three pieces of chicken in it, which are supposedly weighed. Okay, fine, but the pieces are barely 4x3cm at most, if that. For that, the price of almost €16 is really steep. Furthermore, lately the tables are always full of old trays that you have to clear yourself if you want to sit there. The waiters walk right past them, even when it's not busy. The cook was kind enough to give me some extra meat the time before last, but I didn't want to ask again next time. The cooks are always very friendly and seem to at least understand the complaint.

A very nice place and the service was excellent. We were a group of over 20 people and Mr. Khaled gave us excellent advice and took great care of us. We would gladly return.

The food was surprisingly delicious, congratulations! Otherwise, we were constantly on our feet and rarely at the table... everything has to be ordered at the terminal, like at McDonald's... first order drinks and take a pager that vibrates when something's ready... barely sat down, got up again to get drinks... then the same with the appetizer and main course, as well as my second non-alcoholic beer... unfortunately, the music was very loud... luckily, I understand my daughter's sign language... 3 people - 100 euros... that was perfectly fine... The only thing that's absolutely unacceptable are the displays for ordering food... in one second, you have all the bacteria and viruses of every guest on your finger... it would be better if guests could order via Bluetooth or iPad... the concept is trendy, but only sustainable if the owner takes my suggestions seriously... I know a lot about this and mean well :-) I'll come back again in about 3 months and test it out, see you later, RK

We love it here! The food is absolutely delicious! Not to mention the waiters! Everyone is such a wonderful person, so helpful and attentive! Thanks to Murad for always being there for us!!

We met up with friends here after many years; two of them are vegetarians. Everyone found something suitable. We chatted for hours without anyone bothering us or asking if we wanted anything else – and most importantly, no one gave us disapproving looks about when we were finally going to get up and make room for the next customer. There's definitely plenty of space. I'll definitely visit again.

We loved the East-West concept. The place is quite spacious, and the interior design is beautiful. There are various seating options. For dessert, we ordered the Toblerone chocolate-filled pita, which was delicious. The portion might be a bit too large for one person, so it's ideal for sharing. The tea served in a copper teapot is both authentic and unique. We were very pleased with the prompt and attentive service. I highly recommend it.

Imagine it like this: Vapiano 2010, but Kurdish/Turkish. All in all, truly excellent! I'd come back anytime! Please keep up this level!

Unfortunately, this was not a good experience and therefore not recommended: - Some of the vegetables in the beyti were raw - The beyti was swimming in sauce - The manti were sold out - The feta dip was sold out - The meze was finished after the main course.

Unfortunately, the portions have become very small lately and the prices have increased.

We found the table dirty, and although we asked the staff to clean it, nothing happened.

Many dishes were sold out by 9 pm on Saturday evening.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't anything special. We ordered a meze platter, and we had no complaints about that. However, some of the main courses were already cold. We ordered pide with chicken, crispy chicken beyti, and one each of babuka chicken and babuka meat. Instead of chicken, we received two babuka meat dishes. Unfortunately, there was much more vegetables (mushrooms) than meat in the dishes. We thought we had ordered vegetarian. The taste wasn't great either. We found all the dishes extremely greasy and heavy, especially the crispy chicken beyti, which was so greasy it was practically dripping with oil. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the food. If we were to come back, I would only order the meze platter.

Really, really delicious, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality.

It's simply beautiful there, the food and atmosphere are fantastic. The service is friendly, and I enjoy coming back again and again.

Very tasty and fresh. All the dishes were still hot. The babunka pleasantly surprised me. I thought it would be a small portion for 9.90, but with the red rice it was more than enough. It's baked with mushrooms and cheese and then served with hot bread. Unbelievably delicious! :) I also had the cay. It was a whole pot. 5 glasses. Perfect for cold temperatures. The atmosphere is inviting and clean. You just feel at home. It's self-service, so you order from the machine. I think that's great. The prices are totally fair. Oh, that was a small side salad...but it was equivalent to a medium-sized salad. The staff are super friendly.
