I was thrilled at bona'me in Frankfurt! The oriental dishes are not only delicious but also presented with a modern twist. The pide and manti were a particular highlight. The stylish ambiance invites you to linger, but it gets very busy on Saturdays – reservations are recommended. We'd love to come back!

A really nice atmosphere, great seating, good cocktails, and good food. We had to use the ordering system for a while, but it's actually quite quick after ordering. So you can order one at a time.

We came here spontaneously for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. I ordered manti, which was served in a way I'd never tried before. It was incredibly delicious and skillfully prepared. In general, the restaurant offers a wide selection of oriental dishes that truly stand out from the rest. Every bite tastes unique, and you immediately notice the attention to detail in the kitchen. The prices may be a bit on the high side, but the quality and exceptional flavors fully justify it. If you're looking for authentic, special enjoyment, you should definitely stop by here.

Let's rename it to shabby! At first, we were happy because the juice and coffee were really good. Unfortunately, the food took forever, and then half of the items we ordered were cold. People who had ordered the same dishes long after us got their food much sooner. Extremely disorganized. Unfortunately, disappointing overall.

The lack of table service is a bit of a letdown, but it's one of the best breakfast and lunch options in Frankfurt. Everything is delicious.

I really like the ambiance of the restaurant; it's very clean inside, but the terrace was a bit unkempt (there was trash on the floor) and seemed to have been forgotten to clean. The staff is very polite and helpful. However, I was very disappointed with the appetizer plate, especially the simit left over from breakfast. The sucuk wasn't really part of the menu either. The other appetizers tasted okay, but not outstanding.

The concept and food are good. Self-service is annoying for such a concept.

Cozy, small restaurant with a few interesting dishes. The restaurant's ambiance is also very chic. One thing you should know: Food is ordered at a self-service kiosk and charged to a card, which you pay for at the end. The food isn't delivered to your table; instead, you'll be notified via a pager when it's ready. If you need help with something (in our case, for example, an extra plate for the kids), you'll be helped without any complications.

I found the food at bona me incredibly delicious, especially the appetizer platter with several different dips and other items. It's best to go with a group of people so you can share the food, as there's so much delicious food that you don't know what to choose. The food is great for sharing, with large portions and a fair price.

What a shame! Such a beautiful restaurant with completely unfriendly staff. They offer no service. The staff pays no attention whatsoever. I ordered a €16 breakfast, including an extra €2 mini simit. Everything was served in tiny portions. Not worth the money.

The receptionist was very friendly. We had to wait longer than usual for some dishes. Some dishes also didn't taste as good as expected and usual. However, criticism was accepted.

The atmosphere was calm, and the waitress, who spoke Portuguese, served us very well! My family loved the experience.

I was surprised and cannot understand the 4.1 rating. The food was really delicious, the decor was ultra modern, everything was excellent and the service was very friendly, but the upscale atmosphere is a bit different than typical. We spent our lunch break there as part of a larger group. Since you can't make reservations at lunchtime, it's advisable to arrive early if you have a large group. The restaurant is well-organized with its modern ordering system. Don't worry if you don't like these ordering systems. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was consistently delicious and freshly prepared, and the iced tea was a dream. I also really enjoyed the ambiance. It's important to remember that the location is in the heart of Frankfurt. From that perspective, I think the value for money is really good! I'd definitely go back!

Eternal waiting times, bad food

We've always enjoyed eating here, but at some point the portion sizes got smaller, but the prices stayed the same. They also tend to "forget" something when ordering small dishes, so we sometimes realized too late that we'd paid for everything even though we didn't get everything. A few times I also noticed that the soap dispensers in the restroom had been diluted with water. We won't be eating here again, which is a shame.

I was there for the first time yesterday and would eat there again today! I thought the food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and intense. The drinks we had were also good. I was very impressed with the selection of different dishes (especially vegetarian). You order with a menu or a pager. The system is easy to understand and works perfectly. However, I didn't find the staff particularly friendly when picking up the food. As I said, it was my first time there and I was a little unsure which dish was for me. Since the food is absolutely my top priority, I can recommend everyone to try their food here!

The food was very tasty, the atmosphere was great. BUT: You couldn't choose dishes from the digital menu at the terminal. Apparently, it was "sold out." However, you could choose individual ingredients (pasta and shrimp, for example) for a higher price. Two employees couldn't help us and searched for explanations. Not very customer-friendly, not offering a solution straight away.

First, there's no service, as it's self-service. At the ordering stations, you have to enter your order yourself, like at McDonald's and the like. I'll start with the food. The bulgur was cold and took a bit of getting used to. Pide was delicious. The meze was also okay. The salad and manti weren't so good. You have to go to the stations each time for the whole meal, so you have to get up several times. The prices are a bit expensive, especially when you have to get everything yourself, including cutlery. The soup was ready to pick up after the meal.

I didn't find the food anything special; perhaps it needed more seasoning.

The food coordination is poor; you have to get up and run three times for a meal for two people because the dishes are ready at different times and you have to pick up the food yourself. Turkish restaurant. The staff are respectful and serve you if you need anything. You order using a device and you receive the order. The food menu is simple and beautiful.

The ambiance is really nice, and the service is very friendly. The food was very good to okay, depending on the dish, although the meat skewer was still half raw. What really annoyed me, however, was that they claimed that all of Frankfurt had a system error, and therefore no debit or credit cards were accepted, only EC cards or cash. This wasn't communicated until the end when paying. This not only made the checkout line crowded for some, but also led to arguments and alternatives that could have been avoided with simple communication at the beginning. Additionally, I didn't experience a "system error" at any other restaurant or location that day, so the claim that this was the case throughout Frankfurt was incorrect.

I recently visited for breakfast, and it was an excellent experience in every aspect – food quality, cleanliness, and customer service. Samni, was kind and wonderful – she made us feel truly welcomed and taken care of.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance after a long walk in Frankfurt's city center – and what a stroke of luck! The restaurant is centrally located, yet quietly on a side street. Despite its size, the tasteful interior, pleasant lighting, and clever room layout make it feel very inviting and cozy. We were particularly impressed by a young man who approached us outside the restaurant – with such passion and authenticity that we spontaneously went in. He explained the concept to us: Turkish-Kurdish cuisine with modern, light interpretations and a great love of its heritage – even the grandparents of the owner's family overlook the dining room from a bookshelf. The food was excellent, the atmosphere relaxed (including pleasant background music), and the personal attention of this young man made us feel almost like we were being invited into a private setting. A fine example of how even large restaurants can offer genuine hospitality. Absolutely recommended – we'll be back!

We ordered tea and what was supposed to be a delicious fig dessert, which unfortunately tasted really sour and was almost bad. As an alternative, we were given another dessert in a tea glass with walnuts, honey, and yogurt. This was also inedible. The walnuts were moldy. I actually know Bona'me from Hamburg and was therefore convinced that it would taste the same here, but I am simply disappointed. The tea we ordered just tasted like hot water with no flavor. We asked for more tea and only then did we get the desired color and flavor. When I paid, I was asked how satisfied I was, and when I wanted to tell them about the bad food, the cashier didn't listen at all and turned his attention to other guests. The visit was truly disappointing!

Food is great but main thing is atmosphere ✨🤏🏻 Lighting is very intimate and makes the vibe much greater. Also, large choice from dining spaces, as well few tables outdoors :) only thing is self service, loosing few aura points. Cute for a date! 💕

I don't know why I should deduct points here. If anything, it's for the somewhat steep price. But you also get a great restaurant experience. Inside, there are various zones that transport you to Turkey in terms of ambiance: For a simple tea, you can sit in armchairs by a fireplace. For larger groups, there are group tables. And for couples, there are cozy tables for two. The food is very delicious, and there are unusual variations. Mante with mushroom sauce or chili cheese. You can also order as many sesame rings as you like. The service is very straightforward: You order food and drinks at an ordering terminal and take a transponder with you. When it beeps, you can pick up the food from the serving stations. Overall, an absolute recommendation because it's not just food, but a true restaurant experience.

Very nice and enough space for larger groups

The restaurant is very nice, and the terrace offers plenty of seating. The food is typically Turkish, only presented in a slightly more upscale style, but it's not a traditional kebab shop, and there's no street food. You order with a card system and then have to pick up the food yourself at the respective station. We made the mistake of ordering everything at once and were only picking up the food at first. The food was ready very quickly and some of it was cold. Tip: Order everything one after the other. Drinks first, then the rest.

I eat at bona'me again and again. The food is always delicious and fresh! The atmosphere is great and the concept is great. I'll be back! There could be a few more options for vegans, though.

I went to Bona'me several times last year and fell in love with the bulgur salad, the hummus, and the amazing bread. I was back today, and what can I say? It was disappointing! The salad was completely oily, and instead of the fluffy flatbread, there was a small half (!) of a simit. Please, urgently, make it like it used to be.

Unfortunately disappointing – not recommended It was our first time there and we were immediately overwhelmed by the ordering process on the display. There was no help or explanation of how it all worked. The food itself was disappointing: tasteless, the bread far too dry. For the high prices, we would have expected much more – especially the service. Instead, we had to get our food and drinks ourselves. Overall, it just wasn't great and not worth the money. We won't be back. They definitely need to improve!

I didn't feel very comfortable... It's located right in the middle of the high-rise buildings, right on the street. It's all a bit ungrateful. The food wasn't particularly tasty, but it was expensive.

A glorified canteen with an awkward zero service system. The decor says "fancy", everything else says "crass". The food doesn't taste bad, just cheap and boring. But what really kills it is the embarrassment of arriving tired out and planning on relaxing, then having to stand in front of a screen scrolling through a menu, then searching for your own table, then being buzzed repeatedly to traipse back to the counter to pick up each order (which is just sat there with nobody around) and finally doing the walk of shame through the entire restaurant holding your food like it's a school dinner. Judging from the flavour and overcooking it might actually be one.

The food there was truly amazing. If I'm ever in Frankfurt again, I'll definitely go back. I haven't had such a delicious meal in a long time. Since the restaurant was quite full, the noise level was quite loud, but I think a restaurant that's always full is a sign that the food there must be good.

We had a great time last week celebrating our friend's birthday at Bona'me...thanks to Safaa who made great efforts to keep the atmosphere of the celebration as perfect as possible...without her help, we couldn't have had the greatest birthday of all times, also the food was amazing and Safaa helped as well to provide some dishes' recommendations ... thanks alot for the great hospitality!!!!

We were greeted extremely rudely when we arrived at the restaurant. Without a word of greeting, we were simply told that we were late - in a very harsh tone. When we explained that part of our group was already there, we were also rudely replied that they were “too late too”. Overall, the reception seemed unnecessarily condescending. Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing either. The quality was hardly better than average canteen food in a medium-sized business, completely disappointing given the prices and the standards that the restaurant obviously wants to convey.

Unfortunately, the meze plate seems very stale every time and the simit pieces or the bread are always very hard and very dry. The dumplings with sheep's cheese are tasty in themselves, but unfortunately also very dry. The couscous salad is also quite dry. The yoghurt mezes are very tasty. Too bad! In itself a really great idea.

I was really looking forward to a hearty breakfast and chose a breakfast menu that included, among other things, salad, menemen and five different spreads. The selection sounded varied and promising - the combination of warm menemen and fresh spreads in particular aroused great expectations for me. My surprise was even greater when the breakfast only came with a slice of bread. No flatbread, no white bread, not even a single slice. To be honest, at first I didn't know how I was even supposed to eat the spreads - a spoonful would be technically possible, but far from what you imagine a leisurely breakfast to be. It was only when I asked that I found out that bread had to be ordered separately. In my opinion, this is incomprehensible, especially because it is a breakfast menu. Bread is simply an integral part of a dish like this - not only as a filling side dish, but also as a central element in order to really enjoy menemen and spreads. Everything tasted fine, freshly prepared and well seasoned. But the lack of bread really spoiled the entire experience. When you order a menu, you expect a complete compilation - especially with a breakfast that at first glance appears balanced and well thought out. I would like to see it made clearer in the future that bread must be ordered separately - or even better: that it is naturally included in such a menu. This would greatly improve the dining experience and avoid disappointments like mine.

I go to the Boname restaurant regularly and now I just have to write a positive review. Whether it's for dinner or a cay drink, we always find a place and the food is really good, especially the pide and mezze. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and you can have a good conversation without it being too loud. The staff is always friendly and polite, especially Khaled is always in a good mood and accommodating, he always has a smile on his face.

Restaurant is very large and beautifully designed. You can eat with several people or as a couple. I ordered pide this time and was very surprised at how good it tasted. Drinks selection also very large. The homemade iced tea tasted really good. Overall, a really top restaurant, definitely recommended.

Location and eat well. The only thing that really bothers me is the thing about the little devices that ring when the food is ready. The problem is that every single thing you order rings and you have to run there to pick it up. First with the drink, then with the appetizer and then with the meal. You have to run back and forth so often, for example if you are in a group, you can no longer see your people because everyone is running back and forth and not just us but all the other guests too. So it's not easy. It's best to have the order picked up in a bundle. The prices here are way too high that I have to buy everything myself.
