Once upon a time, that's how fairy tales usually begin, but here I'm not telling you a fairy tale, but a beautiful truth. The Bon Di restaurant, especially its staff, is all I can think of: friendly and gracious, service is top priority. It was a pleasure to eat here. Since I struggle with truly debilitating allergies, it's amazing that I can tolerate everything here without any problems. That can only mean that they work with good quality food here. And so, thank you, yes, these little gastronomic gems still exist.

We ate here last night. Unfortunately, I have to say that neither of us particularly enjoyed the pizzas. The crust was okay, a bit burnt in places, but the base of the pizzas wasn't crispy. It was completely soggy. The flavor could have been better, too.

Highly recommended. The food and drinks were delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive.

Great restaurant, perfect service. After waiting over an hour and a half for our food at another restaurant, we were in a bad mood and very hungry. Within five minutes, we had something to drink and ordered our food, which arrived after only about a quarter of an hour. Delicious carbonara, authentic Italian instead of a Germanized version with a cream sauce, simply perfect! All around, great service and really good food. We'll be back!

We spontaneously stopped here for an Aperol Spritz after a concert and had lunch the next day. Everything was very good, freshly prepared, and the service was friendly. We were very satisfied and would come again.

Today, I found a piece of blue plastic/rubber in the crust of my pizza and asked the waiter what it was. He came back and said it was from a spatula, but that it couldn't have been in the pizza, which is definitely where I got it from. He wanted to charge for the entire pizza, but we objected, and the pizza was removed from the bill.

Highly recommended! It's not cheap, but the food is exceptionally delicious and authentic, with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service.

Bad service, bad food, way too expensive The service was almost unbeatable in terms of incompetence, ignorance, and arrogance. Waiting times were too long (almost an hour for 2 pasta dishes). Never had such bad pasta with truffles (extremely oily and greasy). We didn't even get our food (2 pasta dishes for 2 people, ~€60!) at the same time. The quality and price are disproportionate. We didn't even get a bill; the amount was just displayed on the display. A friend of the restaurant at the next table said this never happens. However, we observed that other guests had a similar experience. Only she received preferential treatment (although she had to add a lot more seasoning to her food). Conclusion: Definitely never again.

Service is very friendly, food was delicious and everything was fresh, and the drinks are original from Italy, simply PERFECT!

Tomato soup, vitello tonato, carpaccio and pizza bread very good, friendly service, nice ambience, everything very clean.

Mangiare come dalla nonna. Simply unbelievable. We felt like we were with our Nonna (grandma) during every forkful of noodles. Back to childhood in Italy. Compliment everything was really great. Thank you for this experience in Fulda.

We really liked the atmosphere. The furnishings were modern. However, the light was a bit too bright. The sanitary facility was very clean and odor-free. The food was ok but we expected a little more… The pizza wasn't cooked properly in the middle (limp) The arugula wasn't quite as fresh anymore. The lasange was more like a soup. In terms of quantity it was appropriate. To the service We weren't really welcomed properly... When we got the food quite quickly, the pizza came first and then the lasange 5 to 10 minutes later… an absolute no go We weren't asked for another drink even though our glasses were visibly empty. We didn't ask whether it tasted good or whether everything was to our satisfaction. All in all, I can't necessarily recommend it.

We have been to Bondi several times and have been thrilled every time. The food is consistently great, especially the pasta. Absolute highlight: the lovingly prepared tiramisu. A sweet ending that simply made us happy :-) The ambience is authentic and invites you to feel good. The service is warm, attentive and rounds off the experience perfectly. We'd love to come back!

I wanted to sit down with a girl on the street and sit for 5 minutes, but we were met by an unpleasant, unkempt, stupid man with a purse on his belt and was rude. He introduced himself as the owner of this establishment, but it is unlikely that the owner would behave so impolitely!

I really enjoy going to Bondi (twice a month). The employees/boss are very warm and attentive. The atmosphere is very inviting and the food is excellent. Fresh bread is served as a starter. I can recommend Bondi to everyone in Fulda!

cozy Italian atmosphere with excellent food and top service

Time for an update: There's no breakfast anymore, but there's great food! Very nice people, nice atmosphere. Were there for breakfast. The buffet was typically Italian and very tasty. There was plenty of coffee and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Ambience very nice, value for money completely okay.

I had a vegetarian pizza which was very tasty. The service was very nice and accommodating. In the evening it is better to reserve in advance as the restaurant is very busy.

The food was okay – solid, but without any special highlights. Still, it wasn't bad by any means. What really made the visit outstanding was the head waiter: extremely professional, attentive and with an excellent feel for the guest. Definitely 5 stars for this! The rest of the staff seemed a bit inexperienced, which slightly affected the service in places. Nevertheless, overall we were well served. The ambience is pleasant and inviting, although a printed menu would be a great addition to enhance the experience and maximize the venue's potential. All in all, a solid visit with room for improvement, but thanks to the excellent head waiter we would try it again.

Only a girls' shopping day in Fulda was planned. We stopped at the restaurant for lunch. The ambience and service were so good that we not only ordered a starter, main course and dessert but also spent the rest of the day there. We had nice conversations with the guests and the staff. We met a lot of lovely, nice people and, since the kitchen is open to the public, we even learned some cooking skills. This restorante is recommended at any time, whether during the day or in the evening. Pure relaxation.

Cozy establishment, very well attended on Saturday. The staff friendly and helpful. The portions of the main courses were relatively small, especially the lasagna was very small (I had Lasagna D' Autunno), you could have eaten a starter beforehand. Accordingly, the price-performance ratio is excessive. Would probably try the pizza next time.

An absolutely fantastic experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The tagliatelle with black truffle was not only delicious, but was freshly prepared right in front of us in the cheese wheel - a real highlight! The service was first class: the team looked after us attentively and made us feel welcome at all times. The atmosphere was classy and elegant, exactly how I imagine an upscale Italian restaurant would be. I'll definitely be back!

The most terrible service I have ever had in my life. We waited 20 minutes for the bill in an almost empty restaurant. And if there had been a full place we would have waited two hours for the bill... They didn't even apologize for it. I won't write about other moments...

Catastrophic. The good first. The restaurant is nice and seemed clean but the food was not good at all. Soggy bruschetta (bruscare means roasting) - we got 2 pieces of bland tasting soggy white bread with tomatoes on it. Unfortunately, things didn't get much better in the main courses. I'm really not a good eater but it was a mini portion a la children's plate and then with pasta that wasn't even al dente and unfortunately it didn't taste good either. Maybe the chef was on vacation or sick, but things were definitely better here before. We're not coming anymore!

I ordered lasange, what came was no bigger than a slice of toast. Too much sauce and cheese, I had to look for the pasta plates. The price was too expensive for that at €13.00

Restaurant has changed ownership and since then the food has been abysmal. Not only not tasty, but disgusting.

30 minutes waiting time before we could order.

We were here today with three people. We were able to get a wonderful outdoor space when it was 31 degrees. The starters and main courses were so delicious. Whether pasta, pizza or meat - everything was on point. We'd love to come back!

The food came quickly and was good, the rest unfortunately took a long time. We've been waiting almost 20 minutes for our espressos. Advice on vegetarian dishes was very poor.

We were thrilled from starter to dessert. The main courses were perfectly seasoned and the atmosphere/staff was just right. We would definitely like to come back! PS: If you like eating mussels, this is the right place for you

We were here today with eight people and the service was very fast, friendly and always present - but by no means intrusive. We sat inside, the atmosphere was cozy and nicely decorated! The dining room was clean, as were the toilets. We had everything from pizza to pasta to pesce, every dish tasted good to very good, as a starter we had vitello tonnato - also very tasty. We had two school-age children with us, the staff interacted well with the kids, so the children didn't get bored. The restaurant is well located in the center and close to the cathedral, making it a good stop for tourists. A reservation is generally recommended. Gladly again

I really like this restaurant. The atmosphere and service are good. The food is also good. I had Penne alla Norma which were absolutely delicious. I can only recommend this restaurant. The prices are reasonable.

Cozy and centrally located Italian restaurant. The price is average and the food is fresh - personally I'm not that fond of balsamic cream, which I was fed up with for both the starter and the main course. The warm, open and very attentive staff made me feel very comfortable overall and I will definitely eat here again on my next stay in Fulda. And the second round was also great, I would have liked the meat to be a little more tender but overall a very nice experience!

The waiter is friendly and the weather is nice today, we sat at a table outside but unfortunately I didn't like the food, the lasagne was like soup 😬 The salad contained tasteless, unripe tomatoes. I was hungry and needed to eat, but without enjoyment And I didn't like the artificial flowers in small vases on the tables either, it's the end of May, fresh real flowers are better

The pizza, in my case Margherita, is delicious there. However, the service staff is unfriendly and arrogant and doesn't seem particularly motivated. On my last two visits it took quite a long time for someone to come to take the order, even though there weren't many guests there. However, instead of attending to the guests, the waiters preferred to chat extensively with each other. The unfriendliness of the staff makes you feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as a guest at Bòn dì.

I actually really liked the Bondi but the service on Saturday May 4th. was simply impossible. We weren't served. Only when I wanted to get up to get a card did he come to us and without a word slapped the card on the table. I also asked this waiter if he could be friendly, but there was no sign of insight. We then just got up and sat down to eat further down. It's a shame, but Bondi won't see us again. I won't let myself be treated like that.

We wanted traditional Italian and we got traditional Italian. Delicious pasta, great carpaccio, very good bread with oil (on the house), ice-cold Lugana, great pistachio tartufo in a full house (like all restaurants in Fulda), where they had two seats for us. Strong staff, great ambience. Absolute recommendation...even without a degestif on the house. grace

Had a delicious meal with 2 colleagues. It was pleasantly busy, the company is run by an Italian family. Pizzas and pastas were delicious, accompanied by a very nice red wine. Tiramisu for dessert. All in all we had a great evening!

Food and service was ok. The waiting time, however, was underground!!! Whatever the reason, there wasn't much going on while we were there! We waited so long for the starter that our bread and dip were empty. However, when the food arrived, it wasn't refilled! The neighboring table that arrived after us finished its warm main course before our cold starter arrived. When I asked why it took so long, there was neither an apology nor a goodie.

There is a sign on the door: We have a mobile ramp. Tried it out! It was made of aluminum and new. Exemplary! So I could have an excellent meal with my husband in this really great restaurant! Super cozy restaurant, great lighting and beautiful decor. We had a delicious carpaccio and two pizzas. The tomato sauce on the pizza could use some tweaking, but that doesn't mean it wasn't delicious! In any case, we would love to come back.

Wir haben nach einem schönen italienischem Restaurant gesund und das auch gefunden! Leider haben wir nicht reserviert und es war schwierig einen Platz zu bekommen aber der Kellner war so freundlich und hat alles möglich machen wollen das wir ein Platz bekommen. Wir haben einen Tisch bekommen mit schönem Ambiente mit einer leckeren steinofen pizza und freundlichem Personal.

Reingekommen und schon wohl gefühlt. Dieser extrem freundliche Charme des Service lässt mich ein bisschen Urlaubsflair spüren. Die Pizzen waren außergewöhnlich gut. Nicht überladen und der Teig mega. Keine langweilige gewöhliche Karte. Den Köchen kann man in der offenen Küche zusehen. Alles mega sauber. Ein Highlight war wenn die Spaghetti mit Trüffel direkt vor den Gästen im großen Parmesankäse zubereitet wurde. Der Duft hat mir gesagt.... das wird mein nächstes Essen. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen.

Das Essen war gut und lecker. Das Personal freundlich aber leider schlecht organisiert. Es wurden Vorspeisen vergessen und zu spät serviert. Der Hauptgang kam auch nur verzögert. Der letzte bekam, als der erste fast fertig war. Und das bei nur 5 Personen. Das Restaurant war gut besucht aber es kamen nicht alle gleichzeitig, somit hätte ich da mehr erwartet. Besonders wenn man sich von der Masse der italienischen Restaurant abheben möchte.
