Restaurant at the beer garden of the Bolten Brewery. In contrast to the beer garden, there are selected dishes here such as beer goulash... I can highly recommend this. I really liked the rooms. Staff was very nice. Price performance is consistent.

We were there for breakfast. I can't recommend it.

There were four of us. First of all, the positive, a very nice beer garden and a nice restaurant. Unfortunately we couldn't find a place outside as a few tables of 6 were occupied by couples. Tip other tables that can be better combined into 2/4/6 tables. The service person took our order in a friendly manner. Well it took a very long time for the food to come, over an hour. In the meantime we ordered new drinks. There was a lot going on. Despite the fact that there were many service staff, it was difficult to place repeat orders. When the food came we were visually very disappointed by the price of three dishes. The currywurst for €11, very dark frozen wedges with a grilled sausage (not from the butcher) in a ketchup-based sauce that was pimped. The Bolten Cheese Steak Sandwich for 20€, the same very dark frozen wedges with a brioche baguette about 20cm long which was dusty dry, topped with a little thinly sliced ​​beef with melted scallion cheese and jalapenos. Furthermore, the herring tip for 17€, 2 small fish fillets in cream sauce with some salad and a handful of rosemary potatoes. We asked Keller about the few side dishes and he said that was probably the rest (he had seen it) and more normally there would have been more. He then brought potatoes. The only thing that looked good was the baked pork knuckle for €20. Now about the taste, unfortunately nothing was convincing. With the knuckle, which still looked good, the mashed potatoes were cold and tasteless and the sauerkraut was also cold. The knuckle was cold on the outside and partly crispy, but already tough, and super hot on the inside, so much so that I immediately burned the roof of my mouth. For a total price of around €125, we expect more. We won't come back.

Service is unfortunately very different, from underground to trying, everything is there. The food and the desserts had their bright and dark sides: If the fries are delivered lukewarm and the roasted potatoes are half-cooked, the customer is dissatisfied. Unfortunately, the price/quality ratio for the food prices quoted is also not correct in terms of other criteria. It's a shame, agriculture actually has much more potential. The 3 star rating is almost generous.

Last Sunday my wife and I visited the outdoor farm to grab a bite to eat and drink. Everything was to our complete satisfaction, the fries tasted extremely good, the tarte flambée was great and the service was very friendly. For this reason we went back 3 days later but were totally disappointed. We had to wait over an hour for currywurst with fries. The sausage and the thin fries were barely edible (apparently the "country fries" were no longer in stock) and the service wasn't friendly either. We had the impression that we were guests in a cheap chip shop. Conclusion: I expect consistent quality of food and friendly service. I will no longer enter this restaurant.

After the brewery tour, ten of us went to the farm. I had reserved the table months in advance by email. Because I didn't get an answer for weeks, I had to confirm it again by phone. On the evening before the visit, my colleague from the brewery tour told me that no table had been reserved - we ended up getting one, but that's a bad way to start. Unfortunately, the service didn't really work well otherwise. We kept sitting in front of empty glasses for 20 or 30 minutes and no one came to even ask if there was still a need for drinks or to clear away the empty glasses. I realize that it was relatively full for a Thursday evening, but that's just a shame when you go to the restaurant and end up leaving money there and then the orders don't work. In addition, orders were taken but not delivered, but were then still on the invoice (even though this was pointed out beforehand). Of course you go to restaurants primarily to eat and drink, but without service it's all worthless. And that's a particularly shame because - and I would particularly like to emphasize this - the food was extremely good and so were the drinks. The atmosphere is great too, but as I said: without good service it's all worthless. Unfortunately, there was no response to an email preceding this review. That's a real shame, because the additional offerings that agriculture creates are fundamentally great.

Friendly service and a delicious breakfast in the beautiful beer garden

I must say I was somewhat distraught upon my arrival at Bolten due to a conflictive situation with my current telegram scammer, and I was a bit worried that I would not manage to calm my nerves before my biannual visit to Phantasialand GmbH. However, the sleek industrial decor and the absolutely delicious food did wonders for me. It’s like eating a Schweinhexe at berghain.

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience for the first time today. We ordered 2 desserts 'lemon tart with fruit compote' and 'rhubarb crumble with vanilla ice cream'. The base/dough of the lemon tart was rock hard and could hardly be divided, the cream itself didn't really taste like fresh lemon. The rhubarb crumble was a little better, but the taste just wasn't the same as before. Maybe we were just unlucky this time, but unfortunately we can't recommend these desserts. Also not good service today (very unfriendly older waiter). 3 stars because we always used to eat very well here. It's a shame that things have now developed in this direction.

We ate there with 7 colleagues. Unfortunately the service was very bad. We often sat "on dry land" for 15-30 minutes, and the plates were already cleared while colleagues were still eating (you just don't do that), when at some point a waiter next to our table called out "Who wants to pay?" It was clear , that they wanted us to leave quickly after dinner (it only happened once with us the whole evening). We felt absolutely uncomfortable and unwelcome. Value for money for the food wasn't good either, everything was a little expensive, especially with this service. We had a nice spot in the shade right in front of the restaurant, it was nice and comfortable, there is a small playground for children. All in all, we won't be eating there again!

First of all…we had friendly, nice service. The food was ok but just unreasonably expensive...we were a large group and almost everyone had the same opinion. I had a salad with chicken strips. Giving out a portion that was too small even as a side salad and only consisted of a few green lettuce and without any tomatoes or something similar with a hint of sauce is borderline in my opinion. The beer and drinks were ok but unfortunately the food wasn't... there's still room for improvement.

Bolten Agriculture offers a very pleasant atmosphere and extremely friendly service. Although some of the new employees have only been on the job for two days and are still learning the ropes, their service has already been very good. Das Essen ließ in der Qualität zu wünschen übrig. Sowohl die Haxe als auch der Altbierbierbraten waren nicht überzeugend. Gerade der Altbierbraten überzeugte nicht von der Fleischqualität als auch die Reibeplätzchen die alt schmeckten. Schade. Ein echt nettes Ambiente, tolles Bier aber leider nur mangelhaftes Essen. Hier gilt es schnell nachzubessern sonst kippt der gute Ersteindruck endgültig.

I had a reservation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Our order was taken and served, so far everything was okay, but afterwards we were constantly harassed... the menu was taken straight away (I had to mention that we might want to order a dessert), the plates wanted to be cleared away even though we were still eating , ordering dessert seemed almost annoying, etc.! Guys, I made a reservation for two hours and then I wanted to feel like I was welcome here for two hours (especially since we also ate during that time!), that was totally unpleasant (and I personally told the waiter that That annoys me, unfortunately to no avail) for me to have chosen your restaurant for my visit yesterday and to have praised you in advance about what a lovely atmosphere you have here.

For the third time, several dishes and side dishes are no longer available on Sunday at 7 p.m. It would be nice if the staff pointed this out to guests before ordering and offered alternatives. So we are disappointed every time and quickly have to choose something else. A while passed and then the card was brought to us. After another while the order was taken. And then things got kind of weird. Even though only two tables were occupied, it took a long time for the drinks to arrive. Then at some point the waitress rushed up confused and asked whether I had actually ordered a boiled egg. Yes I had. She dashed away and after another while breakfast was served. The sweet breakfast was plentiful for €8.90, there were two croissants, two slices of brioche, large bowls of Nutella, 2x jam, honey and the same size of quark and fruit salad. One thing was clear: I would never be able to empty these bowls. What didn't come was the egg we ordered. When most of my breakfast was eaten, the service person came around the corner and informed me from a safe distance that the egg had unfortunately broken and that a new one would now be cooked. At the end of breakfast? I politely declined, pointing out that I was happy with that Breakfast is almost over. That was ok - we thought. But then we heard the waitress call into the kitchen: "You don't need to make the egg anymore, she doesn't want it anymore." We also heard the repetition of the sentence more than clearly and also the subsequent discussion about it in the kitchen. Then somehow the worm was in there. Instead of 1x tea, two teas came. But the crowning moment came at the end, because when I looked at my bowls with the remaining jam, honey and Nutella, I was told that it was more than annoying that so much food now had to go into the trash. Next time I should order the ingredients individually. Examples were also given, but honestly, that would make my breakfast much more expensive - for less! We ultimately left farming confused. And I think we won't be coming back for a while.

Das von dieser Gastronomie verwendete Buchungssystem ist eine einzige Katastrophe. Es ist schlecht zu bedienen, reagiert extrem langsam, hat zu viele verschiedene Stufen und am Ende muss man sich auch noch registrieren. Das ist weder benutzerfreundlich noch kundenorientiert.

Sehr schönes und sauberes restaurant. Tolles Interieur, sehr freundliche und zügige Bedienung, frisches und leckeres Essen. Vom gezapften Bier braucht mach nicht zu reden, das ist natürlich erstklassig.
