Very nice brewery inn, delicious breakfast.

We have been to farming several times now. Down-to-earth Rhenish cuisine. Our food was good and warm so far, but it came less than 15 minutes after we ordered and we hadn't finished the starter yet. Unfortunately, the staff was once again a bit unfriendly and children are somehow not particularly welcome either. There are currently only 2 vegetarian dishes on the menu. The old menu is still stored on Google.

It was my first time here and I had quite high expectations based on the recommendation Ambiance is really cool and worth seeing.. Service. Well, it was nice... but nothing more.. could have shown a little more "fun" in his job The food, however, was a disaster. My partner had a burger where the minced meat looked and tasted more slimy than tasty. After we complained about it, we got a new one. The same.. Pattie was probably no longer okay. Thank God we made it through the evening without any gastrointestinal problems. My schnitzel was ok.. not special. Unfortunately, the champion cream sauce tasted more like ready-made sauce than fresh. Very, very unfortunate.

The location is very nice, clean and cozy. The parking options are also very good. But... The waiters are fake friendly, but you get the feeling that you are not wanted. The first thing that hit me was that there was no more Coke, I've never experienced that in 52 years. The fillet tips with the mustard sauce tasted sour, and there wasn't really any meat on them either. The two grill plates were partly cold, uncaring, not even a small piece of herb butter or something similar on them, and that for almost 30 euros per person. Every chip shop can do that better. Yes and then the herring tip😡. Two matjes on the plate and one white one? I have no idea what and some onions. Sorry, a herring tip is something completely different. The Brockhaus defines herring tip as a “fish marinade made from at least 50% acidified or salted, filleted, divided herring meat with onions, cucumbers, spices (including celery) and mayonnaise, which may contain finely ground herring milk”. It's a shame, I was really looking forward to the Bolten Brewery...:-(. So I can't and won't be able to recommend it. I actually only give 5 stars to restaurants that I think are great. To simply advertise. I usually keep negative experiences to myself because I always believe that you can have a bad day. But at the moment I'm annoyed about 150 euros of wasted money.

I received my vegetarian burger late because a meat burger was accidentally prepared. It can happen, but my 3-year-old daughter got a schnitzel that wasn't cooked all the way through, which she didn't eat and when I pointed it out to the waiter, I got the answer that he couldn't do anything about it but would let the kitchen know I find that a bit disappointing. We would have really liked to come back but we'll probably save ourselves that. Mistakes can happen, but I would have liked it to have been handled differently. A small waiver could have been given for the children's schnitzel and I could have expected at least a word of regret for the late burger.

Mixed feelings. Prices in the upper middle class, the performance doesn't quite match. Salad very fresh, fries tasty with not too much salt, pulled pork a bit dried out - microwave? Poppy seed cake for dessert was fridge cold, that's not good. The service employees are not all present at all times, which often results in slow flow in the group. The ambience alternates between a converted factory hall and a canteen.

We always enjoy coming to Bolten Agriculture. So far we have never been disappointed. Nice ambience, nice service, delicious food, lots of parking spaces right next to it. We can only recommend it - it's something!

There is good beer here, including very tasty craft beers. But the food is anything but great. Vegetarian dishes are almost exclusively made up of ready-made meat substitutes. Restaurant at the beer garden of the Bolten Brewery. In contrast to the beer garden, there are selected dishes here such as beer goulash... I can highly recommend this. I really liked the rooms. Staff was very nice. Price performance is consistent.

We were there for breakfast. I can't recommend it.

There were four of us. First of all, the positive, a very nice beer garden and a nice restaurant. Unfortunately we couldn't find a place outside as a few tables of 6 were occupied by couples. Tip other tables that can be better combined into 2/4/6 tables. The service person took our order in a friendly manner. Well it took a very long time for the food to come, over an hour. In the meantime we ordered new drinks. There was a lot going on. Despite the fact that there were many service staff, it was difficult to place repeat orders. When the food came we were visually very disappointed by the price of three dishes. The currywurst for €11, very dark frozen wedges with a grilled sausage (not from the butcher) in a ketchup-based sauce that was pimped. The Bolten Cheese Steak Sandwich for 20€, the same very dark frozen wedges with a brioche baguette about 20cm long which was dusty dry, topped with a little thinly sliced ​​beef with melted scallion cheese and jalapenos. Furthermore, the herring tip for 17€, 2 small fish fillets in cream sauce with some salad and a handful of rosemary potatoes. We asked Keller about the few side dishes and he said that was probably the rest (he had seen it) and more normally there would have been more. He then brought potatoes. The only thing that looked good was the baked pork knuckle for €20. Now about the taste, unfortunately nothing was convincing. With the knuckle, which still looked good, the mashed potatoes were cold and tasteless and the sauerkraut was also cold. The knuckle was cold on the outside and partly crispy, but already tough, and super hot on the inside, so much so that I immediately burned the roof of my mouth. For a total price of around €125, we expect more. We won't come back.

Wir waren zu viert. Erst einmal das Positive, ein sehr schöner Biergarten und ein schönes Lokal. Leider fanden wir draußen keinen Platz da einige 6er Tisch von Pärchen belegt waren. Tipp andere Tisch die man besser zu 2er/4er/6er kombinieren kann. Die Servicekraft nahm freundlich unsere Bestellung entgegen. Nun es dauerte sehr lange bis das Essen kam über 1 Std.. Zwischenzeitlich orderten wir neue Getränke. Es war viel los. Trotz, dass es viele Servicekräfte gab, war es schwierig die Nachbestellung aufzugeben. Als das Essen kam waren wir von 3 Gerichten optisch erst einmal sehr enttäuscht zum Preis des diese kosten. Die Currywurst zu 11€, sehr dunkle TK-Wedges mit einer Rostbratwurst (nicht vom Metzger) in eine Sauce auf Ketchup-Basis die gepimpt wurde. Das Bolten Cheese Steak Sandwich zu 20€, die gleichen sehr dunkle TK-Wedges mit einem etwa 20cm langem Brioche-Baguette welches staub trocken war, belegt mit ein wenig dünn geschnittenen Rindfleisch mit geschmolzenem Schabletten-Käse und Jalapeno's. Des Weiteren der Heringsstip für 17€, 2 kleine Fischfilets in Sahnesauce mit etwas Salat und eine Handvoll Rosmarinkartoffeln. Wir sprachen den Kellern auf die wenigen Beilagen an, und dieser sagte dies wäre wohl der Rest gewesen (er hätte es gesehen) und normaler weisen wäre es mehr. Er brachte dann Kartoffeln nach. Das Einzige was optisch gut aussah war die gebacken Schweinehaxe für 20€. Nun zum geschmacklichen leider konnte nichts überzeugen. Bei der noch gut aussehen Haxe, war das Kartoffelpüree kalt und geschmacklos und das Sauerkraut ebenfalls kalt. Die Haxe war außen kalt und knusprige teilweise aber schon zäh, innen super heiß, so dass ich mir direkt den Gaumen verbrannt habe. Für einen Preis von insgesamt ca. 125€ erwarten wir mehr. Wir werden nicht wieder kommen.

War mit Freunden zum Frühstück da. Das Bolten Frühstück war sehr übersichtlich. Um satt zu werden muss man etwas dazu bestellen. Das angebotene Landbrot wurde an diesem Tag vom Bäcker nicht geliefert. Stattdessen gab es Weißbrot. Als Beilage lagen ein paar verkümmerte Salatblättchen auf dem Teller. Das zusätzlich bestellte Rührei hatte null Geschmack und wurde recht lieblos serviert. Wir waren schon mehrmals in der Landwirtschaft und immer zufrieden, aber vom Frühstück war ich enttäuscht.

Service is unfortunately very different, from underground to trying, everything is there. The food and the desserts had their bright and dark sides: If the fries are delivered lukewarm and the roasted potatoes are half-cooked, the customer is dissatisfied. Unfortunately, the price/quality ratio for the food prices quoted is also not correct in terms of other criteria. It's a shame, agriculture actually has much more potential. The 3 star rating is almost generous.

We had a lovely evening here. The staff is friendly, if a bit reserved. Nobody came by themselves to ask for more drinks when the glasses were empty. The atmosphere is modern and clean. The main courses were consistently top class. The meat was tender, the fries and fried potatoes were crispy. The salad was nicely prepared. And you were full. There are 0 stars for the dessert. The prices are outrageously high and none of the desserts were tasty. (We tried 3) Parking spaces are plentiful and free of charge.

Hallo, habe bereits Anfang Juli für einen 60igsten Geburtstag einen Tisch reserviert mit einer festen Zusage. Meine Gäste haben daraufhin ein Hotel reserviert da man ausgiebig Feiern möchte. Zwei Wochen vorher bekomme ich einen Anruf der Bolten Landwirtschaft das der Termin wegen geschlossener Gesellschaftl abgesagt wird. nachdem ich meine Ärgerniss mitgeteilt hab, bekam ich zu hören dass ich froh sein sollte dass sich die Brauerei überhaupt gemeldet hat und ich froh sein sollte das ich an dem Abend nicht vor verschlossener Tür gestanden hätte. Meine Gäste und mich seht Ihr auf jeden Fall nie wieder.

Last Sunday my wife and I visited the outdoor farm to grab a bite to eat and drink. Everything was to our complete satisfaction, the fries tasted extremely good, the tarte flambée was great and the service was very friendly. For this reason we went back 3 days later but were totally disappointed. We had to wait over an hour for currywurst with fries. The sausage and the thin fries were barely edible (apparently the "country fries" were no longer in stock) and the service wasn't friendly either. We had the impression that we were guests in a cheap chip shop. Conclusion: I expect consistent quality of food and friendly service. I will no longer enter this restaurant.

After the brewery tour, ten of us went to the farm. I had reserved the table months in advance by email. Because I didn't get an answer for weeks, I had to confirm it again by phone. On the evening before the visit, my colleague from the brewery tour told me that no table had been reserved - we ended up getting one, but that's a bad way to start. Unfortunately, the service didn't really work well otherwise. We kept sitting in front of empty glasses for 20 or 30 minutes and no one came to even ask if there was still a need for drinks or to clear away the empty glasses. I realize that it was relatively full for a Thursday evening, but that's just a shame when you go to the restaurant and end up leaving money there and then the orders don't work. In addition, orders were taken but not delivered, but were then still on the invoice (even though this was pointed out beforehand). Of course you go to restaurants primarily to eat and drink, but without service it's all worthless. And that's a particularly shame because - and I would particularly like to emphasize this - the food was extremely good and so were the drinks. The atmosphere is great too, but as I said: without good service it's all worthless. Unfortunately, there was no response to an email preceding this review. That's a real shame, because the additional offerings that agriculture creates are fundamentally great.

I must say I was somewhat distraught upon my arrival at Bolten due to a conflictive situation with my current telegram scammer, and I was a bit worried that I would not manage to calm my nerves before my biannual visit to Phantasialand GmbH. However, the sleek industrial decor and the absolutely delicious food did wonders for me. It’s like eating a Schweinhexe at berghain.

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience for the first time today. We ordered 2 desserts 'lemon tart with fruit compote' and 'rhubarb crumble with vanilla ice cream'. The base/dough of the lemon tart was rock hard and could hardly be divided, the cream itself didn't really taste like fresh lemon. The rhubarb crumble was a little better, but the taste just wasn't the same as before. Maybe we were just unlucky this time, but unfortunately we can't recommend these desserts. Also not good service today (very unfriendly older waiter). 3 stars because we always used to eat very well here. It's a shame that things have now developed in this direction.

We ate there with 7 colleagues. Unfortunately the service was very bad. We often sat "on dry land" for 15-30 minutes, and the plates were already cleared while colleagues were still eating (you just don't do that), when at some point a waiter next to our table called out "Who wants to pay?" It was clear , that they wanted us to leave quickly after dinner (it only happened once with us the whole evening). We felt absolutely uncomfortable and unwelcome. Value for money for the food wasn't good either, everything was a little expensive, especially with this service. We had a nice spot in the shade right in front of the restaurant, it was nice and comfortable, there is a small playground for children. All in all, we won't be eating there again!

First of all…we had friendly, nice service. The food was ok but just unreasonably expensive...we were a large group and almost everyone had the same opinion. I had a salad with chicken strips. Giving out a portion that was too small even as a side salad and only consisted of a few green lettuce and without any tomatoes or something similar with a hint of sauce is borderline in my opinion. The beer and drinks were ok but unfortunately the food wasn't... there's still room for improvement.

Invited to breakfast today... had the bolt and the sweet breakfast... I was really shocked when breakfast was brought... I've never received a plate like that before... nothing on it... delivered carelessly from the kitchen ... we should reconsider whether this is breakfast... The location is very nice. The ambience is right! The service was initially very attentive and friendly. However, we had to wait 45 minutes for the dessert menu. The food was okay overall, but the fries were very salty. The children's menu was extremely bad. The nuggets tasted like old chips and were totally dry. A disgrace for the children!

Unfortunately, not all service employees are friendly. I was very disappointed in the way a certain older waitress treated his guests who acted very provocatively. I work in service and never in my life would I treat my guests like that. Therefore there is a star deduction for this. But the food was very tasty. And the beer garden is super nice!

Bolten Agriculture offers a very pleasant atmosphere and extremely friendly service. Although some of the new employees have only been on the job for two days and are still learning the ropes, their service has already been very good. The food was really delicious and exceeded our expectations. We would love to come back and look forward to seeing the team and the menu continue to develop!

I have never experienced a mustard roast like this. Zero roasted aromas, indefinable "topping", a few lonely cress stalks, and roasted potatoes that were cooked completely differently. The salad already had brown edges. My criticism was heard, but without reaction. I definitely expected more.
