Super delicious and very friendly service.

We discovered the Dorfstüble by chance and we really liked it. Super nice service staff, the food was very tasty and the prices were right too. The beer garden is very nice and we enjoyed the sunset.

We chose the restaurant based on Google reviews and were not disappointed. The food was very tasty, the portions were good and the service was friendly. I would like to highlight the fries and the side salad. The children were able to play on the playground within sight while we lingered over another drink. We'd love to come back.

We used the catering service for more than 30 guests and it was outstanding! At our request, a wonderful vegan buffet was prepared. All guests were thrilled with the delicious menu! The fantastic fruit salad is particularly recommended! Thank you very much and I would be happy to do so again Karin Ulich with family

If you want classic Swabian cuisine with super tasty and generous portions, you should definitely go to the Dorfstüble!! If you want SchickiMicki you have to go somewhere else! We still cook down-to-earth and delicious home cooking here...I love it. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come back. Clear recommendation!!

Very very tasty. We've been there several times now. The attentive waiters in particular cannot be praised often enough. They come every now and then to see how the guests are doing or whether they need anything. The food is fantastic. There is not one thing to complain about. Keep it up!

Today we enjoyed a really great lunch here - excellent, home-style cuisine with a real Swabian touch. Delicious, homemade spaetzle with a lot of sauce - you can (unfortunately) rarely find it in Hamburg. The service was super friendly and attentive, and particularly child-friendly. You can tell that the hosts really care about their guests - they even kept the restaurant open a little longer so that the last guests could finish their meal in peace. We will definitely stop here again on our next trip to the south or to Austria. Absolute recommendation!

Went there for dinner today and all I can say is: Super friendly service. The food is delicious, you can tell that everything is freshly cooked here and everything is homemade and nothing is ready-made from a bag. Price performance absolutely fair. Nice, cozy, rustic atmosphere. Can't understand the last review at all, that's why 5 stars! I'll be happy to come back thanks to the fact that there are still restaurateurs who put their heart and soul into their food and also value their guests.

The restaurant is obviously located in a clubhouse of the local sports club. Well-stocked selection of food. Good-tasting home-style cuisine, matching the ambience. As far as the price-performance ratio is concerned, we would all have liked a small side salad with the main courses.

Don’t judge the book by its cover, this is one of the best schnitzels we ever had and we’ve had lots of them!! Jumbo-schnitzel served with a big, delicious salad and fries. We also ordered delicious Spätzle and really good local Meckatzer beer. Very nice service, highly recommend! (Only German food, no pizza or Chinese)

The Dorfstüble was recommended to us because it is close to our hotel. We were not disappointed. The food was super delicious, a young team from service to kitchen was simply ready to present something to the guests. Everything was very nice and friendly. Guest what more could you want. Price/performance is completely okay. In addition, you could get a senior portion with every dish... Plus point. We will come back on our next vacation.

We ordered catering from Dorfstüble for a company event and were thrilled. The food and service were very good. It doesn't get any better. We would like to thank you for this great evening. We had our holiday apartment 200m from here and had dinner here 5 times during our 14 days of vacation. The quality of the food is excellent. We ate our way through the menu and all the dishes tasted first class. The jumbo schnitzel was cooked to perfection. It was juicy and had an excellent breading. It doesn't get any better. The portion size was also impressive. The price/performance ratio is very good. The outdoor area is excellent to sit in, but the dining room is also pleasant and although it is small, there is no unpleasant smell of food. The two waitresses were super friendly and helpful. A model of hospitality. We were completely satisfied. Many thanks to the Dorfstüble team. It's a shame that we are now 900 KM away. PS: Reservation is recommended!

The food was very good and plentiful.

The food is delicious and also sufficient. But a bit expensive and, above all, carelessly prepared. Simply put the schnitzel and fries on the plate and you're done. There is much more to it. When the place is full, there's somehow a lack of coziness. There are only 2 service staff, really nice and doing their absolute best, but with so many guests you have to wait a long time for drinks and food. Here the boss is making false savings.

No show after 20 minutes of waiting, not even the previous guests' glasses cleared and the table wiped down. Didn't get a menu, didn't order a drink - so left without having achieved anything...

Inconspicuous restaurant, which looks more like it was just a clubhouse. I was really skeptical. But ultimately an absolutely positive surprise!! We received an extremely friendly welcome, were served quickly and immediately felt at home on the terrace. Questions were answered. The food was outstanding! It wasn't difficult for the waitress to smile, even though it was good to do. She managed everything very confidently. We say THANK YOU!

Restaurant at the sports field. The ambience is therefore rather simple and rustic. But the kitchen is an absolute “soul warmer”. Fantastic onion roast, creamy cheese spaetzle and very fresh salad without canned goods or dried herbs or any of that nonsense. Highly recommended. And the staff is warm, cheerful and personable. After a day of exploring the area around Lake Constance, we were looking for traditional German fare. My wife found Bodolzer Dorfstuble through a quick Google search. Due to some nearby construction, we missed the driveway and had to do a quick double back. As soon as we turned into the parking lot, I had a feeling of deja vú. I am about 95% certain we came here with friends in 2013, but I haven't had a chance to verify that yet--not that it really matters. We were quickly greeted and seated. After ordering drinks (red wine, cola and a Radler beer), we were not looking for a gastronomical adventure. Each of us ordered the breaded schnitzel with cranberries and fried fries. To make a long story short, there was a large group and a couple other smaller parties dining there at the same time, but our dinner was served quickly. I am happy to report that the schnitzel was well prepared and a hearty-sized portion. The order of fries was also reasonably sized and cooked the way a fry should be--crispy outside, tender inside and hot. The cranberry sauce was a nice addition to the schnitzel. For me, the bonus was that the Radler was perfect, just the right amount of lemon with the beer for a refreshing accompaniment. For those who need it, they do have an English menu and both servers during our visit spoke more than enough English. So, bon appétit!

Unfortunately, the former insider tip is no longer one. Price-performance no longer fits here. Just under 20 euros for a schnitzel...well. Hence changing my rating.

We were there on March 29th + 30th, 2024 (Tisch10 & Stammtisch) We were guests at the Dorfstüble and we were super satisfied. The young staff is very friendly and always tries to ensure that every guest gets a seat and good food, even without a reservation. The portions are very large, the price/performance ratio is right and it is really delicious. I can really only recommend going there!!! You are really great!!! Best regards
