I've eaten here many times! I recommend the John Wayne Burger – it's simply amazing! The service staff are always very friendly. The team is young and competent. I'm so happy to walk into this place and see how much the employees enjoy their work. Plus point: They have bowling shoes in size 50 – just perfect!

The food also tastes fabulous, and I recommend it to everyone. The service was also very good and friendly. I'd say just stop by and try it. 🤓

We came yesterday without a reservation, hoping to get a table. But when we got there, the place was already packed. The staff really made an effort and were able to get us a table – thank you so much for that! Despite all the stress, the team did everything they could to make the evening as pleasant as possible for the guests. It was noticeable that it was stressful, but the atmosphere within the team was still positive. The waitresses were friendly and even responded honestly and sympathetically when something took a little longer. Yes, there were a few minor "mistakes" – but we're all human. And most importantly: The food and drinks were delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and ultimately, it was a truly lovely evening. We'll definitely be back!

Yesterday, however, it was really busy, almost like in winter, and the place was packed. Despite that, the team was incredibly motivated and really made an effort to ensure the guests had a pleasant evening. What's particularly noticeable: In the last few weeks, you've noticed a positive change – the employees seem more motivated and overall more committed than before. Despite all the stress, the staff wore smiles, apologized naturally if something took a little longer, and were always friendly. When you did get chatting (and time allowed 😄), you could have a really nice conversation – it creates a really pleasant atmosphere. There was a long wait for the burgers, but the wait was absolutely worth it – the taste was top-notch as always. Even though there were a few minor hiccups, it was a successful evening overall. Kudos to the team – keep up the good work!

Actually, zero stars. We went bowling and had dinner there with a larger group. Reservations didn't work despite written confirmation. Lanes were booked twice. Service was completely overwhelmed, understaffed, and at times very unfriendly. The pizzas we ordered arrived very quickly and were of decent quality. The wait for the burgers we ordered was almost two hours; the quality and portion size were far from 5 stars, and the burgers were simply cold. The concept urgently needs to be rethought and optimized. It's a shame. The one star is for the pizza.

Great place with really, really delicious food and a really nice atmosphere. I go here often and I really enjoy it. BUT the service is absolutely terrible. Unfortunately, it's been that way for a long time. There's often an unreasonable wait for food and drinks, if they even arrive at all and aren't simply forgotten. And unfortunately, this also happens on days when there are only a handful of customers. I really like the place and would be very sad if the staff stopped coming at some point.

We weren't allowed in during opening hours because it wasn't busy before us, so they closed an hour early. All the staff were still there, and there were about 15 of us, so it would have been worth it.

Went there for bowling which was nice. Food was good but the ambience of the place was better. We went on a Friday evening. Make sure to get a reservation if you want to go bowling. We had planned this a week before and didn't get a reservation for bowling.

If you want to enjoy a burger, you should steer clear of Bob's Burgers and go somewhere that knows something about burgers: The burger bun was soggy, nothing more - if you know how to make burgers, toast the buns on both sides. "Cheeseburger": there was actually a whitish mass on the meat. As for the meat: dry, unseasoned, bland. All in all: a culinary nuisance; even the burgers at White Castle are better, and that's saying something.... As for the service: the lady with the cuff on her knee was really good, friendly, nice, and on the ball. The young man who served us during the aforementioned lady's meal break, on the other hand, is probably still wondering what he was doing in the place in the first place; disinterested, indifferent, sleepy... What a waste of time, and what a waste of money.

A truly beautiful location – unfortunately, the service quickly spoils the impression. During the week, attention seems to be in short supply: Empty glasses and plates are ignored, and you have to actively call for attention. And by the time someone comes to your table, you're almost considering going behind the bar yourself. It's a shame, because with a little more commitment, much more could be achieved.

The atmosphere at Bob's Rock'n'Bowl in Herbrechtingen is truly pleasant—stylishly decorated and ideal for a game of pool. Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing overall. A tall, slender employee with black hair and a goatee repeatedly asked for our order, even though we repeated it clearly each time. It seemed as if he simply didn't understand us or wasn't listening. That alone would have been bearable—but we had been waiting for our pizza for almost an hour. Another employee then informed us that a receipt machine was "broken" and we had waited an hour for nothing. Overall, a very disappointing visit.

Unfortunately more frustration than fun while bowling, even though the food and staff were great! We were there with friends and were really looking forward to a relaxing evening of bowling. The atmosphere was cozy, the food was really tasty and came super quickly. The service was also great, friendly, attentive and really tried hard despite the full house. People kept asking if something was missing. The skeleton and the sayings on the walls - great. But unfortunately the bowling alley pretty much spoiled the whole experience for us. We had two lanes and right from the start we realized that you had to decide beforehand who would play. Spontaneously change someone? Only possible at the desk. Totally complicated. Normally you have a small computer at the track so you can change things straight away. And then came the technical problems. Nine pins that were cleared were counted as strikes. Then again you threw a clear strike, but suddenly there was another pin and the point wasn't counted. The display wasn't helpful either, just the current pitcher's name, and no overview of the game at the end. This all happened again and again, sometimes things went normally, sometimes not. We just wanted a fun little competition between friends, but unfortunately that didn't work out that way. It was just frustrating, something was always going wrong and the fun fell by the wayside. But what we really have to praise is that the staff tried really hard. They apologized, were friendly and even gave us a discount, really fair and nice! But to be honest: the trouble was still there and unfortunately it couldn't bring back the fun. Conclusion: Great food, friendly team, nice atmosphere, but the railway technology is an absolute construction site. If you just want to bowl a bit “just for fun”, you might be in luck – but anything beyond that will unfortunately be disappointing.

The burgers and the stone oven pizza are particularly recommended – they taste really great! The atmosphere is modern, cozy and invites you to linger. Unfortunately, the service is a small downside: sometimes you wait quite a long time for drinks, even though they are already ready at the counter. Particularly when it comes to freshly tapped beer, it is sometimes reworked even though it would have been ready long ago. That spoils the experience a little. This comment is expressly intended as constructive criticism - everything else is really great, and we'll definitely be happy to come back!

The four of us visited BOB's for the first time today and had a mixed afternoon overall. First we played for 1.5 hours on one of the eight bowling alleys. The online reservation and the on-site process were uncomplicated. Food and drinks could be conveniently ordered using a QR code and were delivered directly to the railway in a reasonable time. The four of us were able to bowl relaxed for about 2.5 rounds. The price of 52 euros was fair and reasonable. Afterwards we ate in the adjacent restaurant (with a bowling alley reservation). What should be highlighted positively is that we were able to pay for the drinks we had previously ordered together with the food. However, the service staff seemed a bit annoyed when assigning the drinks to the new table bill (despite prior consultation and information about the bowling alley, as ordered by the staff). The cash register system still seems to have room for improvement here. We ordered different burgers. The taste was okay, but not in keeping with the price. Two of us chose the “BOB’s Double Extremo Burger” (€20.90 without side dish). We were expecting an exceptionally large burger (especially for the price). We received a slightly larger classic burger. Unfortunately, the taste of the meat was dry, as were the buns. We would have expected more for the price. The overall ambience was harmonious and in keeping with the “Rock & Bowl” motto. In addition to bowling, billiards, electronic darts and two table football tables are also offered. As an ambitious hobby table football player, I was initially thrilled to see a high-quality tournament football table from the Leonhart brand. However, the joy quickly disappeared upon closer inspection. One of the two tables was broken, the other was in very poor condition (loose pieces, spinning handles and non-oiled rods made proper play impossible). I thought that was a shame, because with a little care (and a small investment of around €70-100) a lot could be possible here. Original spare parts for this kicker can be purchased on the Leonhart brand website for a very reasonable price. You don't need any technical skills to replace these parts. We have not tested the other offerings (billiards and darts) and therefore cannot say anything about them. Conclusion: We'll be happy to come back for bowling (maybe also for table football if the tables are redesigned). However, the food didn't convince us.

A true must-recommend. We went there spontaneously and were treated like invited guests. The location fully met our wishes and expectations. The staff is a real asset, customer-focused, and consistently without complaint. The food also gave us no cause for complaint and was offered at a fair price. We would definitely be happy to come back and are sure to have lots of fun and enjoyment again.

The ambience is really nice, but there aren't enough parking spaces for the size of the store, which made getting there a little more difficult. While eating, we noticed that the burgers took significantly longer than the pizza, but both tasted great! We had previously tried to order some things online, but unfortunately that didn't work. Luckily the boss was very accommodating and found a good solution, which is really commendable! The service was always good, even during rush hour. The drinks also came very quickly. It was impressive to see how young and nimble the team worked. What is particularly noteworthy is the young, yet incredibly mature leadership. You could see how the person in charge tried to be there everywhere and had everything under control. In this day and age it is not a given to see such young people in a leadership position, amazing! Overall, a nice visit with a few minor weaknesses, but definitely recommended. We'd love to come back!

We went bowling and then had dinner there with a group of 15 girls a few weeks ago. We were welcomed and immediately explained how the bowling alleys work. Service nice and friendly. Since there were 2/3 of us more people and the table was too small for eating, we were immediately offered a new, suitable table. The food was very, very tasty. We had a cozy and lovely evening. Very happy again. We can only recommend it

We booked at 10 p.m., arrived and the guests in front of us were far from ready. Then we had to wait another 15 minutes, which was part of the payment. This is unbelievable. Even though we complained three times, nothing happened. The service said that they would switch our train on now, but we had to wait another 10 minutes for that. Absolute madness and I absolutely cannot recommend it.

There were 8 people there, first eating for 1.5 hours, then bowling for 3 hours and then sitting comfortably together. The atmosphere is very loud, making it difficult to have a conversation at the table. Food was okay but really nothing special and there was a lot of chaos in the service because the food probably came from two kitchens. First the pizza, 15 minutes later the side salad. Burger with fries comes without the ketchup you ordered and when you are finished eating the ketchup comes, which of course you are allowed to pay for even though you no longer need it and have been asked for it several times. Bowling with 8 people on 1 lane is possible, but then not everyone can sit in between because there is simply not enough space. Others can do it better for the price! 3 hours with 8 people and shoe rental fee just over 100 euros! Since we were having a fun time, we asked for a round of schnapps on the house when paying, this was vehemently denied, that wasn't possible and what we would imagine. Conclusion after a 6 hour stay around 510 euros with food and drinks and 3 hours of bowling, is around 63.75 euros per person. For this price, which many young people don't seem to care about, I can get rid of my money elsewhere in a more meaningful way. Personally, I won't be visiting this location again, but the operator will certainly not care about that because there is enough traffic.

The pizzas were tasty, but not particularly warm, rather cold. We had to wait over an hour for our burgers! In the meantime, the ladies' pizzas and salads had already been eaten. When I complained to the manager, the reason given was that the food was prepared at two different locations in the establishment. For us, this is no excuse for the fact that at a table there can be a period of ONE hour between the serving of two meals ordered at the same time. That doesn't work at all! After the arrogant answer, it is clear to us that we would rather spend our money elsewhere.

Disaster. There were four of us and we were looking forward to a relaxing evening playing billiards and then eating. When I went in, I noticed the extremely loud music, but I thought you might get used to it. It started at 5 p.m. with billiards, which was also very nice. There weren't too many people there so it was a relaxed game. At 6 p.m. we had booked a table for dinner. Ordering went smoothly and we looked forward to our meal. PIZZA, salad and burgers. First of all, the pizza came very quickly, but the salad only came half an hour later; we actually wanted to eat the salad with the pizza. The burgers came after 1 hour. After asking several times, we were told that they were different cuisines and that there was no other way. In the meantime, the noise level had increased to an unbearable level and people could no longer converse normally. The music was so loud that my husband asked to turn it down a little, but that didn't happen. He then had the manager come and explain the situation with the food and the volume, but that was also a shot in the oven. I also think it's very irresponsible for the children to play the music so loudly, it can't be healthy for their little ears. My head is still pounding today and unfortunately it wasn't a relaxing evening. I definitely won't go there again.

We are educated and well-mannered people, we don't need reasons for an argument. Tonight we ordered 2 pizzas, a salad, 2 juices, two beers, tea... both of us with two small children. We played table football and darts. We initially asked for another small plate so the children could share the pizza. The waitress charged €1.50 for it. A little later she very abruptly and rudely asked me to bring our child's water bottle to the car. For God's sake, we didn't come here to sit here and drink the child's water for free. Amen! I'm sorry that such a wonderful place and such amazing food could keep us from coming back!

I would like to give my opinion here, because when I read the negative reviews from one or two sports bowlers, I personally felt a little sour in my stomach. First of all, I have to point out that we are no longer in 1999, where the hall operator did almost everything for the sports bowler. Today in 2025 we are “sports bowlers” and as a local club from the Ulm / Heidenheim area we are dependent on the hall operator and we expressly distance ourselves from negative reviews from people or other sports bowlers who are not part of us and who obviously have no idea what they are writing! At this point I have to praise the service, counter, technology and lane maintenance staff. When we come to play on Monday or Wednesday, the conditions of the lane, run-up and machine correspond to our expectations!! I would say we have a good standard! However, since the tracks in Herbrechtingen are only maintained every 2nd - 3rd day, this can vary, but it's not a big deal. Sorry at this point, but if you want conditions like those at the Olympics or Bundesliga - please go to Munich or Stuttgart - but remember - you won't find your desired conditions there either!! I was playing in Fellbach recently, the pins were sliding back and forth and the balls stayed in front of the ball goal at least 5 times! So others also have technical problems!!! As far as staff are concerned, it can happen that they make a mistake when billing or book something incorrectly - they are only human! We have also made mistakes when calculating shoes, even if we have our own, but this usually happens once a year for us and is forgivable! As far as switching off the train is concerned - if the RUNNING TIME of XX minutes is entered when the train is switched on, the train switches itself off even after these XX minutes! (SO without the involvement of staff!!!!) THAT has nothing to do with switching off without consideration! Of course, if the lane is not occupied after the reserved time, it is possible to extend it by Malfunctions / incorrect counting / other problems… Due to increased electricity and maintenance costs, many hall operators will be switching from ropeless positioning machines to rope positioning machines in the next few years! Especially for smaller halls with 8 lanes, a ropeless GSX from Brunswick is not worth the maintenance costs. Unfortunately, not everyone understands that either. Errors when counting the pins occur with all rope machines, regardless of the manufacturer, and I have seen and experienced these myself too often. These arise, for example, when the corner pins are pushed into the gutter and remain there in the gutter. At this point I can say that the manufacturers are aware of this problem and are working on solving the problem. There is also the case that the pin is counted as fallen even though it is still standing, this has to do with the rope of this pin being pulled out a little by ropes from other pins when it falls over / flying across the pin deck / and this “standing” pin is then counted as fallen by the machine! Maybe we should start with the positive. It's clean. Also the hygiene area. Maybe because we were there right after it opened. The service at the train was also okay. But maybe because there were only four of us in the entire restaurant. The atmosphere is nice and is set up accordingly as a bowling and rock bar. Everything else was underground. The tracks are greasy at the start, making it really difficult to control the ball. Apart from getting your shoes dirty. The pins hang on ropes and throws of 9 are sometimes counted as strikes or not. The result shown at the end of the evening is more of a rough estimate than a reliable count. Whether your ball comes back or not depends on the goodwill of the machine. Sometimes balls are returned that were not played at all. Wherever they come from. After wasting a good 10 minutes on the service, the train is simply switched off at the end of the time without any consideration. You will only receive a credit note or something similar upon request and only if you have already listlessly changed your shoes. But the kicker comes at the checkout. Lanes are calculated with times that are theoretically not possible and shoes that you didn't even rent. Our example: Theoretically the train opens at 4:00 p.m. We only booked from 5 p.m. The calculated time was 16:54. Of course the price will be taken into account. Instead, they charged an additional 2 pairs of shoes even though we played with our own equipment including shoes. Instead of the expected €53, we were “only” allowed to pay €50 for 2 hours minus the service times. Initially a little over €60 was required. Plus shoes we didn't even have. Conclusion: NEVER AGAIN! The store is not worth recommending. Worth advising at most. Maybe the food is good, but I'd rather go to a good restaurant. If you want to play bowling you should go somewhere else.

Had reserved a train from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m The pin and ball return machine is the worst I've ever experienced...sometimes the ball just doesn't come back at all until you call service, which then takes 2-3 minutes every time. You throw down 9 pins but the machine counts 10. Then the track was simply switched off about 5 minutes beforehand. When asked, it said that the track runs automatically according to the system from hour to hour... after 2 minutes the track was on again but after we didn't feel like playing this game anymore we were already changing shoes to go. At the checkout we were charged from 4:54 p.m. to 7:04 p.m. (every hour started had to be paid) plus 2 rental shoes that we didn't even have. The fact that you're complaining about bowling is embarrassing enough. We actually wanted to eat something at your place but you haven't seen a cent from me anymore. 1 star is even too much 😉

We were guests with the family. On a Saturday afternoon from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with dinner at the end. The ambience is cool. Bowling went great, although the bowling shoes were getting old and needed to be replaced. Overall, a little renovation would be good here. The drink order came quickly and the service lady was really on point. Afterwards we tried everything from pizza to burgers. Everyone loved the food. It was warm and arrived at the table very quickly after ordering. Here I have to emphasize again that the maritime force did a great job. Even though it was getting really crowded, she kept a cool head and even asked during the meal if everything was okay or if we wanted anything else. BRAVO!! You don't find employees like that very often anymore. Toilets were also clean. Otherwise you can really spend your time here. There are also table football, billiards, darts and pinball machines. A really cool location to spend a cozy but varied evening with friends. - Bowling (2h): Smooth process, lane was available at the booked time - Darts: Machines in good condition, darts on the counter with enough replacement tips - Foosball table: Should be repaired! Missing screws in males! - Service: It was busy, but the service staff were friendly and attentive. It's not a bad thing to wait a while. - Food (almost all of us had burgers and exactly the same review - there were about 15 of us): Visually great. However, the burgers were a bit dry. More sauce would be good. But what I find very outrageous is the cost of "extras" --> charging 2.40 euros for an additional slice of cheese is a rip-off! (especially with the already high food prices!) There is room for improvement here! All in all, we'd love to come back.

Great ambience, cool decor. Definitely a top location for billiards or bowling. We won't eat anything there anymore. Fries mushy in spicy greasy sauce, burger not tasty. Friendly but overwhelmed service. Price-performance doesn't fit.

All in all, it was pretty good. Super organized shoe distribution for bowling. The food was quite ok. The only drawback was the volume, at which you could only communicate by shouting.

Very great atmosphere and a very tasty pizza. Can only be recommended.

There were six of us there. First we had dinner and then we played bowling. For food: we all had pizza, which was also very good. The service is really subpar. Had to wait forever to place our order. Then we were brought 5x cutlery, there were six of us… Empty drinks etc. were ignored. When bowling, you have to get your own drinks at the bar. In the end, paying on top of that was a complete disaster. We had drinks on the bill that weren't even ordered. Update January 18, 2025 Again we were there with a large group, this time just for a drink. Order was taken immediately. However, we had to wait at least 20 minutes for them to reach us. A drink was brought twice again. When ordering again you had to wait another 20-30 minutes. Although you can see the drinks on the bar. The service seemed overwhelmed at times even though there wasn't a lot of activity. When paying in cash, it was immediately pointed out that there was no change. On a Saturday evening… Very unfortunate. The concept is really very good, but the service really makes you think twice about whether you want to do it again.

We went bowling with a group of 20 people. Reserved three lanes, which worked without any problems. The atmosphere and tracks were great. Drink service was chaotic and subpar. Therefore only a three star rating here.

It's a really nice atmosphere. Super cool staff. Mixed audience of small children, who can really run around there because there is enough space, up to the older semesters. You can play billiards well, although space is sometimes a bit tight. Super cool bowling alley and darts are also well placed. There are also a couple of slot machines including a cool pinball machine. A very original facility in every respect. The only thing that could be criticized is that the music is a bit too loud while eating and therefore normal conversation is not really possible. Service not good! Waiter was very unfriendly. Been there twice and couldn't order pizza because either we ran out of dough or we placed our order 5 minutes late. It wouldn't be bad if you said it in a friendly way. Waiter says “I’m not arguing, you can tell the kitchen yourself”. It was bad enough that he had longer nails than my wife (unkempt) I don't know if I'll order food there again when the guy works there

Super delicious food, friendly service. Actually everything is good, just not enough dart machines and waiting times at the pool tables.

We wanted to play darts. When we checked out we said there was a group ahead of us, OK... after the second group we asked why we couldn't go... we just gave our money back without an answer. We ordered four drinks and got them after half an hour. Good mood but not at all anymore...

We are absolutely thrilled and now count ourselves as regular customers! Thank you so much for you! Of course everything can't always go the same, but hey, this is a young team that no matter what time we get there is always super friendly, in a good mood and everyone always gives their best! No matter what wishes we had so far, everyone always tried to fulfill them.
