Typical BOB'S atmosphere, good food and drinks. Only this time without billiards, darts which was really annoying. We had made a reservation and unfortunately we were not informed that billiards and darts were not possible that evening because there was a big birthday taking place. An honest statement would have been better here... but they didn't want fewer guests to come (statement from an employee). What a shame!

The service was always friendly and the concept was still cool, but unfortunately after it became more and more of a chain the meat patties became thinner and of lower quality, which many people online and friends also said, the price is extremely high, the Burger Day special price has reached the normal burger price from 3 years ago and there are no sides anymore - the argument here was that some people wouldn't eat it. So you don't charge an extra €4 for what would otherwise be a free side order with an already much more expensive burger, or you ask if you want a side order? It really has become incredibly expensive. The chip chips that came free with every burger and a large sour cream dip are also gone. That's really sad for such a big company. I'm asking for an improvement here! I and many others I know unfortunately don't want to come anymore, even though we were weekly regulars since it opened until 2 years ago! And inflation etc. has long since gone down, in fact it's been better for a few weeks than before the inflation. Even inflation doesn't justify such exorbitant burger prices and the extra €4 for fries. That's a total price increase of almost 100%, current burger price + extra side order. I also agree with another long review that the portions have gotten so much smaller, where there used to be a whole plate full of free side dishes, you now get a couple of fries. Even the really great look is no longer just a look, but really very shabby in places, as evidenced by wobbly chairs etc. and the menus are sometimes very worn and some things are sticky. It's such a shame, the ambiance gives the impression that "everything is cool and relaxed" here, but the facts are worse, smaller, more expensive when it comes to the food - and that for a company your size. Small restaurants can do things differently. If there is any improvement, I will of course change this review. Portion size pictures and menu pictures from 4.5 years ago and from today I will add what I have made over time so that everyone can decide for themselves and can also see transparently the coming days. I am really asking for intensive improvements here, I mean I hope you understand that many people have noticed this, as you can already see from the reviews. Now it is up to you whether you want to maintain the reputation and value the feedback and change something accordingly, or not! In future, your response will show how much value you place on it and what kind of restaurant you want to be! I really hope that this is taken as constructive criticism, as it is intended, and that it is discussed intensively internally. That is why I took the trouble to write the whole thing here, as I miss the old Bob's very much.

Price performance is okay so far. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility leaves many wishes unfulfilled. Something else could be done.

After a few years I was back at Bobs in Haunstetten. I still like the ambience, but it's very much a matter of taste. The service was quick and nice. Unfortunately, “shrinkflation” has also reached Bobs. The “giant” elephant ear schnitzel is now medium-sized at best.

Best pizza. I felt like I was in Italy. If I could I would give 1000000000000000000 stars.

Interior concept ok, although a bit daring with the obtrusive grandma wallpaper. It was a bit messed up, my wooden chair was broken on the backrest. Pizza is solid, but the frozen spinach on it doesn't taste like anything; you could pimp it with salt and garlic. Good coffee.

I can only agree with some of the comments here. Bob's used to be really good with large portions and good prices. Over the years, portions have shrunk and prices have risen. Calling the elephant ear a giant schnitzel is laughable, as it is now smaller than normal schnitzels in other establishments. There used to be chips with the burger, but now there are only side dishes for an additional charge. Otherwise the burgers are no longer big. We really enjoyed going to Bob's often, even with friends, but not anymore. Really a shame.

It's gotten pretty expensive... 16 euros for a burger with fries and alcohol. fr. Wheat on Burger Day... And it was cold too. Had to eat with jacket...

I've known Bob's for several years and think it has lost its identity. For me, Bobs just stands for “shrinkflation”. I realize that the prices will increase over time, but the portions have become so smaller that I'm really disappointed. The atmosphere and the staff are all about “punk rock” and “pub”. However, the portions and prices do not correspond at all. The taste of the food is okay. In a pub, the dishes should be of a certain size and, above all, fill you up. Here at Bobs you can spend a lot of money and then go home half full. That wouldn't bother me in a home-style restaurant, but there's supposed to be an artificial pub atmosphere here. You used to get a really big schnitzel that lived up to the name “elephant ear.” Now it's a completely normal Viennese style schnitzel. Yes, the pizza is bigger than the plate, but just because I put an object on a plate that's too small doesn't mean it's automatically big. The side salad is by far the smallest I have ordered anywhere so far. The fries aren't even included with the burger. The burger was smaller than my hand (the photo shows the large extra portion of fries - not the 6 side fries). The food came very quickly. I wonder whether all of this can be prepared fresh in this time. What also bothers me a lot are the clear signs of wear everywhere. This no longer has anything to do with the “used look”. You can tell that someone has had the card in their hand 1,000 times - please print out new sheets. The tables are sticky, the chairs wobble, etc. The service is okay, as is the food (in terms of taste), but nothing special. They're doing their job - over. If you end up paying by card, you get this "annoying" card device that more or less forces you to give a large tip. I don't think it's exactly a successful end to an evening there either. If there is something more going on, the parking space is not enough. In addition, the parking lot is tight. Either Bob's should change its image to a "normal" restaurant with "normal" portions (and also adjust the names of the dishes) or continue to look like a "rocking cult pub" like it used to, but then please adjust the portion size and prices accordingly. I realize that my rating won't change anything and that people will make fun of it at management level, but I'm really disappointed. I was here at the weekend and last time was 8 weeks ago - even during this period the portions have become smaller again. It's slowly becoming less worth visiting.

A rustic, cozy atmosphere with very good food and average service. The pool tables and dartboard are worth mentioning as board games, even if €12 per hour of billiards doesn't feel cheap

The salad was good, but unfortunately the burger was almost cold.

Very disappointed with Bob's! I forgot my scarf there after a Christmas party and told them straight away. Since I work shifts, I couldn't pick it up until after a month. There was a half-hearted search on site and I was told the scarf was gone - no apology, no responsibility. Customer service looks different! I'm definitely not coming back

The atmosphere is special. The conditions are very nice and on point. The pizzas are great. The other food also tasted very good. There was a lot going on and parking was too limited.

I found the food very tasty and it arrived at the table very quickly after ordering. What is a no-go is drinking liquor that smells and tastes like dishwashing liquid. Personally, I was here for the last time because there was a lack of hygiene in the toilet and there were cobwebs on the walls and ceiling in the restaurant. I don't recommend it unless you're a ravenous person and it doesn't matter what it looks like here

We celebrated our wedding there. We were welcomed very openly and warmly. In terms of planning our wedding, it was very uncomplicated. All of our wishes could be implemented. We chose a Bavarian buffet for our wedding, which all of our guests and we ourselves were absolutely thrilled with. It was super tasty, as it generally is at Bobs. The team that looked after and served us that day did a great job and the day went smoothly without any problems. As every bride and groom would hope, we had a wonderful day thanks to the Bobs team and we will definitely never forget this day. We can wholeheartedly recommend Bob's Haunstetten.

We celebrated our wedding in the back barn. The day was simply a success. Everything worked out right from the start. The team at Bobs exceeded our expectations. Planning in advance was also absolutely uncomplicated and our wishes were taken into account. I can only recommend it ❤️

You can always go. FCA football games are also broadcast. Pizza or elephant ear always work.

Food and drinks great. Everything was brought quite quickly and was very tasty. The prices aren't even that cheap. That's why it tastes good. The billiard tables are also a great thing. Staff friendly and quick. And of course a great ambience.

Everything is sticky, tables are from some kind of fleemarket not fitting together at all, toilet is disgusting. Ordered a chicken pizza and had diarea for an entire day afterwards becaus the chicken was raw. had to go there 3 times because this place is super overrated and people seem to enjoy sitting on damaged fleemarket interior. each time the food was terrible, burned. never again.

Burger patty tasted and looked like a frozen ready-made patty. You could eat, but just 0815, not as described on the menu (not off the shelf). Fries also tasted like run-of-the-mill supermarket fries. Prices overall too expensive.

Went to dinner at BOB's Haunstetten today on Thursday (July 30th). The beer garden was full and there was a lot going on inside. The staff was super nice and very polite, pizzas and salad were excellent. Big compliments to the entire team! Happy to come back 👍

We have been to Bob's in Haunstetten several times and are very impressed every time. The service is great, the waitresses are very nice (despite the sometimes “full hut”) and the food/drink tastes good and the price/performance ratio is right. Gladly again at any time.

We've been coming here since it opened. First of all, speaks for the place. The pizzas are absolutely top, the burgers unfortunately not like they used to be, but still good average. The cocktails are ok (used to be really good - the top hat bartender is missing). All in all, a chilled out location with a great beer garden, and the food is above average. Price-performance ok

We were in the restaurant around 6 p.m., friendly greeting and free choice of seats. Great service, first day! Ordered a spritz and a cocktail, the Mua Tai was strong and good but not enough for €12! Overall, the cocktails used to be bigger and a much better selection! For dinner we decided on cheese sparrows and a royal with chili cheese fries. The burger was good but a mini patty, little sauce, the fries a handful with a spoonful of sauce and that for €4.90 doesn't fit! 2 meals and 3 drinks for 61€, that's too expensive for what you get! It's a shame ☹️

I'm a big fan of BOB's. Good food nice staff. I just don't like the atmosphere that much. The old school chairs / old chairs are quite uncomfortable. I know you want to keep the feel of BOBs, but other chairs would be cool. 💀💀

We ate at Bob's for the first time today because of the many positive reviews and were unfortunately very disappointed. A vegan falafel burger with a side salad, a royal burger with coleslaw and sweet potato fries were ordered. Unfortunately the food arrived very late (there were two of us!). Royal Burger with burnt bacon, dry, cheese barely visible. The vegan burger could only be taken apart and eaten with cutlery because of the falafel balls. It was extremely dry and had nothing on it other than a lettuce leaf and an onion. The side salad was definitely not fresh (all the leaves were brown and dried) and was drowning in the dressing. Anything but healthy for me as a heavily pregnant woman. The prices are absolutely outrageous and almost a disgrace for what you get. The plus points are the very friendly service. She accepted our criticism favorably and we got an espresso on the house. The selection of vegan/vegetarian dishes can be expanded.

Good music, delicious food. The burgers were great, we didn't dare try the spicy ones. The only request is to check the toilet more often to see if the soap and towels are refilled. Unfortunately, it was always yawningly empty, despite the request for refills.

We came very hungry and without a reservation. We were offered a table by 7:30 p.m. at the latest. It was for and no problem. We were served immediately, we didn't have to wait long for the food and even our youngest daughter ate an entire calzone on her own because it was so delicious. 😋 The burgers 🍔 were fresh and more than tasty. Have eaten there 2-3 times. On Thursdays there is a promotion where you determine the price of your schnitzel based on a lottery draw. A friend actually got it for free. The schnitzel is okay. I think the regular price is a bit too high, but due to the lottery history, the most expensive price is 16.50.

Today, February 21st, 2024, I'm here with my sons, just eating something, drinking something and having fun conversations and spending time together. The atmosphere is simply cozy and great, the staff is really friendly and accommodating and that's why this is our regular restaurant. We'll be happy to come back, thank you very much, keep it up.

Typical pub with a wide range of food (freshly prepared pizza, burgers, fries, etc.). Good selection of beer and other drinks. Staff is nice and helpful. Perfect for a cozy evening with friends, a nightcap or a get-together after the last football game.

Always flawless. Edit 7/9/22: The overall impression is still consistent, but unfortunately the meat in the burgers was grown. The quality is m.m.n. worse than before. In addition, the meat is no longer available medium. A pity. Edit 01/25/24: Unfortunately, the very tasty chips are no longer available. From my point of view, Bob's is unfortunately developing from a nice pub to a system restaurant. However, the prices are now quite high.

Ate on site and great food. Ordered drinks, but waited a little longer until someone came and had another drink. But friendly staff. Just the music a little too loud and chatting. The Kaiserschmarrn is great and so is the baked apple pizza. Highly recommend the VeggieBurger. Really delicious. And it's great that every BOBS has a different menu. So you can visit them all.

Gestern den 12.1.22. Keine Ahnung wieso, aber Abends war es einfach zu kalt 😡 Ohne dicken Pulli war es nicht auszuhalten, habe es probiert, ging nicht, also die Winterjacke wieder anziehen und nicht nuuuur ich. Die Bedienung konnte es auch nicht ändern, die waren alle sehr, sehr freundlich. Die Preise sind in die Höhe gegangen, aber das wir frieren mussten, nein danke... 😡😡😡 Tut mir leid, bin kein Miesmacher, aber das war einfach nicht gut.

Das Essen und der Service waren gut, definitiv zu empfehlen. Allerdings war der hintere Bereich mit der Backsteinwand an der Grenze, was die aushaltbare Temperatur in einem Innenraum anging.

Der Burger war etwas trocken, hier hätte eine entsprechende Burgersauce Abhilfe getan. Die Pommes waren hervorragend.

Super Location in Augsburg/ Haunstetten. Essen immer verdammt lecker und total schnell zubereitet und am Tisch. Schön zum feiern , Personal immer top drauf sehr zuvorkommend. Als Stammgast kann ich das Bobs Haunstetten nur empfehlen 🍺

Mittlerweile sind die neuen Preise total abgehoben, ein Burger mit Süsskartoffel Pommes 19 Euro,( war leider nur Durchschnitt!) Knoblauch zusätzlich auf die Pizza 2€. Da hat einer ganz heimlich mal die Preise um 25%-30% gesamthaft in der neuen Karte erhöht, die Räume waren kaum geheizt. Scheint nun werden Edelpreise aufgerufen für rein durchschnittliches Essen einer Pizza/Pommes Bude. Ich bin gerne hingegangen die letzten Jahre, aber nun war’s das für mich. Sorry so nicht.

Gutes Essen, super Musik 😊👍 Das Schnitzel in der Variante „Teufelskerl“ war schön scharf. Einzig, dass zu den Pommes lediglich winziges Schüsselchen Ketchup gereicht wird und ein weiteres 0,50€ Aufpreis kostet, ist frech.

Ich war im Rahmen eines Geschäftsessens im BOB's. Die Burger und Pommes haben sehr gut geschmeckt, aber der Service war leider nicht besonders gut. Unsere Bestellung konnten wir erst nach Aufforderung aufgeben. Einmaliges Nachbestellen von Getränken hat auch nur auf Nachfrage geklappt. Abschließend kam ohne Aufforderung die Rechnung. Schade, dass war leider nix.

Mega leckeres Essen. Wir kommen gerne her. Alles einfach super 👍

Habe schon oft was bestellt, war immer sehr gut. Heute das erstemal "Evita Peron mit Falafel und Salsa für ca.9.00 Euro" muss ich sagen das war das Geld nicht wert. 4 Falafel, Pommes und ca. 1 Löffel Salsa darüber. Bin richtig entäuscht. Werde es in Zukunft anderstwo bestellen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Als spicy oder scharf beschriebene Gerichte hatten auch tatsächlich eine gute Schärfe. Der Service war an diesem Besuch aber ziemlich überfordert. Extras wurden auf dem falschen Burger gepackt, was in einem Burger drin war konnte die Servicekraft nicht erklären und der angeblich glutenfreie Bürger kam mit normalem Brötchen.

Das Restaurant hat einen coolen Style. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und wir mussten auch auf unser Essen nicht lange warten. Die Portion war mehr als genug und absolut köstlich. Kann jedem einen Besuch dort nur empfehlen!

Toller Abend in gemütlicher Atmosphäre und gutem Service.

Wartezeiten zum fürchten, selbst innerhalb gleichzeitig aufgegebener Bestellungen, und voll war es heute nicht. Pommes inkl dips fad abgeschmeckt. Auf den nachbestellten Cheeseburger zum Mitnehmen habe ich geschlagene 60 Minuten gewartet. Da hätte man in den to-go Gehälter ruhig eine Portion Pommes geben können. Preis-Leistung grad so okay.

Gemütlicher Laden, gutes Essen und aufmerksamer, freundlicher Service… Immer wieder gerne…

Mit Abstand das mieseste Bobs. Ich kenne Gersthofen, Lechhausen und Oberhausen, überall ists gemütlich... in Haunstetten nicht. Wild zusammengewürfeltes, ranziges Inventar, kaum Raumtrenner o.ä., unglaublich langsamer Service. Man sitzt inmitten einer lieblos "dekorierten" Halle im Sperrmüllambiente, umgeben von völlig desinteressiertem Personal. Das einzige was den zweiten Stern gerettet hat, war die Pizza. Die ist genauso gut, wie überall anders. Angebote wie Dart, Bowling, Spielautomaten, etc. gibt es hier scheinbar nicht. Die Toiletten war total dreckig, es gab keine WC Brille und zudem waren die Wände komplett mit Edding beschmiert. Würde hier keinesfalls wieder hingehen.

Karte verändert, gut kann jeder machen wie er meint..., aber Leider auch die Qualität... Auf extra Wünsche wurde auch nicht mehr eingegangen (bitte ohne Zwiebeln) naja wir überlegen uns ob wir nochmal hingehen.

Freundlicher Service, Essen lecker

Essen war sehr gut, trotz einiger Gäste (für Montags) angemessene Wartezeit. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, vermutlich schon zur nächsten Session (Open Stage).

Service unter aller sau ewig gewartet bis wir was zu trinken bestellen konnten dabei bekamen andere die nach uns kamen schon das essen. Service total überfordert. Personal übermittelt auch das Gefühl von Hektik sind nur am hin und her rennen. Es war nicht einmal am Wochenende. Essen war ok nichts besonderes. Parkplatz Katastrophe. Mein fazit in augsburger Umland gibt es einige Restaurants die besser sind und wo man sich wohl fühlt
