Blues Punkt in Dorfen

I'm not one to criticize places or write negative reviews about restaurants I visit. On the contrary, I really appreciate the local restaurants and shops here in Dorfen. However, I am very honest, and when it comes to food, I place great importance on good food and good service. On my first visit, shortly after the restaurant opened, the service was very slow. The chef offered us a small sample, which was never served. The orders arrived mixed up, and some were very late. We were a group of six women, and since it was the initial phase, I understood. Yesterday, I went there again, this time with my husband. Even when ordering two drinks, I noticed a certain lack of organization: The employee started preparing them but kept interrupting to serve customers at the register. Afterward, her colleague, who was handing out the drinks, was unsure which was the non-alcoholic beer. After we ordered our food, we waited quite a while. At one point, I saw the chef (who is also the owner) sitting, eating, and chatting as if the kitchen were already closed. I wondered if anyone was even preparing our food. Only after the employee pointed it out did he quickly go into the kitchen. He brought the salad, apologized, and then prepared the rest. After another long wait, only a portion of fries and a burger arrived. Surprised, I mentioned that we had ordered two. He replied that he had only received one order but offered to prepare another. I have worked in the restaurant industry myself, have been self-employed for 21 years, and know how important good customer service is for retaining customers. Normally, in such situations, at least a small token of apology is offered, for example, a drink. Unfortunately, this didn't happen here. We had already planned to come back on January 16, 2026. However, after this experience, I told our group that they were welcome to leave if they wanted—for me, it was enough. A nice, traditional pub. It's been around for a long time. I was here for concerts back in the 1980s.

We sat in the beer garden for the live concert by the Growing Youngers. A fantastic performance in a great atmosphere. The food took a while because it was so busy...

Rustic and cozy atmosphere, great burgers with excellent service

We had a great evening at Blues Punkt in Oberdorfen yesterday. The guest garden (at the back with a great view) and open fireplace (as soon as it got dark) was fantastic. There is a small but fine menu with delicious burgers, great salads and hearty flatbreads. Everyone will find something here. The drinks prices are very moderate. You won't regret the second limoncello tonic. Astrid is a passionate landlady and, with her family and team, creates an atmosphere that makes you feel good and makes you want to come back again and again. Bands also perform here again and again. The Blues Point is only open on Thursdays and Fridays. A reservation is recommended. There are parking spaces at the top and about a 3-minute walk away at the top of the mountain.

It's nice that the restaurant is kept alive. Very good burgers and very nice employees.

Anyone who doesn't give five stars here doesn't deserve any stars themselves.

A quaint pub, the best venison burgers in the area, also very good vegetarian options and delicious salads. Very comfortable, very nice and friendly staff, moderate prices, a clear recommendation 👍🏻

Wir waren auf dem Weg zu einer Familienfeier in einen megamäßigen Stau geraten. Da die zwei Kleinen (1 und 3 Jahre alt) Hunger und Durst hatten, beschlossen wir, mit ihnen kurzerhand irgendwo einzukehren. Nach einem Anruf im Bluespunkt lotste uns das Navi hin - sonst hätten wir niemals im Leben dorthin gefunden. Just in Time wurde bei unserer Ankunft die zuvor tel. geforderten Burger, Pommes Frites, Salat und Getränke gebracht, sodass wir keine Wartezeit hatten. Bereits am Telefon fiel mir die ausgesuchte Freundlichkeit auf. Das wurde vor Ort getoppt. Was soll ich sagen, Essen super, sehr kinderlieb, Ambiente zum Wohlfühlen. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne Mal wieder! Danke für die Gastfreundschaft.

Eine Alternative zum Üblichen: nur Donnerstag und Freitag geöffnet, familiäre, authentische Freundlichkeit mit Billiardtisch, Tischfussball, Burgern, Salaten und Bier.

Leckeres Essen: der Burger ist eine absolute Empfehlung! Die Wirtschaft ist urig und rustikal, im Biergarten sitzt man echt grandios. Bedienungen sind allesamt sehr herzlich. The place to be in Oberdorfen.
