A house that only opens at the second glance, a passionate host with a love for forgotten things, a passionate host, beautifully located in the middle of the Markgräflerland vineyard landscape, with a wide, beautiful view. A homely atmosphere, fine wine selection, great cuisine and very friendly staff.

Many dishes on the menu were not available. Therefore only 4 stars. The food itself gets 5 stars! Service and view are unique. Great people.

Excellent food! My colleagues and I had local specialties and we were definitely not disappointed. We had reserved a table by the window with a view of the valley and beyond to the countryside. It was foggy at first, but then it cleared up a bit and the view was amazing. We especially admired the surrounding vineyards.

You can have really good parties at the Blick Berggastwirtschaft. From the simple arrival to the dismantling, everything runs like clockwork. There are sufficient parking spaces in front of and behind the location. There are enough sockets for the DJ. The dance floor is very large and the view outside is phenomenal. Unfortunately, when the temperatures are very hot, it is very warm in the room and because of the neighbors you have to turn down the music, especially the bass, in the evenings. There was a large selection of drinks and the fish and meat were almost perfect. The staff were happy to take care of you and were very accommodating. All in all, I can highly recommend the location as a DJ and as a guest for long and exciting parties.

My colleague and I are in Weil am Rhein for work and were looking for a good place to eat something warm in the evening! Thanks to the internet we ended up here! - direct hit!!!! Very nice reception, TOP service!! For me there was Suuri Läberli (sour liver), which was prepared world class! To be honest, I haven't eaten a better one yet!!! My colleague had Zurich Geschnetzeltes with homemade spaetzle, also very tasty! We will be back definitely !!!!! Maybe we'll use the hotel next time we stay here! Highly recommended and great prices! Great ambience, delicious food and a fantastic view

As a bride and groom, we chose the view for a meal with our families. After a seemingly uncomplicated reservation, we were unfortunately bitterly disappointed on the wedding day itself. Dishes ordered in advance did not arrive without explanation or agreement or were completely different than agreed (salmon instead of sea bream). The final straw was the boss, who took out his frustration on our guests. In front of children, he complained in absolutely appropriate language about the bride and groom's supposedly incorrect orders, which we had demonstrably not made. When we asked about it, we made several excuses and there was no sign of any concessions. The super nice service person saved the evening for us. All in all, very unprofessional behavior on the part of the management, which unfortunately ruined our day!

We celebrated my 65th birthday and all the guests said the same thing: “A wonderful celebration in a wonderfully beautiful setting, wonderful food and very good service”. Everyone was full of praise. Thank you so much Stefanie, Melanie and Markus. You were all great and gave me an unforgettable evening.

We ate there yesterday with 5 people. We reserved the table at 6:30 p.m. and ordered the food at 7:00 p.m. After asking several times, we received the food at 8:15 p.m. The asparagus was inedible and the service was a disaster. Just terrible.

We were invited to a family celebration at the “Blick”. Unfortunately, the operator tried his best to spoil our good mood. The various dishes that our hosts had already ordered by email in advance arrived very late, some were delivered incorrectly, others never arrived at all because they were supposedly not pre-ordered. The operator had obviously missed the email, or at least he “couldn’t find it at the moment”. Unfortunately, his approach to the problem was not at all defensive, on the contrary. In front of guests who had dared to ask about their food, he insulted the hosts in an unseemly manner, making repeated mistakes in his choice of words. What saved the evening was the nice atmosphere, the tasty asparagus cream soup, the peaceful, good mood and tolerance of the hosts and guests as well as the friendly and competent staff

Restaurant avec magnifique vue. Lieu chaleureux à l’ambiance joyeuse et bruyante. On y mange une cuisine simple mais de bonne qualité et le service y est aimable.

Even though we had pre-ordered the food several weeks in advance, we had to wait 2.5 hours for it. It wasn't even possible to get anything for the children, even though it was clear beforehand that a total of 15 children would be there. The service staff was nice, but completely overwhelmed. The landlord was completely unreasonable and tried to throw us off with flimsy arguments. Conclusion: Anyone who expects more than a beautiful view is in the wrong place at "Blick".

On April 10th we had shrimp with garlic in a hot pan and fries in a basket, everything was great, so we made a reservation for April 24th. Yesterday the disappointment was lukewarm cream of asparagus soup, shrimp only with white wine risotto and cold aioli, veal schnitzel fatty and tough. The mountain restaurant offers a beautiful location and a diverse selection of delicacies. The menu is interesting and well implemented. However, we were disappointed with our visit. Although my mother had reserved a table for three people for her birthday, we were only assigned a table for two people. When we asked for a larger table, we were treated rudely by the owner, Markus Kuhn. He didn't offer a solution or a proper apology, instead informing us that we should either be okay with this table or leave the restaurant. He doesn't care. Regarding the incorrect number of people reserved, he stated that he could turn a two into a three with a pen on the reserved sheet if that really bothered us. His arrogance was shocking. When we wanted to file a complaint, we realized that the unfriendly reception came from the boss himself. The bartender apologized on behalf of the boss and showed commendable friendliness. It is unfortunate that such a promising restaurant is disappointed by the behavior of its unfriendly boss. The creativity and passion mentioned on the homepage seem to be missed here.

Pleasantly furnished restaurant with a great view and delicious food.

Risotto was ok, too much salt. Steaks were very good, fries too little salt. We were there with a larger group, unfortunately the dishes were only brought one by one, so eating together was not possible. Great location and atmosphere, parking available.

We were there on May 2nd, 2024 on the occasion of my birthday with 14 people in sight. Everyone was extremely happy with the food, the drink and the warmth of the service staff. The portions are large, the quality is top! Really great value for money! The idea with the menus in the books and comics: simply sensational! The view of the border triangle: priceless. I recommend the restaurant without reservation, even for larger groups. A tip anyway: designate one or two parking spaces for wheelchair users at the top of the parking lot. On the way there we had a somewhat unpleasant encounter with a very resolute lady (guest / she reserved 2 separate parking spaces for a wheelchair user so that he / she can then choose one), who then insulted me as a "dubby Swiss" because I insisted on one of the two parking spaces (I also had people with walking difficulties in the vehicle. After all, they could still walk...). Fun fact: She wasn't from the area, I was born in Weil am Rhein and went to school in Ötlingen...I live in Switzerland and therefore have Swiss license plates.

Gutes Essen und schöner Ausblick.

Die Lage und das Ambiente sowie die Freundlichkeit des Personals sind besonders hervor zu heben. 5+. Wir waren zu viert und haben folgende Gerichte bestellt: Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln, Suuri Läberli mit Brot (diese waren obwohl extra erwähnt, dass ich sie innen noch roh mag, viel zu fest kocht), Risotto mit Kräuterseiblingen, Züricher Geschnetzeltes. Essen war für alle gut. Die Menüsalate waren frisch und sehr sehr lecker. Die Stühle im Restaurant sind schlichtweg alt und extrem unbequem. Man muss das Blick auf jeden Fal gesehen und probiert haben. 👍🏻

Ein sehr schönes Gasthaus urig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es ist eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Wer dort essen möchte, der sollte reservieren. Ein Plätzchen für ein Kaffee und Kuchen kann immer eingerichtet werden. Nur wer da ein leckeres Abendessen genießen möchte, bitte reservieren. Selbst an dem geschlossenem Tag, habe ich per E-Mail um eine Reservierung für den folgenden Tag gebeten und hab eine Zusage bekommen.

Bei einer wunderschönen Aussicht über das Dreiländereck (D/F/CH) bekommt man von superfreundlichen Bedienungen köstliches Essen serviert. Die Blick Bergwirtschaft ist ein bedenkenloses zu empfehlendes "Muss" wenn man in der Region ist und ein schönes Essen im wunderschönen Ambiente verbringen will.

Wieso 3 x 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️? Weil ich mich hier nach 5 Sternen fühle. 5⭐️ willkommen, 5⭐️ bedient, 5⭐️ gemütlich und durch den stimmungsvollen Blick ins Dreiländereck 5⭐️Momente. Und natürlich gibts auch in der Kategorie Essen .... liebevoll angerichtete, leckere regionale Küche 5⭐️

Toller Blick und schönes Ambiente

Tolle Gaststätte, super Chef und toller Service. Kamen per Zufall dorthin und trotz einer Gesellschaftsfeier wurde uns ein toller Platz mit herrlicher Aussicht bereitgestellt. Und das Essen war auch sehr lecker 😋

The place is lovely to be fair. But the table was dusty and we got served without wiping it up. Other tables that arrived later than us were served first and the staff was not friendly at all. My family order different things and they seemed ok. I order a mixed salad and I received a huge plate with almost only lettuce, wild large leaves of lettuce impossible to eat without cutting them but also impossible tu cut because there was no room. They added an exaggerated amount of sauce (unknown one) everything was swimming in that oily watery orange sauce. I must say I acknowledge that other customers were along with their pets, I liked that.

Rumdum eine tolle Location mit einem tollen Blick (Der Name ist definitiv Programm!) mit superlieben Gastgebern! Kann man nur 100% uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Wir haben im Blick Anfang Mai unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und sind mehr als glücklich mit dieser Entscheidung! Die Location ansich ist schon ein Traum, das Menü an dem Abend war sehr sehr lecker und der Service wie immer super! Wir und unsere Gäste haben uns mehr als wohl gefühlt! Uns wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt und wir hatten einen wahnsinnig schönen Tag/Abend/Nacht im Blick und können jedem nur ans Herz legen, dort vorbei zu schauen :-) Ein herzliches Dankeschön nochmals an Marcus und sein Team, die für uns einen unvergesslichen Tag geschaffen haben! :-)

Ambiente accogliente, mangiare buono Consigliato

Salate sind voller Essig. Kartoffeln verbrannt. Fleisch war gut. Dessert war OK.

Ein erstklassiges Restaurant mit atemberaubendem Blick in die Weinberge u Basel. Ein rustikales Restaurant was die Einrichtung angeht,sehr nettes zuvorkommendes Personal mit leckerem Essen, bei dem auch das Auge mit isst. Wir haben Fondue Käse und Fleisch gegessen mit Salat u Gemüse 1a. Wir kommen gerne wieder...

Je nach Tag Zeit mitbringen, dann ist es mega! Wer ruhig essen will soll woanders hingehen, der Blick lebt! Karte klein aber ausreichend, lecker und angemessene Preise. Tolle Terasse!

Sehr gemütlich dort,da fast ausschließlich Kerzenbeleuchtung. Schön gestaltete Gasträume mit einen grandiosen Blick auf Weil am Rhein, Basel und Frankreich! Essen top! Wir waren zum Käsefondue essen dort und es war sooo lecker! Tisch reservieren mehr als sinnvoll! Immer wieder gerne. Mitarbeiter sehr aufmerksam und ständig am flitzen.

Eine sehr gemütliche Wirtschaft, die eine kleine aber sehr regionale Speisekarte hat. Es hat uns gut gefallen. Wir kommen wieder.

Very nice ambience and service. Place has been renovated around 2021 and has a great view of Basel City by day or by night.

Gute aber einfache Küche in schönem Ambiente. Rustikal aber wie man Markus kennt. Erinnert in vielerlei hinsicht an den früheren Adler in Schliengen.

Wir waren als angemeldete Gruppe (+- 40 Pers.) im Blick. Schöne Apero-Möglichkeit im Freien. schöne Location. ABER: Das Essen danach hatte leider zu Lange Wartezeiten, obwohl wir 6 Tage vorher aus einer Auswahl bestellt hatten. Schlechte Arbeitsabläufe? Meine Polenta wurde mit Kartoffeln und Quark (als Diät-Style) serviert. Karotten dazu. Weder mit Parmesan noch gut gewürzt. Als vegetarisches Angebot nicht zu empfehlen. Überteuert. Enttäuschend.
