Sehr schönes kleines Café was speisen anbietet und leckere Getränke es ist echt zum empfehlen

Wir waren schon häufiger nach einer Fahrradtour oder nach einem Spaziergang im Bistro Sonnenkap und probierten verschiedene Speisen aus. Es schmeckt alles sehr gut, aber das Softeis ist das beste, was man in Prenzlau bekommt. Super lecker, cremig und vanillig ! Das Ambiente am See ist natürlich wunderschön.

Essen gut, für einen Imbiss/ein Bistro sehr gut. Es ist KEIN Restaurant. Für einen Campingplatz optimal.

Gestern im Bistro gewesen – mega leckeres Schnitzel mit Pommes und genialer Leberkäse-Burger! 🍔🍟 Super freundliches Personal, perfekte Lage für Eltern (Kids können spielen), und alles in top Qualität. Kommen definitiv wieder! 🙌

Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist wirklich schön. Wir sind zum zweiten Mal hier. Die Positiven Bewertungen zum Bistro kann ich absolut nicht nachvollziehen, die Speisen sind am absolut unteren Level der Skala! Letztes Jahr das Champignon Schnitzel mit Pommes für 18,90€ probiert, TK Schnitzel mit Aschgrauer Sauce und halbgare Pommes. Heute August 2025 Currywurst Pommes probiert, jedoch die schlechteste und Minderwertigste Wurst welche ich je gegessen habe und Pommes wieder halb Roh!

Ich bin Prenzlauer und war hier eben lecker Mittagessen. Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr nett und das Essen hat hervorragend geschmeckt! Und der Preis war auch ok.

It used to be better. The service behind the counter wasn't very friendly. Coffee cups were half-full, cake slices were very thin. Not good value for money!

The cafe is really nice – the atmosphere and the view of the lake are fantastic! 😍 Unfortunately the food leaves a lot to be desired. We've been here twice. The first time I ordered pasta with tomato sauce and sausage, but unfortunately it didn't taste good at all. The sausage was very low quality, and the pasta was already cold when it was served. I thought that it can always happen and different situations play a role, but unfortunately our second visit wasn't any better. The chicken rice pan was so salty, it felt like a whole packet of salt had gone into it. It would be nice if they worked on the quality of the dishes here, as otherwise the café really has potential.

Bistro with a small menu and self-service. The reference to self-service is well hidden and not immediately visible at every table. The price-performance ratio is not balanced, the price for the schnitzel is too high. Otherwise great! Great view of the lake!

Lots of places in the sun and under umbrellas. Also deck chairs in the sandpit. We had a wonderful Wild Berry Lillet with lots of frozen fruit. Really a great experience!

A really great bistro with nice views and a good selection of food and drinks. The selection is not large but there is something for everyone. Friendly staff and card payment is also possible. One star deducted because of the slightly longer waiting time. Otherwise the prices are reasonable and a small faux pas was made up for with a free drink. Keep it up!

The cheese spaetzle are spaetzle noodles (frozen?) in an indistinguishable sauce with cheese and mushrooms. To charge €8.50 for this is outrageous! The coffee was just barely drinkable. Service? You order at the counter, pick up at the counter, and bring your dishes back yourself. The waiters were nice and friendly, but that's about all the "service" there is. The view is just about what saves this place, and even that is partially obscured by indefinable new buildings. If I ever visit this place again, it will be for the view from the other side and definitely not for the bistro!

The view was great, the food we ordered was delicious. The ordering process itself was difficult because it was self-service but there was no information anywhere about the drinks and food that could be ordered. This definitely needs to be improved. A little salt or pepper for seasoning would also have been nice. But the staff was super friendly.

As locals, we wanted to try out the relatively new bistro. First of all, on the positive side: you have a great view of the lake and the coffee, tea and waffles were delicious. You were also served quickly. Negative: The waitress reached into the cup twice, which is extremely questionable in terms of hygiene. But the crowning glory of the whole thing was the cake shown. This is probably not how you serve a piece of cake. When I asked the waitress if she was serious, she acted as if she hadn't heard anything and actually demanded the full price for it. Only after we ordered did she have the cake put away because it obviously wasn't cut well. It makes you think about coming back again.

Wir sind durch Zufall auf der Durchreise hier gelandet. Unser Fazit nach 3 Tagen: Ruhiger Naturplatz, freundliches Personal, direkter Ausgang am See und die sanitären Einrichtungen sind !TOP!. Die zukünftigen Schattenspender haben ihre Arbeit noch nicht vollends aufgenommen. Als Sonnenuhr funktionieren sie aber schon gut. Ein Hinweis für alle die es brauchen: JA, es gibt WLAN🙄. Wir können das Sonnenkap mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen. 5 von 5, und wir kommen wieder.🤩🤩

Wir waren bereits mehrfach dort und waren stets sehr zufrieden. Perfekt, das genau daneben ein Spielplatz ist - man kann also beim Kaffee trinken seine spielenden Kinder beobachten :-)

Gemessen daran, dass es sich "nur" um ein Bistro auf einem Campingplatz handelt, ist das Essen sehr gut. Das Personal ist freundlich und das Essen war zügig fertig.
