Bistro Mordloch in Pirmasens

We just had a drink here and found it very nice. You can sit outside, although simple, but very nice. The innkeepers were very friendly, the mini golf course is new and nicely designed.

This place doesn't deserve a single star and should be shut down. Absolutely not recommended. Unless you can't stand someone and haven't told them yet, then this is the perfect opportunity to recommend it to your new best enemy. The woman behind the counter will immediately show her new best enemy just how unwelcome they are. And let's not even get started on the food.

The landlady is very unfriendly! At a birthday party, all the salad bowls that had been brought in were thrown away without asking. I strongly advise against renting the venue for a party. Unfriendly remarks were made throughout the entire evening, which immediately ruined a lively atmosphere.

Unfortunately, there was no menu today. The staff behind the counter could be a bit friendlier. The restaurant was empty again; we were the only ones there.

We were invited to a christening celebration today, June 19th. When we arrived (the outside temperature was 35 degrees Celsius), we were greeted by an overheated hall and a very incompetent and rude hostess. When we asked if a fan could be provided, the answer was: "Nobody needs one," which is somewhat understandable. ... However, when we wanted to order a beer mix to cool down, we were initially ignored and finally told: "The food has to be served, we should be patient." During the meal, 20 out of nearly 30 guests noticed animal hairs in their food. This became clear when we left the restaurant early and saw the reason as we were leaving. A fly screen had been moved aside so the owner's dog could go through the kitchen to the terrace. After the meal, we went to the mini-golf course and bought ice cream for the children, which we then had to pay for in the bistro. One child took a bottle of water and an adult a bottle of Fanta to the mini-golf course for refreshment. One might think it was expected that I would pay for my ice cream from there in the bistro, but shortly afterward, the owner of the bistro came to the mini-golf course and very rudely and loudly informed us that drinks could not be taken away. I then told her that with a little communication beforehand, this wouldn't have happened. Back in the bistro, we were informed that we had to pay for the It's best to leave cakes and pastries at home; it's too hot. I understand that it's stressful when two people are serving a group of 30 in what feels like 40 degrees Celsius, but the rudeness, the numerous pet hairs in the food, and the dirty cutlery—knives, plates, and glasses—when you're expected to pay for it are unacceptable! I will never set foot in this or any other establishment owned by this proprietor again.

We didn't eat, but we did play mini golf. Good courses and friendly staff.
