Bistro Melis in Berlin

This kebab is a poem. I'd gladly drive for over an hour for it. A culinary delight beyond compare. 🫶🏻

First of all, it is a very clean place, the döner and pizzas are great 👍

Very good kebab, they are slow but cute :)

Pretty much all the signs of a bad kebab shop: constantly changing staff, far too many different dishes for the kebab to be any good (from pasta to vegetable casserole), slot machines in the corner with regulars drinking, etc. etc. The kebab here tastes subpar at best; I absolutely can't understand all the positive reviews. Fortunately, there's a much better kebab shop just up the street at Arnswalder Platz, called "Max und Moritz," with friendly staff, a better selection, and a better kebab for the same price.

You can't go wrong with a classic, standard kebab. But in the evenings, the quality is often very poor, and instead of warning you or offering a discount like other kebab shops, they'll just give you a comment. So it's best to be a bit careful after 10 p.m. :)

A kebab that meets today's subpar standards. The meat tastes like salty sausage, and the sauces are barely noticeable. They served a topping of tomatoes and cucumbers, which I always find a bad thing. The only positive aspects were the cheese, which went well with it, and an ayran, which at €1.50 was twice the price of a regular one from the supermarket, but there are plenty of stalls selling it for €2. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it; I'll only visit once, but never again!

Good price value. I always get the pizza vegetaria and it is one of the better ones. Not exceptionally but more or less good basic snacks

The staff here was super friendly, there were some miscommunications about the food, and they quickly fixed it with a smile. And our kids gave two thumbs up for the döner.

I ordered Grillkäse Dürüm and I got Vegetarisch im Brot... after the first bite all the cheese sprinkled on top fell out although the bun was great. Unfortunetely I feel scammed

The kebab was great! Meat good, bread crispy, sauces delicious. Clean, fast and friendly. 5 star safe

Solid kebab, good bread, the typical Berlin kebab meat tastes quite good, only the “herb sauce” only tastes like mayo and was clearly in the foreground of the otherwise delicious kebab. For €6.50 you absolutely can't complain. The men at the counter are friendly and tidy. Maybe just remember to say when you order that you want a little sauce 🙂

Phew I really don't know how this place gets such a good response. The meat was black. The salad was disgusting. The flatbread was only brought past the contact grill. It tasted more like a warm sandwich that you get in the youth hostel on a school trip and I'm still sitting on the bowl of your kebab The only plus point comes from the fact that you were too stupid to take my drink into account. I'll never go to you again, it's really horrible

So far I've been able to ignore the non-existent service because the kebab was really okay. Unfortunately, the gentlemen today were not only lazy and slow but simply disrespectful. For the price you should order better meat again. There shouldn't be any bone splinters in there. Waste of money, waste of time, After the splinter, let the rest go into the bin... Thank you for the insult. Guys: You never know who understands your language/gestures or small noises.

Excellent kebap and beer options

Definitely recommend! Here very good people prepare beautiful and delicious food.

The food is always fresh. Served by always good-humoured, lovely people who have been dear to our hearts for over 18 years! After the renovation everything is beautifully tiled, new advertising signs, new umbrellas and a new menu, something for every taste. Favorite kebab in our neighborhood!!!

Nice environment, delicious doner kebabs

Very nice and clean place with VERY tasty döner and friendly staff. We had beef döner, it was cut very thin which made it almost melt on the tongue and the döner itself was huge and the bun was crunchy.

A really good place to have a delicious lunch. The staff at Theresen are very friendly and accommodating. Prices are also fair for what you get. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area

As always, very tasty. Ate a kebab plate with fries and salad. The store has a very large selection to take away and eat on site. There are 27 different pizzas, 13 different pastas, 4 different scaloppas, 4 different types of börek, 2 different omelettes, 4 different types of casseroles, different burgers, fries, different kebabs + plates, Dürüm, chicken cuts, chicken nuggets and chicken boulette. Some items are also available as a menu with a drink. For vegetarians there is vegetarian bread, Dürüm, grilled cheese, Seitan, all in boxes and plates with salad, sauce, fries or rice. There is also a large selection of drinks. The store was recently completely remodeled and is also very clean. Employees are super nice. All in all, 5 well-deserved stars

Here you can get a standard kebab. Neither particularly good nor cheap, 6-7€. Almost around the clock. Finally, at the request of the lady in front of me in line, the kebab man sorted out what she thought were burnt pieces of the chicken skewer. When it was my turn, he simply mixed the discarded pieces into the newly cut meat. I thought that was rude, he didn't want to see the feedback, I left. Conclusion: You can eat a kebab here after the pub, but don't expect too much.

Super tasty kebab and incredibly tasty pizza. Everything is fresh and the fries are great too. Nice staff and a chic snack bar. I'm a regular customer there and super satisfied

Me and my friends always go here after training. The guys are really nice! They once gave us some fruits as dessert for free, it was really kind. We love it here. The quality of the food is always steady and not wavering from day to day. 🤍

They never disappoint me about serving the worst doner in berlin. I live nearby and they're the only open shop in the middle of the night so i tried it for the 3rd time but this was the end even if i am starving. Giving 2 stars because of availibility, but the rest, disaster.

Preiswerte und gute orientalische und italienische Speisem und diverse Burger. Pasta waren sehr lecker. Außerdem freundliche und schnelle Bedienung

Der Döner war ganz lecker, ganz klassisch gehalten wie vor 15 Jahren Standard Salat und Standard Soßen. Dazu noch Pizza Pasta Burger im Angebot, was auch bald probiert wird.
