We went to Bistro Mars on Valentine's Day and it was simply wonderful! ❤️ The restaurant is very stylish and cozy – perfect for a special evening. The service was outstanding: The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and they truly made our evening special. The food was excellent, absolutely delicious, and the portions were more than generous. The sourdough bread 🍞 was a particular highlight – simply incredibly tasty! The atmosphere, the friendly team, and the high quality of the food make this restaurant truly special. You can tell that they put a lot of love and attention into every detail. We felt completely at ease and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

A really lovely little restaurant with excellent cuisine, superb wine, and friendly service!

Having heard good things about the restaurant from friends and acquaintances, we wanted to try it ourselves. We particularly enjoyed the homemade sourdough bread and the Crêpe Suzette. The other dishes were good, but nothing truly exceptional. The service was professionally friendly. In terms of taste, it's one of the better restaurants in Würzburg, but it won't become our regular haunt.

Simply wonderful! Excellent quality food – the lemon burrata was heavenly, as were the Sardinian pasta – with very friendly service; we were delighted once again 😄. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Everything here is perfect! Great atmosphere, excellent service, delicious wine... and the food, from the homemade sourdough bread to the appetizers, main courses, and desserts, is simply divine. I'll be back on my next visit to Würzburg.

In short, this restaurant offers simple yet exceptionally high-quality dishes and very friendly and competent service. You can freely create your own menu from the various "categories." Following the menu's structure, you can create a wonderful four-course meal. Our highlights were the sourdough bread and the quince ice cream. Despite the simplicity of both dishes, they were an explosion of flavor. They were also very accommodating when I asked for a piece of bread to mop up the sauce from the main course. The restaurant seems to be consistently busy, so reservations are highly recommended. You can also try your luck on the spot, and they will let you know if a table becomes available. All in all, it was a fantastic evening for us. If we're ever in Würzburg again, we'll definitely be back!

A real discovery for us. A small menu with great dishes. Interesting vegetarian options too. A fantastic tomato/apricot salad, followed by a cutlet with chanterelle mushrooms, and finally a Pavlova. The Negroni that preceded it was perfectly mixed. A diverse clientele and extremely friendly and competent service rounded off the experience. Thank you very much.

We had an excellent evening at Bistro Mars! It's now one of our favorites in Würzburg. We were impressed by the overall ambiance, the excellent service, and, above all, the fresh, delicious, and unique dishes. The tomato salad with lovage and apricots was amazing.

Great staff, very tasty food, and delicious wine to go with it. Price: way too cheap. Add 10% to what you're offering. 🙃

We had a good meal: Wiener schnitzel and pasta with chanterelle mushrooms for the main course, radish salad, and hand-carved steak tartare for starters. Everything was good, but the value for money wasn't right. The radishes were roughly quartered, the pasta wasn't homemade and was too al dente for me, and the portion was sparse. The pasta, however, cost €25. A small Wiener schnitzel with potato salad cost €29. The desserts were delicious. The service was very, very friendly, and we were served courteously. ⁿ This small restaurant requires a reservation. If you sit on the hard benches for more than two hours, it gets a bit uncomfortable. Sometimes the neighboring table gets quite close. There are only a few parking spaces directly in front of the building, but there is plenty of parking around the corner toward the bridge.

We've been there with friends for the fifth time. Excellent, freshly prepared food, simply delicious. The desserts are a dream. A diverse and fantastic selection of Franconian wines. Super friendly staff, both in the kitchen and in the restaurant. See you soon.

Great ambience, nice service, delicious food

We were looking forward to a fine dining evening (for my birthday). However, despite the many good reviews, we were completely disappointed. For example, there was only one meat dish, and no other alternatives. The whole thing was also presented rather poorly. The appetizers lacked creativity and flavor. We ordered all three appetizers so we could try them all. It was simply a shame and disappointing. We obviously had too high expectations. The wine selection also wasn't up to scratch!

Wow - what an evening. A small, clear menu with lots of great dishes. The three of us ate everything from the menu and everything was just great. Our friendly, attentive and really warm service staff made this visit a very pleasant one.

Very beautiful creations, lovingly prepared and of high quality. Always worth a visit.

Somehow I wasn't completely satisfied with the food. I probably had too high expectations. The service people are absolutely great O. I also liked the charm of the place.

We were really looking forward to the evening at Bistro Mars and what can I say... IT WAS GREAT!!! From the food to the drinks and the kitchen and service team, everything was at a top level.

I've wanted to stop by here since it opened, but it was (quite rightly so) always fully booked or places were available too spontaneously. But now that I've finally made it, I can only say: you can hardly eat better in Würzburg if you like regional, seasonal and minimalistic creative food. I could have tucked into every dish and definitely ate way beyond my hunger. Both the kitchen team and the service were extremely friendly and accommodating and the ambience and the rooms invite you to linger. I'm looking forward to the next time and will always come back if I can get a place ♥️

If you would like to sniff the stars without staying hungry or becoming poor, you should go to Bistro Mars! Great homemade sourdough bread, starters which were all delicious. My highlight was the entrecôte! The best I've ever eaten, perfectly melting center surrounded by pink fried tender meat. A poem! Side dishes and desserts also left nothing to be desired. Definitely go there!

After driving past the restaurant many times, we became so curious about it that we made a reservation. I can only recommend this to everyone. The homemade bread is super delicious! For the main course I chose the white asparagus with miso hollandaise. The hollandaise was sensational. It tasted really light, airy and refreshing. Since I love desserts, I had to try the chocolate sorbet. Wow, Wow, that was delicious!! There were happy calories in there that made me super happy. The service team was very hospitable, personable and extremely friendly. As a guest you feel very comfortable in the restaurant. Many thanks to the entire team.

Top-notch cuisine with great creative ideas and very nice service. Good selection of drinks too. Unfortunately, the prices have risen significantly recently and I just find it a bit overpriced. A whole point deducted for that.

Wow!!! Were there for the first time and really loved it! The interior itself is unique (historic, cozy, stylish), but the service and food are also unique in the city. You can literally feel the desire and passion of the entire team! The wine list is also absolutely impressive, and good advice too. The price is rather higher class, but rightly so! We'd love to come back.

Delicious Food, but Pricey I recently visited this restaurant. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was top-notch. However, I found the prices to be quite high for what was offered. While the taste and overall dining experience were enjoyable, the cost was a significant drawback. I believe that the prices should be more reasonable and aligned with the portion sizes and ingredients used. It would be great to see some adjustments made in this regard. Nonetheless, if you don't mind the higher prices, this restaurant does deliver delicious cuisine. Just be prepared to pay a premium for it.

Ein Mensch hat Lust Gastgeber zu sein. Das ist das Erste, was beim Besuch des neuen Bistro Mars in Würzburg auffällt. Seit der Eröffnung habe ich mich darauf gefreut, hier endlich einmal mit Freunden einen schönen Abend bei tollem Essen zu verbringen – Und wir sollten nicht enttäuscht werden! Wir haben uns zu dritt durch fast alle Speisen auf der Karte probiert und Fazit lautet: Man merkt, wie sehr hier Herzblut zum Genuss UND zum Gast im Vordergrund stehen. Mein Favorit war die Vorspeise mit Ricotta, so eine gustatorische Offenbarung! Dominik macht zusammen mit seinem jungen Team einen grandiosen Job und vor allem auch das Ambiente ist einzigartig in dieser Stadt. Danke und bis bald!

Best place in town! Grandioses Essen und Dominik ist einfach ein super netter Mensch. Entsprechend welcoming gestaltet sich auch alles rund um sein Restaurant und die Zeit, welche man dort bei herrlichem Essen und feinen Weinen verbringen kann. Immer wieder gern!

Die beste Adresse in Würzburg für sehr gutes Essen, das mit viel handwerklichem Können und Liebe hergestellt wird und das zu einem sehr fairen Preis.Von der fein ausgewählten und abwechslungsreichen Weinkarte mal ganz abgesehen. Ist es die Location für Wein- und Essensliebhaber!

Hervorragend! In jeder Hinsicht eine herausragende Adresse. Tolles Ambiente, zuvorkommender und sehr professioneller Service, tolle saisonale Karte mit durchweg gelungenen Gerichten. Wir hatten zu viert eine Super Zeit im Bistro Mars. Sehr faires Preisniveau. 19€ für eine Flasche Silvaner halte ich für mehr als nett angesichts des Niveaus des Restaurants. Mit Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Dessert ist man bei unter 40€ pro Person und damit im Würzburger Preisgefüge auf einem wirklich guten Level.

Kein Wunder, dass das Bistro Mars oft ausgebucht ist! Frische, leckere und handwerklich perfekt zubereitete Speisen. Das Sauerteigbrot von Franziska: ein Traum! Wir hatten butterzartes Hähnchen, feinen Lachs und eine fluffige Pavlova, die ihrem Namen alle Ehre machte! Der Service hatte seinen Anteil am Gelingen des Abends! DANKE.

Ein neues Highlight der Stadt. Gerichte auf eine so einfache Art mit höchster Qualität und Geschmack und dazu in so stilvoller und entspannter Atmosphäre zu präsentieren zeugt von einer hohen Kunst. Schon lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen.
