Bistro Campus Kitchen One (HPI) in Potsdam

Best cafeteria in the area, amazing quality and great prices!!!

Unfortunately way too expensive for too small portions. Currently 6,50 - 7 Euro for students is way too much. Food generally tastes slightly better than mensa, but not so much that it would justify the price.

The food tastes okay, but it is 1. far too expensive (both for students and guests) and 2. the portion size is extremely small for the price; I usually don't even get full.

Prices for guests are generally excessive given the small portions and the ambiance. The food is usually okay, but today it was a bit steep for soggy frozen fish nuggets with few fried potatoes and even less cucumber salad for €10.50.

Unfortunately, I have to give this bistro a very negative review. After years of patronage, I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the manager today. There was a platter of cakes right by the counter, and I assumed it was for sale to customers. When I went to put a piece on my tray, the manager shouted at me loudly and inappropriately, telling me to keep my hands off it. When I tried to explain that I thought the cake was for customers, I was again rudely reprimanded, as if I had trespassed in someone else's kitchen. Even when I reiterated that it was a misunderstanding, the manager showed no understanding and continued to react condescendingly. I have never experienced anything like this before and am still speechless at his behavior. Very disappointing! However, I would like to mention that the younger waiter is always polite and attentive. Unfortunately, this cannot make up for today's experience.

One of the older service employees is very rude and constantly snaps at you. You just want to pay and get rudely spoken to. It only happens with this one person, but over and over again.

Three of us ate there today; the prices for guests are "subtly" higher (which is actually normal). The barista was very friendly and the coffee was delicious. The burgers and fries were unfortunately lukewarm, and the waitress, in a rather whim, smeared the mayo and ketchup onto the burgers. The spaetzle were unfortunately overcooked and "mushy." I would like to explicitly mention that we only ate there once, and I'm not saying that the food is always prepared like that or is lukewarm. Experience it for yourself and enjoy.

Terrible food! It is very pricey (9-10€ without employee/ student discount) and vegetarian dishes are probably from a supermarket and just reheated. They show no ambitions to provide proper food and yet charge absurd prices for it. If you want good nutritional values, just get a Döner. A pretzel (hard one) is 2€… and a little bowl (5 spoons) of side dish is 2,20€ Absolutely absurd.

Considerably too expensive for the average quality of the food and the small portion size, especially for outsiders.

Nice weekly menus and friendly staff. Food was good although not super abundant. Will come back! 👍🏼

Unfortunately, I only worked in cleaning

As a student at HPI it's really great to have a lunch here. They are a bit more expensive then the regular Mensa but offer higher quality and more delicious food, while also giving bigger portions. They are always friendly and have a great offer of desert's and drinks available. They also serve free water. This is a great place to visit even if you are not from HPI.

Sehr lecker, teilweise nur leider etwas zu wenig

Als Studi kann ich es hier nur empfehlen. Super leckeres Essen zu einem vernünftigen Preis. Die Tagesgerichte wechseln täglich und sind auch sehr gut.

Es gab Gänsekeule mit Rotkraut und Klößen. Gans gur zubereitet, Rotkraut geschmacklich sehr gut, Klöße entsprechend. Es fehlte etwas Verzierung, dafür war der Nachtisch sehr gelungen.
