Bistro Augustus in Bernkastel-Kues

Arrived at the door on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. Closed the door, knocked and called. There was no response, although staff members could be seen from outside and noises and one's own calling could be heard. Went back after calling 4 times.

Very tasty wine and delicious food. A very nice atmosphere and, of course, a central location.

Lovely restaurant. We stopped in after a hike for a tarte flambée and a glass of wine and were completely satisfied.

Four people came for dinner and drinks. All plates were returned 3/4 full. Salad was limp, dressing was disgusting, and fries had been reheated 2-3 times. Absolutely terrible. The seating was littered. We had to wait a long time for drinks. Not a single bit of music. Never again. Very unkempt and unprofessional.

One of the best Greek restaurants I've ever eaten at. Nice location with a welcoming atmosphere, friendly and authentic service, and the food was truly delicious. The quality was truly high, and the preparation and taste were fantastic. Highly recommended! Please try the delicious rose schnapps!
