Bistro Augustus in Bernkastel-Kues

Arrived at the door on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. Closed the door, knocked and called. There was no response, although staff members could be seen from outside and noises and one's own calling could be heard. Went back after calling 4 times.

We spent a week in Bernkastel-Kues for a little vacation and we liked it so much on our first visit to the Ratskeller that we ate there a second time on our last evening. The service is friendly and on point, the food is absolutely delicious and the ambience with the mix of the old vault and modern furnishings is really nice. If we go to the Moselle again, we will definitely come back! :)

Ate cheese spaetzle there for lunch today and drank 2 beers. Service was okay, even if we had to go in and draw attention to ourselves, everything was quick and friendly. The cheese spaetzle were ok, but they were “spaghetti spaetzle” in a cheese cream sauce. We were full, we wouldn't order them again.

Food was great, the service was very friendly

The food was very tasty. We were there with 5 people. Decent portions, the price was reasonable and the service was also very nice and courteous. I can only recommend this location. There is definitely a need to repeat it.
